YOOOOOOOO CREATURE OF HABIT WAS SO GOOD! Today I literally procrastinated on my graduate school homework to read it lol and oh my god it pulled me in. Charlie is my personal favorite Smiling Friend and you wrote him SO well, you achieved the perfect blend of inner turmoil and comedic moments in this slow burn. It deserves all the fanart it’s been getting (which was what brought me to the fic) and you should be so proud 💛🩷

i wrote creature of habit for myself really. i was trying to find a way to cope with leaving for college (i did my first two years at a local community college and i literally just left home two weeks ago). i wanted to express my fear of being stuck in my own habits, comforts and routine. i wanted change. but i was SO afraid of change. i felt stuck, and i felt afraid. if i’m being honest, i still am- but writing is such a lovely coping mechanism.

smiling friends is like a guilty pleasure show, and it’s made me laugh when i’ve been in a rut. so i wanted to combine my fear of change and my favorite tv show— plus sprinkle a little yaoi in there.

i really didn’t expect to get this much traction for my self indulgent fic- and every day i’m beyond thankful for comments like yours, fanart, and all of the little likes i get on my silly little posts.

all of this is to say; thank you. you literally made my day, i’m grinning ear to ear at my stupid phone. thank you tiny gay people who live in my phone. i am kissing you on the forehead. we are holding hands and watching the sunset. thank you, thank you, thank you :) ❤️❤️

tumblr is wild. my friends and genuine lifelong bonds I've made on here are making posts talking about how they appreciate and love me and my boyfriend (who I also met through tumblr) because us being sweet together on the dash makes them happy. then i go back to reblogging the clip of charlie slimecicle in the shower rubbing soap on his chest making his tits bounce and honestly I wouldn't have it any other way peak website peak performance this is amazing. 12/10 no notes

when I saw you posted another chapter to bfta, I literally DIED . it was genuinely moving enough for me to reread all the chapters before it (since I had in the past and was waiting very happily for the newest.) i HAVE TO SAY I ADORE how you portray every single character you write: they are all loveable and feel undoubtedly in character/lifelike to me it's insane. mind blowing. I've had genuine massive bursts of just HYSTERIA BECAUSE OF HOW HAPPY SOME OF THE INTERACTIONS IN THESE FICS GO!!! it's genuinely crazy and has been pretty much ruining my life/POS ever since I first read through. IM SO REAL AND HONEST RIGHT NOW I'm hanging on to every fucking word within an inch of my life and I swear I feel some of the struggles that are being dealt with in my bones;; they are so relatable and it's lead me to start trying to figure myself out further. I'm so excited for more chapters and I do know you're going through it so I hope you recover well 🩷

Also I didn't realise this until I saw that Dana new hexside kids art again but like. Skara and Matt? Probably friends now! They go on missions/adventures together. Have mutual friends and enemies. Generally seem to get along on screen and in art.
