i LOVE brainiac Homelander!! i just think he's a little dork deep down!

the moment that always stands out to me is when Frenchie is trying to keep him distracted, and he says he's opening a fogo de chão. he asks Homelander, "You know what a churrascaria is?"

and without missing a beat he says, "Yeah, it's a Brazilin steakhouse."

you KNOW this man is an absolute menace on trivia night. he also takes it way too seriously, and he absolutely will threaten the wellbeing of his team if they're not pulling their weight.

and of course he obviously has an extensive knowledge of american history. that's his whole schtick. he will happily prattle off everything he knows, preening and purring for praise, but i bet you he's a stickler for all kinds of information.

for example, good luck watching movies or shows with him! he will pause it to tell you, "You know, silencers aren't even a thing. That is a suppressor. All it does is dampen the sound of the gun to protect the shooters hearing, and maybe make it more difficult to sus out where it was fired. Even with a suppressor fitted, guns still produce more than 100 decibels of sound. More than enough to alert a whole building. Toootal Hollywood crapola."

he always has to tell you that your average person would rip out a tooth before they ripped out the pin from a grenade, and how CPR only ever works 10% of the time, and there's no "enhancing" security footage.

his biggest pet peeve is battle noises in space, though. he especially likes space facts, and he always follows it up with, "Trust me, I've been there." to the point where you could probably say it at the same time as him.

i went to Fogo de Chão in SF and it was a great experience as a meat lover. we were a huge table however and the tip was like $100 and i almost passed out lol

I went to fogo fe chao so to much meat, cheese bread puffs, cheese etc

okay that sounds incredible. steakhouses here are sooooo expensive (and they sometimes measure by oz, which makes things worse), so you should def make the most of an all you can eat experience lol. my parents went to this place called tuscany steakhouse in midtown when they were here in august, and the bill sure was something lol.
