"Eternals" (2021) tries to add epicness and depth to the Marvel films, but often seems too stretched and without real momentum. Chloe Zhao's direction provides beautiful panoramas and style, but the plot of immortal heroes protecting the Earth is scattered due to the large number of characters that do not have time to reveal themselves. Kumail Nanjiani and Brian Tyree Henry add humor, but overall the film remains emotionally distant and overly serious.

Two stars — visually stylish, but too hard to watch, without the usual Marvel energy.​​​​
