i've been locked in since yesterday (wrote the 5000 yesterday), and now im hoping to get to at least 17000 today. much easier since i FINALLY figured out what i disliked about a scene that was making it hard to write + i'm writing the conversation with dick and peter about peter's life story and i know this kid's trauma like the back of my hand

This seemed like such a throwaway point in the chapter but!!! I love these moments of the Strawhats doing their Thing. You have Luffy rushing straight towards the first sign of danger, Sanji scolding Zoro for enabling Luffy, but I just wanted to highlight Chopper translating animal speak, and Nami sneaking around like the thief she is!! and stealing a map!!!

It felt like forever since I saw both of them do that (I was watching earlier episodes and was thinking how useful it was for Chopper to understand animals and that little panel made me happy lol), so seeing all of their dynamic working together again was just so so good 🙏
