In the ST fandom heyday, I'd blocked that ship tag, and I'd even blocked iterations of k*lo/b*n's name, but fanworks of that ship were always popping up in the fnnrey/jsp/fnnpoe/klux/KoR tags, and I think that short of blocking r*y's name, I couldn't avoid it. That gets really irritating after a while, and while I think that a lot of the discourse (in both directions) was excessive, I don't think being annoyed at the complete inability to avoid a notp is unjustified.
