More and more people in Ontario are apparently being forced by economic pressures to live with family members for longer than in past years, with one third of households in the province now made up of multiple different generations living in one space. Equifax Canada's damning new analysis of consumer debt as of the second quarter of 2024 has quantified the nation's financial struggles in many ways, with Ontario identified as a forerunner for credit card, mortgage and auto loan delinquency — and also home to the most people still stuck living with their parents. The study highlights, among other concerns, a "transformation in the face of Canadian households, with more families opting for multigenerational living arrangements" due to the harrowing fiscal challenges of our time, especially regarding housing affordability.

BREAKING! The American Economy Is About to Crash Harder Than We’ve Ever Seen And It’s All by Design
The American economy is on the verge of a catastrophic crash, and it’s not by accident—it’s all part of the elites' plan to tighten their grip on your life, your money, and your freedom. The crash that’s coming will make the past recessions seem like child’s play. This is not a natural market correction, it's a deliberate financial bloodbath orchestrated by those in power, and YOU are the target.
They’re not just after your money—they want complete control over every aspect of your life. And the worst part? Most people are asleep, unaware that their entire existence is about to be turned upside down.
This collapse isn’t incompetence; it’s a calculated attack. The elites are burning down the current system to rebuild one where they own everything—and they want total control. Every dollar, every transaction, your freedom, your future—all under their watchful eye.
Look around—inflation is skyrocketing, the housing market is becoming impossible, and debt is exploding. This is no accident. The economy is being primed for a collapse, and when it happens, the 2008 crisis will look like a joke in comparison.
What’s their real agenda? It’s simple: control. When the economy collapses, the elites will roll out their "solution", and that solution will be your worst nightmare. Total control over every aspect of your life—that's what they want, and they’ll stop at nothing to get it.
Don’t fool yourself into thinking your gold and silver will save you. The elites have already set traps for that too. When this crash hits, precious metals won’t mean a thing in their new system. They’ve already planned the next era of control with digital currencies and total surveillance.
There is no power vacuum coming, only new chains being forged. The collapse will only pave the way for a new, even more oppressive system. They’ve been planning this for decades, and when the dust settles, the elites will hold all the power.
Every major crisis—from 9/11 to the 2008 crash to COVID-19—has been used to tighten their control. The American economy is just the next domino to fall, and the solution they offer will rob you of your freedom.
Wake up to the reality. This crash is coming fast, and it’s by design. Resist their narrative. Prepare yourself, build local networks, and start thinking about how to survive without their system. They want you blind, but you have a choice—fight back or be crushed.
The Great Reset is happening right before your eyes. Are you going to be a pawn in their game, or will you wake up and fight for your freedom? 🤔
The time is now!

Seriously look up how many millions of dollars big company CEO's make each year. For example, any insurance company. It's Sickening. Meanwhile normal people are functioning at poverty level.

hey guys, i’m doing a documentary project for my english class that has to do with the current economic state of the world. i’d really appreciate it if you could do this survey and reblog—everything is entirely anonymous, and you won’t be quoted on your answers to the short answer questions if you don’t want to be (it is mostly us-specific, sorry about that)

I find it so sad that many greeks dont appreciate aspects of our history and culture like the byzantine era and our rich folklore. We have so much beautiful music, art and tradition that developed long after antiquity, but it gets glossed over because people are ashamed for some reason. Why do you think that is? Is this a uniquely greek problem?
No, it is not a uniquely Greek problem. I have observed this in several nations that would be considered on the "weak" side. Weaker nations are more susceptible to the influence of powerful countries. It's how fashion works, it's no different at all. If you look and sound and speak like you are from a richer country, you hope people will think more highly of you. The irony is that this is essentially never true. Most people can smell the lack of self-esteem and authenticity from a mile away.
However, the situation is even more complicated in Greece's case. Most countries on the weak side simply get ignored overall (which is also problematic). Greece is fortunate or unfortunate (you decide) that elements of it are disproportionately glorified and it is really so disproportionate that the part that would normally *just* be ignored receives in this case enormous hate for not being identical to the part that is glorified.
The susceptible Greeks, who are usually young people, teens, people with limited knowledge of history and understanding of politics (and there's a lot of them) are particularly vulnerable in internalising the foreign perceptions about their country and the culture. The reasoning is simple: oh this country loves x thing about us and hates y thing about us >>> that country is rich and powerful and its lifestyle is trending >>> surely they must be right then in their assessment of us >>> I am gonna focus on the things they love about us and reject the other things >>> I am going to be accepted and respected.
Something else also happened that is unique in Greece's case: the unprecedented global team-up to ruin the country's reputation during the financial crisis. Media and foreign people were out for blood at the time and I have yet to see other poor countries or even countries with dictators or countries that have committed or do commit war crimes or crimes against humanity to get an equal amount of systemic and well organized disdain in the way Greece got for a full decade due to... the politicians mismanaging its finances. There are Americans who can't tell the place of their own state on the map, let alone Greece's but at the name's mention, they go "oh you got a financial crisis there hahaha!". Still, twelve years later. It's really interesting to observe this.
This, alongside the real problems in Greek economy and society, made it a 100 times easier for many people to internalise this crooked foreign - probably racist - perception of things. Nowadays, a lot of Greeks remain particularly pessimistic and defeated. They have also reasoned that if they had maintained the elements of what made Ancient Greece so powerful and inspiring to the West (constant civil wars? bovine sacrifice to Apollo? chitons? women in the house until they die? philosophizing inside a large amphora? really not sure what all these people mean after all, more likely they don't know what they are talking about) our position in the world and the economy would certainly be much better. Of course, in order to truly believe all this you must have a huge deficit in critical thought and understanding of history, no matter if you are a Greek or a foreigner.
People nowadays are less brainwashed than they were during the peak of the crisis, fortunately. But there is distance to be walked still and our dystopian politics don't make this any easier. Young people don't get any help from the school. To develop their critical thinking. To become self-assured people. As long as the educational system ails, don't expect much.

I'm in an emergency financial situation. Last year my house was foreclosed on and I had to move back in with my parents. I was at their house for less than 3 days before they physically assaulted me and I had to go to the hospital. I was homeless after that and crashing at a few different friends places for about 6 months. Back in March, I got an apartment with a roommate but the bills are insane. I was behind on car payments and my car got repossessed. I had to pay $600 to get it back and I am drained of funds. Im currently at work with no gas in my tank to get home. Even a little bit would help. I do art comissions but haven't been able to sell any recently. If anyone wants to buy any art or make a donation I would be so grateful.

Last week the B.C. government released the first update to its poverty reduction strategy since the inaugural plan was released in 2019. [...] In March, the government announced new targets to reduce poverty by 60 per cent, child poverty by 75 per cent and seniors’ poverty by 50 per cent by 2034. We are glad to see the new focus on seniors’ poverty and attention paid to what will surely be an increasingly pressing issue. Although we welcome these targets, they could have been more ambitious, in both the short and long term. There remains no target for reducing deep poverty or focusing on single individuals without children, who represent the largest group experiencing poverty.

US General Admits Globalists Planning Financial Crash, 'There Will Be No 2024 Election'
A U.S. military official has blown the whistle on how banks across America are about to close down and the 2024 Presidential election is going to be cancelled.
According to Col. Douglas MacGregor, the public need to know there will soon be a “sudden” closure of all major banks in the U.S. orchestrated by the elite which will last for up to 3 weeks.
Col. MacGregor also revealed that the 2024 election will be cancelled due to Martial Law being imposed by the Biden administration.
The elite have got their ducks in a row and they are ready to unleash hell on ordinary people to further their dystopian globalist agenda. So what can we do to stop them? We’ve got the answers coming up.

Need Help
Hey all. So this is incredibly hard to be at this point. And all the harder knowing people on this site are in the exact same position. As it is, income has been next to nonexistent this year. Mom and I have been reliant on her $400 SS (the remainder is allotted towards bills and managed in a separate bank account managed by my brother who is in charge of her SS payments). All that to say, after the government did away with Covid era SNAP benefits we only get $23 a month towards groceries and the rest of the food budget comes out of that $400. The $400 also, due to my lack of income, must also cover my monthly bills. Granted, my bills aren't extreme. The breakdown is below:
Adobe: $40
Care Credit: $25
Disaster Loan repayment: $25
Phone bill: $30
Misc smaller bills: $20
What hurt me this month is the annual bills - particularly my website/email domain which is $72. That came through today. My bank account is at a zero balance. I had made just enough earlier this month to cover my Adobe and phone bills. But I don't have anything to deal with the other bills and I'm going to be overdrawn due to the automatic $72 bill.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So here is where I am needing to ask for help. I'm hoping to get enough to cover the overdraft (typically about $30) as well as my remaining bills and a bit for additional groceries as well.
If I could end up with about $250 that would be amazing. I absolutely understand if a donation is beyond anyone's budget. I also super appreciate simply sharing this post.
If you are able to donate, there are a few options below:
Paypal: www.paypal.me/nanwriter Venmo: @Tanya-Ramsey-2
If donating doesn't feel comfortable you can also visit my Etsy shop where I have many products for sale. You can use the coupon code THANKYOU to save 25% off anything in my shop.
I am so incredibly grateful for anything you can do to help.

Help FTM dealing with housing insecurity
Hey all, I'm making this post because I truly do not have any other place to turn. I am a 24 year old trans man and am going through a really rough time at the moment. To make a long story short, I need to leave my apartment by the end of the month. I was recently laid off from my job and am struggling to come up with the 1200$ I need to finish my lease here, and put money down on the new apartment I have found. While I have been looking for jobs, nothing has stuck. Recently I was able to get a job interview and it's looking like I will get the job, but my wallet was stolen with my ID inside. I can't start this job or any other job without an ID, effectively leaving me homeless. I have 12$ in my bank account and need 27$ plus bus fair to help me get on my feet again. Any amount would help me tremendously, and any extra would certainly help with the housing insecurity that I am currently dealing with.
