Listening to tma and when I started this ep I noticed the captions were weird??

I know we all love our Adelard Dekker (throws horrors in concrete) and Joshua Gillespie (outsmarts horrors with ice)

but can we talk about the old man who just straight up 1v1-ed a werewolf? And won?

Lawrence Mortimer deserves to be up there.

MAG 31 “First Hunt” review:

FUCKING BADASS 50 YEAR OLD RETIRED BRITISH OFFICER FUCKIN SUPLEXES A WEREWOLF HOLY SHIT KING. THIS IS INDEED A RARE BRITISH W

Aside from that, we finally have werewolves! So now we’ve had stories on werewolves, ghosts, vampires, witches, and a cult. What are we missing? I don’t think the worm hives count as Zombies, and I don’t think we’ve had skeletons yet. Wait is Mary a Zombie? I think she’s a zombie. But she doesn’t really count I feel. Anyways the werewolves don’t seem to be hairy on the outside, but still plenty creepy!

And Sims had more personality in this one! He remarked on the feeling of being hunted, and explained by the fact that it’s been two months since Martin came, and the worms still come. I wonder if we’ll come to a head in the coming episodes, or if it’ll be stretched out a couple more. Either way, this episode gets a solid 8/10 bullets shot into a werewolf, would never go hunting again.

Katniss is such an unreliable narrator. She says "Then something unexpected happens. At least, I don't expect it because I don't think of District 12 as a place that cares about me" girl you deliver strawberries to the Mayor, you hunt and trade for the district, when you fell at Prim being chosen someone caught you, when you went to Prim people parted for you, when you volunteered EVERYONE stopped. Idk how to tell you but I think you're a pillar of the community.

This was not as certain a truth as he would have liked it to be. Gabrielle had told him that he had hunted passably well, his first time. She'd had to tell him because he couldn't remember. Those first few days, from when he asked Lestat to turn him to when he'd awoken in the theater, were still a blank in his memory, as if some other demon or ghost had been guiding his body.

And he did not know how to feel about Armand. This face which had so recently been his nightmare and was now nominally his peer, though it was laughable to think they'd ever be equals. Was he trying to reform himself in the wake of the storm that was Lestat, as they all were? Was he trying to slip back onto his throne? Lost soul or calculating schemer, angel or devil? Nicolas has enough trouble keeping his own thoughts straight, much less making sense of Armand's.

What's not ok is forgetting to keep your mask on after descending on a murdering spree launching a heroic rescue.

Redemption Round One - Match Two

In Round One, these episodes lost against Anatomy Class and The Gardener, two strong Stranger and Flesh competitors. First Hunt got only 46 votes, while Boatswain's Call had a healthy 120. It's the battle of the 30's!
