Request guidelines
I am open to translating any Diabolik Lovers-related materials, including (but not limited to) drama CDs, games, short stories, magazine articles, interviews, comics, (fan) artwork, and such. Any character is welcome!
I only take requests for translations. I do not take requests for writing (short stories, headcanons, reacts, scenarios and the like). Thank you for your understanding!
When requesting a translation, please be aware of the following: ☽ Please provide the source materials which you would like to have translated. I do not have the financial means nor the time to personally buy all of the drama CDs or tokuten for all 13 characters, for example, so if you want something translated: please include a link to the source materials. These could be links to audio files on SoundCloud and BiliBili, or links to Tumblr posts with scans of short stories or interviews and the like. ☽ In all cases, it is your own responsibility to ensure that the source materials—particularly fan-made artwork and scans—have been acquired with full permission from the original poster. If the original poster has NOT given you permission to repost or reuse/translate the materials in question, I will NOT translate them. ☽ This probably goes without saying, but I do these translations for fun—I enjoy doing them, but I am also busy in my daily life. I will try my best to finish and post the translation as soon as possible after your request, but I give no guarantees on how long they will take. I do work relatively quickly given my current language skills in Japanese, but the time I can spend on translating varies per week. ☽ If you would like me to translate Japanese-language materials from other otome franchises or pop culture related things, please consult with me and I’ll see what I can do! ☽ DO NOT REPOST ANY OF MY TRANSLATIONS ELSEWHERE, IN ANY FORM WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING VIDEO), OR TRANSLATE MY WORK TO OTHER LANGUAGES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

do u have some ways/explanations I could logically become rich and wealthy? I wanna be a billionaire but I just can’t imagine doing that without being unethical…
I was just thinking of this question a few days ago and consulted with ChatGPT, so I have the answers ready and loaded!
Ways to become super ultra rich without having to resort to unethical or immoral methods/practices:
› Entrepreneurship: Start your own business in a growing industry. Identify a gap in the market, create a product or service that meets a need, and scale it. Focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.
› Investing: Educate yourself on investing in stocks, real estate, or other assets. Consider long-term investment strategies, such as index funds or rental properties, which can compound wealth over time.
› Build a Personal Brand: Create a strong online presence in your field. Share knowledge through blogs, podcasts, or social media, and leverage your brand for consulting, speaking engagements, or product endorsements.
› Develop Valuable Skills: Acquire skills in high-demand fields like technology, finance, or healthcare. Expertise can lead to high-paying job opportunities or freelance work.
› Networking: Build relationships with influential people in your industry. Networking can lead to collaborations, partnerships, and opportunities that can significantly boost your wealth.
› Innovate and Create: Focus on research and development in emerging fields, such as renewable energy, biotechnology, or artificial intelligence. Invent new products or improve existing ones.
› Real Estate Development: Invest in real estate, starting with rental properties or flipping houses. Learn the market and focus on areas with potential growth.
› Passive Income Streams: Create sources of passive income, such as writing books, creating online courses, or investing in dividend-paying stocks.
› Franchise Ownership: Consider investing in a reputable franchise. This can provide a proven business model and brand recognition while allowing you to operate your own business.
› Philanthropy and Ethical Investing: Invest in socially responsible businesses or initiatives. This can lead to both financial returns and positive societal impact, enhancing your reputation and network.
Ways to “stumble” into wealth without (directly) hoarding wealth:
› Inheriting Wealth: Unexpectedly inheriting wealth from a distant unknown relative or family friend.
› Winning the Lottery: Not a very sustainable source of income but it works.
› Discovering Hidden Talents: Uncovering a unique skill or talent that becomes highly valued—like writing a bestselling book or creating viral content.
› Investing Early: Accidentally investing in a promising startup or stock that later skyrockets in value.
› Networking: Making a valuable connection at a social event that leads to a lucrative job or business opportunity.
› Crowdfunding Success: Launching a project that resonates with a broad audience, leading to substantial financial backing.
› Accidental Invention: Creating a product by chance that fills a market need, like a popular app or gadget.

Urban Gods Worship System
(I'm terrible at posting information about this project xD; )
So in the world of Urban Gods, it's basically the world of the myths, they just have cars and Instagram (btw, I'm open to suggestions on how to make "Instagram" a Greek mythology pun xD), and I wanted to come up with a replacement for animal sacrifices since that's no longer really a thing in our modern day society. While it is common to use altar worship, item and food offerings and prayers of a lot of modern worshippers in our world, since this is a world where gods are also active members of society, there's another, far more popular method - patronizing establishments owned by the gods themselves.
Several major gods own restaurants, hotels, chain stores and other establishments, while more minor gods, as well as nymphs, satyrs, and other benign creatures, will often be employed there. The following is a master list of establishments I have plotted out so far, and who owns and works for them...
Hades - Inferis - A subterranian casino resort in Athens; Charon, the Furies and the Keres will cycle working the different security posts, Thanatos works as waitstaff in the bar/restaurant areas, Hypnos works the front desk on the hotel side, Hecate appears to work some sort of upper management position, and Minthe works as the casino host at the beginning of the story, eventually being replaced by Persephone. Hermes frequently works as a bartender, and all other positions are often filled by unnamed nymphs, gorgons, and other Underworld creatures.
Zeus - Vronti - A luxury hotel chain, with the flagship location in Athens, overlooking the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Thetis works as the concierge, Hermes will work odd jobs throughout the whole building, Hephaestus leads the maintenance crew, and Hera appears to have some sort of job there, but it's somewhat unclear exactly what as through most of the story she and Zeus are hovering between their good terms and their bad terms xD
Poseidon - Atlantis - A small chain of beach tiki bars with "hidden" drug den areas. I haven't quite worked out where the flagship location is, but most of the time the location seen is the one in Athens. And yes... Athena hates that he has a location in Athens, which Poseidon denies being because of his grudge. Claims, "Well, my brothers have their flagship locations here, mortals would ask questions if I didn't, too...!" Pretty much all positions are filled by different sea nymphs and creatures and aren't individually identified yet.
Demeter and Dionysus - A farm/vineyard in Sicily with a shop attached. Basically it's an enormous farm property that different parts are run by Demeter or Dionysus, Persephone basically runs the shop, Plutus offers financial consulting, Triptolemus cares for the animals on site, and various nymphs and satyrs assist in other areas. Additionally, Dionysus also works as the drink master for all three of the kings' establishments.
Athena - A university in Athens. Not much else is developed about it so far as the only scene written involving it is a brief shot of a classroom and just exposits how the gods are "technically not related" according to my world, but Athena is the dean as well as teaching classes.
Hephaestus - Has no direct stores or anything, but is basically the diving force behind mortals developing computers and robotics.
Ares - Basically runs the this world's equivalent to the UFC, which, because it's run by Ares is a mite more violent than in our world. He also has a gym he operates in Sparta that Phobos and Deimos can often be seen working as personal trainers ar.
Aphrodite - A chain of adult toy stores that are franchised to Eros and the rest of her and Ares' kids, while she'll also offer love advice for a fee at the flagship location in Sparta (somewhere within walking distance to Ares' gym).
Apollo - Works as a pop idol, beyond that I don't really have much developed.
Artemis - Like Apollo, not very developed yet, but the idea that she runs a popular hunting blog.
Hestia - Owns a spa resort known for its luxurious food and services.
More will be edited in as I develop more/remember things as I was sick from stress at the original time of posting this. Follow me for more updates on this project and incorrect quotes! :)

Very unpopular opinions about Gone Girl (the film because it's very different from the book).
Nick didn't feel remorse for cheating on Amy. The shit he said in the interview was a ploy to get her out of hiding to clear his name. He was manipulating her. Nothing he said in that interview was truthful (like I'm pretty sure he later admits)
Amy was a ticking time bomb. There were already hints that Amy was dropping her Cool Girl persona since they moved to Missouri. Even if Nick didn't cheat, sooner or later, she would have gone-girl-ed his ass.
Nick also had the equivalent of a Cool Girl persona. The recession led him to drop it.
Amy telling Nick she got her parents out of debt with her trust fund mirrors when Nick moved them to Missouri. With out consulting the other party and not letting them voice their opinion. It showed that they both contributed to the unhealthiness of the relationship.
Amy was always in control of the relationship, especially when things were going to shit. She owned his job, probably the house and controlled all the finances. Pretty sure Nick's whole upset with the prenup thing is that Amy does control the finances.
Desi Collings is just like Amy just in a different font.
Nick was not as bad as Amy IN THE MOVIE. I know, crucify me. He's a cheat, lazy, has no ambitions, slightly misogynistic, sleeps with his student who is half his age. But, none of these are crimes (Andie was over the age of consent but's it's immoral. He's a pig). Amy commits crimes and wastes police resources. She kills a man not in self-defence, fakes a rape accusation, (tries to) frames Nick for kidnapping and murdering her, stole his sperm and impregnated herself. Plus, she's also slightly misogynistic and classist. Movie!Nick and Movie!Amy are not comparable. Yes, they are both awful people but Amy defiantly is the worst. Book Nick seems to be just as bad. Again book doesn't equal movie.
Amy was always a psychopath saying Nick drove her to psychopathy or any other version of this is quite dumb ngl and ignores Tommy O'Hara. Hell, her actions with Tommy makes me even more sure even if Nick didn't cheat she still would have punished him.
I truly believe Nick did want to leave her. It is said by Amy herself that she knew he wanted a divorce. Nick was shown to want to leave during the end of the movie. Literally, the only reason he stayed was because of the child, the whole outrage that would follow (Interestingly, this could be seen as Nick's own preoccupation of controlling his image).
Amy is the more unreliable narrator compared to Nick mainly due to Nick having a voice of reason, Margo, while Amy doesn't. (Unless I'm under his spell. But I don't think so because I hate Ben in the DCEU and that colors my perception across franchises. Came into this movie full expected to hate Nick as much as Amy or more so but left surprised.)
While I understand uprooting one's life and moving across the country with out the other partners input is quite upsetting and can make you feel like shit. A person was dying. Amy's feelings are valid but like. Cancer? Taking care of dying mother? Amy expected Nick to be OK with a huge financial decision to help her parents, make some allowance. Rubbed me the wrong way. I'm a family gal.
Amy may have loved Nick at one point, kinda like Nick loved Amy at one point, but she ultimately sees relationships and love as a form of winning. This seems to stem from her childhood as she was always one step behind Amazing Amy. All her mistakes were washed away clean in Amazing Amy and sold to the masses. Everyone could see just would Amy couldn't do. Because of this, Amy doesn't see herself as a person as much as a character in a story, expect this time she controls it. She's going to have a picture perfect marriage and thus life. Thus she wins at life. This is also very half-baked and formed by one watch of the movie.
Amy wasn't abused by Nick. Amy fictionalized most of their life in Missouri(She's an unreliable narrator). Like it was revealed that Nick hated Amy and that he wanted kids while Amy didn't. The whole "Let's have kids" fight seems very improbably with this information. Unless I'm under Nick's influence. Plus, Amy doesn't seem that afraid of Nick even when he is violent with her.
The Cool Girl monologue while hits some true points to the idea that society values woman to change themselves to be picked by a man. But it also implies a heteronormative society, implies that woman absolutely cannot like shit like football on their own as they are only doing it for men, acts as if liking things are unnatural for woman, makes sexist judgment of random woman she literally passes who are hopefully living their best life, and is sex negative.
preemptive warning because fandoms can be really toxic for some reason. Don't interact if you don't like.

Bienvenue chez Les Warren… Un couple diablement controversé
Tumblr media
Over « The Conjuring » : The Disturbing Claims Behind A Billion-dollar Franchise.

Interview by Soichiro Morita in Weekly Toyo Keizai magazine, Translated by @SupaChronicles (link to Twitter thread) (transposed below, minus the first chunk which is talking about how financially successful Dragon Ball is as a franchise)
In March, the original author Akira Toriyama passed away, much to the regret of many. However, the momentum of Dragon Ball shows no signs of slowing down and continues to accelerate worldwide. Regarding its appeal, those involved unanimously agree: "It's the simplicity. When we analyzed why the games became hits in North America, it seemed that the straightforwardness of 'Let's fight to see who is the strongest,' which can be enjoyed without much thought, resonated with people," said an insider from Bandai Namco Group. Major Uproar Due to "Person-in-Charge Going Independent" Last year, there was an incident that caused an uproar in the business over this work [Dragon Ball]. In May 2023, Akio Iyoku, former head of Shueisha's Dragon Ball Room*, went independent with several subordinates and established a new company, Capsule Corporation Tokyo, named after a fictional company that appears in the series, with the aim of managing creative activities and handling intellectual property rights. Mr. Iyoku became the head of the Dragon Ball Room in 2016 after serving as Editor-in-Chief of V Jump. A Shueisha insider recalls, "Without consulting his superiors, Mr. Iyoku unilaterally decided to make a film adaptation of Toriyama-sensei's 'SAND LAND'. He always focused on serving the author, for better or worse. At the same time, there was criticism from anime production companies and TV networks that he had a condescending attitude." In addition to these evaluations, progress was lacking in collaborations with the metaverse and AI that higher-ups were anticipating. As a result, in 2022, he was reassigned to a new business department. This unwelcome transfer became the trigger and within a year, Iyoku went independent. Taking over the role of Toriyama's spokesperson on behalf of Shueisha, Iyoku's actions raised the risk of Shueisha losing its 'Dragon Ball' rights. "Toriyama-sensei was also dissatisfied with Iyoku being removed, as he trusted him the most. Chairman Marue Horiuchi of Shueisha even went directly to Toriyama's residence in Aichi Prefecture, but he couldn't persuade him to stay," said the aforementioned Shueisha insider. This put Bandai Namco, which had been making a fortune with games with 'Dokkan Battle', in a difficult position. "Iyoku, who was Toriyama-sensei's spokesperson, became independent, but the rights to the manga were managed by Shueisha. It was unclear who to consult regarding matters related to the original work." "Meetings about Dragon Ball were organized very vaguely, with 'all relevant parties' being invited, which subtly included both Iyoku and Shueisha representatives, making the coordination extremely stressful," said the aforementioned Bandai Namco insider. Toriyama's passing occurred amidst this battle over rights. The discussions continued without the original author, and "the disputes have been ongoing and still remain unresolved," noted a Shueisha employee. Some industry executives are looking towards a resolution that involves the family, saying, "It depends on how the family feels about it." The question remains who will ultimate take the lead in managing this massive IP. The future of the bogged-down battle, which is not befitting a shonen manga, remains unclear.
*The Dragon Ball Room was/is a division within Shueisha (publisher of Shonen Jump) that was dedicated exclusively to Dragon Ball, founded in 2016, basically after Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F' reminded everyone Dragon Ball was still unbelievably massively popular.
tl;dr: In 2023, the guy responsible for managing the Dragon Ball IP- Akio Iyoku- decided to break away from Shueisha and form a new company intended to manage the Dragon Ball IP, with Toriyama's encouragement. This was after Iyoku got demoted internally for being more loyal to Akira Toriyama than to Shueisha with some business decisions that are, in my opinion, Very Good and signal him as being an True-Blue Akira Toriyama Guy. Unfortunately, Toriyama's passing occurred while this was all going on, so the situation is really rough, especially for licensors like Bandai Namco (and presumably Toei) who aren't really sure who to consult for forthcoming projects.

It’s the end of an era and the beginning of a new one.
Starz confirmed Outlander will return for an eighth and final season consisting of 10 episodes to follow the hit period drama’s upcoming extended 16-episode Season 7 premiering this summer. And while fans will certainly be disappointed that Claire (Caitríona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) Fraser’s adventures across time and space will be ending, the show’s prequel series Blood Of My Blood has been greenlighted at Starz and will consist of 10 episodes.
“Outlander: Blood of My Blood is, at its heart, a love story. It will explore what lengths a person will go to find love in a time when love is considered a luxury, and when marriages are made strategically, often for political or financial gain,” says Matthew B. Roberts, showrunner and executive producer. He continues, “the title is a nod to Jamie Fraser’s marriage vow to Claire and there will be several names and faces that ‘Outlander’ fans will know and recognize. Jamie and Claire’s TV story may be coming to an end with season eight, but Diana is continuing on with their literary journey in her wonderful book series and is working diligently on book ten. With Jamie and Claire, and now Brian and Ellen, there is still so much more to come in the ‘Outlander’ universe, and we cannot wait to continue sharing these stories with our dedicated fans.”
“For nearly a decade Outlander has won the hearts of audiences worldwide and we’re pleased to bring Claire and Jamie’s epic love story to a proper conclusion,” said Kathryn Busby, President, Original Programming for Starz. “But before we close this chapter there is plenty of their passionate story to tell over the course of 26 new episodes and even more to explore of this dynamic world and its origin story. We’re thrilled to continue to partner with Matthew, Maril, and Ronald and can’t wait to see where their alluring storytelling takes us next.”
Tumblr media
News of the new project began buzzing in summer 2021, with the network confirming it was in development last August. Based on Diana Gabaldon’s novel, Blood of My Blood will dive into the love story of Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser.
Roberts, who is also the showrunner and executive producer of the flagship series, will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Maril Davis will also executive produce the prequel with Moore, who developed Outlander for TV, under their production banner Tall Ship Productions. Story Mining & Supply Company will also EP with Gabaldon, whose novels inspired the franchise, serving as a consulting producer.
Roberts, Moore, Davis, Toni Graphia, Luke Schelhaas, Andy Harries, Jim Kohlberg, Balfe, and Heughan serve as executive producers on Outlander, which is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Left Bank Pictures, and Story Mining & Supply Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
Blood of My Blood will be produced by Sony Pictures Television. Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Karen Bailey will oversee the prequel on behalf of Starz.

I've had a thought on Game Theory and MatPat ever since I watched Big Joel's video on some of his film theories, and I guess this is the last chance to share it with any relevancy.
Game Theory was really important to me at some point, even as I increasingly saw the flaws. I fantasized about being MatPat: being a conventionally-attractive, able-bodied theater kid/science nerd with the full American Dream house-family dealio. I think that, whatever criticisms you may have, the videos have always been more harmless than not. They were like candy, and I enjoyed them as such.
But, at times there has been an undercurrent of something weird, something more nefarious. I first noticed it with his Scott Cawthon apologia.
After the news broke about the FNAF creator donating huge sums of money to support the campaign of Donald Trump and other conservative politicians, there was a huge backlash, especially from LGBT. Fan gave Scott Cawthon money, and he used that money to cause harm to them and theirs. MatPat's response is some centrist BS about how it wasn't about homophobia for Cawthon, it was about "national defense" (which is also bad for different reasons, and at best paints Cawthon as apathetic to the harm he's causing), and how even though it's okay to feel betrayed, it doesn't mean we should stop supporting the games, because the fan community has grown larger than one man.
As someone whose brand is deeply entwined with FNAF, the financial incentives for The Game Theorists are obvious; they weren't about to stop working with this franchise or its creator, they didn't want to tarnish their reputation by admitting past fault, and they needed to keep the cash cow rolling. So, they worked backwards from those conclusions to rationalize those decisions to their audience.
Then there are the more mundane gripes with the theorist channels: that videos are churned out so rapidly that they make sloppy errors, that they primarily advertise to children (with all the ethical ickiness that entails), that they use content from small creators without giving proper credit or linking to the sources, that the videos are overloaded with ads, usually including a paid sponsorship, several minutes of shilling their own store, and the usual youtube ads on top.
I think all of this speaks to the channels' underlying philosophy, and it's the philosophy of liberalism, by which I mean that marriage between capitalism and democracy. On the one hand, this is a moneymaking venture. It always has to be about making as much money as possible. But on the other hand, it needs to be (or seem, or allow the creators to feel) moral, and so the result is a view of the world where, yes, the company is trying to squeeze out as much money as possible, but also them getting more money is a good thing that benefits everyone. They do charity streams. They employ people. They "educate." "Greed, for lack of a better word, is good."
I'm not just guessing at the motives here. Matpat has been transparent about Game Theory's Origin Story on multiple occasions. It's part of the narrative that justifies the channels' existence. At some point, Matpat pursued theater as a career. In college, he got his first taste of something like poverty, struggling to get by, camping out at McDonald's with its free refills and wifi (a life I've also lived at times and perhaps the origin of the Diet Coke fixation). And it scared the hell out of him. I don't think it could have had that kind of traumatic effect if he had not lived in privilege until that point. He didn't want to feel financially insecure ever again.
The solution was to create the Game Theory channel as a bridge into a much more lucrative career as a corporate consultant. Creating a popular, financially-viable youtube channel allowed him to sell himself as a social media expert to out of touch corporations. He's not really hiding that he's a sellout, just arguing that selling out is a good thing.
All in all, I can't bring myself to hate Game Theory. It had its place. But neither can I celebrate it, or look back with unconditional nostalgia. The problems with Game Theory are the problems with Youtube and the problems of capitalism. We compromise a little to survive, we compromise everything to make it big, and saddest of all are those who sell out and get nothing for it. The channels will continue without Matpat, and if the channels die, there will be countless other identical creators ready to take their place.

My version of Simon “Ghost” Riley’s past for the COD MWII Reboot 2022.
Since the release of Modern Warfare II (2009), when Ghost first appeared I've been reading fanfics about COD. I've always played the franchise's games but never had any character captivated me so much. I think I became a fan because I was unhappy with the way he and Roach (player) die suddenly, due to General Shepherd's betrayal. * 14 years later I’m still mad AF. By the way, at the time I also managed to see the comics that gave a story to Ghost... holy shit, what a sad story. And then there were all kinds of fanfics based on his difficult relationship whith family, proximity to drugs, trust issues, abuse by his father, and everything else that makes him a survivor, full of physical and emotional scars.
OK. I love these stories and this past. But let the past stay in the past.
Wth the reboot of the series I don't think it's fair that he still has the same terrible past. Sure, he has to have a bad past to make him the terrifying element of the team, but couldn't it be a different one? So I decided to create my own version of his past… and maybe write a few fanfics using it.
Today, Ghost is a character presented as someone who does solo missions, described by the game's creators as a lone wolf, a specialist in espionage, sabotage and clandestine tradecraft, so he has to be someone resourceful, such as knowing several languages, knowing cultures and being flirty to get what you want sometimes. He shouldn't act 100% of the time like a rat in a sewer just watching from the shadows. He must have contacts that help him in this, or facilitate his escape, obtain documents, and so on. Can't believe he does any of this wearing the mask 24/7.
Apart from me and some crazy fandom people who are attracted to a huge guy with a skull mask, a “normal” element of the franchise will be intimidated by him, like Rudy. Who knows Soap himself didn't feel intimidated and that little smile was just to hide and not show fear in front of a huge guy like that? As We say here in Brazil: “I'm laughing, but I'm nervous!”. Anyway, in my version of the reboot world, Ghost comes from a family with financial resources but no emotional connections. The parents are both career diplomats, as is the mother's family, while the father's family comes from a long tradition of international consultants for multinationals. With his parents divorced, he, his older brother Tommy and his younger sister Sophie (original character) were raised moving from country to country every 2 years. So he went through Japan, France, South Africa, Argentina and Chile, Spain and Portugal as he grew up. This made it easy for him to learn other languages, get to know different cultures, which made him, even with that height and physical size, manage to disappear in the middle of a crowd of Japanese people.
However, due to his parents' work, he never had the real chance to make friends in the places he went, since he always moved frequently and lost contact with these people. He wasn't close to his parents either. Richard Riley is a distant man, concerned with career advancement, when he was with his children he would leave them to be raised by nannies. Tommy, the firstborn, was his favorite, and Shophie was Daddy's little girl. Simon was the middle child.
Clearly more talented than the other two, but the most independent, that created conflicts with his controlling father.
Miranda, the mother, was a narcissistic woman. She despised Tommy because he was so much like his Dad and connected with him. Simon was her favorite, but she was not a loving mother, rather a woman who was obsessed with her two youngest children: Simon and Sophie. She raised them to succeed in the spotlight of international politics. Sophie pursued a career in law, and like her mother she knew how to use charm and seduction to get what she thought was important when a brilliant mind couldn’t reach the achievement. Simon made Miranda’s eyes sparkle. She had Jocasta’s Complex* towards him, and tormented Simon about his physical form and the possibility of a career in modeling when he became too tall, and thin with an athletic body. She wanted him to participate in photo shoots, she encouraged the daughters of Consuls and Ambassadors to try to get along with him, and she knew: if the daughter of a powerful man was crazy about him, her father would do everything in his power to get his daughter happiness, including connect politically to Miranda Riley's interests. Simon hated feeling used, physically abused by his mother and pulled in different directions based on her interest. Sophie took it well, as they were equals. He felt out of place in a family of sociopaths. When he was old enough he went to the Royal Veterinary College in London, and he drifted away from his family, who expected him to pursue a career in diplomacy or foreign trade. During college he enlisted in the army, to stop relying on family money and being pestered for it. Until he graduated he worked in the army's veterinary and training unit, but his language skills caught the attention of Colonel MacMillan (the one who was Captain when Price was a lieutenant on the All Ghillied Up mission). This led Simon to the S.A.S. exam that he passed with flying collors. Within a few years Simon was already working alone in field missions, and that's when Price asked him to join 141. MacMillan erased all of his family records, because he felt that any terrorist group that knew how much money the Riley family had would make Simon a potential target for ransom demands to finance terrorists around the world.
“They would never pay anything for me, Sir. Only if it was a tabloid making a fuss about the family name. Terrorism is not enough” - Simon once commented, but MacMillan found it hard to believe. Meanwhile, Simon was thinking “Perhaps my paternal family would kidnap me just to justify sending money to some country in civil war that served their interests”. That was always the problem. People thought the Riley family was perfect. Divorced parents who acted civilly by attending the same events. The older brother with a commercial family (the Barbie blonde wife, the smiling little son), the powerful, successful and single beautiful sister, and himself, tall, handsome and shy prince, who publicly assumed the identity of an intelligence officer of MI-6, in the rare appearances he made. That's why the file doesn't have a photo, and he never acts without a balaclava. The secrecy of his identity is an absolutely important part of the job. He cannot be identified, as protection for him and his family. Although he is a football fan and a Manchester City supporter, he is a mountaineer, highly experienced, having climbed Everest twice, and K-2, among other peaks over 7,000 meters high. The second time he climbed Everest, while making the trail to base camp he met Nataly, MacMillan's middle daughter. The two began dating during the months they spent acclimatizing on the mountain, and maintain a serious relationship, in the midst of all the difficulties she has to accept distance matters because of his job, and the fear of intimacy he has because of his family. And those are some of the foundations for my current version of the Ghost character’s past.

Motive Village & The 2 Moons Franchise.
Well 2 Moons was meant to be a 3 part series starring the same cast.
Tumblr media
A BL Series Starring Itthipat Thanit aka GOD, Suradej Pinnirat aka BAS, Panuwat Kerdthongtavee aka COPTER, Warodom Khemmonta aka KIMMON, David Kreepolrerk aka TAE and Thanapon Jarujitranon aka TEE. They were set to play Phana, Wayo, Kit, Ming, Forth and Beam. FOR ALL 3 SEASONS.
The first Season Aired in 2017 and although it was critiqued it was a success. The cast gained instant acclaim.
Produced by Motive Village & CCDM. The former in 2018 claimed copyright issues with the latter.
While this was being "sorted out" God pulled out of making 2 Moons 2 due to other projects scheduled far in advance however Motive Village released this statement
Tumblr media
Some fans immediately took issue claiming God was homophobic and had no intention of completing the BL Series. That he had kiss scenes he didn't like removed or wiping his mouth after kiss scenes with love interest Bas (who played Wayo) but God's management took issue with this and Motive Village released this statement
Tumblr media
Quick retraction to save face. But Motive Village already made the decision to replace the entire cast. They created a BOY BAND called SB FIVE which included the entire main cast except God. The band was pretty successful.
However Motive Village had already replaced the actors for 2 Moons 2 and then fired the remaining guys without prior knowledge.
Tumblr media
Then came the new boys. Surprisingly, most fans were pleased with the new actors which were Benjamin Brasier aka BEN (replacing GOD) Teerapat Ruangritkul aka EARTH now DIN (replacing BAS) Archen Aydin aka JOONG (replacing KIMMON) Kornchid Boonsathitpakdee aka NINE (replacing COPTER) Naret Promphaopun aka PHOOM or PAVEL (replacing TAE) and WORANART RATTHANAPHAST aka DOME (replacing TEE)
2MOONS2 was a success. But more problems were on the horizon with 5 of the 6 Boys. Dome had independent management so he was not subject to Motive Village problems.
The problems with the 2 Moons 2 cast started with Din (formerly Earth) as he was allegedly facing sexual harassment from a much older man at the Top at the company. When Din rejected this man he was sidelined so Motive Village prepared to start another BOY BAND with the entire main cast called OXQ which excluded Din (EARTH) and Din's Fans called EARTHLINGS were miffed so Motive Village released this statement
Tumblr media
Though Din was promised jobs he was basically sat out with no work. But was there to support the BOY BAND featuring what he called his BELOVED FRIENDS.
Behind the scenes people did release statements in support of Din such as 2MOONS2 director and creative consultant (THERE IS A GREAT YOUTUBE VIDEO from MOONCONSORT that is very well researched about this issue)
Motive Village wasn't done yet. But Din's situation was handled with a statement from Din himself dropping out of the much anticipated 2 MOONS 3
Tumblr media
But more was to come. It was said Motive Village was in financial despair. There was talk of actors in support roles not being paid. And Ben and Phoom/Pavel were also sidelined as Motive Village partnership with a Chinese company for a reality survival sort of show but only JOONG NINE were involved while Ben and Pavel took TWITCH for online streaming plus Pavel had HALF SAVAGE (his clothing line) while Motive Village had no work for Pavel, Ben or Din. J9 were apparently paid for the Chinese Survival Show.
With 2 Seasons Aired with 2 Different Cast in 2017 & 2019 no one expected 2 Moons 3 to ever be made as finally the 2nd Cast were finished with their contract. But one more scandal before that involving Joong who said when asked if was gay he said I AM A MAN IN REAL LIFE (not gay) and many took offense. He later apologized and Motive Village released this statement
Tumblr media
Joong after leaving Motive Village went to another company briefly before settling at GMMTV.
So many fans said they would not support 2 Moons The Ambassador due to Motive Village mistreatment of the previous 2 Casts but on October 10, 2022
Tumblr media
2MTA was released with an all new cast yet again but 2 Brand New Leads. But Phana, Wayo, Ming, Kit, Forth & Beam were all recast for a 3rd and Final Time. Reviews Are Mixed. Some Like It, Some Hate It and Some Refuse To Watch It.

Franchise Business Accounting and Tax Services: Key Considerations for Franchise Owners
Starting and managing a franchise comes with unique challenges, particularly in the areas of accounting and tax services. With a franchised business model, balancing the requirements of a larger corporate structure with day-to-day financial operations can be complex. Here, we'll explore the essential aspects of franchise business accounting and tax services, giving franchise owners insights into financial best practices, tax responsibilities, and ways to optimize profitability while staying compliant.
1. Understanding Franchise Fees and Royalties
One of the main elements distinguishing franchises from other business models is the payment of franchise fees and ongoing royalties. Franchise fees are typically paid upfront, while royalties are usually a percentage of revenue paid periodically. Properly tracking these payments is crucial, as they directly impact cash flow. Many franchisees find it helpful to work with experts in franchise business accounting and tax services to ensure these fees are correctly recorded and compliant with tax obligations.
2. Tax Deductions Specific to Franchises
Franchise owners have unique tax deductions available to them that other businesses might not. For example, you may deduct initial franchise fees over several years, reducing your taxable income. Operating expenses related to franchise business accounting and tax services—including costs associated with royalty fees, marketing fees, and other franchisor-imposed requirements—are also typically deductible. Understanding these deductions can provide significant tax savings, but it’s essential to work with a tax professional familiar with franchise regulations.
3. Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
For product-based franchises, managing inventory and accurately calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) is essential. COGS is a significant factor in determining gross profit, and miscalculating it can skew your financial reports. Experts in franchise business accounting and tax services can help you optimize inventory control and calculate COGS correctly, ensuring that your financial records accurately reflect your business's profitability.
4. Payroll Management
Payroll management is another area where franchisees often require specialized franchise business accounting and tax services. From calculating wages to managing employee benefits and ensuring proper tax withholding, payroll demands precision. Payroll mistakes can lead to hefty fines, especially if the franchise operates in multiple states or regions with varying labor laws. Outsourcing payroll to an accounting firm that offers franchise business accounting and tax services can help streamline payroll, reduce errors, and ensure timely compliance with regulations.
5. Navigating Sales Tax Requirements
Sales tax regulations vary widely depending on the type of franchise and its location. Some franchises are responsible for collecting sales tax on every transaction, while others may be exempt. Knowing when and how to apply sales tax requires an understanding of local laws and proper accounting. Seeking guidance from experts in franchise business accounting and tax services ensures that sales tax is handled correctly, reducing the risk of penalties.
6. Planning for Expansion and Scaling
Many franchisees aspire to expand their ownership by acquiring additional franchise units. Expansion brings new financial challenges, including increased bookkeeping, tax preparation, and compliance requirements. Consulting a team well-versed in franchise business accounting and tax services can ease the transition, providing structured financial strategies to ensure each new unit remains profitable and compliant with franchisor standards.
7. Leveraging Financial Software Tailored for Franchises
Using the right accounting software is essential for any business, but franchises often benefit from platforms that can integrate with franchisor systems. Software customized for franchises helps streamline reporting, manage royalty fees, and provide franchise-specific insights. By working with franchise business accounting and tax services providers, franchisees can select and implement software that supports their unique needs, saving time and reducing errors in the long term.
8. Ensuring Compliance with Franchise Agreements
Franchise agreements are legally binding contracts that outline specific accounting and financial obligations. Non-compliance with these requirements can lead to penalties or even termination of the franchise agreement. Regular consultations with specialists in franchise business accounting and tax services can help ensure compliance with these agreements, offering peace of mind and protecting your franchise investment.
9. Preparing for Annual Audits
Many franchises require annual audits as part of their agreement with the franchisor. These audits examine the franchise's financial health, royalty payments, and compliance with the franchisor’s standards. Preparing for an audit can be time-consuming, but with support from franchise business accounting and tax services, franchise owners can streamline the process, ensuring all records are accurate and audit-ready.
10. Final Thoughts
Whether you’re just starting or have an established franchise, leveraging professional franchise business accounting and tax services can significantly impact your financial success. A well-managed accounting and tax strategy not only ensures compliance with franchise agreements and tax laws but also maximizes profitability, giving franchise owners a solid foundation for long-term growth. For the best results, choose an accounting partner experienced in the franchise industry, and make regular financial reviews a priority.
Investing in franchise business accounting and tax services can be one of the best decisions a franchise owner makes, leading to smoother operations, better financial insights, and ultimately, a stronger, more profitable business.

The Surprising Upsides of Owning an Adult Toy Franchise: How This Niche Business Can Unlock Unexpected Opportunities
Owning an adult toy franchise can indeed offer unique, and often unexpected, business advantages. Beyond the apparent financial incentives, the niche nature of this market can open doors to various rewarding opportunities. Here’s how:
Growing Market Demand and Stability The adult toy industry has shown steady growth, with increasing acceptance of sexual wellness products worldwide. This growth means a more stable and resilient customer base that spans diverse demographics and age groups. Economic downturns affect this industry less than others. During uncertain times, people still prioritize products related to personal well-being, mental health, and intimacy.
Lower Competition and High Margins Because of the stigma traditionally associated with adult products, fewer entrepreneurs have entered the market, which can translate to less competition. Profit margins in adult products are often higher compared to more conventional retail goods, as customers are willing to pay a premium for quality, privacy, and discretion.
A Shift in Public Perception and Greater Acceptance Society’s view on sexuality and personal wellness has shifted dramatically, with more people seeing these products as part of a healthy lifestyle. This acceptance allows for more transparent and inclusive marketing, opening up avenues for partnerships with wellness brands, influencers, and even mainstream health professionals.
Recurring Customers and High Customer Loyalty The nature of adult products often encourages repeat business. Customers are generally loyal, given the trust they place in brands for discretion and quality. By creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere, franchisees can foster a community feel, which strengthens loyalty and keeps customers coming back.
Opportunities for Educational and Community Outreach Adult toy franchises can also function as educational centers. Workshops, consultations, and events focusing on topics like intimacy, mental health, and relationship-building offer value beyond the products themselves. These educational efforts can build community trust, enhance brand loyalty, and make your franchise a go-to for information as well as products.
Potential for E-commerce and Subscription Services Many franchises are capitalizing on online sales, which opens the door to a much larger audience and provides convenience and privacy for customers. Subscription boxes tailored to personal interests and preferences have become popular. This model brings a steady income and strengthens customer relationships through a personalized experience.
Market Expansion Potential As the stigma fades, more retail locations, wellness centers, and even major retailers are willing to collaborate, advertise, or carry adult products. Partnerships with local gyms, therapists, or wellness centers can further diversify revenue streams and customer access points.
Low Operating Costs in a Franchised Model Many adult product franchises operate within compact, efficiently designed stores that don’t require large sales floors, minimizing overhead. In addition, training and support from the franchisor streamline operations and reduce startup and operational challenges.
The adult toy industry may seem unconventional, but its growth, low competition, customer loyalty, and emerging acceptance make it an exciting space with abundant potential.

What Businesses Are Suited for the E-2 Visa?
The E-2 visa is a popular option for foreign nationals looking to invest and operate a business in the United States. Unlike many other U.S. visa categories, the E-2 visa is specifically designed for individuals from countries with which the U.S. maintains a treaty of commerce and navigation. It offers a flexible pathway for entrepreneurs to establish, direct, and develop businesses in the U.S. However, not every business model is well-suited for the E-2 visa. Understanding which businesses are more likely to succeed can greatly enhance your chances of approval.
This blog will explore the types of businesses that are best suited for the E-2 visa and offer insights into why they thrive under this visa category.
Understanding the E-2 Visa
The E-2 visa allows investors to come to the U.S. and run their business as long as they meet certain conditions, such as a substantial investment in a legitimate business enterprise. The business must be an active, for-profit enterprise, and the applicant must be coming to the U.S. to develop and direct the operations of the business.
Here are a few key points to remember about the E-2 visa:
The investment must be substantial relative to the total cost of the business.
The business must be able to generate enough income to support the investor and their family.
The investor must have control of the funds and be at risk of losing their capital.
The investment cannot be in passive ventures like stocks or real estate holdings.
What Makes a Business Suitable for the E-2 Visa?
Not all businesses are equally suited for the E-2 visa. Businesses that involve active management, are capable of creating jobs, and are designed for growth and sustainability stand a better chance of meeting the visa's requirements. Below are the types of businesses that tend to work well with the E-2 visa.
1. Franchise Businesses
Franchises are an excellent option for E-2 visa applicants because they come with an established brand, proven business model, and ongoing support from the franchisor. Many franchises also offer a turnkey solution for investors, minimizing the risks typically associated with new ventures. Additionally, franchises often have a clear operational structure, which satisfies the requirement for "substantial involvement" by the investor.
Popular franchise options for E-2 visa holders include:
Fast food restaurants (e.g., Subway, McDonald's)
Cleaning services (e.g., Molly Maid)
Fitness centers (e.g., Anytime Fitness)
Franchises also offer scalability, which can create jobs for U.S. workers, further strengthening your E-2 visa application.
2. Service-Based Businesses
Service-based businesses, particularly in sectors like IT, marketing, consulting, and education, are highly suitable for the E-2 visa. These types of businesses typically require lower initial capital investment while still providing a pathway to job creation and revenue generation. In addition, many service businesses can be operated with a small team initially, allowing investors to meet the visa requirements without the need for substantial infrastructure or inventory.
Examples of service-based businesses that work well with the E-2 visa include:
IT consulting firms
Digital marketing agencies
Language schools or tutoring centers
Financial advisory firms
These businesses are highly adaptable, making them ideal for investors looking to operate a lean but profitable company.
3. Retail Businesses
Retail businesses, such as boutique stores, convenience shops, or online retail platforms, can also be a good fit for the E-2 visa. These businesses often have lower start-up costs, allowing investors to focus on substantial investment relative to their chosen market. Retail businesses can generate significant revenue quickly, helping meet the visa’s requirement that the business not be marginal.
Retail businesses also offer a visible way to create jobs, as they often require employees for customer service, inventory management, and sales.
4. Hospitality Businesses
Hospitality businesses, including hotels, motels, and bed-and-breakfast establishments, are another strong option for E-2 visa applicants. The hospitality industry tends to be labor-intensive, meaning these businesses are well-suited to job creation, a key requirement for E-2 visa success.
Moreover, the hospitality sector is often easier to demonstrate as a substantial investment, particularly in popular tourist or business destinations where real estate and business setup costs are higher.
5. Manufacturing Businesses
Manufacturing businesses offer a compelling option for E-2 visa applicants, particularly if they involve a product with a strong market demand. While manufacturing typically requires a larger upfront investment, the potential for growth and job creation makes these businesses well-suited to the E-2 visa requirements.
Examples of manufacturing businesses suited for the E-2 visa include:
Specialty food production
Custom furniture manufacturing
Clothing and apparel production
If you have experience in a specific industry or niche, a manufacturing business can offer excellent long-term opportunities in the U.S.
6. Real Estate Development (Not Passive Investments)
While the E-2 visa does not allow for passive real estate investments (e.g., simply buying and holding property), real estate development can be a viable option. If you plan to actively manage the development of properties, such as through construction or property management, your business could qualify. Real estate developers who are directly involved in the construction, renovation, or management of properties can meet the active management requirements of the E-2 visa.
7. Health and Wellness Businesses
The health and wellness sector is growing rapidly in the U.S., making it an attractive option for E-2 visa investors. Businesses like fitness centers, spas, and holistic health services are in high demand and have relatively low startup costs compared to other industries.
Health and wellness businesses also have the potential to create jobs, which strengthens your E-2 visa application. If you have experience in the health sector, opening a specialized clinic, gym, or wellness center can be a highly rewarding venture.
8. Tech Startups
For entrepreneurs with experience in technology, tech startups present an exciting opportunity under the E-2 visa. These businesses have high potential for growth and scalability, which can generate significant revenue and job creation. While tech startups can be riskier, the substantial involvement of the investor in the daily management and development of the business makes it a strong candidate for the E-2 visa.
If you are involved in software development, app creation, or innovative tech solutions, this could be a perfect avenue for your U.S. business immigration journey.
Final Tips for a Successful E-2 Visa Business
Focus on Job Creation: The U.S. immigration authorities want to see that your business will benefit the U.S. economy. The more jobs you can create, the stronger your application will be.
Plan for Growth: A well-developed business plan that shows growth potential over the long term will strengthen your E-2 visa application.
Seek Expert Guidance: Navigating U.S. business immigration can be complex. Working with one of the best immigration companies in the USA, like Lunel Law, ensures that you meet all legal requirements and maximize your chances of success.
Conclusion
Choosing the right business is crucial for E-2 visa success. Whether you’re considering a franchise, service-based company, or a real estate development venture, it’s essential to ensure that your business aligns with the E-2 visa’s requirements. By selecting a business with growth potential and job creation opportunities, you’ll not only meet the visa criteria but also set yourself up for long-term success in the U.S.
