I have a lot of scatterbrained design notes for each of them but generally I wanted them to look similar to their original designs but with different themes. I also imagine that they have the same inscribing tools as their original counterparts but just use them differently (i.e. Magnificus paints animals, Leshy takes pictures of people as they're dying/about to die, I'm not sure what the magic equivalent for P03 would be besides maybe a spellbook that copies the essence of things, and Grimora's quill would either "write" code or write directly onto the hardware of robots).

I would like more fics where Eddie is prone to getting zoomies because things were Very! Good! So he's gotta get up and do stuff or bounce or shred things or just loop the building or something. And before Steve really catches on to why he wants to give Eddie the zoomies, its just a kinda game. Where Steve is trying to provoke Eddie into giving into the instinct, and Eddie is clinging to control because there is no way he is going to let Steve find out that blood carbonates whenever Steve compliments him or gives him a present or sometimes just smiles at him all pretty.

Eddie doesn't make Steve stop because the longer he holds out, the more Steve tries, and that's awesome. And Steve doesn't stop the game, because the longer Eddie holds back, the more adorably ridiculous the run around becomes.

And yes, this is bc of that ficlet by @steddiealltheway a few days ago.

Me: I’m okay at it. Where beetle?

*three minutes later*

Me: *holding out 2" beetle* Oh, this is a California root borer, Prionus californicus! One of our largest native beetles. You only see them in August when they emerge to mate. This one is female, she has smooth antennae. Look at her big mandibles for digging!

Coworker: *observing mandibles from about 10 feet away* I can’t believe you just picked up a strange beetle like that.

Me: Well, she isn’t strange to me.
