I've had a sudden rise in 'faves and purchases on this excellent nod to the film (if I do say so myself) peanut jar in recent weeks.

How did you come up with your blog name? I started a Facebook account for some less than nefarious shananigans under the name The Dred Pirate Roberts. Once Facebook figured out I was not, in fact, THE The Dred Pirate Roberts they insisted I use my own name. Of course, I and everyone else in North America had a Facebook page in our own names, so I chose a less obvious alias. Dagney was my grandmother’s name. She was a “_____sen” as many Scandinavians are. I took the Robert from my pirate friend and added the son because. 

TL:DR  It’s a pen name.

Why did you make your blog? I enjoy collecting things I do not have to find storage for.

How long have you had it? Maybe three years.

How many followers do you have? About 400 as Dagney, I have two other blogs, one is for my writing and personal growth and the third is my Vanilla-Sexy blog.

What do you share/post about most? Art: Japanese block prints, painted, written, musical, photographic, owls, metaphysics, desserts, Shakespeare, Geishas, pirates and anything else I geek out about. The title “What Strikes My Fancy” is pretty self explanatory.

What do you share/post about the least?

Politics, porn.

What do you think your followers think of you? I mean…400? I suppose most of them are folks I follow who follow me back. I’m fairly obscure IRL.  I guess they figure I’m some old, grey haired lady who like art? Bwahahaha.

Well, Cary Elwes in his prime, maybe. The Dred Pirate Roberts? Absolutely. The Princess Bride, great movie. Plus, who doesn’t want to hear “As you wish” at least some of the time.
