Anyways, mostly full explaination of the Forest AU

mind you, this is the sucky, more dark au (evil)

this was more or less the original concept that i had in mind when making lanterns lore fun fact (i thought of it in "if it were not?? Taocc??" perspective so yolo)

So, first things first, Lantern was never sent to the circus by Eternal, and was never? I guess deemed as Lantern? And still 133? But ill say Lann just to make it nonconfusing

Eternal: Eternal is noticeably more of a jackass. Instead of acting pompous and "caring" towards his kids to convince them to do good, he just doesnt care and only makes them so he can get out of the forest, even calling them "it" and "thing", since the kids arent technically people. Most of the kids only see him like. 2-3 times per aliveness. He doesnt care for them and will punish them without remorse. Didnt even think about making Ember or Infinity. After Lantern, he just kinda gave up? And basically knockes himself unconscious for the rest of time due to code manipulation (hes still the guardian)

Shadows: im not doing individuals like Entity so im grouping them together cause this is all of them. Shadows lose all sense of self when they die, basically turning animalistic, most being murderous (think Xeno). No mercy, no sympathy, no concern, just primal instincts. Even Darkis, even though shes a deer, she wont hesitate to terrorize Lann (she cant do much else, the others kill for her)

Lantern: due to growing up stuck in the forest, theyve resorted to hunter tactics? But theyre the hunted one. Basically survival instincts, keep your head down low, dont make noise, etc. Run & hide or be killed. From many many close calls from literal death, paranoia and terror filled them to the brim as they basically became nonfunctional. (Eternal saw them unfit due to this and left lann there until they died (they didnt)). This guys a big ball of anxiety and dread whos scared of the dark yet constantly have to live in it (its a survival thing, they also see hallucinations in the dark of the shadows cause of it). Its just one big decent into suffering and insanity.

Ember: in the main lore, Ember is the one who kept lann out of insanity back in the forest when they were young. Now, since Eternal is a bitch, she doesnt exist. You see the problem?

Forest itself: much more darker, deeper, and creeper. Theres obviously Eternals Mansion in the center, but theres also a wood cabin on the opposite side. Thats where lann lives(?) Yeah. Its also shrouded in deafening silence all around. Just a twig snap can be heard miles away. Its why silence is so important to survival.

Day 7 - forest

This is specifically of @llamagoddessofficial forest god au!! I couldn’t find any posts with a more offical design other than, he has moose antlers and plants growing on him-

I did do rough designs for the other boys which I will rant about now!

All of them have hands that turn into wood- because I thought it was a neat thing

Sans is birch, not super sure of reds but I like to think pine, and horror is just dead rotted willow- their antlers are also wood-

Horrors antlers have rotted and (idk what the word is but if you’ve watched the movie epic, and where the villain makes all the wood weird and lumpy it’s that)

I gave red a more autumn theme because I’d heel over if they all had green- he also has berries growing on his antlers

Sans has a mushroom hat, I don’t like the mushroom hat-

I might redo these in the future- unsure
