So Prime Shockwave is now stuck in G1 dimension because of some weird experiment, and he bonds with the only slightly smart mech he finds, Soundwave, of course... his G1 counterpart is too goofy to be engaged with.

They are trying to make their new relationship work, and they start listing things they have in common... then they make out (don't ask how, we don't wanna know)

(fear not this is far from finished... but I underestimated both Shockwave's design and how hard it is to draw digitally. So here'sa sneak peek of a small comic)

got so fucking pissed off trying to clear low hacks eight's palette in side order that i went and drew my favorite wet cat and their fucked up codependent manipulator. also AGH just realized the stripy texture layer is too opaque but it's too late to go back and change it now WHY DID I FLATTEN THE IMAGE

oh well. the over-texturing kind of fits. i guess.

*the song linked (rachie's english cover of undead alice) is a romantic song but i do wanna note that i don't ship these two together. in my headcanon they have something extremely fucked up, but strictly platonic, going on. it's just that the first two verses (and some other parts tbh) of the song really do fit whatever the hell is going on with these two, to me.
