Fit: I would never hit my own children. My own biological children. I would never hit my own children, but these little bastards– [he kills a "Snot" a child-like mob] Fair game, fair game. [Fit looks at Ramon] Well, ok, biological or adopted, it doesn't matter. My children I would never hit my children.
Fit: See, now I just opened up a can of worms– now someone's like "Ramon's your biological child???" So what if he is? So what if he is, huh? [Reading chat] No I'm not a bird, I didn't lay Ramon. That sounds painful. That sounds extremely painful.
[QSMP kicks him off the server]
Fit: You know, and– literally because we're having this conversation right now, the QSMP admins were like "Uhh, no, we gotta restart the server. Fit's talking about pushing eggs out of his ass."

Hi! Can you do Clem, Lee, Luke, Javier, Kate, and Gabe with a drop dead gorgeous s/o that doesn't believe they're beautiful at all? Like they attract and receive alot of compliments from others but they just don't see it?
OH I need some good self-love fics to perk my mood let's do this
Clementine: Clem’s favorite moment of the day was always when Y/N first woke up and came outside. Their eyes were always thick with sleep, and they moved slowly and meekly. Clem loved it. “You look lovely,” she said, handing Y/N a fresh cup of coffee. Y/N scoffed. “Thanks,” was the only response. Clementine just tilted her head, confused, but more so amazed.”I’ll have to give you more compliments then.” “What?” Y/N asked, swinging around. They could tell that Clementine was being cheeky based on her smirk. “So you’ll know it.” Clem continued. “I’ll just have to compliment you more so you know it. And never forget it.” Y/N could feel their cheeks burn, but quickly turned away, too embarrassed for her to see that her attempt at flirting had worked.
Lee: Lee tended to be a gentle giant around his partner. He was better at showing affection by doing, rather than saying. “You look wonderful this morning,” he said one day, walking toward the kitchen. Y/N didn’t respond. Without leaving the room, Lee lingered in the doorway. “Y/N?” “Hm?” They chirped back. “I said, you look beautiful.” “I heard you.” Lee raised a brow and waited until Y/N turned to look at him. “What?” “Why don’t you ever like it when I compliment you? Don’t you want to know how much I love you?” Suddenly, Y/N’s face flushed red, stunned by the sudden confession. “Lee…” After a beat of silence, he smirked. “Finally. I missed seeing you blush.” Then, he left, leaving Y/N in a fit of flustered rage.
Luke: Luke tended to shower his partner with compliments, no matter the setting or who was around. He didn’t care who knew that he adored them, but he cared that Y/N knew most of all. “Hey beautiful,” he said sweetly. Y/N hummed in response, too focused on cooking to think of anything else. Luke raised a brow. “Hello?” “Yeah?” Y/N responded Y/N was often so preoccupied with doing a million other things, they seldom understood the sweetness. “Did you hear me?” “Yes, thank you.” Luke paused, then scoffed. “Thank you? Really?” Finally, Y/N stopped and turned, raising a brow. Before they could say anything, Luke dipped in to kiss them on the cheek. “I know that one will getcha,” he said, swiftly leaving. It did. Y/N was left flustered and frozen.
Javier: Javier often gave small, regular means of showing affection. A brief squeeze of the hand, a kiss on the head as he passed by, insisting on greeting them whenever they entered a room. He made points to compliment them, but often when he was in a run. That being said, it usually meant he was unable to stay to see their reaction. “Look at you,” he said, emphasizing every word. “Morning.” He slipped up behind Y/N - in the process of making their breakfasts - and planted a kiss on the back of their head. Y/N hummed in response. Javier paused, noticing how their expression didn’t shift one way or the other. “What’s up?” “What do you mean?” Y/N didn’t turn away from their task. “Why aren’t you reacting to any of my compliments?” Y/N turned, eyebrow raised, finally setting down their utensils. Quickly, Javier leaned in and planted a kiss on their lips. “You look pretty today.” Instantly, Y/N’s entire face flushed and Javier smirked. “That is what I was looking for.” Y/N shoved him playfully, turning away with a giant grin. Sometimes, they hated how clever he could be.
Kate: Kate had a habit of always complimenting people she loved. Her partner was never an exception. “Good morning!” She always chirped. “You look nice today.” Y/N hummed happily in response but gave no other indication. Kate paused. “I said, you look nice. Today.” She decided to place further emphasis on every other word. “Thanks, hon.” was all they said back. Kate raised a brow and purposely wandered in front of them. Y/N was sitting on a couch, cleaning some of the tools they would require later in the week. Finally seeing Kate in front of them, they paused. Kate knelt, finally meeting them at eye level, and placed her hands on each of their cheeks. “You need to allow me to compliment you, and I need to know that you believe it.” She was sick of her praises going unanswered. With her hands in place, she could feel their cheeks warm out of embarrassment. She smiled and placed a kiss on their forehead. “That’s what I thought. Just wanted confirmation.” Then, she wandered away, leaving them in a cloud of flustered dust.
Gabe: Gabe tended to constantly fawn over his partner. Y/N didn’t mind, unless they were deep in thought, or truly focused. “Look at you,” Gabe said, wandering into the courtyard. Y/N was chopping up food for their meal later in the day. Y/N scoffed. “Whatever,” they said through a giggle. He only ever just wanted a reaction out of them. “No, I mean it!” He insisted, eyes big and wide. He extended his arms like he always did whenever he was expecting them to love something he said. “Why don’t you ever let me just admire you?” But as he spoke, Y/N could feel the sincerity in his eyes and soften, dropping the axe to the ground. “Really?” was all they said softly. Suddenly, both of them were blushing. Who knew how such a silly moment could turn into something so genuine?

I have something I wanna share and get my readers' opinions on, which I'll put underneath the cut since I unsurprisingly wrote a lot as per usual lol
I now have an incredibly strong urge to make soulmates a thing in Twisted Wonderland since I am such a sucker for that trope.
However, rather than romantic soulmates, I just love the idea of platonic soulmates: people whom you can trust more than anyone - who will always make you feel safe and accepted - who understand you as well as they understand themselves.
It's a love that's different from the love shared between lovers, friends, and family because of that deep soul connection that can't even be properly described using words.
For these soulmates, it feels as if they possess a part of each other's souls within their own. That's why they always feel so at peace when they're together, because during that time their souls feel complete.
That said, it's not as if you feel incomplete without your soulmate. It's more like, when you meet them, you finally realize that something has been missing all along, if that makes sense.
So people can live happy, fulfilling lives without having met their soulmates, which is normally how things go in TW cause it's extremely rare for people to actually meet their soulmates.
That's why soulmates are basically considered nothing more than myths by the time Yuu arrives in TW.
Another reason soulmates are rare is because soulmates are normally only a thing for fae, beastmen, and merfolk, so the only time regular humans have a soulmate is when their soulmate happens to be a fae/beastman/merfolk.
As a result, there aren't too many people who believe in the existence of soulmates; pretty much only the old fashioned types, who faithfully pass down the stories of yore that mention soulmates, do.
Anyway, I just love the idea of Yuu having a soulmate, and it just takes a while for this truth to come to light cause people in TW don't typically automatically just know when they've met their soulmate.
That's another reason why soulmates aren't really considered a thing cause most people don't know how to identify them.
When they feel that special draw to their soulmate, they typically just write it off as attraction and won't give it more of a second thought if they happen to cross paths with that person cause that iniital draw won't normally be powerful enough in that first meeting to make them wanna approach their soulmate. That special draw grows stronger the longer you spend time with your soulmate.
Another reason it takes a while for Yuu to discover she has a soulmate is due to her being born in another world since I think that would have an effect on the soul bond, but thankfully, not a a permanent one. It would just take a while for that soul bond to be at the strength it would normally be if Yuu grew up in TW.
I also love the idea of fae/beastmen/merfolk in the past each having their own ways to recognizing their soulmates. For example, you can tell if someone is your soulmate if your soul has a visceral reaction to you hearing them sing for the first time.
That would explain why it'd take so long for Yuu's soulmate to recognize the soul bond between them since Yuu has never sung around her fae/beastmen/merfolk friends.
Anyway, I just really love the idea of concept of soulmates, and I'd love to include that in the "A Twisted Future" series by giving Yuu a soulmate since I can think of one character in particular whom I think would fit perfectly into that kinda category based on how I've written him thus far.
However, I'm slightly reluctant to do it since people might think it feels forced or doesn't really mesh well with what I've written so far/with the TWST world/story as a whole, so I just wanted to see what my readers thought of this idea.
Whether it's via asks or replies to this post, please let me know what y'all think! I'd really appreciate your feedback! ^^

Sebastian stood by the hotel pool, a towel casually wrapped around his hips, exposing his massive body to the sun. His muscles were incredibly well-defined—every part of his body looked as though it had been carefully sculpted by an artist obsessed with perfection. Tourists around him stared, some in admiration, others in silent awe, but he ignored all their glances. He was used to this kind of attention.
Among the guests was a man named Leo, tall and athletic, who had noticed Sebastian the moment he saw him at the reception. Leo was no stranger to people with strong physiques—he was a trainer himself—but Sebastian was something else entirely. His presence was so powerful that Leo felt a strange tension whenever he saw him. On one hand, he was drawn to Sebastian’s undeniable physique, but at the same time, his arrogant attitude rubbed him the wrong way.
One evening, as the sun was setting, Leo finally worked up the nerve to approach Sebastian. “Hey, man,” he said, relaxed and slightly amused, “you must be one of those fitness models, right? Where do you get the inspiration for that… over-the-top body?”
Sebastian merely smirked, sizing Leo up with his eyes. “This,” he gestured at his body, “isn’t just about inspiration. It’s about commitment and discipline, something you’d never understand.”
Leo laughed and shook his head. “Really? Because I’m more interested in whether all of this is some kind of trick. Nobody can look like that just from training.”
Sebastian’s eyes hardened, but he didn’t answer. Instead, he just looked at Leo with disdain, as if he were beneath him. Leo noticed this and felt his curiosity grow into a sense of competition. “So, big guy,” he challenged him, “how about we find out who’s really strong?”
Later that evening, they met at the hotel gym, where they were alone. Leo grabbed heavy weights and began lifting with total dedication, watching Sebastian’s reactions, but Sebastian merely leaned against the wall, looking bored. Finally, Sebastian took one of the dumbbells—single-handedly—and lifted it with such ease it might as well have weighed nothing.
“This… isn’t about strength as you know it, Leo,” Sebastian said calmly, but with an icy undertone. “My strength is something you could never comprehend.”
Leo stared at him with growing suspicion. “What’s your deal? Are you some kind of lab experiment or something?”
Sebastian laughed but didn’t answer. Instead, he lifted both dumbbells at once and performed a series of reps that would have exhausted a regular person long ago. When he finished, his muscles were taut, every fiber pumped and ready for more. His body radiated an incredible power that was almost tangible.
Leo felt a strange mix of fascination and fear. “Alright, I get it. You’ve got something different in you… something that’s not quite natural,” he said, this time with more seriousness. “But what’s the point? Is it just for people’s attention?”
Sebastian frowned, showing a rare hint of vulnerability for the first time. “I have what I’ve always wanted—strength, control. But you… you have no right to judge what it cost me.”
Leo studied him for a moment. “Man, maybe you have everything you ever dreamed of, but you don’t look happy. Strength is only part of the story. What if all of this is just an illusion that ends up consuming you?”
Sebastian’s eyes met Leo’s, and something in his gaze shifted. For a brief moment, it wasn’t just arrogance and superiority; there was a shadow of doubt. But it lasted only a second. He quickly regained his composure, nodded, and left without saying another word.
A few days later, Leo learned about a strange project being conducted at a nearby research lab. Rumor had it that they were working on experiments with genetic modifications and nanotechnology-based substances. Leo began to realize that Sebastian’s body and strength might be the result of something much darker than it seemed at first glance.
He decided to confront Sebastian. He knew it could be risky, but he needed to know the truth. “Sebastian,” he said firmly when he found him by the pool, “I know you went through something… unusual. Maybe there’s more to your strength than you’re willing to admit.”
Sebastian looked at him for a long time and finally just frowned. “Does it matter?”
Leo smiled. “Yes, because anyone who goes through something like that bears a burden. And maybe you’re missing what all of this could cause—what it’s doing to you.”
Sebastian stood still for a moment, then turned toward the pool, his gaze drifting off into the distance. “Everything has a price,” he muttered at last. “But I’m prepared to pay it.”
Leo watched him in silence, feeling that his rival was hiding something much deeper than simple arrogance. Perhaps he was right—perhaps his strength was an illusion that would eventually consume him. But Sebastian showed no signs of fear.

Authors note: Submission for cfwc You go girls event. Prompt used is offering career advice
💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡
To Dr Ramsey,
As you are aware, my parting gift to the hospital when I step down as CEO later this year is a clinic based in one of the more working class areas of Boston where there is a large population that is ethnically and culturally diverse. The main focus of this clinic is to focus on Women’s health, family planning, education and health clinic for those who identify as LGBTQI+, as well as general health practices.
Given your current Advocacy work in the Women’s health and LGBTQI+ space, I am pleased to offer you the position of Director of the Delores Hudson Women’s and Community Health Clinic.
The offer is attached. I am giving you two weeks to think it over and for you to give me your final reply.
Regards
Caroline Bloom
CEO Edenbrook Hospital
Casey sits there stunned. She knew that there was going to be a new clinic and she knew it was going to be named after Delores, but director?
The team under her and Aurora’s leadership over the last two years had gone from strength to strength, the research arm overseen by Tobias was going great also.
The offer was generous, but she was still not sure if she was the right person. Yes she had done advocacy work within the lgbtqi+ and women’s health space but a white woman directing a health clinic in an area where she was the minority?
Casey was deep in thought when Aurora entered.
“What’s up Casey?” Aurora asked.
Casey startled and then calmed down.
“Sorry, was just in thought” said Casey.
“About the case?”
Casey shakes her head and shows Aurora the email.
“Oh my gosh Casey!!!” Exclaims Aurora, “this would be an awesome opportunity.”
“I know it is but a great one but answer me honestly. Would teenaged you or heavily pregnant you be willing to accept medical assistance from someone like myself?”
“I get where you are coming from but you do have a good profile within the community for the work you have done and continue to do.”
“That is true but will it be enough…”
“When do you need to give Caroline your answer?”
“Two weeks”
“My thoughts, have a think, have a chat although I know Ethan will say to take it but I really think you will do well.”
Casey however was not so sure. She did have a good reputation sure but was that enough. Casey wanted the endeavour to succeed.
A few days later she had her regular meet up with Tobias. He already knew of the offer from Ethan and if Tobias was being honest, he was surprised that Casey was unsure of taking the position. He knew that she would do a great job so when Casey asked him if Aurora would be a good fit for the role he was surprised. His initial reaction was why am I being asked.
Casey stated that you worked with Aurora at Kenmore, you have worked with her here, you saw first hand how she did in a leadership role last year when I was on maternity leave so you would be a good person to ask. And besides if I am going to decline and send a recommendation for whom I think should be in the role then it would look good if there is another endorsement. Tobias saw Casey’s point but he thought that the clinic would be a success but he also agreed that Aurora would be a good fit too.
Casey then thought some more and she was convinced that Aurora would be a better fit. She met with Aurora a few days before her answer was due.
“I have thought long and hard, discussed, written a pros and cons list, you name it I have done it. I have decided not to take the role. I will be recommending that you get offered the position”
Aurora was shocked.
“I was sure you would take the position. What swayed you?”
“I feel the clinic will have more success if there is people running and on staff that are more representative of the area we are going into. Where the clinic is, I am a minority, yes I have done much work in the women’s health and LGBTQI space which would make people receptive but you have a good reputation in the same areas also but I think with you at the helm, you will attract not only the clientele but also doctors who are culturally diverse and fit in better with the area we are going into.”
Aurora reflects on Casey’s words. She does agree with her that she too has a good reputation in the field but it is one thing being team leader for six months and running a clinic full time.
“Am I experienced enough, running a team for six months is different to running and building a clinic up full time.”
“I get where you are coming from, we all remember how I was when I was initially offered the team. I think you are ready. I will be willing to help and also work some time at the clinic as I think it will work well in the rotation. Other doctors in the hospital I am sure will be willing to offer advice and help also.”
“This is true…”
“You are not the woman I met in residency Aurora, the woman eager to escape the legacy of Harper and was convinced everyone only wanted you because of her.”
Aurora smiled.
“So I will be turning down the position but recommend that you be offered it and Tobias will also be sending in his recommendation for you also.”
Later that day Casey sent the following email to Caroline.
To Caroline
Thank you for the generous offer of employment as Director of the Delores Hudson Women’s and Community Health clinic.
After much deliberation I will be declining the offer.
I feel this endeavour will be more successful under the directorship of Dr Aurora Emery.
Again thank you for considering me and I look forward to working with the director of this endeavour, whomever it may be.
Regards,
Dr Casey Ramsey
Director Diagnostics team, Naveen Banerji Community Health Clinic, Edenbrook.
Caroline received the email from Casey and the accompanying one from Dr Carrick. If Caroline was honest, Aurora was someone she had considered also, but Casey won out to be offered the position first.
Caroline got to amending the offer and sent it to Aurora, like Casey giving her two weeks to think before deciding.
Two days later Aurora accepts the offer. She is excited for the opportunity and so is Casey.
——-
Authors note: The clinic is a huge success. Most of the staff is reflective of the area. Casey does some work at the clinic also, especially in the Advocacy space. The clinic when it is fully established is added into the clinical rotation and the residents really enjoy the differing perspectives and challenges that arise from working with culturally diverse staff and clientele.
The clinic was named after Delores at Ethan’s request and with permission from Alma. Ethan did not want her death to be in vain, Delores also lived near the area that the clinic is situated so it seemed fitting.
Caroline is well into her seventies when she retires. She retires so she can enjoy life instead of just working.

BOMB RUSH CYBERFUNK HEADCANONS: FRANKS EDITION
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Headcanon Directory >>
> As we know, Versum Hill is their turf. They're base is that basketball court, which they're chill with people coming to play some skremish rounds :]
> However, below ground through a manhole is their exclusive hideout. This is also the location of Flesh Prince's workshop
> The group is comprised of 5 members: Ab, Femur, Pec, and Bicep. Flesh Prince is their leader.
> The other 4 members are all grown adult men in their 30s, listening to the whims of a 16 year old kid
> They know about Prince's story (see Flesh Prince headcanons through the above directory) and honestly, they've adopted him as their collective son
> That being said, Prince still absolutely calls the shots.
> They all met Prince one way or another through his underground body manipulation business. Prince will do procedures no one else will, and gets paid a pretty penny to do it.
> Most of the respect for Prince however, comes from the fact that he does it right. He takes genuine care, and demands regular check ups with his clients to ensure that everything is going smoothly.
> Also, if you want a part from a specific... donor. He's got connections to make that happen.
> A seller once tried to sell him the arm of a famous recently deceased baseball player, and when Prince figured out that it was just some regular person's arm, he threw a FIT. "I've been waiting 3 DAMN WEEKS FOR THIS AND YOU BRING ME A FRAUD?! My boy Pec has been patiently waiting without an arm for a month and you WASTE MY TIME WITH THIS?! I oughtta take your HEADS and make MINCEMEAT outta the LEFTOVERS!!!"
> Needless to say, Prince cares deeply for his boys
> They care for him too!
> After an incident where Prince had an allergic reaction and his epipen broke, the members of the crew decided that they should all always have an epipen and inhaler on them so something like never happens again. Prince doesn't know about this agreement
> Prince is the only one who lives at the base. Though sometimes some of the others will crash there for the night
> overall, they're one of the more chill gangs to hang with!

Tag! If you would like, please tell me about your Courier and F:NV run decisions -- and DLCs as well, if you'd like! Did you have a favored home base in the game? Creepiest location?
Thank you Syrup from the past whose question I definitely didn't never actually answer publicly hahaaaaaa sorry friend! I appreciate it <3
My courier is actually a repurposed Killjoy OC of mine from several thousand internet years ago; she isn't my only courier but she was the first one I played, & only one I’ve finished the game as so far Her name is Violet! her hair’s blue and she does have pronouns.
She worked out an Independent Vegas with no treaty between the NCR and the Vegas gangs. (It annoys both my storytelling sensibilities and my like 'interpreting political messages in video games' sensibilities that the "best" ending is the 'Annex everything to the sci fi-US government" one but ANYWAY) Tried to solve problems diplomatically, but when she can’t, shoot them with a multiplasma rifle and cause chain reactions until they melt down into radioactive goo. As one does
In the DLCs: she tends towards the choices that kept the most people alive. Example: I flat-out didn’t know that we could talk Ulyesses out of the whole ‘nuke half the desert from orbit’ plan, if I could I would’ve spared him. As it was, decided to shut the facility down & let our brave robot friend make his sacrifice honourably. And I only cried about it a little bit! Ignoring ‘Honest Hearts’ bc it is both bad and stupid; I still haven’t played Old World Blues, but I’d like to! Whenever I hear something about that one I think, “Okay, this has to be the weirdest and horniest thing in the add-on” but somehow I have been wrong every time so far. x)
- I had two (2) favourite home bases actually! The first one was our hotel room in Novac. The second was the luxury suite in the Lucky 38, both bc I’m a sucker for The Drama and bc I can fit all of our friends in there with things I gave them. I liked setting up the ‘canteen’-type area in the kitchen and, like, isolate different parts of my inventory in different fridges. Like, “This is where the soda and street food goes! And this one’s for the medicine and the bombs c: “ We had at least three coffee tins and pots at a time, everyone got their own cups. And one (1) teddy bear per friend, bc I’m not a monster
- Creepiest location in the general game for me is Searchlight, for sure. It’s so avoidable and so fucking sad. And, like, one of the ways that the game used toxic waste as not just a backdrop or funny status effect but part of the plot, and how horrifying it is as a weapon. The soldier we meet there who’s ghoulified?? I’ve said this somewhere before but man I love when the game remembers it’s a sci-fi story. - Creepiest place including the DLCs would be the Sierra Madre! Dead Money is my favourite for a reason. The sheer body horror & regular horror of the ghosts. Some of the same as Searchlight as well; the place itself, the air, is hostile to us; we’re absolutely surrounded by dead; and (stealing a line from a Bioshock post I’ll link w/ I find it), the plot knows what it’s point is. The whole resort was metaphorically and literally broken, from the very beginning and the ground up, and that was what doomed everyone in it.
Also about Dead Money: I appreciated how the reason for the setting made sense. Like w/ playing it I was thinking ’’Oh, vending machines that can print whatever’s needed’’; and then Elijah is like ’’vENDING MACHINES THAT CAN PRINT WHATEVER IS NEEDED!’’ Also Pt II: stuck a grenade in the creepy-ass ghoul singer’s pocket. Arguably most satisfying kaboom in the game. Get smithereened douchebag

TMNT Headcanons - Allergies!
Things the boys are allergic to because I’m lactose intolerant & I still need time to do my requests yet stay active so I'm posting my drafts for the time being LMAO
Leonardo
Tumblr media
Eggs. I don't know why, but I hc that all Leo's are allergic to eggs.
Not that it has a big impact on him, he usually eats traditional Japanese meals. However, some of them do include eggs, so he uses the plant based egg alternative as a placeholder.
Since 2012 Mikey cooks for everyone, he's conscious of the ingredients he puts into the food. If a recipe is egg dominant, like a cake or pasta, he makes a special desert/meal for his big brother. He might make a flourless/egg-less cake, and use chickpea pasta instead of the regular.
Bayverse Leo just omits everything with eggs. For breakfast, he usually reaches for toast anyway.
2012 Leonardo eats a struggle meal at breakfast. Since they're limited to breakfast foods, he usually eats cereal.
P.S: He really likes Special K vanilla and almond cereal. <3
Rise!Leo is the first to actually try and eat it to see how bad his reaction would be. Spoiler: he has to bench in the bed for a week. Yeah, it's that bad. Mix that in with a rash and he's never trying that again.
2007 Leo is more plant-based anyway, since he lived a year in the jungle. So, he's used to not eating anything but fruits or nuts.
Raphael
Tumblr media
This boy is sensitive to milk. It may be because I wanna pass the lactose intolerant torch down to one of the turtles, but I seriously think Raphael does not like dairy milk anyway.
Bayverse & 2007 Raph are seriously into their physique. They have a good balance of meats and veggies, but can’t have dairy milk.
He likes Almond milk.
Not only is almond milk a great alternative for non-dairy drinkers, but you get much more calcium that way!
I also headcanon that although the guys eat pizza all the time like in the shows, Raph is the one who doesn't eat it as much. He's way too into his body to mess up his progress. He eats it in moderation. Plus, cheese is a dairy product, but it doesn't mess him up like dairy milk does.
Rise!Raph is massive, so I imagine a tiny little ounce of cow's milk messing him up to be very fitting.
2012 Raph tries to thug out his milk intolerance, but it never goes well. Long story short, after many days of feeling lethargic and throwing up, he knows better.

SHELLFISH YALL
turtle shell puns aside
Donatello is allergic to shell fish and I feel so bad because I LOVE me some crab.
I just know Raph clowns him for it to and they bicker over which allergy is worse.
R: Don try this Cali roll, oh wait, ya cant!
D: Wow this milkshake is great! have a try raph! oh wait...whoops! I'll just give it to Mikey.
Always always always!
Do not invite him to your takeout sushi shindig, he will not be able to eat anything.
Leo is the one who usually eats fish, so whenever Mikey makes his special plate, Donnie audibly gags. It's not just the fact that he's allergic, it's the smell.
2012 Donnie really hates fighting FishFace because of the smell
it makes him wanna throw up.
So a lot of the times he just wants to get in and get out when a mission involves fighting Xever.
2007 and Bayverse donnie live off of small snacks, so they don't ever have to think about their food containing fish
Rise!Donnie makes this joke everytime he eats goldfish crackers
"Guys look, I'm eating fish," *wiggles eyebrows*

GLUTEN
Now here ya'll go in the comments
bUt MeLanChOLY, MiKeY'S AlWAys EaTinG PiZZa!!!
OKAY!?!!?!?!
Gluten free pizza ;)
No i swear it. He has some sort of intolerance. You know how sometimes you may eat a certain food so much that after a while your body just rejects it?
It's not pizza his body's rejecting though, it's gluten.
So now, he's in a frenzy, when Donnie told him, he gave him a sad puppy-eyed look & said
"So...I can't....have...pizza anymore? For forever??"
He's happy when Donnie says he still can.
They have to order gluten--free pizza now. But rejoice! Times are changing, diet culture is changing, the world is changing! Gluten free options are pretty much everywhere! Woohoo!
I feel like Rise!Mikey is PISSED he can't eat bagels. I feel like he would love a mean everything bagel with cream cheese.
But, do not fear, there are gluten free breads available!
2012 Mikey just gets gluten-free everything now. It's mainly the gluten from bread, but just for fun, he'll get gluten free snacks
2007 & Bayverse Mikey go on strike and try to not eat anymore pizza to see if it'll "reset his body,"
Raph bursts his bubble and let's him now that's not how allergies or intolerances work
"Take it from someone who ain't had milk in years, mikey."

For You (NSFW)
Optimus Prime wasn’t good at confrontation; physical, verbal, emotional- none of it. So, as he stood with his digit hovering over your doorbell, he could feel his spark beating in his throat. His anxiety was killing him, and the part of him that was so anxious was tempted to just turn around and walk away.
He could save it for another night, couldn’t he? ...No, he couldn’t. He’d been telling himself another night, just one more night, next week, later for months now. It was time.
Now or never.
Three, two, one-
With a sharp inhale, Optimus rung your doorbell and wrung his servos together in front of him. He could feel his faceplates burning red with a heavy blush as he waited for you to open the door, but thankfully, he didn’t have to wait for too long.
The door slowly came open, revealing you behind it. You wore a (f/c) robe that was loosely tied, revealing part of the white teddy you wore underneath. It took everything in Optimus to tear his optics away from the beginnings of the chest that he so desperately wanted to bury his faceplates in, but when said optics landed on your face, graced with a sultry smirk and lustful (e/c) eyes, it didn’t help.
You grabbed his servo with one hand and pulled him far enough inside to shut the door behind him before pushing his back against it- and, of course, he let you. The second you went to lean up and kiss him, though, Optimus shook his head and pulled away.
“We can’t keep doing this.”
“You say that every time,” You rebutted and rested your hands on his hips, gently massaging circles into the metal plating with your thumbs.
It was true, and he knew that. Every time after the first time you two had met up like this, he’d argued against it, but you always pulled him right back in with your charm.
“No, I mean it this time,” Optimus stopped you, a bit awkward as he placed a servo on your shoulder and backed himself further up against your door to put some distance between the two of you. He wasn’t ready to do this. He wanted to keep you forever, but it wasn’t fair to you. You deserved better and he needed to tell you the truth. “We need to talk.”
You seemed to know what was coming, so you pulled away and crossed your arms with a huff. Your eyebrows furrowed.
Honestly? The situation was uncomfortable. Optimus could see the candles lit in your house, smell the perfume of yours flooding into his olfactory sensors, and the lingerie under your robe... You’d assumed he was coming over to interface with you like usual, and as much as he wanted to, he used all of his willpower to resist the urge in favor of watching you storm over to the living room couch. You plopped down onto the corner seat in a dramatic fashion with your arms still crossed.
“At least come in and sit down here if you’re going to do this to me tonight, Optimus. I’d rather you not do it in my doorway.”
You knew, and he knew. Shaky in his movements, the Autobot locked your front door and walked over to your couch so he could sit next to you.
Your relationship had always been complicated, to say the least.
It started when him and his team had started battling the Decepticons on earth. With all of the news coverage they received, they were well-known amongst politicians, media outlets, law enforcement, and citizens in Detroit, and the Autobots had not only captured their interests, but yours as well. You were a scientist interested in doing studies on Cybertronian creatures to figure out what they were and how you could apply them and their technology to life on earth. There were plenty in the scientific community who were interested in them, of course, but you were the only one who had written a heartfelt letter about the matter, promising not to do anything too inhumane- the occasional metal sample, recharge studies, strength tests, and so on.
Then again... You’d included a picture of yourself in your first letter to the base, and that may or may not have been what captured Optimus’s attention initially. But then he met you and allowed you to conduct your experiments with Ratchet as your assistant on base, and not only were you gorgeous, but you were smart, creative, kind, easygoing, loving... You were everything Optimus Prime wished he was. So, even when the experiments stopped and you moved onto your next project, you still came around the base and Optimus still came around your house behind his teammates’ backs.
‘Why is she still here, Prime? Her study’s over.’
‘Yes, I know, Ratchet. She’s just... Helping me with some things.’
Ratchet commented on it the most, skeptical as always. Bumblebee always asked where he disappeared to in the middle of the night. Prowl was starting to get concerned by how tired Optimus seemed, and Bulkhead was the one who constantly snapped him out of his lovestruck dazes when he got caught up thinking about you.
The first time Optimus Prime made love to you was still a blur. He had developed feelings rather quickly, but it wasn’t until months of building up the courage to make a move that he’d finally done something; shown up to your house in the middle of the night and taken you into his arms the second you opened the door. It had escalated from there with you wrapping your arms back around him and pushing your lips against his, slamming the door shut behind the two of you and tumbling in a pile of warmth and metal onto your living room floor without any regard to how sore you’d be the next morning.
It had turned into a regular occurrence after that. Optimus showed up to your house, showered you in kisses and praise, and the two of you would interface, no matter how hard he tried to resist. And trust me, he tried to resist because he knew in his spark that it wasn’t right.
You’d shared your hopes and dreams and body with him, and he didn’t want to let all of that go, but how could he love what he didn’t deserve in the first place?
He was putting you in danger by being with you, anyway. Being with you was selfish, especially considering that neither of you had dared to say the ‘L’ word or put any sort of label on it. It was just the two of you spending an increasing amount of time together, talking, making love, falling in love when there was a good chance of it failing in the end. And both of you knew.
“It’s hard for me to come out and say this,” Optimus started. “But I love you, and I know you feel the same way.”
Your reaction was surprisingly restrained. No denying, no deflecting, nothing except for a small nod. You allowed your (e/c) eyes to fall shut and took a deep breath before speaking.
“I do.”
“It’s remained unspoken for far too long, but part of the reason I haven’t addressed it is because you deserve better,” Optimus reached over and set a servo on your thigh, offering a comforting squeeze, though that seemed to do nothing. You flinched, not even able to look at him for a moment. “I know it hurts, but you’re worth more than this... (y/n), darling-”
“No, you don’t get to tell me that after everything we’ve been through, Optimus,” You hissed, finally gathering the courage to look right at him, (e/c) burning into aquamarine. “Why do we do this to ourselves?”
“I don’t know,” He confessed with a half-hearted shrug. The simple answer was because the two of you loved each other and didn’t want to let go, but the complicated answer was... Well, complicated. “But what I do know is that I don’t want this for you.”
“Then what do you want?” You snapped.
Optimus understood. He had no right to dictate your life, your romantic interest, or anything else about you; you were a strong, intelligent woman with your own hopes and dreams, and unfortunately, he somehow fit into all of that for you. Still, he answered your question honestly.
“I want you to go live a normal life; meet a human, start a family or get married, stay single if you want, even. I don’t want you to get too attached to me and regret it when you start thinking about the little things later down the line... If you stay with me, you’ll always be in danger, we won’t be able to have sparklings of our own, and I could leave you here on earth or die any day now. Is that what you want, (y/n)? You can still leave me-”
“Are you stupid?” You asked, which made him blink.
The Prime hadn’t expected for you to be happy about this, but he hadn’t expected for you to outright insult him either, let alone call him stupid.
“What?”
“Do you think I would’ve done all of this with you without considering the consequences!?” You raised your voice and jerked away from him, holding a hand to cover your chest, offended. Optimus took the hint and pulled his servo away from your thigh to avoid angering you further.
He crossed his arms in frustration.
“You know what? Yeah, I do,” He answered. “Because you care about me too much to realize how big of a mistake this is going to be if we go through with it. Let’s say you’ve fully thought this through and don’t care about anything I’ve brought up- even if that’s the case, I’m not good enough for you, (y/n). I’m so large compared to you that I’m afraid I’ll hurt you one of these days, I’m selfish, I’m inconsiderate, I mess everything up at every turn, and Primus, I’m so unattractive-”
“Is that where all of this is coming from?” You asked, suddenly a lot more quiet, and Optimus winced at your tone. “I knew something was up, too; you’ve been keeping the lights off when we have sex and most of the time it feels like you can’t look at me anymore, but I... I thought I’d done something wrong, why couldn’t you have told me earlier that you were feeling like this?”
You were giving him the look; (e/c) eyes peering up at him, full of love and passion and so much more that was burning into his processor to make sure he wouldn’t ever forget it.
“Because I knew you were going to react like this- I knew you were going to look at me like that and tell me I’m wrong about myself, and it’s making it ten times harder to break it off with you, but what I said is final. Being with me is dangerous, you deserve to live a normal life, and I’m not good enough for you-”
Optimus’s self-deprecating rambling was cut off by you throwing yourself into him, wrapping your arms around his neck and holding on as tight as you possibly could. He uncrossed his own, unsure of what to do with them- he didn’t want to hug you back and give you the wrong idea, but he so desperately wanted to feel your warmth on his digits and palms.
“Shut up! Have you ever thought that facing our problems head on would be better than giving up everything we have?” You argued, pleaded, voice cracking as your tears fell onto his shoulders. “You think that being with me is selfish, but what’s really selfish is you not giving me a chance to make this work! You’re wrong, Optimus-”
“Leave me, (y/n),” Optimus reached forward and caressed your cheek with a servo. The amount of tears he found himself wiping away with his thumb made him frown- was this really for the best? Was he in the wrong here? No, this was exactly why he had to go through with it; whatever hurt came from this point on would be much, much worse if he allowed your relationship to continue. “I know you’re hurting right now, but you’ll thank me later. Cut your losses and leave. Go live a happy life, fall in love again- with a human- and focus on your work.”
“I can’t do it, I’m sorry,” You apologized, only making things worse. The fiery anger that you had expressed initially was fading into something much more melancholy as you hung onto him tighter and buried your face into his neck. “I love you too much. If you really mean everything you said, and you don’t want to be with me, push me away; I’ll leave, and we’ll never talk about it again... If that’s what you really want. Push me away, Optimus.”
“You’re making this harder than it needs to be, (y/n), I...” He stopped when he heard you sob into his shoulder, the sound muffled by his metal plating. Part of him knew that if he had to leave earth in the near future, the impact would be more severe on you than this, but he couldn’t see and hear you cry and push you away like you had asked him to. He couldn’t leave you, couldn’t let you go, no matter how much he hated himself for it. “Oh, to hell with it, I can’t do this anymore- So what if it’s selfish?” Before Optimus could stop himself, he found himself moving his servo from your tear-stained cheek to the back of your head, wounding his digits in your (h/l) (h/c) hair and dragging you into him for a heated kiss. You hummed and leaned into it without hesitation. Optimus sighed through his nose when he felt the tension leave both of your bodies, your hands resting on the side of his neck, his spare servo resting on the small of your back to support you and hold you close to him. Your much smaller lips molded into his the best they could, tasting of sugar and a human spice called cinnamon as you swiped your tongue across his bottom lip plate. His servo in your hair ran through the locks and wrapped them around his digits to yank at them- heat consumed his body to the point that his cooling fans were already turning on with the feeling of his spike pushing against the constraints of his interface plating. After what felt like forever yet not nearly long enough, you pulled away from Optimus and looked up at him, lips swollen from the intensity of your kiss. “I love you.”
“I love you, too,” You responded, a little rushed.
“I’m so sorry.”
“Don’t be,” You choked out, sniffling and clearing up the remainder of your tears before shedding your robe and kissing his neck, cautious and soft yet needy and desperate. The white teddy contoured your body perfectly, hugging your plump ass and highlighting the shape of your breasts as your nipples perked up against the lacy fabric. Your sides were exposed by the slits cut into the outfit. Optimus found himself drawn to the exposed (s/c) skin instantly, so he rested his servos on your hips and took a deep breath in. You were so small compared to him, too; both of his servos covered the entirety of your waist, back, and stomach when he had them like that, and oh Primus, he could already imagine how you’d look splayed out underneath him with his spike buried in your core. He was sure that if he didn’t open his interface panel in the next few minutes, he was going to burst. “I need this, need you... Optimus.”
The next few minutes were wordless, with Optimus picking you up and carrying you to your bedroom. There were candles lit there, too, and while he was sure that was a fire hazard, he appreciated your attempt to set the atmosphere- even if it had been temporarily squandered by his earlier spiel. So, he shut and locked the door behind him and followed that with gently setting you on the edge of the bed.
When he kneeled on the floor in front of you, you blinked your (e/c) eyes, (s/c) cheeks lit aflame when he took your hand in one of his and pressed a kiss against your knuckles. And, as he looked up at you, he realized something; maybe he didn’t think he deserved you, but you deserved him if that’s what he wanted, and instead of shoving his own self-deprecating sentiments down your throat, he wanted to try to be more thankful that he had you, wanted to stop worrying about what was ahead and enjoy what he had in the moment.
“(y/n), I want to tell you everything tonight, I...” Optimus cleared his throat and continued to hold your hand as he leaned up and nuzzled your neck. “I’ve never loved anybot or anyone like I’ve loved you. I don’t think I could live without you; without the mornings I wake up with you and bury my face in your hair, without the feeling of your skin on mine, without seeing how the sunlight pours through the windows and onto your skin when the sun rises and how your lashes flutter against your cheekbones when you wake up-”
“Make love to me,” You cut him off, looking up at him, and oh, how he could see the utter love and adoration in your eyes. He wondered how such a small being was capable of holding so much love for him, but he didn’t dare question it, doing as you’d told him and reaching up to unlace the front of your teddy, the ribbon that kept the two halves of the front together coming untied underneath his nimble fingers within seconds. It fell off of the upper half of your body, revealing rounded shoulders and supple breasts, a soft tummy and feminine hips. You didn’t hesitate to lift yourself off of the bed just enough to pull the rest of the lingerie down your body and kick it across the room. Now, all of you was exposed from head to toe. This was the point at which Optimus would usually get on the bed and pick you up by your waist, pull you over so you could sit on his faceplates, but he was so emotional and pent up at this point that he knew he couldn’t wait that long to be inside you. “Hurry up, please? I’ve been thinking about this all day.”
The Autobot gave you a nod and stood up, so you laid down with your back on the bed and watched him open his interface panels. He couldn’t help but watch your face as he released his spike, already fully pressurized- because no matter how many times the two of you had done this, you always seemed to be taken aback by the sheer size of it, your cheeks glowing red and eyes blown wide with lust in a manner that flattered him.
You didn’t speak, only gulping and squeezing your thighs together in anticipation. Optimus Prime crawled over you on top of your mattress with his knees on either side of your hips to cage you underneath him. The slit of his spike was already wet with prefluid and lubricant, and he wanted to fuck you so bad, but he knew he had to wait until you were ready.
As embarrassing as it was to admit, before you’d probably even thought of him in such a way, he’d done his own research on human mating rituals to prepare himself for you; enough research to know that human women needed thorough foreplay and preparation to take a human’s spike, let alone a Cybertronian’s, which was usually larger. Due to that, he was always very careful with you, giving you plenty of time and prep before you ever had sex.
So, as he balanced himself on his knees and pinned your wrists above your head with one servo, he circled two of the digits on his free servo with his glossa to lubricate them and get them ready for you. You spread your shaky legs and moved your hips up, almost as if to tell him to get on with it. Your impatience was evident in the way your body moved, your breaths heavy and a pout of frustration taking over your face.
Unable to help himself, Optimus chuckled at the feeling of you trying to move your hands out of his grip to no avail. It was nice to know that despite what had happened earlier, nothing bad had happened to your usual dynamic- and the sound of you bashfully giggling in return made his spark swell with the love he had for you.
Having had enough with making you wait, the Prime prodded his pointer digit at your entrance and slowly pushed it in. He followed with his middle digit and waited for you to adjust, the both of you letting out a sigh. You were so different than any Cybertronian he’d ever done anything with; piping hot, wet, velvety, and sensitive, he couldn’t help how his spike throbbed at the feeling of you moving your hips to fuck yourself on his fingers as you hummed. With him holding your wrists, you couldn’t move your arms down, but you managed to grip one of the digits that was assisting in holding you down.
You’d adjusted quickly enough to his fingers, so Optimus began a steady rhythm of pulling them most of the way out before pushing them back in, over and over and over again, getting progressively faster with each push. You rewarded him with your sweet moans in return and tilted your head back with your mouth agape in the depths of your pleasure.
“You’re so beautiful when you’re like this,” Prime praised you without hesitation and dipped in until he was knuckle deep. That made you say his name especially loud, so he continued doing it, wanting to hear that sound again. “So gorgeous with your face red and eyes half-lidded. I love how you always squeeze one of my fingers during it because your hands are too tiny to fully hold mine; you’re so small I fear breaking you sometimes, but the fact that you still trust me when I’m big enough to crush you like this makes me feel so good.”
“I think your eyes are beautiful,” Surprisingly enough, you praised him back, looking him straight in the optics. “I love it when you look at me when we do it; the face you make is what sends me over the edge, and the noises you make in my ear drive me wild. The way you have so much physical power over me just makes it even more exciting than it already is. It’s like you could do whatever you want to me, any time you want, and I’d let you.”
Your words were rushed but confident, though as soon as you finished, you hid your face in the pillow your head was currently on to stifle a moan at a particularly rough crook of his fingers.
“Ah, you’re embarrassing me now,” The Autobot murmured, able to feel his normally cool-colored faceplates drowning in a heavy pink blush. You seemed ready enough and he was growing just as impatient as you had been earlier, so Optimus slowly withdrew and positioned himself between your legs with the head of his spike at your entrance. He bit his lower lip and rubbed his tip against your slick folds before teasing your clit, which made you emit a cracked moan. “You’re ready, yes?” You gave a hurried nod and moved to rest your cheek on the cold pillow. “I need to hear it, baby. Use your words.”
“I’m ready, please-” Optimus didn’t wait any longer after that, wanton and revved up, the Autobot sheathed his spike in you in one deep stroke and reveled in the debauched cry of yours that followed. Your pussy enveloped him completely, taut and scorching and slick, so much so that his hips stuttered with the willpower it took him to let you adjust instead of fucking you raw like an animal the way he wanted to.
“(y/n), my dearest love,” Optimus groaned and pulled back about half away, then pushed back in, only for your heat to pulse and twitch around him. You moved your hips up to meet his and grinded them in a circular motion in what must’ve been an attempt to urge him to get on with it. “Oh, Primus, if you know what’s good for you, you’re going to stop that. Tonight is not the night to test my patience, because you feel absolutely delectable right now and it’s taking everything in me not to fuck you so hard that you won’t be able to walk or sit down without feeling my spike in you for weeks.”
“Yeah?” You taunted, voice breathy as you dared to test him by wiggling your hips even more and purposefully clenching down around him. The thread that was the last of his patience snapped at that, so he gripped your wrists even tighter in his servo and used the other to balance himself over you so he wouldn’t crush your body. You only continued your teasing.
“Yeah,” Optimus finally responded to you, his lips pulling into a tight smile to keep himself from making any noises that were too embarrassing. When he regained his composure, he leaned down to whisper in your ear. “This is going to get a bit rougher than usual, so don’t say I didn’t try to warn you earlier. You earned this.”
With that, the red and blue bot withdrew until it was just his tip inside you, and then thrusted all the way back in- so hard and deep that he could feel the back of your inner walls. You cried out to him again, your legs trembling as you clenched them together around his hips. Optimus could only smirk- for as teasing and impatient as you’d been earlier, your cocky demeanor was certainly washing away with every rough thrust of his spike, replaced with desperation and heat.
“Optimus,” Your back arched off the bed as you were split open by his spike, but as much as you tried to move, all you could do was lay there and take it with your arms pinned by Optimus’s servo and your lower body trapped in place by his legs between yours and his spike deep inside of you. “Optimus!”
You looked at him, (e/c) eyes clouded over and rosy lips parted in heavy moans and pants that drove him wild. Just to see how you would look, Optimus pushed his hips into yours particularly hard, feeling his spike twitch at the sight of your eyes rolling back and your lips trembling at the sensation of your upcoming orgasm.
“Say my name, darling,” Optimus leaned forward and nipped at your shoulder as he adjusted his angle so he could slam the head of his blunt, thick spike into your sweet spot and pick up his pace. Your eyes went wide before you squeezed them shut again and yelled out at the sudden change, a sliver of drool falling from in between your lips. “I want to be all you remember for the rest of the night, so say all of it...!”
“Optimus,” You practically sobbed as the Autobot made love to you like there was no tomorrow in store. The sounds of his metal hips slamming against you and your broken moans echoed in the room and drove him closer and closer to the edge. He was already inside you, but he found that he still wanted to be closer, so he found himself making out with you yet again. “Optimus Prime,” His name fell from your tongue and onto his lips in between your passionate kisses with every thrust of his spike into your wet heat in a way that made him shudder. The arm that was holding him over you shook with the strength of his upcoming overload, the hand that was holding your wrists above your head on your pillows squeezing just tight enough to leave red marks on your skin in the shape of his large digits.
“That’s it, sweetspark, overload for me, won’t you? I can hear you’re getting close, so why don’t you be a good girl and finish for me? You look so beautiful like this, can’t wait to see you cum around my spike, princess,” Optimus egged you on as he felt your pussy flutter around his spike, quickly bringing him closer and closer to his own climax. Thrusting into your soft, small body was so addicting that he didn’t want it to end, but when you gave a broken moan of his name and tensed so hard that he was sure your fingers digging into his fingers left dents in the metal, he couldn’t help it. You came hard around him, squeezing down to keep his spike deep inside of you in a way that triggered his overload. Optimus Prime gave a soft groan when he finally finished, the electricity in his abdomen and spike exploding and making his entire body go numb as he spilled into you. “Fuck, (y/n)-” Optimus slammed his lips into yours one more time, filling you up with his transfluid and giving you a few more weak thrusts. You kissed back, albeit sloppily due to your current blissed out state. Your tongue lazily intermingled with his. The grip on his shoulders loosened, and you pulled away when you felt him depressurize so he could pull out, close his interace panel, and sit next to where you laid on the side of the bed.
When the afterglow faded and you laid down with your back facing him, Optimus usually laid next to you the best he could considering his size and wrapped an arm around you. However, as he remained sitting up, staring at your back and the (h/c) locks that were splayed out upon your pillow, he found tears of lubricant welling up in his eyes- it had never happened to him before, and though he knew Cybertronians were fully capable of it, crying was primarily an organic behavior. The warm light of the candles in your room bringing out the hues of your (s/c) skin and the scent of your shampoo and soap flooding into his olfactory sensors seemed to bring out all of the emotions at once; fear, relief, love, regret, guilt, and everything else that came with loving you. And, as much as he tried to conceal it, the way his voice cracked when he tried to clear his throat gave it away.
“Optimus? What’s wrong?” You asked, clearly panicked as you turned to face him.
“Nothing, I just-” Optimus stopped and took a deep breath. He didn’t want to cry in front of you, but he figured it was part of learning to be vulnerable, and he was done hiding himself from you. “I love you a lot.”
“I love you, too.”
“Don’t leave me,” Optimus pleaded, letting his guard down for the first time in a long time as he moved to sit on his knees on the floor. You sat on the edge of the bed with your feet planted on the floor, just close enough for him to be able to move between your legs and rest his head on one of your thighs. “Don’t ever leave me, (y/n). I’m so scared I’ll mess this up somehow. What if I hurt you? What if there comes a day that you can’t stand to look at me anymore?”
“You just have to trust yourself,” You murmured.
“I don’t yet,” The Prime admitted as he sat up again and leaned forward to rest his forehead against the middle of your chest. “But I’ll try to learn how to... For you, (y/n).”
“Do it for you, too, Optimus. You deserve to have a good relationship with yourself.”
You looked down at him, the smile on your face laced with your concern and exhaustion. You softly ran a hand over the top of his head in a clear attempt at comforting him. Though Optimus was hopeful for what was to come despite his earlier worries, he felt guilty that you had to deal with him like this; anxious and soft and unsure of himself.
The Autobot let out a gentle sigh and pressed a kiss against your collarbone. You smelled like vanilla, jasmine, and something uniquely you; all mixed with his own scent, evidence of the entanglement of your two bodies that would remain until you showered in the morning. Your arms still lingered around his neck as you stared down at him.
It was peaceful, and the second you leaned down to peck his forehead with your kiss-bruised lips, Optimus decided that he’d try his hardest to make it work; for you.

My reasons to ship Erehisu
About two weeks ago, I got an anonymous ask that reads:
what made you ship erehisu? I don't ship anyone in the series (and defo not eremika lol) and I want to understand the reasons
...but when I tried to answer it on my app, it turned out that I can only post 10 pictures per post, so I decided to make a longer, regular one with my thoughts on this topic 😄 Erehisu remains one of my favorite ships in the series (...with the other ones being Yumi/hisu and Levi/han), so I really enjoy talking about it (...well, at least I did, before I started moving away from the series after that mess of a finale). Without further ado, my reasons to ship Erehisu are under the cut (just a quick warning: the pictures are obviously not mine, and there are some anti-eremika themes in this post).
Tumblr media
They had an actual developement
As we know: in the beginning, Historia was pretending to be this good, selfless girl Krista. Later on, we learn that Eren was not particularly fond of her façade (...keep in mind he was the only person who noticed that she was acting off, too - obviously excluding Ymir, who was Historia's closest person and knew about her secret). As Historia chooses to embrace her identity and stop pretending, his opinion on her changes - he reassures her and appreciates the real Historia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You’re just normal. Just a normal girl who’s absurdly honest. (Eren, ch. 54)
Eren...that day...the time you called me...normal. That made me really...happy. (Historia, ch. 65)
Later on, after Historia saves Eren in the Reiss cave, his thoughts on her change even further. There isn't just something that he likes about her anymore - instead, he starts to actually admire her strength and actions.
Tumblr media
(ch. 68)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(ch. 70)
Even further on, he prioritizes her safety and hides an important piece of information that could help Paradis' cause - only because it could potentially put Historia in harm's way.
Tumblr media
(ch. 89)
Tumblr media
(ch. 90)
Tumblr media
(ch. 106)
Keep in mind that there was a time skip in between these chapters, which means Eren kept this secret for years. He hid it even from Armin and Mikasa. After it's finally revealed, he strongly disagrees with, and fights against Historia becoming a titan for the sake of the island. Eren’s sentiment towards Historia is even noticed by Hanji on a few different occasions - it’s something that Hanji brings up while questioning him, later on.
Tumblr media
(ch. 107)
Eren also meets Historia in secret, warns her of danger, and downright doesn't let her sacrifice herself - even when she assures him that she's ready to do it.
Tumblr media
(ch. 130)
She's also one of the only people with whom he shares the information about the rumbling. He also brings up her own words that she said to him back in the Reiss cave.
Tumblr media
(ch. 130)
I believe he doesn't fight for her just because she's one of his friends. It's a natural progression that comes from the shared experience they had in the Reiss cave. Eren got to know and appreciate the real Historia, so whenever she reverts back to the Krista persona, he's there to remind her that she should live for herself and don't let others use her - just like Ymir told her, and just like Historia told him in the Reiss cave. When Eren stands up for Historia in ch. 107 and blatantly refuses to let her get sacrificed, she's actually touched to the point of tearing up.
Their relationship changes and deepens with time, and it's actually shown in the manga - not just as symbols or small hints, but actual, full-fledged conversations/actions. In my opinion, this should be the base of any well-estabilished ship. We have quite a few one-on-one moments with these two that illustrate this progression. There are also panels in which we can peak into Eren's thoughts on Historia, which makes for an unfiltered source of his opinions on her.
They can relate to each other
Something I find really important as well is that Eren and Historia can find each other very relatable, and therefore - understand each other's struggles better.
Both were used by their fathers, and both caused their demise. Both were fiercely protected by someone. Both felt like the world would be better without them, at some point. Both had a big role to play, despite having doubts if they can do it right (Eren, being humanity's titan; Historia, being the queen). Both wanted to sacrifice themselves for their people's sake - and both intervened, saving each other from actually going through with this decision.
Their relationship is well-balanced
Eren and Historia don't clash when it comes to their personalities. As their relationship grows, they mutually admire, protect and motivate each other, while still remaining two separate characters - with their own goals and traits. They freely talk to each other about their struggles; they also care about each other’s actual feelings on them.
Tumblr media
(ch. 54)
Tumblr media
(ch. 70)
I can easily see them as partners, which is something I've always had troubles with when it comes to EM. It's just hard not to make this comparison, since Mikasa's character has always been pretty much fully centered around Eren, which - in my eyes - made their relationship look unbalanced and toxic. I've already spoke about my issues with EM in depth in this post, so I won't elongate this one with repeating the same arguments - still, one of the reasons I started shipping Erehisu in the first place is the fact that I immediately saw it as a much more normal, healthy, and well-balanced alternative to EM.
Parallels and relevance to the story’s themes
Parallels are something that, for some reason, make a lot of people mad. I have no idea why - these things appear in the manga, so why not talk about them?
Aside from parallels between Eren and Historia (...please, keep in mind that I didn’t list all of them in this post), there are also a lot of obvious parallels between Historia and the founder Ymir - to the point, when the entire Requiem der Morgenröte ending revolves around this theme:
youtube
I've also already spoke about how Ymir/Historia parallels could possibly be tied to Eren in this answer.
Tumblr media
(Historia on the cover of vol. 16/Ymir in ch. 122)
Aside from that, there are a few subtle Grisha/Dina and Eren/Historia parallels, as well. Historia is a royal, hiding as a regular person - just like Dina did, before joining the revivalists. Dina also tears up when Grisha stands up for Eldians, just like Historia does when Eren stands up for her.

Quite interestingly, in a lot of these parallels Historia and Eren act in an opposite way as to previous generations. While Frida teaches Historia to be a good, selfless girl, Historia ends up abandoning this persona to save herself and Eren in the Reiss cave. She doesn’t want to devote herself to fate - instead, she’s prepared for a showdown with it. While the founder Ymir’s children are ordered to eat their own mother to ensure her power’s succession (...and a few hundred years later, Grisha fights to return the founder’s power back to his wife - Dina), Eren does everything he can to ensure Historia and her children are safe and never even titanised in the first place.
As the story unfolds, we learn about it’s leading themes - some of which are: oppression and fighting for freedom, desire to change history, the mechanism of circle of hate, and how it affects children who are a part of it. In my eyes, Erehisu just perfectly fit with these themes, especially considering how later on Historia’s pregnancy was handled in the manga.
There were countless ways to answer the who’s the father question? immediately, without even starting up conversation about it - for example, I don’t understand why it was needed to bring up the fact that Historia didn’t marry the farmer in the first place. What was it’s purpose, aside from stirring up theories - especially considering how in the last chapter it’s revealed that they are married, after all? Why end up the Eren/Historia flashback on the What do you think about me having a child? question, when the whole conversation they had beforehand was literally about Eren disagreeing with Historia wanting to get pregnant just to save herself? It doesn’t make sense, and led me (and many other readers - judging from opinions I read online and chapter reactions on youtube) to belive that there were other reasons, and that there was more to this conversation then was initially shown.
If the conclusion to this plotline was always supposed to be that she got pregnant just to save herself...then what was this mysterious built-up for? Why show this conversation in the first place, and in such a weird manner, too? Why not have Historia just say it out loud in ch. 130: yes, I got pregnant to save myself in the beginning, and spare us this whole I will not allow it talk...you know, instead of ending the conversation on the What do you think about me having a child? when the whole previous talk was about Eren fighting against it? Where’s the logic?
The truth is - from my perspective, Erehisu had a lot of logical build up that would benefit the story, and stay true to it’s already established themes and both characters’ previous developement. On top of that, I also think they simply had great chemistry.
That’s all from me today 😄 I apologize you had to wait so long for this, anon...life got in the way, and as I said - I think I’m just getting over this series. Hope you’re doing well anyway 😊

The makings of greatness, or why, as a ride or die Treasure Planet stan, I’m glad there’s no Treasure Plant 2
You ever see somethings that makes you unreasonably angry? Yes I understand exactly what I’m saying, and how that indicates that my emotions and opinions on this are exactly that. Opinions. There’s a good chance I have some objective truths mixed in, but that does not make my opinions based on those truths truth. If you disagree or have different tastes or opinions or interpretations, cool, let me know! maybe you’ll change my mind. That being said.
The plot synopsis for the Treasure Planet sequel makes me angry. Not like, actively so, just annoyed enough to be in a bad mood. And now you guys all have to be in one as well. Why?
Reason 1, and probably least important: Disney sequel syndrome.
Ok so Disney sequels aren’t inherently bad. I’ll stan the Aladdin sequels to my grave, who knew Cinderella could world build, obligatory Rescuers Down Under (the first one was better) blah blah blah.
But there is an inherit problem with sequels in general, and that usually has to do with cast and crew. An original piece of fiction has to grab the audience yes, but there’s also freedom in that. Media touches people in different way. The worldbuilding can mean more to some than others. Some are in it for the animation, or the character developments, or relationships. What connects with one person won’t connect with another. The problem with sequels is that different people who worked out the original material might and usually do not work on the new. And those new people are already working on that new material with their own personal lenses and experiences and interpretations coloring the old. The reason sequels (and remakes, and big budget presentations of other materials like books into movies) tend to bomb hard is because you are essentially being forced to accept someone’s fanfiction into the canon material. Usually, there’s a pretty strong correlation between more successful franchises/extension material, works staying true to the core material, original crew working on the material, and the enjoyment of the audience.
And sources say very few of the original crew remained. Some yes, but mostly voice cast. Even worse, TP2 was a DisneyToon production, not even a mainline feature. Now I’m not saying the new people weren’t talented, or passionate about the project, or were lacking in experience. It doesn’t really matter if any of those things are true or not. It’s the warping of their personal lenses I don’t trust. Fanfic I can disregard, meta I can disregard. This would have been canon.
And reading the Artbook makes is abundantly clear that the parts that touched me personally would have been missing. The very core of Treasure Planet for me was the relationship between Jim and Silver (and their exquisite animation budget). However you choose to interpret that relationship, you can not deny that Treasure Planet is a powerfully emotionally romantic movie. It’s quiet moments and emotional resonance shaped my views of intimacy with a sharp and fine touch. Silver and Jim’s bond is as undeniable and powerful as it is compelling and awe inspiring to witness unfold.
And a lot of that is owed not only to  the voice acting of Joseph Gorden-Levitt (Jim) and Brian Murray (Silver), But to animators Glen Keane and John Ripa, who were the head animators of Silver and Jim respectively. Not only did Gorden-Levitt and Brian Murray deliver stunning performances, but made sure to work together and jointly play off each other in ways most voice actors don’t have the opportunity to do. And the Masters Keane and Ripa took an already stellar and carefully crafted vocal rapport and took it one step further. I highly recommend the Artbook as a good read, both Keane and Ripa talk about the journey of discovering who Jim and Silver were with delight, acting out entire scenes together using their own body language to build the characters together, using the same animation reals to animate, tag teaming in and out of the program rather than do it separately, becoming so attuned with their characters attitudes and mannerisms that you can tell they poured entire pieces of themselves into Jim and Silver.
I’m not saying the Sequel would have been inherently bad because it’s a sequel, or because a new crew worked on it, but I am saying I wouldn’t trust it with a ten foot pole.
Reason 2: Thanks I hate it (I’m saying it’s inherently bad because the plot is bad and I hate it)
I’m sorry for the length, but for you to really understand just how bad this is, I actually have to pick through every single line and tell you why it fails critically at some junctures and where it would be so simple to fix. For those of you who were unaware that there was a sequel in the works at some point, I’m pulling these quotes pretty much wholesale from the AnimateVeiws article Buried Treasure: The ill-fated voyage to Treasure Planet 2, specifically the interview with Jun Falkenstein who was set to direct the now canceled sequel. Spoiler warning, I guess?
So, from the begining
“The sequel was to pick up where the first film left off, with Jim Hawkins going to the Royal Interstellar Academy. At the Academy, he is a hotshot “natural,” but he doesn’t follow the rules very well.” - Strong start but then dropped the finish. I think the interstellar academy would be a very compelling starting point. I see no fault in it at least, it’s a good opportunity to world build. Clemence and Musket like to make a point that Jim was crafted to connect with the emotionally wounded and distant youth in a age of divorce, so showing what happens when that youth hikes up their britches and gets to work can extend on that theme aaaaaaand you dropped it. Dropped that strong start. Yes, Jim was more than a bit of a bite back rebel in the film, but that was a reactionary response to the bad place he started in. Jim was abandoned, and tied his self worth into that abandonment. His kickback against society was a reaction stemming from an inability to see his personal worth and any sort of future he could craft from it. He outgrew this, his very character development was about this in the film. His character arc was about realizing his inherent worth, embracing a sense of confidence and learning what he could do. Even disregarding that, bonus material outside of the film shows that Jim has a very strong sense of respect for Captain Amelia, her military career, and the hard work she put into it, and he’s there on her recommendation. Why would he act out in this? He is a natural yes, but the film shows he’s incredibly sharp and intelligent, if unlearned, and more than ready to learn given opportunity.
“Hence, he gets off to a shaky start – especially with his classmate Kate, who is very smart and has a type A personality. Kate’s father is Admiral Blake, the Commander of the Navy. Jim and Kate vie for top of the class but have very different skills.” - So building off this to fix the problem before. I guess the dynamic they are going for is something like “the kind of a jerk hotshit hotshot who’s got it all figured out and the straight laced rule fallowing stick in the ass rival”? I’m not apposed to to a rivalry, but lets tweak this, given how “hot shot natural jerk” isn’t really where Jim settles at the end of the film. Jim is a natural talent, who excels under tutelage, but more importantly, he has practical experience. While the time period spent on the RLS Legacy is not defined, they do sail to a deep and unexplored part of the galaxy, probably well outside of regular settlements, so no small distance, though Jim is young enough that a very long period of time would be noted in physical growth. Given comparisons to classic nautical sailing of the source time, months, perhaps up to a year? That’s a long time to spend, learning the rough and tumble basics, tying knots, experiencing food and water rations, extreme temperatures, playing with the rigging and mechanical aspects of the boat. Jim knows what it’s like to actually sail. Meanwhile, this is the Royal Academy, who probably takes in upper class second born children and pumps out military accolades for well learned mathematicians and strategists. Jim doesn’t fit in because he can visualize, he can think outside of the box, he can weld a damn engine to a hunk of shrapnel and ignite it freefalling against a metal hellscape and outrace a boat in a high adrenaline situation. He adapts where the other’s frantically look through their notes for the answer. Worse yet, he’s poor and not classically educated. Make it a class issue. In this aspect I do like Kate. Being the Daughter of the Commander of the Navy, she probably has a very technical and far more expansive understanding of navel ships, particularly the running of them. In this way Jim and Kate are perfect foils. Jim representing the poor, instinctually and practically knowledgeable crew, and Kate the upper-class, technically knowledgeable command, a dichotomy representing the haves and have nots in their skills, experiences, an class.
I don’t want to post a picture and break the post, but I do love Kate’s design. I do recommend looking up the article and checking it out. that being said, being a feline species, they messed up not spelling it Cate.
“Captain Amelia is dean of the Academy, which has a brand-new vessel: the Centurion.” - I… why, why is Amelia the dean? Additional material shows that Amelia broke ties with the military because she didn’t like their rule stickling ways and red tape. Why would she want a red tape position? She helped with a war and then bailed first opportunity to become a freelance captain so she could fallow her own rules. Even if you don’t know any of that additional material, you do know that she is a freelance captain. Why is she dean? what happened to the old one? Are they dead? Did DisneyToon kill them? Did Disneytoon kill the old dean?
“Designed by Doctor Doppler, the Centurion is the fastest ship in the galaxy.” - HE’S NOT THAT KIND OF DOCTOR!
“B.E.N. is its pilot”. - NO
In all seriousness all three of those statements show a serious problem, in that none of those characters are in fact those things. Amelia I’ve already explained. But Doppler was a debatably youngish bachelor with too much money who was fascinated by astronomy specifically and who suffered from ennui. And BEN was a navigational unit, so maybe it makes sense for him to be a pilot, but why is a robot who was functioning under a galaxy feared pirate for who knows how long given any kind of agency over a brand new incredibly important ship? These decisions were probably made to incorporate as much of the old cast as possible, to not exclude fan faves. But any decision that makes BEN a prominent part of the plot and thus gets more screen time is a BAD one.
“The pirate Ironbeard desires to commandeer the Centurion. This ruthless villain is relatively all iron – almost nothing of whom he originally was, inside and out, is left.” - On the one hand, I have a weird feeling that this would somehow violate the 30-70 rule. Buuuuut on the other hand, the Artbook does describe the decision making process of what and how was mechanical on Silver (my favorite tidbit was the wheel on his head representing his constant thinking and assessing) and states that that they in a way represent the pieces of humanity he gave up looking for Flint’s Trove. Extending that to a pirate who has given up everything could be a powerful thematic tool if used right (or intentionally)
“He leads a group of pirates to hijack the Centurion while Jim and Kate are aboard.” - ok, yeah, I’ll buy that. If they are butting heads constantly, I could see them sneaking off to the new piece of hardware to one up each other on who knows their stuff, or maybe bond over wanting to learn about the said new tech and being frustrated with restrictions.
“The Navy can’t catch the Centurion, due to the vessel’s speed and armor.”- sure
“Jim and Kate escape the Centurion. Jim decides he needs a pirate to help catch pirates. They find his old buddy Long John Silver in the Lagoon Nebula, where he is running a smuggling ring. “ - So what Jim just goes “I know just the pirate to help us” and then finds him? That journey of itself deserves it’s own movie, anything less is a disappointment. Alternative. Jim and Kate escape onto a particularly lawless planet. Jim has some tricks to keep them safe and fed, maybe he even excels in ways he’s been straight up stop gapped at the academy. Maybe his knowhow is appreciated by others who society also rejects. But Kate is a frustrating fish out of water, getting offended and worked up over things that are big deals to an average citizen but not criminals and pirates. But such reactions are putting them in danger and she needs to get perspective fast. It’s plausible maybe that Silver tracks them down through interesting rumors, but more than that, let it be fate. Neither having any idea the other is there till the second they see each other. Bonus points if Jim and Kate get in a bind and Silver is the leader of the harassers. Better yet lets add some thematic mirroring not only to the scene where Silver saved Jim from Scroop, but directly contrast it to the scene where Silver doubled back and down against the notion of caring for Jim when called out before the mutiny. *kisses finger* Touching and hilarious.
“ Silver agrees to help when he hears about the Centurion. “ -  Silver agrees to help when he hears about the Centurion without Jim even having to ask. Storywise, lets make some kind of deal over how Jim, an upstanding enrollee of the academy, apparently is chummy with a pirate. Tension doesn’t just have to be external, and Kate is the daughter of the Commander of the Army. Maybe she’s recognized and this gets them in trouble. Maybe Kate has issues with her identity outside of her father’s career and need to learn a lesson about being outside of a rigid social structure?
“Jim and Kate receive a tracking signal from B.E.N. – who is currently hostage aboard the Centurion – and follow via Silver’s creaky vessel. They discover the Centurion docked near the Botany Bay Prison Asteroid. “ - While being the fastest ship yet is a good excuse for wanting it to get stolen, my suspension of disbelief breaks a little at any ship, let alone a creaky little pirate vessel, catching up to the fastest ship yet, or the tracking signal being the only way to track it to a guarded prison. Seeing as how I’ve written BEN out of this scenario lets fix it. After the events of the movie, the Royal Military swoops in after to confiscate the debris of Treasure Planet. For those in the know, canon lore states that the Planet was a giant computer, and it and the map were the byproducts of an ancient and advanced civilization. Studying the debris led to the Centurion, notable not for it’s speed, but for it’s stealth. It can cloak itself. Which is why no-one can find it. Meanwhile Silver lets it slip that he snagged the map from it’s pedestal as they escaped the planet as a souvenir. (handwave why the portal was still open with a “the whole thing was exploding, the computer froze). The map is able to track the remnants of said planet, aka the Centurion, meaning Silver has the only means of tracking the cloaked ship
“Ironbeard is using the Centurion to disable Botany Bay’s security systems. Jim, Kate and Silver sneak aboard the Centurion, where Silver reveals to Jim that he wants to take the Centurion for himself. He asks Jim to join him.“ YES. YES YES YES YES YES YES! Understanding that  Jim’s decision to not go with Silver in the first movie is key here. He rejected Silver’s offer the first time because Silver had shown him he had intrinsic value, and Jim finally felt that the natural gifts he had were worth cultivating, that he did have the chance to explore who he could be on his own terms. Jim was comfortable being on his own, because he felt capable. Now, Jim and Silver bring out the best in each other, and the time apart has done them harm. Jim’s strings of social rejections are starting to fell like a glass ceiling he can’t overcome, and is finding more and more comfort in being a big fish in a pirates small pond, and the emotions of of being wanted that come with Silver is a powerful drug. But it’s a one way ticket away from any opportunities he could work towards, not to mention his barely repaired relationship with his mother. Meanwhile Silver has been slowly slipping back into the colder, more selfish self he was, a necessity for his lifestyle, and doesn’t want to loose his connection to Jim and what Jim brings out in him, but is still far enough gone to make the offer and try for the boat anyways, even if he knows it’s not what’s best. It’s an emotionally compelling decision. You want them to say yes, you know they shouldn’t
“Kate overhears this and is horrified, especially since the two have, of course, started falling for each other during the adventure.” - Hate. this I hate. Leaving shipping to they way side, what’s that “of course”? why do they have to fall for each other? Why the Disneytoon sequel love interest? I have a feeling her characterization would come at the cost of it. Why can’t they be rivals? why can’t they develop a mutual respect outside of attraction? Why can’t they both learn an individualized lesson about finding their own place in the world outside of social constraints as foils without macking? I hate this concept. Kate overhears, and is horrified, because Silver is a Pirate which is actually in universe get yourself hanged offense, and Jim is considering this, and they are going to steal a VERY IMPORTANT BOAT and and leave her stranded in a dagerous prison, and are making an objectively morally bad decision.
“Ironbeard discovers the intruders, charging into a fight in which Silver is injured. Meanwhile, the other pirates throw down ladders to the prison below, allowing swarms of elated prisoners to climb up into the ship. Silver, Jim, and Kate exit the Centurion amidst all the confusion. However, Ironbeard shoots down Silver’s ship. They plummet to the prison asteroid below, crash-landing” - cool. Drama. But for my purposes, lets tweak it so Silver isn’t injured yet. But I really want to emphasize that this attack does not interrupt before Jim can react to Silver’s offer. Even something as tentative as “I’m not sure” has consequences. None of this “misunderstanding” BS.
“ Kate is angry at Jim and storms off. “- again, make it clear that Jim showed a real chance of agreeing to steal the ship. if she’s angry before he had a chance to answer that’s contrivance for drama’s sake. Give her a reason to be mad
“ Jim is about to blow her off as well when Silver tells him to give her a chance. He reveals a part of his past through a flashback, when a young (non-cyborg) Silver screwed up a relationship with the love of his life – a decision which directly led to his life of piracy. “ - nope. nope nope nope . I’m gonna put a big old * here because this is reason number 3 why I hate this potential movie, and I will get to that believe me, but here’s me, putting a pin in it. That being said, have Silver selfishly try to double down on getting Jim to join him in a three way argument instead. This is the conflict of the film. Kate, who was learning to grow outside of the strict restrictions of her life and do her own work, make her own way, is being rejected. She is as morally repulsed as she is hurt that she wasn’t included, and hates herself for that hurt as well. Jim is torn between the freedom of what he could be after the academy paired with the strict social constructs around it, and the freedom of a life “full of himself and no ties to anyone” but running from the law and the two friends they represent. Silver is the aggressor here. He likes Kate, he does, but he loves Jim and only has one place in his heart, and has spent his life being selfish. There’s already a crew on board, and Iron beard is hooked into the Centurion. With having the only other means to navigate, they take down ironbeard, the rest will surely fall in line. This is paydirt. A fantastic ship, a bloodthirsty crew, and Jim.
“Silver has a very dangerous cargo with him that he had been trying to smuggle and sell for a fortune, which has the power of a neutron bomb. Jim, Kate and Silver reconcile and work together to fix Silver’s ship and prevent the Centurion, filled with the most evil pirates in the galaxy, from going on an insane robbing-and-killing spree. At the last second, Silver reluctantly gives up his “retirement fund” in order to destroy the Centurion, with Ironbeard and all the pirates on board.” - this entire section needs rewritten. That’s a mcguffin Silver put it away. I have retconned the mcguffin to be the old map, so that is now moot. Now to not blow up the ship. Afterall, Silver and Jim have both already overcome what Treasure Planet represented with it’s destruction. Rather, B plot
If we are that desperate to have past characters in, let’s have Amelia and Delbert back home. When the Centurion is captured, Amelia immediately volunteers to fallow, feeling responsible for Jim and secretly pining for some adventure. Delbert feels the same, and he to a bit of an adrenaline junkie after the events of the first movie, but they have the children to think about and only one can leave. Delbert is the one chosen to help by the navy officials searching for the Centurion. While Amelia bickers with the Admiral Blake over his pragmatic but emotionally distant decisions over the situation of his missing daughter, Delbert is an astronomer, and is blah blah blah science meta, fallow the flashing  and bending lights around the cloaked ship to find it. As in Delbert is helpful. Amelia in a reflation to Admiral Blake, is torn between her family and commandeering her own ship to help. Blake is frustratingly headstrong in his decisions, and the script makes it seem like that emotional distance is disinterests, but reveals to the audience that it incorporates a great deal of suppression of his anxieties and worries over his daughter, and trust in her abilities, though he has issues expressing this pride to Kate herself. Amelia, Delbert and fam make what is probably a poor decision in commandeering a ship and leaving on their own to track the Centurion, the navy hot on their heels.
Back to A plot, the navy is approaching. Jim has to make a decision. He is the only one who knows how to unmask the ship using the old ones tech without training, as it’s based off the map. While Kate and Silver are distracting iron beard, he has to either steal the ship and sail off, or uncloak it for the navy. Iron beard is taken down, but not without Silver getting injured. Jim decides that Silver’s life is worth more than anything, and after agreeing with Kate that she’ll commandeer a doctor and wont let Silver die, uncloaks the ship. The Centurion is retaken in a blaze of naval glory that is the action climax. The pirates fight back up are over run. Maybe Kate gets taken hostage as the Admirals daughter, as an opportunity for a resolution with her arc as Blake’s distant daughter, though obviously said resolution comes at her showing her abilities in taking care of herself and the practical skills she has learned.
“Silver again parts from Jim and Kate, telling them to take care of each other. A few years later, Jim and Kate graduate with honors, while a proud Silver secretly watches from the shadows, smiling” - Boooooo. Kate and her dad make up, and she challenges him that she’s going to one day Captain the Centurion, with him understanding that she needs less a mentor and more an emotional support while she works her way up the ranks. She invites Jim to be her first mate, to which Jim accepts as a navigator, (a thing I’ve pointed out to be his real strength in another post). But to Silver, who has been “pardoned” for his part in retaking the Centurion, the movie hinting that he to would be on the eventual crew there I fixed it fic to come I s2g.
yeah there’s a lot of good there, but it’s so easy to fix the bad it’s frustrating. which brings me to
Reason 3: that little pin
“ Jim is about to blow her off as well when Silver tells him to give her a chance. He reveals a part of his past through a flashback, when a young (non-cyborg) Silver screwed up a relationship with the love of his life – a decision which directly led to his life of piracy. “
Nope nope nope I’ll tell you why.
First of all, sources like the artbook say that Jim is so Important to Silver because he’s the first person Silver has ever let become important. he’s specifically stated to have no family, never married, no children. And that’s something he cultivated actively. His life of piracy, his metal limbs, his loneliness and moral failings were all gleefully accumulated for one reason and one reason only
Treasure Planet.
Treasure Planet was the great love of Silver’s life. It was a lifelong obsession. It destroyed his body, took his youth, his opportunities and nearly his life. He broke Jim’s heart over it.
And he let it go. For Jim.
And Jim understood this
This is the crux of treasure planet’s very themes. This is where Jim found self worth. Another person finally looked at him and said “you matter, you matter more than anything. I like being around you and I choose you first.” and it made Jim realize he’s someone worth choosing.
The treasure was EVERYTHING to Silver, and Silver let it go, for Jim.
That one line there, attributing the start of Silver’s fall to a girl? that actively retcons the entire theme of the previous movie. IT rewrite the emotional linchpin of Silver’s sacrifice of the gold. And actually fuck that. right into the ground. I do not accept. I do not pass go. I refuse. Fuck you non existent movie. That makes me mad. every single time. Hate I shall never let go.

4 + 14 + 23 + 27 + 34?!
4. How did you find the name for a certain character?
I have the same process pretty much all the time I feel bad bc this is such a fun question or it would be 😞 no ones named after anyone or like has their name chosen based on the meaning actively I just like look up names for the place and time period and pick whichever I think fit the character or I already have a name in mind when I make them. I’m like wondering if there were any exceptions. Oh I did want my character Adam’s name to sound like a pseudonym instead of a regular name right bc he’s an SCP agent type like mysterious or whatever. So I used a stage name generator to find out his last name (Adam I just liked how it sounded + the fact that it was biblical). I also like the last name King bc he is also in a position of authority over the other characters at times so it makes sense I guess.
14.Which OC/s do you relate to the most?
Kind of embarrassing to answer lol like this has to be at least a little personal. I like actively try to make OCs different from myself so I’m not just projecting onto them yk. Like that would be first of all embarrassing LMAO but second of all it it wouldn’t be very interesting to explore I feel like. In my opinion it’s better to start with something you can understand, but like have layers of complexity that you don’t relate to at all or whatever. I don’t really know. But to answer the question I think I relate to like the 3 main OCs of Rocio Angel and Cirillo the most :P maybe Lucia as well.
23. Have you ever seen something/someone that looks like one of your characters IRL? What was it like?
I actually haven’t that I can remember like not particularly. I have seen some people sometime where I was like ok I should draw a characters hair or eyes or etc more like them. Like bc I was trying to draw them a certain way but wasn’t 100 sure how but I’d see someone who looked like them irl and I was like ok ok like that. Ofc Ive seen people with some shared traits, but no one who really looked exactly the same, no one where like I was like omg it’s like seeing them irl yk.
In terms of seeing people irl that remind me of them though like vibes wise what I have seen is people whose clothing really reminded me of like certain characters. Like not that they would actually wear the same thing because I don’t live in a fantasy world in the 1940s but like that remind me of their personality like that they would wear it yk. One time I was like walking around in a city and saw like 10 people with really nice outfits trying to memorize them all to write them down and draw ocs in them later. I ended up doing one of them but I didn’t like how it turned out 😔
27. What's the nicest thing someone has ever said about an OC/OCs?
This question is so embarrassing I have to admit I remember specific nice things people have said about OCs. I do remember specific nice things people have said though. It is hard to pick like 1 nicest thing. You saying Rocio had autism swag is up there. My irl cousin said a bunch of REALLY nice stuff a while ago she likes reading so it was nice to see her reaction. But like every time anyone has said anything like they like a character’s personality or design or storyline or anything it’s really nice I definitely appreciate it and I will remember it forever <3
34. What scene that you've written/imagined is your favorite?
That’s a good question. I literally don’t know at all. Bc I don’t have like all the details down for most of the scenes I’m thinking so all the ones I’ve like thought abt vividly just have a cool visual to go with them and that’s abt it. That makes it sound shallow it’s not that it’s just like I like the emotion of the scene and the idea behind it but not really any of the specifics you know. So I feel like if I tried to pick one it wouldn’t be like a nuanced pick it wouldn’t be like because it develops the character in this way yk it’d be like bc it’s the climactic scene where this character almost dies and it’s so cool or something like that. Does that even make sense.
Ok time to actually answer the question. I wish I had thought of more scenes that like show the dynamics between characters that I like bc my plan with that was to write it in wherever it felt intuitive yk. Like check up on the chastcters’ emotional states to see how they’re reacting to plot events. I just realized as writing this I think I want to have Tiago live for longer. Ok ignore that thats not important ummm I think the only scene I’ve really thought much about along those lines is the one where Cirillo and Laura meet again after a long time. I like the conflict there I like the characters a lot and I think it has the potential to be a very satisfying scene <3. Also maybe like denouement stuff where Rocio is like hi getting back from thr underworld was so annoying anyway sorry for almost ruining your lives and getting you killed. As you can see I haven’t really developed that part of the story yet but I think it’d be cool to see as well

Restless Rewatch: The Untamed Episode 09 first part
(Masterpost) (More Canary Funsies)
Warning: Spoilers for All 50 Episodes!
Tumblr media
This episode features so many eternal minutes of zombie shambling that I thought I could fit everything into a single post. HA HA HA HA nope.
Zombie Temple
The trio do their best to fend off the not-zombies in the temple. Lan Wangji tells Wei Wuxian that he can’t go carving them up because they’re not actually dead, and drops a callback to their very first meeting at the gate of Cloud Recesses, when Wei Wuxian caught his attention with his pillowy lips comment on the not-dead cultivator.
Tumblr media
Lan Wangji: You said it in that golden moment that will be seared into my memory for eternity, where I heard your voice and laid eyes on your angelic face and lost my heart forever, remember? Come on, babe, it was our very first zombie! How baked were you?
Wei Wuxian: I jerk off to the sword-fighting memory, not the zombie memory, you weirdo.
Tumblr media
Nie Huaisang’s fear of the definitely not undead has apparently gotten him the rest of the way over his fear of Lan Wangji, because he’s now yelling “Lan-Xiong!” right along with “Wei-Xiong!” as he struggles. Note that although he later mentions that his fan is made of some fancy metal, we don’t see any evidence that he wants to fight with a fan any more than he does with a blade. I don’t hate anyone’s fan-fighting NHS headcanon, but my take is that he just isn’t a physical fighter, and that’s ok.
This is a good time to remember that our entire experience of the Nie clan so far in this story is 1. Clever but hopelessly combat-unready tiny artiste Nie Huaisang 2. Quietly helpful, absurdly pretty sidekick Meng Yao.
Tumblr media
We don’t know yet that Nie Huasang’s gege and Meng Yao’s sugar daddy is literally the toughest motherfucker in the entire cultivation world. But his friends do! Which makes me love these dynamics even more, because not one of them criticizes Nie Huaisang for being the person he is.
(more after the cut!)
Never Let Me Go
This scene is where Wei Wuxian gives his tacit consent to being used as the eventual agent of Nie Huaisang’s vengeance....ok not really.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But he does make it clear what Nie Huaisang should do when he’s in a pickle. And NHS doesn’t forget things.
Tumblr media
Priorities
Meanwhile, Lan Wangji isn’t nearly as patient as Wei Wuxian, and he drops a silence spell on Nie Huaisang basically out of annoyance. It’s not like they’re trying to be sneaky.
Tumblr media
Lan Wangji: How about you have an exquisitely crafted ceramic cup of shut the fuck up?
Flute Girl
Wen Qing comes to the rescue by summoning all of the not-zombies, who happen to be her extended family, to come toast some marshmallows.
Tumblr media
She’s another person who unwisely demonstrates, where Wei Wuxian can hear her, the power of flutes over zombies.
Tumblr media
This move doesn’t seem to do anything important but it looks cool.
Brother Dynamic: Bad. Really Bad.
Jiang Cheng shows up in the temple and trolls everyone, because this is a great time for childish antics. Wei Wuxian is super happy to see him and runs over to hug him, which earns him a shoulder slam.
Tumblr media
This is a regular part of their body language with each other. Wei Wuxian covers his hurt reaction very, very quickly, with a smile that doesn’t involve very much of his face.
Tumblr media
Ow
Tumblr media
Wei Wuxian is so good at pretending his feelings aren’t hurt, he probably convinces himself.
Then he gives a too-honest answer when Jiang Cheng accuses him of...daring to enjoy himself, basically.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That’s more truth than Jiang Cheng was looking for, and he raises a hand to Wei Wuxian, who hides behind Nie Huaisang. This move is interesting because on one level it’s just clowning; obviously Nie Huaisang can’t protect WWX from anything, and WWX doesn’t need protection from Jiang Cheng.
Tumblr media
WWX can easily beat JC in a fight, as he’s let us know before. On another level, this retreat signals WWX’s harmlessness, his childlike-ness, in a semiotic dance that has been playing out for over a decade between the brothers.  NHS is taking on Jiang Yanli’s role in the choreography, this time.
All of this troubling hostility doesn’t make Jiang Cheng a bad person. He’s young and he’s still under his parents’ control and subject to their abuse at home. It takes time to develop mindfulness about this stuff and learn to treat people beneath you differently than the way you are treated.
Tumblr media
Jiang Cheng isn’t ready for that yet, any more than he is ready to say out loud that he cares about his brother.
Leave My Boyfriend Out of It
This interaction is noteworthy for Wei Wuxian defending Lan Wangji to his brother, before Jiang Cheng even has a chance to blame Lan Wangji.
Tumblr media
Wei Wuxian says that following Lan Wangji was his own idea, and then gives LWJ the sweetest, warmest smile.
Tumblr media
Lan Wangji also gets a pair of totally unearned, delighted smiles of thanks from his two besties when he lifts the silence spell on Nie Huaisang.
Tumblr media
Being mildly dickish all the time works out fine, I guess, if you only make friends with people whose brothers are legendary grouches.
Grilling Wen Qing
Wei Wuxian finally decides he’s had enough of Wen Qing’s crap, and gets slightly aggressive in questioning her.
Tumblr media
He’s not actually roughing her up but he is approaching her as a near-enemy for the first time, rather than as someone who wants to be her friend. Once Wen Qing tells him what’s up and agrees to a sort of temporary alliance, he goes back to being his normal slightly awkward self with her.
Tumblr media
I don’t romance-ship WQ and WWX, except maybe as corpse-mountain era FWB, but I do like their chemistry. And their friendship is really refreshing and interesting, based on sharing goals and working together, not on emotional intimacy. It’s nice to see people with a lot of barriers around their hearts, building a strong, trusting bond without having to actually open up very much.
The idea of perfect sharing between people is a nice one, but it’s pretty alien to many of us who are recovering from trauma, or people who just aren’t wired that way, and it’s good to see other models of friendship and love.
Tumblr media
Wei Wuxian, at Lan Wangji’s direction, parts the Red Sea drops a cage on the other 3 cultivators before going to hunt the dire birdy.
Tumblr media
Jiang Chang is, predictably, pissed off about it, in spite of Wei Wuxian’s “you’re good at this” parting words, and says, according to the subtitles, “you bastard!”
“Bastard” is a pretty specific epithet, in English. In the current century, it’s generally used to mean “asshole,” more or less. But it still does carry the meaning “of illegitimate birth,” and since The Untamed is often concerned with legitimacy it seems pretty strong for JC to use with someone who is rumored to be his own Dad’s by-blow.
Tumblr media
Let’s have a look and see what he really is calling him... 你混蛋 =  Nǐ húndàn = “you bastard” per Google translate. Wow, Jiang Cheng, you really went there, huh.
Wen Granny
Wen Qing and the others in the golden cage watch as the not-zombies try half-heartedly to get to them. Wen Qing is super sad about it, as opposed to the two guys who are just annoyed (Jiang Cheng) or scared (Nie Huaisang).
Tumblr media
The first time I saw this, it was just - oh, Wen Qing sympathizes with this poor random woman, she feels bad about what's happening, this is to show us she has a heart.
Tumblr media
Now though --  that's HER granny. Maybe not her bio-grandma but clearly a granny of her clan, who she knows well, who later cares for A-Yuan when he's a child, so may very well have cared for A-Qing and A-Ning when they were small, too. Owie.
Dire Bird Hunting
Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian run off to hunt the smoke bird together. They are quickly trapped in cool-looking fog. Kudos to the Director of Photography.
Tumblr media
They spend some time being confused and also being peak Wangxian 1.0 as they help each other out.
Tumblr media
Lost in the fog and unable to summon talismans, Wei Wuxian is mainly about checking on Lan Wangji, making sure he’s ok, making sure he’s near.  He doesn’t spare any worry for himself.
Tumblr media
(We get a rare instance of seeing an actually glowing sword here, instead of just having a character say “I saw the beams of swords!” to save money on VFX.)
Lan Wangji, meanwhile, understands the mental attack they are under, explains it to Wei Wuxian with only a little snark about Wei Wuxian’s overly busy mind, and teaches him how to handle it.
Tumblr media
Lan Wangji is super disciplined in mind, body, and sword - his fight moves don’t change, really, throughout his life, but he gets better and better at execution. Wei Wuxian isn’t exactly undisciplined, but he’s super creative and busts out a new skill in nearly every encounter. Lan Wangji sees this and is learning to make use of it.
After Lan Wangji helps Wei Wuxian overcome the confusion that is blocking his talisman use, he tells him which talisman to use.
Tumblr media
This isn’t a talisman that LWJ uses himself, it’s just that he’s paying very close attention to WWX’s battle moves, and has a great memory, so he knows which ones will work. In a pretty short timespan he’s moved from thinking like a solo swordsman to thinking as part of a team with a broad range of battle skills. Very soon, he’ll be starting to use Wei Wuxian’s talismans himself.
Tumblr media
WWX takes a hit from the flying death chain, but uses it to his advantage, as in so many encounters. He’s not just self-sacrificing--he is definitely that--but he’s also a chess player, knowing how to use a sacrifice or an injury to his advantage. Cue Lan Wangji being worried for the entire rest of his life.
Part Two is here!

We celebrate OWV by having Fundy loosing his marbles at the hermits
Just some moments I adore of Fundy about to lose it over the hermits being hermits in this fic https://archiveofourown.org/works/27940628/chapters/68426645
Because thats how I celebrate ao3 milestones <3
This quite long so for convinience I will put it under a read more
(There are other smaller moments but this are some of my favs :3)
Chapter 5: Fundy learns about the Cinnabon Shop
"I feel like I’m going to hate this" Fundy said with a nervous but excited energy in his voice
"That is a way to put it" Iskall answered smiling
Fundy waited for Grian to open the door but the blond just looked at him right back. So he stepped forward and pushed the door just to enter and freeze in place.
"What the fuck" he said loudly this time. Hearing the two Hermits behind him laugh at his reaction. He turned around.
"Who is crazy enough to do this?!" He said pointing at the conveyor belt made of at least 12 ancient debri.
Grian just laughed harder while Iskall approached
"Is not just this" the cyborg replied taking a pickaxe out of their inventory and mining one of the debri and then pressing a button that pushed another ancient debri forward
"Is like this for all of these"
Fundy just stood there. Confused, amazed and possibly terrified. He thought the ice shop was weird but they had a shop for ancient debri? That they called ‘The Cinnabon Shop’ ?
No wonder three stacks of diamonds was just pocket money for them!
Chapter 7: False's vertical boat
And then he saw a boat going upwards vertically through a water stream.
"What is-" Fundy was going to ask
"A futuristic boat going up a water stream" False explained with finality, no room for questions.
Fundy had seen a lot of things in the last couple of hours, but for some reason a vertical boat was the thing that was going to make him lose his marbles.
"Boats don’t work like that. How... just… HOW?!" He questioned again but the builder besides him just answered "Is just a vertical boat"
He had seen boats and ships since a young age and that just wasn’t how a naval vessel should work. He could deal with stupidly big structures made by a single person but a vertical boat? That crossed the line!
"False! what do you mean is just a vertical boat?!"
The blonde tried to keep her composed air, but the level of investment Fundy had in this particular thing was truly endearing, so she giggled.
"False!" Fundy said indignantly. His tail fluffing up and his ears pulled back a bit, had he more fur he would have puffed out by now. He was even pouting like a small child.
"I told you Fundy. Is a futuristic boat going up a water stream"
"That looks like a regular boat! Why is it vertical?!" Fundy demanded to know
False just laughed
Chapter 8: Fundy reacts to Impulse's base
"Iskall is that another base?" Fundy asked directing their attention forward
"Yup! That’s Impulse’s base!"
Fundy had looked at it at first while practicing with the elytra, he dismissed it since he assumed it was an important building for the server considering it’s magnitude and technological appearance. But after seeing False’s base he realized the structure was probably just another insane creation done by one Hermit to use as a base.
"Why do you guys need such big bases?" Fundy asked, now noticing that the pyramid had a foundation that went all the way down to the sea floor. Because of course it did.
"Well some of us just like to make big builds" Iskall explained "Some Hermits like Impulse just have a bunch of farms in their bases so they need the space to fit them all. The lower part of his base is a a kelp and drowned farm’" they said, pointing at the subaquatic section of the pyramid
"How long does it usually take you guys to complete these things?"
"Hmm. Well depends how much time you put into them. My tree is not finished yet and I have spent months working in it, but I work on it from time to time instead of constantly. Other Hermits spend a ton of time in their bases and they finish them pretty quick. And then you have people like Impulse who has rebuilt his pyramid like three times all in under two months"
Fundy blinked. And then he blinked again.
"What?" he asked trying to find a reason why someone would re-do such a massive structure
"Oh yeah. Impulse tore his base down and built it back up again three times now. First just to make it one block higher and the other two times because he didn’t like the color he used for the accents" Iskall said. Tone painfully casual
Fundy would have violently reacted but he was in the air and he couldn’t express his disbelief appropriately. Instead he decided to be concise
"What the fuck is wrong with you people?"
Iskall laughed at that
"No. I’m serious! What the fuck?!" Fundy insisted, his disbelief sounding almost like anger
Iskall just laughed even harder at his reaction.
"Iskall!’ he whined demanding answers
"Sorry. Sorry dude" Iskall said between laughs and chuckles trying to settle down "Is just. You sound so angry"
"I am angry! You are all ridiculous! and nobody has given me an explanation aside from ‘it looks nice, it looks cool, I just wanted to do it’ who wouldn’t be mad?!"
Chapter 12: This is a STARTER BASE?
"Is the mansion outside your base?" Fundy asked, still looking around the place.
"Yup! That 's my base!" Grian said proudly
"So… this is...?"
"Oh, this is just my starter base" Grian answered nonchalantly "We often create a small base when we arrived to a new world while we get settled down and get resources to work on our main base"
Fundy gritted his teeth.
Small? He hadn’t looked around but it looked like this place had at least two floors and many parts branching off. This would be a very cozy place to have back in DSMP. And here it was just… a starter base? What?
Grian turned around to look at him. ‘You okay?’ he asked.
Fundy’s ears perked up "Yeah! Just… you guys are insane! It is kinda infurating how you do all this stuff and then dismiss it" he said with a huff "Your ‘small base’ would be a really nice place back home."
Chapter 13: the HermitGrind and their farms are about to make a Fox commit violence
"The blocks in the ceiling…is that dark prismarine?"
"Yep!" Grian replied
Fundy had never used that block before, but he knew those could only be acquired by dying prismarine blocks or mining them from ocean monuments. The question was… how in the entire universe had Grian managed to get enough for his stupidly big build? There was no way of knowing for sure, but he could estimate the ceiling was made up of at least a thousand dark prismarine blocks.
"How did you-" Fundy was about to ask, eyes opened comically wide.
"Oh I didn’t. I bought all of those from the shopping district" Grian laughed.
Then which Hermit was the lunatic that had gathered this? And how?
"Okay well, and who did it then?" Fundy asked
"Impulse! He has an elder guardian farm and he supplies all of us with all the blocks we could need from ocean monuments: all types of prismarine and sea lanterns for example."
At the mention of sea lanterns, Fundy remembered the gigantic sphere of lights that rested just under the glass dome of False’s base.
Could a single person really manage to do all of that?
"What about the concrete?" he asked, only now taking into account the ridiculous amount of grey and light grey concrete that made up a majority of the mansion.
"There are two shops that sell concrete, but many of us also just craft our own" Grian said "I clearly bought mine" he added.
Fundy did the mental gymnastics. Concrete required gravel, sand and one piece of dye to craft.
He looked at this- this thing in front of him and just had to word the equal fascination and horror that grew in his mind.
"How do you even produce that much concrete? False’s giant tower and her city looked like it was also made from concrete..." He huffed.
Grian just smiled and waved a netherite shovel from his inventory around. "With this… and a lot of patience"
Fundy just looked at the blond. His disbelief must have been visible on his face because Grian added:
"We build farms but some tasks just can’t be automated. So you just have to take a day off and grind away." He shrugged.
Fundy blinked, ears perking up and tail fluffing up. "No way."
"Yes way" replied Grian smiling.
"No fucking way! You just dig sand and gravel for hours!?"
"Days" Grian clarified.
"DAYS?!"
"Well… I mean… that is if you are a Hermit who needs things immediately, or if you have to stock a concrete shop. Otherwise you would go to the barge and buy it from there in bulk."
Well that did make sense, they all had a lot of diamonds apparently, but same as the concrete, someone had to dig all that…and if the Hermits bought from the barge-
Fundy looked at Grian who smiled sweetly in return, making Fundy’s hands clench a bit.
"How?"
"With a lot of shovels and patience" Grian answered.
Fundy grabbed the blond’s collar "Grian!" he whined in disbelief.
The blond just laughed.
Chapter 14: Sir your base is freaking alive? WHAT?
“I gave Fundy a tour of your base” Grian said
“You did?” Mumbo asked
“Why did you give it lives?” Fundy asked
“It looked like a cool idea” Mumbo admitted
Great. So Fundy could add to the list of reasons Hermits did crazy things 'it was cool’ as another reason.
Both Grian and Scar chuckled and Mumbo looked confused “What?”
“I think Fundy is about done with all of us” Grian answered
“You don’t say” Fundy replied clenching his fist enraged at how utterly ridiculous they could get
“Wot? But I did nothing!” Mumbo replied chuckling nervously
“Oop” Grian manage to say looking away and trying not to laugh
Fundy threw his hands up in a clear sign of annoyance. His tail fluffing up “Building a giant temple with stuff around it and giving it a beating heart and systems to simulate it’s alive is not nothing!” Fundy complained
Grian and Scar laughing out loud with Mumbo just looking dumbfounded but smiling unapologetically just stirred Fundy more.
Chapter 18: Scar's chest monster
“Scar what the FUCK is this!?” Fundy complained the moment he landed at a gigantic chest monster he had spotted when flying away from Scar’s Big Dig.
“Oh. Is just my chest monster” Scar replied nonchalant
Fundy just looked around. There had to be at least one hundred or maybe two hundred shulker boxes thrown around, not even counting the ridiculous amounts of double chests also scattered throughout all the place.
“No! Grian’s mess is a chest monster! This is just a leviathan!” Fundy kept on complaining completely done for today
The taller builder just laughed.
“It is all my resources organzied. I keep them all here so I don’t have to travel between the Magic Village and here for materials” Scar explained
Organized materials. Organized his ass. Fundy was sure he was going to open one of those things and it was going to be a horror show. He approached a double chest labeled as ‘wood’
“Can I open this?” He asked
“Sure” Scar said
Fundy did just to find stack upon stack of sand.
Sand.
Sand.
A chest labeled ‘wood’ was filled with sand.
He slammed the chest closed and stood up, throwing his arms up, annoyed
“I’m so done with you! I’m so done with all of you!” He complained
Scar laughed some more “Wait Fundy-”
“Wait no!” the fox said looking at Scar with a serious face “You Hermits are so cool but I can’t with all of you. All of you are ridiculous! This is too much for me! I’m going back to the omega tree!”
Chapter 19: What IDIOT would do this?
(My fav introduction to a Hermit so far)
He approached the end of the jungle and had to land on a tree just to take in the view in front of him.
The evil tower was not just over a hill but that hill and it’s surroundings had been terraformed with blackstone and lava, and if he had to guess based on the previous experiences that was all placed by hand. An entire landscape had been terraformed with blackstone and rivers of lava.
A handmade blackstone landscape.
Of blackstone .
The same blackstone that was only available in basalt deltas and bastions in the nether.
Oh. So that’s why Iskall had said the tower was just a part of the base. The entire biome was probably handmade for the base.
Fundy scoffed, and then he laughed in disbelief.
Surely Scar’s Big Dig had taken a lot of time by excavating such a gigantic hole all the way to bedrock, but his builds were made in concrete, still costly but still relatively easy to get because everything was on the overworld.
But getting enough lava and blackstone by hand to terraform such a big area was another thing.
Grind in the nether? For blackstone? In the basalt deltas?
Nope. These people were crazy, truly ridiculous, they had no regard for common sense or decency. This was awful.
As an admin specialized in terraforming worlds this was horrifying to see. He was going to see this on his nightmares, no one would believe him.
A handmade basalt biome on the overworld? Yeah right.
And that was ignoring everything else. If he looked past the custom biome he saw a pit the size of his house or even bigger on one side with the replica of a spaceship built inside of it like it was a hangar for the vehicle. He also saw what seemed to be blueprints for another build in the distance, and a…. small sand igloo? And even if that was tame, if he looked further in the mesa, past the desert, there was some sort of white building with black accents big enough to be seen from where he stood. And also a gigantic drill?
Yeah! The big evil tower did seem just like a part of the base with all these pieces, and still it was gigantic.
And it was on a custom biome.
If Fundy didn't lose it before he was definitely going to lose it now. And this was just his third day here, how was he supposed to go back and see regular buildings the same?
How was he even supposed to talk to the idiot that went and made a handmade blackstone biome?
His answers were immediately answered when his communicator rang with an incoming call. He took it out and looked at the screen.
[Incoming call from Rendog]
Chapter 20: this damned terraformers I swear
“Why not build digital blueprints?” Fundy asked
“Sometimes the sense of scale is lost or you have to take the terrain into account and since we have to build everything by hand is better to have an estimate on just how much time we are going to spend building. A digital blueprint might take seven hours but an actual build even in creative test worlds can take days” Ren explained
Huh. So there was more method to it.
“So Scar just… builds his stuff twice?” Fundy asked, it was a huge effort but it would make more sense to prepare like that to undertake such big projects
“Oh no. Scar is a mad man. He just finds a spot, takes a photo, sketches concepts for it on his notebooks and just… builds” Ren replied nonchalant
Fundy almost choked on his own spit again. “ What? ” He croaked
“Yeah dude. Scar is just…. Scar is just Scar. Is amazing! You should see him terraforming! You just hand him some dirt and stone and BOOM! You’ve got a mountain in just one night” Ren said proudly
Fundy just felt terrified. “On… on one night?” He asked
“Yup! The mountain in the shopping district he did it with Bdubs just the day before the mayoral elections and he won like that”
Two people building a mountain in one night? Fundy had to sit down, this was far too much for his poor brain, he had terraformed entire worlds to have mountain ranges, but that happened automatically and took at least two days for the terraforming tools to complete that task.
Sure an entire planet was a far bigger scale than just one single mountain. But yet two people doing one mountain in one night should be impossible.
“Fundy are you alright dude?” Ren asked curiously when he saw Fundy sitting on one of his shulker boxes.
The fox simply put his head between his hands.
“Fundy?” Ren asked again, taking one step forward and laying a hand on his shoulder
“I don’t understand!” he complained aloud, startling Ren
“Why the fuck do you do this? Seriously why?” Fundy demanded answers, gesturing wildly with his hands
Chapter 22: Fundy listens about the LogFella court case
“Uhh… who is Python?” Fundy asked sheepishly, trying to get Doc to stop.
“Oh! He is an old friend!” Ren replied, ears perking up excitedly. “He was a Hermit but after we moved out of colony six he moved to Legacy!”
Wait. Hermits moved out of Hermitcraft? Why? Why would someone leave this place? Did they get bored? But how? They seemed to have a lot of things to do.
“Oh.” was the only thing Fundy said.
“Pretty swell guy!” Ren said.
“That's easy to say when he bailed you out of jail.” Doc scoffed back jokingly.
“No, he released me from jail!” Ren corrected. “Scar never said there was a bail option.”
What.
“I don’t remember that from the trial.” Doc countered annoyingly.
“You're lying! You were there!”
What?!
“And I don’t remember Scar not saying there was a bail option.”
“Oh you- you- you are so annoying!” Ren complained.
“Uhh… what the fuck are you two talking about?” Fundy asked, utterly lost.
Both Hermits stopped their petty conflict to look at him before Doc replied with a grin.
“Ren committed crimes against all Hermitkind and he was prosecuted.”
“I JUST STOLE SAPLINGS, HOW WAS THAT BAD?”
That answered none of Fundy’s questions and instead gave him several more.
Did the Hermits have a legal system? Did they also have prisons? Was stealing a legitimate crime punishable by a jail sentence? How were they talking about this so casually?
“Is this…uh… is this like you guys having wars but not like…. War wars?”
Ren and Doc only stared at him after he asked that, both visibly confused, before Ren’s ears perked up in realization.
“Oh! Yeah… kinda… yeah… that just happened for a bit because the other Hermits said we were annoying so that was revenge but it was not a permanent thing.” Ren explained.
“We said you were annoying? You were annoying man!” Doc complained.
“Not the point!”
Fundy just stared baffled before he realized how silly the situation was, making him go from being confused to being baffled. “You… you created… you created a legal system… because… because some of you were annoying ?”
“Basically.” Doc replied.
He thought the buildings and the riches and everything else he had seen so far had been already too much for him, but somehow he had found yet more ridiculous things the Hermits would do.
“I will kill you… I swear I’m going to kill you.” Fundy said, his expression going from baffled to absolutely livid.
“Huh?” Doc asked, confused.
“Oh no! We’ve angered Fundy again.” Ren said, chuckling awkwardly.
“Why is your bunch like this? Why?”
“Kid?” Doc asked, genuinely confused.
“He just thinks we are ridiculous.” Ren explained.
“You are ridiculous.” Fundy complained.

A/N: I decided to return to this story finally. I hope you all enjoy, despite the late-ish hour.

Ain’t It A Kick in the Head, Part 4
“This is not what I was expecting when you said we were doing “research”,” Kensi said, giving Deeks a suspicious look as he pulled into the filled parking outside the Blue Diamond nightclub.
He’d picked her up outside his cover apartment in a Porsche that would
likely make Sam drool. Kensi was only surprised that he didn’t pick a flashier color than black. Thought she supposed that would make illicit meetings a little more difficult.
“Max Gentry is not your typical guy,” Deeks replied, slanting a quick look in her direction. She saw his eyes drift down to her legs and tugged at the short skirt of her dark purple dress.
“I’m still not convinced that this isn’t just your way of tricking me into going out with you.” Normally, Eric or Nell would be commenting on their conversation right about now, but Deeks had requested that they only use comms if absolutely necessary. He didn’t want them to get distracted from their roles.
“Nah, if I was going to do that, I would have taken you to a five star restaurant.” He paused a beat. “Which I would never, ever do of course.”
“And of course it was necessary that I wear this,” Kensi said, gesturing to her outfit. He’d simply specified for a night out, which Kensi had interpreted to mean a tight dress, heals, and flashy jewelry. She was a little worried that it would seem too different from the outfit she’d worn the first day she met Deeks.
“Absolutely,” he agreed. “We gotta look the part. Rich and powerful.”
Well, he’d certainly managed that, Kensi thought. He wore a plain black shirt, open at the collar, and black pants that were simple but fit so perfectly they had to be tailor made. His hair looked soft and curly, like he’d just washed it.
Clearing her throat, Kensi pulled her gaze away from the patch of skin at the base of his neck that kept catching her attention. It felt strange with just the two of them and no one in her ear to break up the tension.
“Don’t worry, you’ll be fine,” Deeks assured her, mistaking her reaction as nerves rather than distraction.
“I know I will.” She lifted her chin, annoyed by his insinuation. “Despite what you apparently think, I have considerable undercover experience. “So who are we meeting and what do they know about me?”
Deeks straightened the collar of his shirt, looking forward as he pursed his lips. Despite his straight face, she had the feeling he was still laughing at her. It was annoying, but making an issue about it would just give him more leverage.
“We are meeting with Andre Simons, a rich playboy who buys for himself and his friends. I just told him I was bringing a…friend today.”
“And he bought that?”
“Andre has a pretty serious problem,” Deeks explained, not seeming worried. “I’d have to do something pretty alarming for him to turn tail. And even then, he might put up with it. Can’t lose his supplier after all.” He made a wry face. “As long as you follow my lead, you’ll be fine.”
“I’m not worried about that,” Kensi said firmly. “I just don’t see how talking with this guy is going to be beneficial if he’s not actually a part of any ring.”
“Mm, that is an excellent point, Ms. Mendez. While you’re right that Andre doesn’t hold any power among the people we’re trying to access, he does purchase from them as well. In the past, he even brokered a couple deals and such, but he’s not really cut out for that kind of lifestyle. He’s a little to squeamish, clean-cut if you will, to deal with men who kill people on a regular basis.”
“A clean-cut drug user,” Kensi scoffed. “Well, that’s an oxymoron if I ever heard one.”
“Ooh, one of my favorite terms,” Deeks joked. “Andre is an excellent source of gossip and he does have some connections. As much as he doesn’t want to be in the business, he’s been gathering information for me.”
“So he’s your big source?”
“He’s one of many. Andre is who I go to for to on upper class news. I’ve got other guys that do the dirty work.” Slipping the car keys into his pocket, he turned to face her. “Over the next week, I’ll introduce you to some of them to establish your cover and also make sure none of them knows the real Bella. Hopefully the information she gave you will be enough for you to fake it.” He paused, his expression mildly concerned. “You ready?”
“Of course,” Kensi said as he opened the door. She waited until he was completely outside to drag in a calming breath. Deeks didn’t need to know how nervous she felt. By the time he reached her door and swung it open, she was completely in control.
Deeks held out his hand, and after a moment of hesitation, she took it. She saw his eyes drift back to her legs again as she slid out of the passenger seat, though he didn’t linger for more than a second.
He lead her past the long line of people waiting to get in, heading straight for the large bouncer guarding the door. His lips were set in a grim line, arms crossed while an couple argued with him.
“Lenny!” Deeks called out. The second Lenny caught sight of him, he grinned and automatically moved aside, waving them through.
“Mr. Gentry,” he said in a tone that did not match his imposing demeanor at all.
“What exactly did you do to get an instant pass inside here?” Kensi asked, pitching her voice low as they walked down a short, red carpeted hallway. There was a faint pounding beat that reverberated through the walls.
“Mm, you probably don’t want to know,” Deeks said dryly, pushing a second door open and into a filled with people dancing to blaring music under flashing lights in the center of the main floor. The bar was towards the back of the room and tables of various sizer were sprinkled around the borders. There was also a second floor with private boxes, some of which had black curtains to black the view.
“Well, this certainly seems classy.” She eyed a couple making out on a leather booth a few tables away.
“If you’re looking for class, Bella, you’ve come to the wrong place,” he drawled. Following her gaze, he licked his bottom lip, and leaned close enough that to other people, it would probably look like he was kissing her neck. “Seriously, you might see some unpleasant things tonight and you need to be ok with being a part of that. You just have to believe that I know what I’m doing.”
Before Kensi could reply, a tall blonde woman in a short, low cut electric blue dress with Rhinestone studded stilettos approached them.
“Max, so good to see you again. We missed you,” she said, giving Deeks a smile that made Kensi’s stomach squirm uncomfortably. She couldn’t tell if there was something more personal behind her flirting or if she treated all her special clientele this way.
“I missed you too, Marley.” Deeks winked, making her drop her gaze. Oh, there was definitely something there.
“Do you want a table by the bar, or a private room?” she asked, suddenly all business again.
“Actually, I’m meeting Andre Simons,” Deeks told her.
“Of course. Mr. Simons is in room 4. You can go on up and I’ll bring you and your date refreshments.”
Deeks seemed very familiar and comfortable navigating the club and weaved a path through the gyrating dancers around them.
“Let me guess, she’s tonight’s entertainment,” Kensi said as they climbed a carpeted staircase to the private rooms. Deeks snorted and shook his head.
“Actually, she’s the head hostess.”
“And one of Max’s conquests?”
“Meow,” Deeks responded. He linked his arm through Kensi’s, drawing her into his side. “Don’t be jealous, Bella, Marley is way too smart to get involved with a guy like me.”
Though his voice was sardonic, Kensi thought she heard a note of regret as well. Now wasn’t the time to explore whatever issues he might have though. She had to convince Andre Simons that she was a ruthless drug dealer.

A/N: Yes, this probably does have certain similarities to the club scene in “Fame”. In these kinds of stories, I always feel the need to show Deeks’ skills rather than just stating that he’s good. Plus, you know, banter and relationship building between him and Kensi.
