- “CINEMASCOPE” A series of lights could be seen in the sky; the same as stars but somehow different as if they were emanating their light at a different frequency just on the edge of human vision. The animals cowered and moved slowly, backing away to find cover, shackles up and teeth gnarled more in fear than aggression. Far off in the distance the faint sound of sirens could be heard through the eclipse like silence, a sign perhaps that there was still a modicum of order across the CinemaScope that is human existence.
