so they've finally got Dragonsteel 2024 stuff up on Arcanum, so here's the full quote about comparing Kaladin and Moash to Magneto and Professor X:

It is infinitely funny to me that if Moash was a real life person his course of action would most likely mirroring that of the Claim Adjuster. Like after a certain amount of peaceful protest and incremental changes and asking for your rights but don't try to rock the boat TOO much direct action actually works huh Also even funnier to see the parallel between the way the news circus covering the case and trying to maintain the status quo and the people whinging about Moash's action in a series that actively celebrate the class hierarchy and characters who directly benefited from enslavement. (sending this without reading the newest book because just like Moash I am mostly unchained from B$'s slough had it not been for Kal)

i don’t necessarily disagree with anything you’ve said, but i don’t like to compare current events to books. as annoyed as i get about people whinging about moash, complaining about a fictional character isn’t at all the same as pushing a narrative about a real life assassination
