Review of A Dance of Cloaks by David Dalglish
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 4 out of 5. Pages: 386 Where to buy: Amazon | Kobo | Barnes and Noble I picked this book looking for a sneaky assassin/thief/heist story. While it didn’t fit what I was looking for, it was still a fun read. If you do want a heist or more detailed theft type of book, this isn’t going to fit the bill. It’s more focused on the organization of the thieve guilds, not…

Top Fantasy Books That A Fantasy-Freak Must Read
For readers, mythology and folklore have combined to produce a huge quantity of fantasy works. Readers are kept up all night long by their excitement to keep turning the pages and reading the results of the decisions they make throughout the book. Fantasy readers will do anything to achieve the climax and feel satisfied, including staying up late, disrupting sleep patterns, reading many volumes in one day, and many other things.
We are aware that these books fill the hole left by reality while also stimulating the mind. Every reader has been covered by a magical, amusing, and inventive fantasy world that has added excitement to life. After reading a fantasy book review that blew our minds, we got the top books you should read if you are starting with the genre and want the best out of your time.
With this, let us start with the list; you can easily decide which to read first!
The Top Fantasy Series to Keep You Interested
You shouldn't attempt to read every book at once. Fantasy is about holding onto the world around you and reliving it uniquely. Let's get started with our list, and you can read anything that sparks your fancy! Let's explore the best fantasy series ever, which can introduce you to different realities, lessons, and adventures.
Dr. Barry Nadel's The Hoshiyan Chronicles: Dr. Barry Nadel's The Hoshiyan Chronicles is one of the political fantasy-thriller books that guarantees readers an engaging plot. The legendary King, Light of Justice, is being sought for by Israeli professor Yoshua Rosenberg and his colleagues. Nevertheless, they happen across a secret-filled underground vault, which ignites.
a covert conflict between Yoshua, the Chronicle, and the Vatican! Dr. Barry Nadel reinvented fantasy literature for die-hard fantasy fans and revived the idea of spiritual enlightenment.
S.A. Chakraborty's trilogy:  The City of Brass, is set in 18th-century Cairo and introduces readers to Nahri, a thief-turned-exorcist who unintentionally summons a djinn warrior who leads Nahri and the readers to the City of Brass. The series offers readers a good number of exciting encounters with its two sequels.
In all the fantasy novel series, Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus stands out as the only one that combines mystery and Victorian England.
Scott Hawkins' The Library at Mount Char: Are you a fan of books about magic and immortality?
Library at Mount Char: is the one where Carolyn and her eleven siblings reside in a home that their allegedly eternal father owns. He grants the readers access to his library's powers. We enjoyed it until the conclusion of the book after reading a fantasy novel about it. We gave you a suitable summary of the novel because we know that revealing more about the plot may eventually ruin it for you.
Conclusion We thought you would spend a lot of time eating the aforementioned novels, one of the best fantasy books, in their entirety. You ought to proceed.

Crowned A Traitor: A Tale of Heart and Hellfire - A Book Review
Dove into "Crowned A Traitor" and found a world where loyalty is tested and freedom's price is high. 📚 A mixed bag of deep themes and character dilemmas. My thoughts? A solid 4/5 - worth the journey into darkness. #FantasyBookReview #QuestForFreedom
Genre: Fantasy Fiction, Dark Fantasy Rating: 4 Unveiling the Depths of Hell and Heart Kate Callaghan’s “Crowned A Traitor” is a dark fantasy that takes readers on a tumultuous journey through the realms of Hell to the mystical lands of Kalos. 💔“Sonny, don't you tell me what's worthwhile - true love is the best thing in the world, except for cough drops. Everybody knows that.” Ok, so what can I say? I don't know how I missed this book and also its movie adaptation for so long, but I do regret it. Because it was so good. The experience of reading this book was really unusual and so special. This summer I'm enjoying light funny absurd books and this one is a gem on such a list. So for those who don't know about this book - it's an absurd humorous fairy-tale re-telling with really cool characters and an engaging plot. But the most important thing is really not in it all. It's in the way the book was written, how the writer interacts with the reader and tells his story. It's super hard for me to write some descriptive thoughtful review - I just want to recommend it to anyone who wants to have some fun. It's not long, so it will not take a lot of your time, but it's amazing. 📖“Everyone had told her, since she became a princess-in-training, that she was very likely the most beautiful woman in the world. Now she was going to be the richest and the most powerful as well. Don't expect too much from life, Buttercup told herself as she rode along. Learn to be satisfied with what you have.” #book #books #bookstagram #fantasy #fantasybooks #fantasybookstagram #theprincessbride #theprincessbridequote #williamgoldman #bookreview #bookrecommendations #fantasybookreview #fantasybookrecommendations https://www.instagram.com/p/ChZ01-6oRUo/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Angelfall! A fantasy sci-fi romance thriller and what not! when I tell you this book has everything! The writing is really great and the Characters all are very well developed and have so much dimension, our main character penryn is rlly cool and even though she’s a complete badass she doesn’t have that “not like other girls reject femininity” mind set which I love. The conflict is great and this book kept me glued to the page for hours, okay I could ramble about this book forever but then I’m afraid I’ll spoil so if you are looking for a book with a enemies to lovers thriller sorta fantasy sci-fi thing going on this is your pick.

Legendborn
By TRACY DEONN
(Spoiler free )
Tumblr media
My honest review
I loved this book and would rate it a 9/10 and here’s why
Age recommended : 12+
It’s about 16 year old bree Mathews after she recently lost her mother in a car accident she wants to escape her home town so she accepts an place at a residential program for bright high schoolers with her best friend Alice Chen .
On her first she witness a flying demon feeding off human energies and find out of a secret society called the legendborn and a mage who class himself a ‘merlin’ who attemptes and fails to wipe her memory of what happened
His failure unlocks a hidden memory from the night her mother died and her magic . Now she is willing to do whatever she needs to find out what really happened that night
This is a fantasy YA novel following the story of bree Mathews a young woman of colour story of grief and magic and some of the racial discrimination she faces in joining the order
As a mixed race female who has when though similar experiences to bree with grief and discrimination ( besides the whole magic part ) it was lovely to see character who I could relate to
The order is also based on arthurian legend and the order of the 12 knights and their descendants and root craft
Also there are queer Poc characters and there is also a Non binary character who goes by they/them pronouns and the characters don’t make a big deal about any of the other LGBTQIA characters and it’s not treated as a forbidden secret
I believe the next book will also be called BLOOMARKED and this is to be a trilogy the second book should be released around early 2022
This book will Always hold a place in my heart

Review of Someday I'll Be Redeemed by Kelly Blanchard
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 4 out of 5. Pages: 468 Where to buy: Amazon Love me a mysterious cloaked guy with magical fire coming from his hands! The book cover had me picking up this book. Sooooo…I will admit I read book 2 and it has left me a bit wanting, so this review of book one might be colored by my feelings for book two. I’ll be honest, there was plenty in this book that usually…

Have you registered for a chance to win a hardcover copy of The Final Strife!?! Link in bio: @sistahscifi. Reposted from @jemofabook Do you have any anticipated releases for the rest of the year? • May I suggest The Final Strife by @saaraelarifi? I loved it so much that I preordered both the US and UK editions because I couldn’t decide which I wanted more. • The Final Strife is inspired by Ghanian folklore and Arabian mythology. There are strong social, economic, political, and class divisions amongst the people, but rather than being divided along the color of their skin, they are divided by the color of their blood. We follow the three POVs of young women in each of three different blood classes • My full review is up on Goodreads, so check it out for a detailed gush, but some a highlights: ❤️ The pacing was superb. I was invested from the very beginning. There were lots of twists and gasp-worthy moments 🏳️‍🌈 This is a queernorm world with three genders. All three of our main characters are representative of different queer identities (so it’s a perfect read for #pridemonth 🧡 The author also tackles difficult questions around colonization, privilege, power, rebellion, and even environmental issues.  💛 We have physical disability representation! And it’s bilateral upper limb amputations, which is near and dear to my heart. This along with removal of tongues is a punishment inflicted on one of the blood classes, so it’s dark, but very well handled 💚 The character arcs of our three MCs were phenomenal. I loved how one of the big things that two of our characters deal with is having to deconstruct childhood beliefs 💙 There are so many more things I love, like the worldbuilding, the storytelling aspect, the magic system, the romance, the exploration of addiction, the social commentary, the writing itself, and so much more • @delreybooks @penguinrandomhouse • #SistahScifi #thefinalstrife #saaraelarifi #bookreview #debutauthor #fantasybookreview #adultfantasybooks #fantasybookstagram #bookrecommendations #WestAfricanYAFantasy #YAFantasy #yabooks (at Sistah Scifi) https://www.instagram.com/p/CgLJnqnpupC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The premise of this book sounded slightly ridiculous to me, but I suspected that in Naomi Novik’s capable hands it could turn into something really fun. – Robin
Our curator Robin reviewed Naomi Novik’s A Deadly Education. Curious what she has to say about it? https://escapevelocitycollection.com/review-a-deadly-education-naomi-novik/
