So I’ve been playing a lot of coral island lately

Coral island and stardew valley should let you have the opposite of heart events and friendship. Like giving someone a hated gift would add to like idk skulls or X’s or something and when you get to ten you are mortal enemies with that person and they go out of their way to make your life miserable.

I get very very frustrated with every farming sim being compared to stardew valley instead of being judged on how well it accomplishes what it's trying to do.

most of the farming sim critique i see basically boils down to, "this game isn't sdv so i don't like it..." and as much as I love stardew I do not want to see a bunch of games that basically have the same mechanics but a different skin plastered on. for the sake of keeping the diversity in this genre of game, stop bringing sdv into the conversation
