there's a cherry blossom tree in DC that keeps blooming every year even though it shouldn't and the park service keeps thinking it's dead and then it keeps blooming! well they're removing a lot of trees to rehabilitate the area and they've said it's finally time for stumpy to go and they're going to mulch it and use the mulch to enrich all the other trees so it can help everything else keep going. and they're also going to plant spliced little pieces of it all over so that stumpy can live forever and this is genuinely sending me into a spiral

Here are Diphylleia's colour palettes! ( ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ)

Although the assignment only called for four colour palette's, I ended up making five (almost six) because I wasn't a fan of the first two colour palettes (×_×)

The first palette was made solely from colours my younger sibling suggested! I remember it took me most of the day trying to work the colours around to make something I at least liked a little (╥ ω ╥)

The second one was meant to evoke the idea of a sunny, tropical beach, but the colours kind of hurt my eyes a little (× ⋂ ×)

The third one was an unexpected one! It's a darker palette meant to reflect how she was a pirate who controlled situations through fear back when she was alive! Although it makes her look a bit like Midnight Sparkle, I do really like this one.

The fourth palette is an almost entirely blue colour palette meant to play on the fact that when diphylleia flowers get wet, their petals become transluscent, so a blue colour palette in an ocean would make her nearly invisible! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

The last one is a purely self-indulgent pastel colour palette since it was what I originally envisioned for Diphylleia XDD
