✨ Romancing Wakuu Headcanons ✨

🌙 Calm, soft-spoken, and kind, romance with Wakuu is a slow dance. He takes his time getting to know you, letting his emotions simmer until they become impossible to ignore. 🌙 He has a tendency to get wrapped up in his work, making his time with you all the more precious. He especially loves when you accompany him around town, even if it's just to the coffee stand for a quick date. 🌙 He loves when you ask questions about his work, he admires curiosity and a strong desire to learn. His observatory is the perfect place to study, and there is little in the world he loves more than curling up to you with a good book. 🌙 Love language: Quality Time. From long days growing up on a boat to long nights in the observatory by his lonesome, Wakuu is a little bit too comfortable in silence. He may not always want to have conversations that stretch into the wee hours of the morning, but a night spent with you quietly pressed against his side is a hundred times better than one spent alone. 🌙 Nothing about the way Wakuu loves is impulsive, and you will never feel anything more sincere because of it. He loves every inch of you, every corner of your brain, every word that comes out of your mouth. Wakuu has created his perfect sanctuary, and it takes a lot of trust for him to invite you inside, but once you're there he'll do everything he can to make it your home too.

Ok I have a couple of wakuu headcanons cookin in the ole noggin but I'll share my favorite one so far:

This is inspired by one of the post-marriage dialogues you can get with Wakuu, where he tells the player he bought his dad new yellow boots, but is pretty sure he won't bother to wear them.

My hc is that, yeah, Wakuu and Wataru still have their disagreements. Wataru still won't budge on certain things (especially new yellow rain boots). But if the farmer gives him those new boots? You will see him wearing them the very next day.

He is an absolute softie for his son's partner/spouse (even if it doesn't seem like it because he's still got his gruff edge)

And it's equal parts confusing, frustrating and endearing for Wakuu. But what Wakuu doesn't know is that Wataru gets soft because he's happy he gets to see his son happy w/ someone. It warms his stormy heart!
