Since I was disappointed by the end of Thea's story, I have the headcanon that she found a new clock or another way to time travel. The series didn't portray her as wanting to live between times just for her to limit herself to 1905. And from time to time Hannah Dodd (Thea's actress) show up in period drama I'm watching, so I like to imagine it as Thea continuing her journey through time.

#25 Summation, reflections and plans for 2024

Now that the calendar is over I want to wrap things up with some thoughts and facts about of what have been and what is coming.

The calendar

In this calendar I've written about 24 series that have meant something to me through my life. There are other series I might actually like more than some of them today, but they've all changed how I see things or how I feel about a certain subject. I started of with M*A*S*H, which will always be my all time favourite and which came into my life early. I ended with Julie and the Phantoms, which just recently came into my life and about which I still have a lot to learn. Some posts almost wrote themselves, while others needed some rewatches and reminiscing.

I stream A LOT of media, and mostly series, some weeks up to 40 hours. This because I usually have something on in the background, it makes me focus even better. I work from home about half the time and the TV is always on, on these days. But it's normaly rewatches and comfort series and I have a hard time starting new ones. So, to help with this, my goal for 2024 is to complete a list of series I want to watch, but haven't dealt with yet. I might not complete them all if I don't like them, but the goal is to start them all.

Find Me in Paris fans: it looks like there's going to be a sequel series called Spellbound soon! It seems to be set in the same "world" as Find Me in Paris. Completely new cast other than Armando, and a focus on magic instead of timetravel.

Most importantly though, the main character, Cece, is Black.

i am absolutely and utterly devastated. So since i'm sick and i've got an ear infection what better way to waste my time other than rewatching "find me in paris"? To this day i just CANT understand whyyy lena and max were not endgame. WE WERE ROBBED. They were perfect, basically made for each other and he just leaves?!?!? He doesn't even say goodbye but writes a fucking LETTER?!??!?! Unacceptable. Criminal. Inhumane.

Characters without last names

My idea is getting more concrete but I noticed that three of the "Find me in Paris" characters don't have last names. So, what will I do with Clive, Pinky and Oscar? I want to include them in my story but they need last names. Do I just make up last names for them?

ok but i didnt know until now how good french tv, or at least stuff ive watched on french tv that might have been english originally, was. i cant understand a word but i love it??? so far ive gotten into gawayn, caïn, find me in paris, idk the name of this one but its about adopting animals, the jungle bunch and theodosia and im waiting for holly hobbie to come on at some point cos i saw an advert for it and it looked good <3 this is the most tv ive watched in years

Paris, mon amour!

I know it's cheesy, but rewatching Emily in Paris made me think about how some of my favourite shows and films all have this city in common. I love Paris. Some people think it's highly overrated, but I'll always think there's something magical about it. Can't wait to go back!
