“The one who loves the least, controls the relationship.” - Robert Anthony
Tumblr media
You should’ve known that something was wrong the moment a flamboyant man with vibrant clothes approached you in that book café. And you should’ve known that something was wrong the moment your closed ones started to die one by one.
But it was too late to regret it now, wasn’t it? What happened had happened. There was no need to think about it, especially if the past only brought pain to your already depressed self. You should move on. You should get out of your head more often. You should start seeking help. You should allow yourself happiness. You should allow him to make you happy.
At least, that was what he said.
The truth is, it wasn’t that easy. It would never be that easy to forget that you were the one who had dragged them into your little drama. Them; your family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances. Heck, even your boss! Sure, it wasn’t your fault, to begin with. You didn’t even know that Tsukiyama was a ghoul in the first place.
Had you were a bit more observant, perhaps you would’ve noticed the hints. The way he occasionally licked his lips whenever you spoke about something, the way he studied your face and all the expressions it displayed, the way he checked you out (it wasn’t really discreet, but you’d learned to ignore it), the way he often complimented you whenever you wore clothes that accentuated your figure perfectly, and the way he tended to sniff your neck as a form of ‘greeting’. You’d assumed he was being attentive and considerate, yet it wasn’t all that far from the truth.
Attentive because you were his prey, and considerate because he wanted to make you feel more at ease around him.
But somewhere along the way, he began to change. He became more gentleman-like and… possessive. For example: how he wrapped an arm around your waist whenever you walked together, how he glared at anyone who talked or looked at you for too long, how he bought you some expensive presents regardless of the day and its importance, how he often invited you to his mansion and vice versa, and how he relished in reading books or do some particular gestures to you. Actions that seemed too sweet to be directed towards mere friends, and things that would spark a sense of intimacy between you.
You were a bit caught off guard, to say the least. The furthest things he’d ever done were light flirting and occasional yet lingering touches. But it was a rather nice surprise, you had to admit. Therefore, you’d decided to not to overthink it too much. Again, you’d assumed he was being a good friend. This was probably how he usually showed affection towards his close ones. And besides, you were quite flattered by the amount of attention he’d put on you. So, there was nothing to be suspicious of, right?
Right. Due to how often you both spent time with each other, he might have felt more comfortable now. Tsukiyama had always been extra when it came to you, anyway.
Just like how extra he was when he introduced you to his father.
The last note echoed in the spacious room as Tsukiyama withdrew his fingers from the ivory keyboards. His room. There were paintings of you hung on the wall, each depicting different expression and different attires. You didn’t know when he’d taken up a lesson for painting, but apparently, he’d worked hard to perfect every single frame.
That was what he’d told you on that fateful day, where you’d stupidly visited him because he was ‘sick’. You weren’t aware that ghouls had impressive healing ability, and sickness was probably impossible for them to get in the first place.
“How was it, Mi Amor?” he asked gently, affectionately, lovingly. He caressed your hair, and you sensed love – sincere love – pouring out from his fingertips.
How could a ghoul, one that had killed and eaten many people with another excuse besides hunger, could love someone so earnestly? It was illogical. It was preposterous. It was shocking. It was downright terrifying.
“I’ve composed this song since our first encounter,” he said, droopy eyes admiring the gloss of your crown. His servants have done a good job at taking care of your appearance; from the top of your head to the tip of your feet. All of them were clean, fragrant, and resplendent.
Just like what he had always desired.
“I know this is nothing but I hope you can feel my love, Ma cherié.”
Guilt couldn’t even describe what you were feeling right now; this stomach-churning feeling that told you that you would never loved him the way he wanted you to. The way he loved you. Because he was your captor – your kidnapper – and to fall in love with him would be a sin. A crime so unforgivable no matter how many times you begged for forgiveness.
You weren’t sick like him. But you couldn’t bring yourself to hate him, either.
Because he was your friend. You might have even considered him as your best friend; your confidant. He was your go-to person whenever you wanted to vent out, sharing crazy theories that had taken up almost all the spaces in your brain, asking nonsensical things, have a philosophical debate, or just someone to accompany you.
Because you were lonely. Nearly everyone that you’d befriended was superficial, or at least didn’t pay much attention to the details. You didn’t have anyone who you could truly connect with. You didn’t have anyone willing to wake up at ungodly hours and listen to your rambling. You didn’t have anyone who could see behind your quiet yet friendly facadé.
Because you yearned for a friend. And he… He had been perfect. He was everything you ever wanted; everything you ever wished for in a friend. Tsukiyama was, although eccentric, the only friend you could connect with. He was sophisticated, he understood your feelings, he entertained your strange ideas, and he always kept his promises. Never once did he let you down, and never once did he interrupt you when you talked about something.
Because you were hopeless. But it was all just a facadé, wasn’t it? In the end, you’d never truly meant anything to him aside from being a pet. A treasure. A possession he could never let go. A doll that, despite her master’s declaration of love, could only wait until the day he grows bored and throw you away. Which, in your case, throwing you into the chasm of his stomach.
Were you destined to end like this? Did God hate you or something? Because if so, then this was the cruelest punishment you’d ever gotten. It almost felt… unfair.
You hated this, though. You hated how you could do nothing but sit obediently on his lap. You hated how he dressed you up in fancy dresses and accessories as though you were a fucking mannequin. You hated how he always spoon-fed you. You hated that you had to spend the majority of your time waiting for him to come; to take you out of this hell disguised as a beautiful room decorated with your favorite flowers. You hated that the garden was the only place where you could breathe the fresh air. You hated that his servant – Kanae, was it? – seemed to hate you. You hated how his father immediately took a liking on you. You hated how he had suggested Tsukiyama to just marry you already, and you hated how Tsukiyama had the guts to accept it eagerly. He even promised to do so as soon as you were a bit more familiar with your new life.
You hated this; your predicament. Everything. And most of all, you hated your life. You didn’t think it was possible to loathe something abstract before. But now, you knew.
Pushing your glasses, you nodded. This was probably the least expensive thing that you had, and the only thing that you owned from your old life. A reminder that you used to be an ordinary woman with an ordinary house and ordinary life before you became a lovely lady with a lovely mansion and lovely life. “It was superb. Thank you, Tsukiyama-san.”
The warm smile immediately disappeared as a cold frown settled on his face. “What did I tell you about formality, hm?” he asked, warning laced his pernicious words.
You stiffened on his lap, mentally berating yourself over a little slip that could’ve been easily avoided. “A-apologize, Shuu.” you stammered stoically, albeit with a fearful hint. “I wasn’t… in my right mind just now. Forgive me.”
“There!” Tsukiyama beamed, his mood changed so quickly you weren’t sure whether to be relieved or not. “Isn’t it much better? After all, we’re lovers. It’ll be odd to call each other with such stiff nicknames.” He cocked his head and regarded you with those gleaming purple eyes.
You recognized that look. You fully comprehended what it meant. He was searching for another mistake; the slightest error that he could use against you. Internal panic aroused bile to leave your mouth – to empty your stomach from its nutrients because it wasn’t as if he would give you another, right? Tsukiyama didn’t want you to weigh more than necessary. Your current weight was enough. Not too skinny yet not too fat, either.
It was a perfect body.
“Don’t you think so, Tesoro?”
“Right, of course.” You sucked in a deep breath and nodded dutifully. “I’m sorry, it won’t happen again.”
“It’s alright, Miele. Mistakes happen.” You looked away, trying to ignore the irony of those words. He must have been in a good mood today if he didn’t start punishing you. Thank goodness. “Just promise not to repeat it, okay? I’d hate to ‘lecture’ you again, Chérie.”
Tears stung your pupils as you dipped your head. You didn’t want him to see you were crying. No, not again. It was enough to display weakness in the past. You couldn’t afford to be weak. You had to be strong. You needed to be strong.
For him or yourself? You weren’t sure. You refused to think about it, either. As long as you were still alive, although not necessarily well, you would be fine.
“Yes, I promise.”
At least, this bittersweet affection was better than be a part of himself. Literally.

If you didn't read the last chapter of Tsurune don't read the ask: OMG! I almost get killed in this "Masa-san lightly pinched Minato’s cheeks and pulled them" and in the car scene.I laughed so hard on minato he's really didn't think about hiding his feeling lol. what do you think about the chapter?
Took me almost two full days to reply to this, and if that doesn’t speak volumes about how wild this chapter was, then I don’t know what would.
I’d read spoilers of volume 2 right after it came out so I already knew what was gonna go down, and being very honest, the cheek pinching was something I’d actually expected to see at some point after reading the summaries of volume 1. And rather than wishing for it, I was waiting for it because it seemed so obvious to me that this was gonna happen one way or another. I mean, it’s just so much like Masaki to do something of that sort, lmao. But I admit I expected it to happen in a daily-situation scene and not… like this. As always, Ayano surpassed my expectations on the unapologetically huge amounts of gay.
I’ve mentioned this topic in my post about the differences between the novel and the anime. Minato may keep a lot of secrets from everyone, yet Masaki has been the sole exception to this ever since they met. I mean, look at volume 1. It’s basically Minato hiding nearly every important thing from literally everybody except his conveniently-there-by-narrative-default master. Volume 2′s chapter 3 is basically a massive meme based off this plot device, like:Shuu: *touches Masaki*Minato: Sir, that’s my emotional support coach.Anyway, my point is that Minato doesn’t hide anything from Masaki, ever. Not even the most embarrassing shit.
The chapter was very interesting. It was rather entretaining to see how inept Eisuke actually is regarding himself. The novel often references Amanojaku, so I was wondering if we’d ever get an Amanojaku-ish character, and sure enough, here he is.
Other than that, good God. Minato is such a fucking embarrassment. I adore this walking fivehead so much. Had to put the extent of my love for him and this chapter under a cut because it’s probably the lenghtiest ask response I’ve ever written.
I think I can’t even pinpoint what the best thing about this chapter was. Like, the details are very subtly placed in all the right spots as always, and this is probably what leaves the bigger impressions on me. And by “details” I mean the subtext and symbolisms.
For starters, Ayano knows very well how to fuck with plant language nerds. She’s used a lot of it with Masaki and Minato, and it feels like the bar just keeps going up. First it was oaks (strength and knowledge), then bamboo (inspiration), then azaleas (developing passion), and now it’s freaking bellflowers. What’s more: the ones that Minato stopped by were spotted bellflowers. They’re known for their heart-shaped foliage. In flower language, bellflowers stand for gratitude and unwavering love. And sure enough, Minato doesn’t waver at all before going into that bakery and buying a batch of cinnamon buns (did it really have to be that of all things, omg) for Masaki, specifically.
I can’t stress how wholly, completely, utterly unnecessary that was. There’s no heterosexual explanation to it. I mean, there’s no heterosexual explanation to a lot of things about these two, but the romantic connotation was really heavy on this one. You have to use a fucking magnifier to find the platonic in this bullshit, and it’s still hella hard to ignore the implications. It’s even harder when Minato is berating himself for buying the buns on impulse when he heard that they go well with coffee and thinking about how irritated he feels when Shuu is around Masaki. He doesn’t even try to pretend that he’s not jealous. Be more like any other oblivious sports anime protagonist and let me die in peace, for fuck’s sake.
I’m just trying to pretend that I don’t know cinnamon is associated with romantic love and often used to inflame passion, because that’s too fucking much.
On other news, I’m highly pleased that we get SeiKai hints even when Seiya and Kaito don’t show up together. Kaito mentioning Seiya’s name every two or three sentences and approaching Minato simply because he saw Kuma and thought that maybe Seiya was there was gold, tbh. It was a good break before the mattress fire that happens right after.
The way Minato found out that Masaki meant well and didn’t want him to become like he was in the past was just so priceless. Take this shit straight to the face, son. Get fucking wrecked by how much he cares about you.
It’s also really freaking hilarious to me how everything that concerns Minato’s relationship with Masaki involves shoujo manga tropes. Envious of your rightful rival being too long around your master? Check. Learning the hard way that it was all for your sake? Check. Getting frustrated and shouting like a bitch at the irony of it? Check.
Minato is Minato, though, so of course he acknowledges that he wants Masaki by his side in spite of this. Did he have to do that while lying in bed, though? I think the fuck not.
And cue Masaki texting him immediately while he’s doing that, because Masaki always shows up when he wants to see him, and because this has turned into a romantic comedy, apparently? Love me that age-old cliché where the main character goes to the window after getting a message and finds the person who’d been occupying their thoughts standing there by sheer unadulterated coincidence, and they fucking heard you, you little shit.
This comes in a set with the “first visit and you’re already inviting him to his room” trope because why not follow all the way down with the romcom narration structure since we’re already at it? Double entendrees every three phrases or so because go big or go home.
“Dad isn’t home yet, so should we go upstairs?”
Yeah, lmao, that’s what about every shoujo heroine says before getting lectured on how they “shouldn’t make that sort of invitation to a guy”.
“It feels great. Thank you, Masa-san.”
It doesn’t feel so great not being able to overlook this, Ayano.
“Well, I may not look it, but I am your master after all.”
SHUT THE FUCK UP, JESUS CHRIST.
Seriously, this shit only loses to Fifty Shades of Takehaya and his more than unasked-for lines about “punishing” and “thoroughly training” Kaito. Sure, none of this is on the level of dirty jokes, but the subtleties are still too many.
The fluff is what gets you good, though. Because that was fluff right there. No, it doesn’t classify as hurt/comfort. These bastards fluffy. I just wanna know who managed to stay upright after reading about Minato feeling his heart ache because it had been too long since the last time he’d seen Masaki smile at him, ‘cause I sure as fuck didn’t.
No time is wasted before they off their asses to the place where they first met, which is basically a world of their own at nighttime (it’s named Yata Shrine for a reason; fuck that reason). And of course there had to be your usual load of elusive language in the middle, where the destination is pitch-dark but the road there is all wildlife and stars and this sparkly wave of light at the end of the tunnel. Welcome to the land of bitch, this isn’t a shoujo, stop acting like one.
Or don’t. We’re indulging. Screaming internally the entire time, but still indulging.
The dialogue is so obviously crafted to seem like something else that it’s useless to pretend it wasn’t inentional. I already knew what was coming but reading about the whole thing was an experience.
“I’m happy that you became my coach at Kazemai but I’m also not, because I don’t get to keep you for myself.”
Did he have to say it like that? Abso-fucking-lutely not. But he did anyway, because since when does Narumiya Minato give a flying fuck about ambiguity versus precision?
Six kinds of gay here. And all of them confirm that Minato’s “mixed feelings” when seeing Kaito being so familiar with Masaki from the get-go were, in fact, pure jealousy. It’s not even envy, because that’s wanting something someone has and you don’t. Minato was even closer to Masaki than Kaito was at that point, so it was all just his Masaki-exclusive greed speaking, plain and simple.
This is what gets me about this scene, tbh. It’s so much like Minato to say that, but it’s so alien to read it in a shounen novel. I don’t recall seeing anything so direct and raw in any sports franchise aside from Yuri on Ice. The most we get is “I wanna do [insert sport here] with you”. But this case is a blatant “we’d be doing the thing we like together one way or another and I’d have preferred if no one else were involved”.
And this comes right before we get a reminder that Minato doesn’t like it when Masaki treats him as a child, again. That’s… something. I hate this something a lot.
Also, it feels like the two of them are having completely different conversations with each other. Masaki is talking about his struggle coaching Minato and pointing out the crap he has to deal with in having a student whose last words are probably gonna be something stupid like “oops” or “oh, shit”, and Minato is countering with apparently completely unrelated arguments.
“But didn’t you let Shuu touch your belly, Masa-san?”
The fuck does that have to do with anything? How is that of any relevance to the conversation? What is this gay nonsense?
“If anyone else heard only that, I’d sound like a pervert, wouldn’t I? Did you want to touch it too, Minato?”
JUST DISMISS IT, YOU MOTHERFUCKER. DON’T ENCOURAGE HIS FOLLY. LET IT DIE.
“I’m no pervert, so I’m good.”
And now the moment of crushing honesty is over. Time for lies and derision because we all saw earlier in this chapter that (I can’t believe I’m actually writing this) Minato did, in fact, want to touch Masaki. Boy just called himself a pervert, indirectly. Gotta congratulate him for playing himself for, like, the hundredth time, I guess.
Of course Masaki would get emo in this scene sooner or later, because the fact that he’s dealing with the most reckless character out of the cast is apparently not a pertinent reason for things to have ended up the way they did. And of course Minato was gonna do something about it. It’s almost obligatory by now that they lift each other up.
WHY LIKE THIS, THOUGH?
Like, there’s just too much here that doesn’t translate into a master-student thing. Okay, I can totally see that in the dialogue but the actions are screaming something else entirely. Obviously, as I always say, I’m not gonna label it as romantic. What I’m talking about is: this isn’t the behavior of someone interacting with a teacher, but of a person with another. I mean, no matter how you look at it, there would have been a lot to consider here regarding the minimum of restraint that one should have around their mentor or at least around their elders, but Minato is basically saying “fuck you” to all of this.
Yeah, sure, go reach out to grab his hand and gently brush his bangs off his eyes simply because you can’t help the urge to look into them. No big deal. It’s just the affection of a disciple. Anyone else would have done the exact same.
I JUST WANNA TALK, AYANO. I JUST WANNA TALK.
Not trying to stereotype or devalue the worth of teacher-student relationships. Just back to my previous point: you don’t do this shit to a teacher, realistically speaking. And even if anyone hypothetically had any gall to do that, neither the teacher nor any onlooker would disconsider it an advance. Anybody would find it a little bit out of place at the very, very least.
Also, that declaration? Literally Minato swearing he would have Masaki be the one teaching him for the rest of his life? This after having said similar bullshit like claiming that he would never let Masaki go or that he’d follow Masaki to the grave. The bar just keeps going up. So, in short, “you don’t have to be my master but I’ll be damned if you’re not my master forever”.
Ayano, you’re murdering us. You’re murdering your readers.
“I feel more relaxed when I talk to you, Masa-san.”
No news here but thank you for saying it anyway. There had to be icing on this cake. And the cherry on top was Masaki’s explanation about the word “talking”. Are you telling us that these idiots hand their hearts over to each other every time they open up like this, Ayano? IS THAT WHAT YOU’RE FUCKING SAYING, AYANO?
Love me all of Minato’s non-existent heterosexuality being killed with fire.
I imagine that Minato must have made the cutest face when seeing Fuu again. Fuu, the owl with a heart-shaped face, showing up at the most convenient time. Because heart-shaped leaves weren’t enough, apparently.
The end of this chapter made me feel a tiny bit bad for Shuu, though, because it was one more instance of something that he and Minato and no one else had in common that got overwritten and outshone. It’s definitely a parallel to when they were little kids learning under Saionji and hiding it from everyone until a certain point, yelling at the top of their lungs and being competitive while taking things seriously to an extent. Here, we have Minato and Masaki in perfect sync, reproducing the exact same thing that Shuu and Minato had learned so many years ago but with experient successfulness and also complete harmony. And this time, it’s 100% their secret only, taking place at night without the knowledge of anybody, with no audience, no parents and no teacher.
It’s… too much, lmao. In every sense. Shuu literally stands no fucking chance next to Masaki and I love it. *broadcast lady voice* Fujiwara Shuu. Repeating; Fujiwara Shuu. Your wife Senichi is waiting for you at Kirisaki High.
And of course, the chapter had to be closed with a finishing blow. God fucking dammit. Minato packing coffee to share with Masaki would have been enough, but nay, Masaki also had to bring the fucking oyaki. From the fact that they’ve had oyaki together before at the shrine and that these oyaki are from the bakery where Minato had bought the cinnamon rolls without a second thought, it’s sort of really obvious that Masaki bought them to eat together with him.
I didn’t ask for any of this and now I need to lie the fuck down.

INAZUMA DOUJINSHI LIST
So the 3 giveway winners can choose their top 10 (though I may only send 6, depending on what’s chosen). Note: Any doujin with *** means I’m unfortunately not willing to part with the real thing, but I’ll send you a scanned version. I’ll send translations along with each one. If a doujin on this list has no summary, it means I haven’t read it yet – but I can give you a summary if you’re interested.
Doujins can get pretty crazy…
1 I Will Only Love You – Tenma x Kyousuke – 3 short stories about KyouTen: Tenma wants to touch Tsurugi and cuddle and is upset when Tsurugi won’t
2 I Kinda Went Pretty Far – Chrono Stone: It’s like the characters are commenting on the Chrono Stone games. Kariya wonders about a mixi max, Taiyou strikes a cute cat pose, Shuu adds pictures to his uniform collection, and Kirino wants to move to the dinosaur era to live with his cute Shindou…
3 My Kouhai is So Cute It’s Dangerous – Yukimura x Adult! Fubuki: Fubuki asks Yukimura to wear girl’s underwear R18 shotacon (Note: very cute artwork but you feel pretty perverted reading it…)
4 Teach Me a Rich Life – Kariya & Kirino & Shindou – When Shindou invites Kirino over to his house, Kariya wants to tag along. Shindou and Kirino treat Kariya to how the rich live
5 SEED and the Beast – Teikoku and Hakuren (GO): Yukimura is a tsundere with his Captain, and at Teikoku Kidou orders Miyabino to speak and act more respectfully around Captain Mikado, to the small first year’s annoyance
6 Crossdressing Boy – Sakuma x Genda: I don’t know the actual name, but I really like this one. I recommend it to any GenSaku fan. Sakuma and Genda are dormmates at Teikoku, and after Kidou left Sakuma becomes very touchy-feely to Genda. It’s cute seeing Sakuma the one all over Genda, when it’s normally the other way around. Also involves Sakuma masturbating to a sleeping Genda while cross-dressing. That part was less cute unless you’re into that R18
7 Unknown Title – Kurama & Hayami & Hamano: Three of them reminisce about the first time they went on their first errand when they were 5 years old. Pretty cute. There’s a funny scene at the end
8 Play time is over! - Kurama & Hayami & Hamano: Really long doujin about the second-year trio. Tsurugi and Kirino also make an appearance. There’s a lot of pages, so if you like long doujins this is good
***9 With A Kind Person – Kitten! Tenma & Shindou, Tsurugi: How Tsurugi reacts after Tenma and Shindou are turned into kittens. Tsurugi tries to forgive himself for how he acted as a Seed
10 Raimon Chit Chat – Raimon (GO): Sakuma and Miyabino visit to give Raimon special training, then treat them and Kidou to ramen afterwards. Tenma messes around with Tsurugi
11 School Life with You – Girl! Kurama x Hamano: In Story 1 Hamano keeps bugging Kurama by sending badly-drawn pics, and in Story 2 Kurama receives a love letter which makes Hayami and Hamano curious
12 Gears of Love – Adult! Genda & Sakuma, Kirino x Shindou: Kirino’s too shy to confess to Shindou, but with some advice from short-haired Sakuma he makes his choice
13 Best Lovers – Genda x Sakuma: Cute doujin about GenSaku’s cute relationship. Very, very cute. Sakuma’s casual clothes are cool… R18
14 Your Father’s in the Way – Asurei & Fei & Saru: Pretty much what the title says. Saru’s trying to hang out with Fei, but Fei is conscious of his father. The art style is very similar to the show and the reason I bought it is because the artist is that Pixiv artist who draws all those show-style Inazuma pictures, Mizauhara Aki. Fei is extremely adorable here
15 Sweet Dancing – Crossdressing! Kirino x Sangoku: Sangoku asks his boyfriend Kirino to crossdress R18 (Note: Very pretty art. I think even if you don’t like the pairing you can appreciate how pretty Kirino looks here…)
16 We Love Coach Endou! – Raimon (GO): How the Raimon team react after Endou joins… Endou’s past has been a teensy bit exaggerated. In any case, all of them want attention from Coach Endou. Endou used to help Kazemaru tie back his hair?
17 You and Me etc: Kirino is embarrassed that he’s so turned on by touching his own nipples, which he shyly confesses to Shindou. Then he, Shindou and Tenma masturbate to each other R18 (Note: main pairing is Shindou x Tenma, with Kirino masturbating)
18 Terminus – Aphrodi: Aphrodi is forcing himself on Endou for some reason R18
19 You can Drink when you’re 20 – Aphrodi & Burn & Gazel: Aphrodi (who for some reason dresses like a girl on days off) asks Gazel and Burn to have snacks with him. This one is too unbearably cute for words. Aphrodi and Gazel are so cute I can’t. Aphrodi is the best part about this one so I recommend it to people who like seeing Aphrodi being a cute tease (and wearing girly clothes)
20 Dear My Hero – Minamisawa & Kurama: The reason Kurama joined Raimon is because he looked up to his idol Minamisawa… MinaKura
21 The War on Saturday – Kishibe & Sousuke
***22 Let’s go to the Aquarium on Sunday – Kirino & Kariya & Shindou: Shindou and Kirino invite a reluctant Kariya to the aquarium. Kariya tries to act up, but two continue to act parent-like
23 A Real Place – Tenma & Taiyou: Tenma visits Taiyou in hospital and brings cake. So unbearable cute it could give you diabetes. Taiyou stop being so cute
24 6 Minutes – Minamisawa & Kurama: Collection of MinaKura stories. The layout of this doujin alone is so incredibly pretty. It has the prettiest cover design I’ve ever seen. If you don’t own many doujins, it’s almost worth to look at this just for the cover and inside pages
25 Hurry Back Home – Minamisawa & Kurama: Kurama confronts Minamisawa after the match against Gassan Kunimistsu. Kurama misses him… MinaKura
26 Flowers and Everyone – Minamisawa & Kurama
27 I’ll Probably Drive – Kishibe x Sousuke
28 Let’s Play Dirty – Kirino & Shindou: Oh God. This one’s kinky. I’d rather give it away to the first person who wants it. Please someone take it away from me. But I should warn you, it’s hella kinky. That’s all I can say… R18
29 ***My senpai lives in Yamagata so I’m going to meet him on the overnight Bus – Kurama & Minamisawa: THIS ONE IS SO CUTE! Minamisawa asks Kurama to come visit him in Yamagata, so Kurama has to take the overnight bus there. It reminds me of very ‘typical’ Japanese life – conbini, pazu no pan, the overnight bus…
30 The Weather is Good Today – Fei Rune
31 24 Hours, 24 People – Coach Kudou & shotas (Original and GO): Collection of sketches featuring Raimon and coach Kudou in cute situations SFW
32 Clumsy – Kishibe & Sousuke
33 Why are you doing this to me? – Kurama & Kirino: Kurama is sick so Kirino is sent over to ‘take care of him’ R18 (note: art style is pretty crazy)

Buy me a coffee
“Just tea, huh…?”
Kaneko blinked at the bright sunlight and looked up at her friend. “Oh, yes… I don’t know, I’m not really in the mood for coffee lately.” Did he… no. No she shouldn’t make any presumptions, Tsukiyama was a very kind person but he was a bit dense at times and she doubted that he was that aware of what happened around him.
“Well that happens, I mean you probably had enough of coffee during the exam phase, studying in the library until late at night can be -”
“I’m pregnant.”
“... oh?”
Oh? That was all he had to say?
“Does the father know -”
“... no.” It felt odd to admit it. “It was a one night stand… a mistake… I got reckless, you know you always hear people talking about how great sex is but nobody really teaches you a thing about it…” Almost instinctively she gently caressed the light bump under her shirt. “But I don’t think I’ll keep it. I can’t take care of myself and a baby… it wouldn’t be fair for either of us and I’m alone. I don’t even know its father’s name so I think I’ll -”
“Move in with me.”
“Excuse me?” She almost dropped the cup she was holding in her hands as her heart skipped a beat. “You’re not serious now are…? You really…?”
“Well, we used to live together during High School when my family still took care of you, so it’s just like going back to as things were before, I mean only if you want to.” A warm smile formed on his lips as he gently patted her head. “You’ve always been a part of my life, I can’t just ignore that now that you need me more than ever before.”
There were words lingering on her tongue, a storm raged inside of her head and she felt how her chest tightened. She knew that there was no way in which she could ever repay him or his family for their kindness, but at the same time Kaneko also knew that she needed his help, there was no way pride would stop her.
“Thank you so much -”
The young man laughed and patted her back as she hugged him tightly. “There there… no need to cry, you’re not alone. Neither of you…” He cupped her cheeks and laughed. “Didn’t I promise to be your knight?”
“You did.” Years ago, a promise he made as a child, but she never thought he’d actually keep it. When they were kids it made here happy, as a teenager she thought of it as cheesy, but now all she felt was gratitude. “... you’re more than knight… you’re my best friend…”

When he said moving in all she could think of was moving into his apartment, she didn’t think that he meant moving into a new house with her. Did he…? Kaneko felt odd, did he just do it because she was pregnant…? Was she nothing but a burden to the Tsukiyama family?
“Do you like it?” Shuu stepped out of the house, wearing an old pair of jeans and a worn out t-shirt, he insisted on doing the renovations all by himself, with just a little help by his friends. Which in the end meant that Banjou had to carry all the furniture and put together what wasn’t ready yet, while Hinami helped Shuu cleaning and painting the walls.
“... I do…” But no matter how happy she should be, she didn’t feel anything but guilt. “I’m sorry for being such a burden to all of you…” Her hands were shaking as she dug her fingers deep into her jacket, trying to hold back the tears.
“You’re not a burden.”
She felt a large hand gently patting her head, it wasn’t Tsukiyama, he had smaller hands, delicate ones. Kaneko sniffled and looked up. “But… Yomo-san I-”
The man just shook his head and smiled at her. “Trust me. We care about you and being able to help you now is all that matters.” He picked up the remaining boxes with Kaneko’s belongings up and carried them inside the house, Shuu lingered in the doorframe watching his friend.
“He’s right you know? I talked to papa, it was time for me to move into my own house anyway. My landlord didn’t allow me to adopt a pet… and I always wanted a cat.” But she could tell that he was lying, not that he didn’t want a cat, it was just that she knew him well enough to be able to tell whether or not he was honest. “I also told him that you’re moving in with me.”
“D-Does he know?” Cold sweat ran down her spine, she felt as if her heart was going to break, did she let him down? Mirumo-san took care of her when she lost her mother, he raised her as if she was his own child, made sure she had the best chances to build a secure future for herself and now this…
“He does!” A warm smile formed on his lips. “He is really looking forward to finally holding his first grandchild in his arms… Papa knows that I’m not the father, but you’re a part of our family.”
It rained again, huh? It was such a beautiful warm and sunny day and yet it rained. Once the rain stopped she looked at Shuu who was still waiting for her.
“Now come in.”
Stepping over the threshold would mean it was really her new home now. Stepping over it meant that the impulsive thought, the naive idea her friend had would become reality. If he was really ready for this…? They could still back out, he didn’t need to do this, but seeing him extending his hand to her, offering to take this step with her made her finally take the first step towards their future.
“So…?” Not that he wanted to be pushy about hearing her opinion, but he spent a lot time renovating the house, making it pretty and cozy so she’d feel at home, at peace. All he wanted was for her to have a place she could always return to, a place that always reminded her of the fact that people loved her, a place where she could see herself raising her child in.
“It’s beautiful…” Now there was the enthusiasm they both missed in the beginning. The house was large, big enough for them, the baby, and their friends, it was open and welcoming. Tsukiyama made sure to add a touch of home to it, with decorations and flowers everywhere, he even put up frames with pictures of them and their friends. … so this is what a home felt like… the Tsukiyamas were always kind to her, but it felt as if she was an intruder in their home.
Now she had a home of her own, surrounded by people she loved.
“I have something to show you!” Shuu took her hand and led her upstairs, his hands were so warm, a little dried out from all the work he did… but warm. “This is your bedroom! I painted it in your favourite colour.”
Pastel blue and white looked so nice together. Her bed was large enough for her and another person… she could already see herself lying on that bed with her baby. There was a small corner she could use as workspace, plenty of room for books and clothes. “Thank you. It’s beautiful.”
“Oh! That’s not all!” No no, there was something by far more important for her to see. “Close your eyes…” And she did, his heart jumped realising how much she trusted them. “Carefully…”
Where did they go…? The house still faintly smelled like fresh paint, but also as if a little fairy took her time to clean it. They stopped, she felt another threshold below her feet, so it was another room? “Can I open my eyes now?”
“Yes! Please.”
Why was he so excited - “Oh my God!” It was a child’s bedroom, painted in gentle blues, purples and pinks, a little green here and there. “You… drew my baby…?” The biggest wall was decorated with a scenery from a rainy day that was yet to come, a child in a sunflower yellow raincoat was playing in the rain, surrounded by beautiful hydrangeas. “It’s wonderful…” Kaneko gently caressed her tummy while looking around. “There are so many beautiful things waiting for you… are you looking forward to it? I am… I can’t wait for you to see it.”
… was she happy now? Shuu felt his heart ache watching her, not that it was because he was sad, maybe he was just moved. It felt as if she finally accepted that she would be a mother, now it was real, wasn’t it? All of the sudden he realised what kind of responsibility they had now, this little human that was growing inside of his best friend needed both of them. Their mother and their uncle, they needed to protect the baby, make sure it would grow up happy, sheltered and loved.
It was lot of responsibility for the two of them, but in the end it wasn’t just them, they had his father, their friends and most importantly the baby. Even though it would mean a lot of work, hardships and all the struggles that came with parenting, there would also be moments in which they would forget about all of that.
“Shuu! Kaneko!”
“Oh, the little lady calls, let’s go. She made dinner for everyone.”
Kaneko took her time, Shuu wasn’t the only one who was confronted with the reality of things. She sat down in the chair next to the baby’s bed, she gently rocked it and then sighed. “What do you think, little one? How will our future look like?”
Nothing was certain at this point. Well one thing was… her future was brighter than expected thanks to her friends, especially Tsukiyama.
