I think Gege's final letter about Jujutsu Kaisen solidified my belief that the time constraints of weekly releases make really talented creators into really uninspired ones. At the speed mangakas have to go, they simply don't have the time to be thoughtful or careful in constructing their stories. That's why so many beloved mangas begin to tank in later chapters -- everyone is simply burnt out.
