I thought he might be in IT, or be an engineer, something entrepreneurial or perhaps even the hard sciences, though I can’t say why I thought that.’ Efnisien looked back towards the couple, swallowing. ‘And after a fairly devastating night where I fell in love – after never, ever believing that sort of thing was possible – we said our goodbyes. Sandman s2, confirmed news!

I see a lot of speculation on the topic, so as someone who has closely followed and confirmed information, I am comprising this thread of confirmed Season 2 leaks that I will update regularly.

This is inspired by @orionsangel86 rant, and I have no real following here for people to listen to me, but I hope this will allow the fandom to discover me as a Sandman creator.

All information has been thoroughly confirmed, and some of it was found by me. I will try to keep the chronological order:

1. Ruairi O'Connor is our Orpheus

Well...I don't have to explain, the man's face is on there, plus Melissanthi Mahut follows him on Instagram

2. Esme Creed Miles is our Delirium

Back in August, we suspected Esme Creed Miles had joined the cast of the Sandman as our Delirium when Lourdes Faberes posted this picture with this caption:

Soon after the entire cast followed Esme and since then have interacted and been in the same place multiple times including last week when Donna and Mason were filming:

3. Barry Soloane is our Destruction

His wife spoiled it, and he has it on top of his acting credits. He is followed by all of the Endless and Neil on Instagram, and they interact regularly.

4. Midsummer Night's dream is filmed/being filmed

As you can see from this leaked call sheet from the same day, the scenes included elves and fairies + the caravan + the people who asked what was filmed on their walk basically confirms Midsummer Night's Dream

5. Wanda and Ruby's characters are being merged and are being played by Indya Moore

We have no further information on the changing of storylines.

+ a lot of minor roles have been confirmed as well but those are of no vitality.

6. Names of six of the supposed 12 episodes have leaked

!!The next ones are speculations since we cannot confirm them but it is quite likely as timelines fit:

1. Ferdinand Kingsley has filmed the Season of Mists dream sequence

The only clue we have of that, is that he maintained a hairstyle similar to Hob's with a longer beard for a while and has recently chopped it all off.

2. Filming of "Season of Mists" in Brighton Pavillion on the 20th of February

According to eyewitnesses, the production was humongous, the extras and actors were dressed in gothic/mythical/monster/horror attire, which excludes the location from being Destiny's garden or have anything to do with the Family dinner, leaving Season of Mists as the most plausible conclusion

3. On-site location filming on Castle Arce in the week of March 15th

The Castle Arce area has lots of mazey parts, dare I say Destiny's garden, but that is pure speculation. (I just found these so I have not had the time to decipher them properly).

3. Destiny will be POC

I sincerely hope that to be true. The only semi-clue we have that suggests this might be true is the picture from Lourdes (above with Esme) and the fact that Adrian Lester is in the picture, but he is not part of the cast or seen in leaks anywhere. We hope for news soon.

Those are all leaks compiled in a comprehensive list to avoid further speculation. I will be updating the list accordingly and if anyone has questions, feel free to send them my way, I feel confident in all the ones that we have confirmed to be true.

Soo um the short answer is filters! My art doesn't actually look like that irl hehe. My camera can't really capture the colors well so I just go ham with filters.

This is mostly how my mangle drawing looks like irl, as you may see it's WILDLY different.

As for supplies They're all super cheap. I tend to use school supplies cuz expensive ones are SO SCARYYY. This one's done with random markers, Faber castle colored pencils ( the kids ones) and lastly a dollar store fountain pen for extra details. If ur looking for a similar color pallete as mine id get the carioca pastel markers, they draw wonderfully!

a london ornament

the first illustration displays digital reissue of monotype’s recutting [english monotype 218] of an arabesque unit, which d.l. vervliet attributes to robert granjon¹. vervliet found its first display in the office of london printer henry bynneman in 1569 [2nd illustration²], & notes: granjon founts had arrived around this time in london; exiled antwerp punchcutter françois guyot was residing in london & «is known to have provided types to printer john day»³. vervliet gets his dates from oastler⁴, but oastler only mentions that day was among the first london printers to use guyot types, & françois’ son, gabriel guyot, «may have been instrumental» in bringing to london the guyot double pica italic. oastler does give evidence that guyot, his family, & servants resided in john day’s house in 1568 (françois returned to antwerp in 1570, where he died shortly thereafter). vervliet dismisses guyot as the ornament’s designer on aesthetic grounds.⁵  as evidenced by his italics guyot was an admirer of granjon; indeed, harry carter views guyot’s types as «revolutionary in effect, bringing an archaic regional typography almost into line with Paris» ⁶. the oldest know type specimen by a founder who was not also a printer⁷ is confirmed by carter to show the types of françois guyot; the sheet survived for having been bound in with a set of elizabethan proclamations—arguably, guyot prepared the sheet as advertisement of his types to london printers⁸: on it appears a solitary ornament, a vine leaf [3rd illustration⁹]. granjon cut many vine leaves—no surprise to find guyot’s version. however, i must disagree with vervliet on one point: bynneman’s ornament i do not find particularly granjonesque, & the engraving of guyot’s vine leaf seems consistent with the hand that cut bynneman’s ornament.  it is conceivable that day held strikes of guyot ornaments—his property or that of guyot—to cast sorts for use in his office or to sell to other london printers, such as bynneman.

10, 14, and 25 for Faber?

10. What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?

So, weirdly, I came up with a story idea for him but I like the story idea so much that he's going to get replaced with a new original character (though I suppose they're going to share some similarities!)

Honestly, Faber's such a solid "performer" that he'd be fun to lead any other story. I haven't come up with anything else specific to him, but any kind of situation where I can put that boy in distress is one that generally appeals to me, lmao. I've weirdly thought about crime scenarios with him, like, 'hypercompetent potential victim of a serial killer who comes under Caleb's protection and is really Mad About It except his life is in danger.' That kind of stuff is a lot of fun to think about!

14. How does your OC want to be seen by other characters?

Faber wants to be seen as competent but not as competent as he actually is, and generally otherwise, outside of Caleb, he doesn't want to be seen at all. But he's got complicated feelings about it! His feelings on being seen relate to how he devalues himself and also believes he's better off not trying for his goals or hoping for anything better, so it becomes part of a vicious cycle.

That being said, he was raised to be quiet and precise and skilled, and anything that requires him to break out from that makes him desperately uncomfortable. So if people perceive him as quiet, precise and skilled, he's in his comfort zone.

25. What is your favorite thing about your OC?

Honestly his potential right now. He's such a strong character in the sense that he can really carry a heavy, complex narrative. Not all of my characters can? Some are more suited to like single narrative arcs that aren't too complex (like say, Janusz and Nate, where I love their story, but it's not like Faber's where there's two million things going on).

Faber's the first character in a while actually, where I've felt this way, probably since Efnisien at the end of Spoils of the Spoiled? So I don't get this feeling for characters often, even my own. Like, it's been Gwyn, Augus, Mosk, Efnisien, Flitmouse and now Faber. And I think Faber is probably up on the same tier level for me personally as Gwyn, Augus and Efnisien in terms of how much I want to write him.

Which...for a new character that wasn't created within the Fae Tales verse or some fanfiction, is really exciting to me!

Obrolan seusai sholat isya dgn Pak Rangga,

Seketika flashback tahun 94/95, berbekal ambisi orgtua agar anak-anaknya jago ngaji dan bisa jadi qori', aku dan kakak ku TPA yg bukan di masjid dekat rumah. Dulu sih rasanya pasti males lah yaa suruh berangkat TPA. Tapi krn Bapak dan ibuk adalah orgtua yg cukup disiplin, jadi tidak ada kata malas. Termasuk disiplin waktu. Jaman dulu, pulang sekolah itu nggak sampe sore kyak anak jaman skrg. Jam 10 atau 11 udah di rumah. Walopun cuma 1-2 jam tetep nyempetin maen sm temen, entah sepedaan atau pasaran. Adzan dzuhur harus pulang, sholat di rumah, no excuse. Setelah sholat, harus makan dan tidur siang. Adzan ashar udah dibangunin buat sholat, mandi dan siap2 berangkat TPA.

Saat itu orgtua ku sgt mengutamakan kualitas pengajarnya, bukan krn turah duit, bukan. Tapi krn mimpi orgtua ku sangat besar. Aku dan kakak ku di sekolahkan di AMM Kotagede. Bagi yg tau, sampul iqro' bagian belakang ada foto kakek bertongkat di situ, nah beliau lah pemilik AMM ini, alm. Bapak As'ad Humam namanya.

SPPnya bisa jadi lebih mahal dari SPP TK ABA ku. Belum lagi seragamnya, ada 3 jenis seragam waktu itu, warna merah, biru dan krem. Dan jgn ditanya, anak-anak di sini kebanyakan diantar naik mobil oleh orgtuanya atau driver pribadi. Dan saat itu aku diantar Bapak dgn YAMAHA V75 nya. Kebayangkan betapa jomplangnya hidup ini wkwkwk.

Aku ingat betul setiap hari Jumat jadwal pelajaran hafalan dan kaligrafi. Teman-temanku bawa pastel yg segede koper. Tau kan yg model gimana. Sedangkan aku cukup pensil warna faber castle yg ukuran kecil. Tapi alhamdulillaah, aku selalu dapat hadiah krn hasil kaligrafiku dapat nilai bagus.

Sampai akhirnya aku dan kakak ku sudah lulus kelas TQA. Oh yaa, jadi utk sekolah di AMM ini ada 3 grade. Mulai dari TKA, TPA dan terakhir TQA. Klo udah lulus TKA ada acara kenaikan tingkat ke TPA. Begitupun setelah TPA ke TQA. Setelah TQA, acaranya bukan kenaikan kelas lagi, tapi sudah wisuda. Krn dulu gedungnya terbatas, wisuda selalu diadakan di grahasaba UGM dan mengundang menteri agama. Meskipun waktu itu masih TK, tapi sudah ada rasa bangga ketika di wisuda dan berjabat tangan dgn pak menteri.

Perjuangan blm berakhir sampe wisuda TQA. Justru ini baru awal perjuangan. Bapak dan ibuku sepakat melanjutkan kami utk kursus qiro'ah. Tempatnya bukan di AMM lagi, tapi di Mu'adz bin Jabbal. Jadwal kursusnya sungguh mengejutkan kami yg masih anak-anak. Kami kursus setiap hari Jumat dan Ahad. Jumat setelah jumatan dan Ahad jam 7 pagi. Padahal prioritas kami adalah nonton kartun, bukan qiro'ah, wkwkwk.

Dan waktu berjalan begitu cepat, sekolah SD ku juga mengadakan ekskul qiro'ah setiap hari Rabu. Aku dan kakak ku sudah mulai aktif mengikuti lomba-lomba MTQ. Orgtua kami pun mengundang guru privat utk melancarkan bacaan qur'an. Setiap Selasa kami privat di rumah. Jadi hanya ada 3 hari free utk kami bermain tanpa ada tanggungan qiro'ah. Belum lagi setiap mendekati hari H lomba MTQ, guru kami selalu menyempatkan utk berlatih lebih sering, pulang sekolah masih gobyos keringat krn mengayuh sepeda langsung buka qur'an utk latihan persiapan lomba. Pernah sampe nangis krn saking capeknya pulang sekolah tp nafas nggak sampe di nada tinggi, ayat itu di ulang ulang sampai akhirnya bisa.

Saat itu mungkin ingin marah dan menyerah, tapi sekarang aku benar-benar bersyukur atas itu. Kalau saja orgtua ku tidak mengarahkan utk sekolah dan kursus, aku hanya murid biasa tanpa prestasi. Kalau saja guru ku tdk sekeras itu, aku tidak akan pernah mencapai juara-juara hingga tingkat provinsi. Kalau saja saat itu aku marah dan menyerah, aku tidak akan bisa lancar mengaji dan qiro'ah.
