Are you butchy dykey suspiciously terfy and generally an eyesore in the eyes of the male (worshipping) population?
Are you madly in love with women?
Then you've come to the right place!
We are looking for opinion pieces written by opinionated lesbians on a range of issues revolving around lesbian lives. The goal is to give radical lesbian voices a platform.
Got a controversial opinion? We would love to hear it!
To name a few examples, the following Substack pieces are coming up:
Goldstar: In celebration of a term
An article about the lesbian experience of often being treated as less then by men and women alike - lesbian relationships being seen as stop-gap solutions immature or fetishized. The feeling of being betrayed by your own sex. How this aided the transgender assault on our sex.
We translate all articles to German and English. Sometimes to Spanish.
You can find our Substack here
Every lesbian is welcome! Be aware though that we are radical lesbians who reject queer theory. We might not accept your submission if we consider it too gender. Or for other reasons. There's no guarantee we're going to use what you submit.

Women just keep winning no matter what we do. Men are weak and they're afraid we'll all recognise it one day.
i hope the women who dwell on physical strength & feel like having female bodies makes us inferior watch this and realise there are many strengths to being a woman

I saw this photo, and I am absolutely in love with it
It's just everything about it, from her facial expressions to and how her strength is being shown to the black and white camera.

Might as well just write them how you want if it is a losing game regardless!
As I’m writing this script (85 pages and counting), sometimes I worry that I have made Hanako too kind and too soft...Too feminine, merciful, forgiving. But I’ve also written her holding her own in a fight while still exhibiting these traits. People are multi-dimensional. Sometimes a character can seemingly contradict themselves and still be in character.
As an aside, writing a female character that exhibits feminine traits isn’t bad writing in and of itself. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: let women be tender and soft. Sometimes gentleness is a form of strength. There is nothing weak about kindness and softness, and sometimes, being kind and soft is the strongest thing a person can do.
Tumblr media
The strength tarot card is a great example. It highlights feminine strength, a woman gently holding the jaws of a lion with calmness and compassion. The lion’s raw strength and vigor is just as much part of the definition as the woman’s courage, inner power, and compassion.
You can’t win as a woman in fiction. Be too positive, you become a Mary Sue, have flaws and those flaws are why almost nobody likes you. Be moderate, you have wet-cabbage personality, be exuberant, you are an unrealistic example. Have strong morals, and you’re badly developed, be morally corrupt and you’re hated with such vigour fans will send hate mail to the actress who plays the character. Be kind and soft and in love, you’re a representation of sexism, be cruel, harsh and cold and you’re just a bitch. Be a complex, realistic, ambiguous character, and either your flaws or your positive traits will be ignored or blown out of proportion and into oblivion. There is no winning for female characters.

To Women Worried About Their Weight: More Than a Number
This blog is for women worried about their weight or struggling with low self-confidence because of it. If you’ve ever felt like your worth depends on a number on the scale, this is for you. “Your weight doesn’t define your worth.” – Unknown I’ve been there. Last year, I gained weight. Although I felt mostly confident, moments came when others’ opinions weighed on me more than my own. It’s…

Before I Have a Daughter
maybe not have one! Before I have a daughter, I want to learn how to love myself. Not in the surface-level way where I post affirmations I don’t believe, but in the quiet, unshakable way that feels like coming home. I want her to grow up knowing that loving yourself doesn’t mean being perfect—it means forgiving your own messes, laughing at your quirks, and showing up anyway. I want to travel to…

A Look at the Complexity of Female Identity and the Role of Women in Today’s Society The woman in this image embodies the ideal of modern femininity: a serene yet determined face, an expression that conveys both strength and gentleness. In her gaze, we can glimpse the history and evolution of all women, their journey towards self-determination and freedom, a path intertwined with struggles and…

If I Were to Only Write One More Letter. If I Could Teach the World to Sing, If I Could Share a Coke with the World, It Would Be Thee; Hear Ye, Hear Me
“If I Were to Only Write One More Letter. If I Could Teach the World to Sing, If I Could Share a Coke with the World, It Would Be Thee; Hear Ye, Hear Me” To the World, This is it. My last drift, my final act, the last sealed letter from the universe in the voice of a woman who has carried not just her burdens but millennia of suffering, of hysterics, of pain we’ve had to twist into humor just…

This striking wall art features the silhouette of a woman standing in a graceful, poised position within a circular frame reminiscent of Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. Her extended arms and balanced stance reflect harmony, strength, and femininity, while the two butterflies that hover around her—one golden and black, the other a vibrant orange—symbolize transformation, freedom, and personal growth. The background is textured with an aged, manuscript-like aesthetic, possibly inspired by da Vinci's sketches, blending the worlds of art, science, and natural beauty. This piece is not only a visual celebration of creativity and evolution, but it also supports a meaningful cause. 5% of all proceeds from the sale of this artwork are donated to domestic initiatives, helping those affected by issues such as domestic abuse and inequality. This thoughtful contribution ensures that each purchase makes an impact beyond its artistic value, contributing to positive change and support for those in need.
