So Originally I was you know randomly looking around the Marvel wiki for character to be fun to draw saw this character called Foxx…uh spoiler I guess she is actually Mystique…well good news for me I wanted to draw here transitioning whoo two birds one stone gotta love it.

So Foxx like I said is Mystique who had Fox like abilities, hunting tracking good since of smell I guess…and uh She was seducing Gambit…who lets remember is with Rogue at the time, She claimed she was "testing him to see if he was worthy for Rogue" and if he failed she was going to Hook her up with a mutant called Pulse who apparently has the ability to neutralize mutations. Think like Eraserhead before he was a thing…wanna point out dude never is really shown after this plot line.

Pulse apparently while never met Rogue, was massively in love with her? due to Mystique's like manipulations…and did try and Rogue shot him down.

 Oh wanna add the real reason she did this is because she is worried about Rogues relationship with Gambit because of lack of physical touch. -face palm- Where is the wtfcomics guy aka NikhilClayton on tiktok when you need them because seriously Marvel WTF

Why is it when I see a character I like the look of it always has like some of the most weird backstory?

FOxx - O.D. Machine

"... very similar to the FOxx Clean Machine. ... . The OD Machine is a drive monster with 4 settings on a rotary switch (like the Clean Machine). First position is Normal, then 3 drive settings. Unlike the Clean Machine, this one has a tone stack with an extra control on the side. Also, unlike the Clean Machine, the Normal setting goes through the tone stack, so sounds different than bypass. There was some rotting foam in this, and the rotary mode switch was shot - just turned all the way around and only the normal setting came out. ... Fuzzy purple enclosure is in great shape. The paper stickers for the controls is also missing. At the end I include a schematic for the tone stack - pretty simple as it comes at the output of the PCB using a 50K linear pot."

As much as I love comics, I‘m not afraid to admit that they can get really RRREEEAAALLLYYY weird!

Case in point: I love Mystique as a villain, but that time she tried to lure Gambit away from her adoptive-daughter Rogue by disguising herself as a new student at the Xavier Institute to seduce him was… like... what do you even say to that?!

I’m not even kidding, look it up! That's a thing that actually happened once in the comics!

Specifically in Peter Milligan’s run on Uncanny X-Men, wherein Mystique created the alias “Foxx” to infiltrate the school and lure Gambit away from Rogue, and then immediately joined the X-Men for a short time before betraying them again.

Again to reiterate... sometimes comics can be just plain darn weird...
