We caught up with Frank Bello of Anthrax to discuss his memoir "Fathers, Brothers, and Sons: Surviving Anguish, Abandonment, and Anthrax," co-authored with Joel McIver, and a foreword by Gene Simmons of KISS. The book goes on sale Novemer 2nd, 2021 from Rare Bird Books! It had been ten years since we interviewed Frank at The Big Four at Yankee Stadium in 2011, and we chatted about the book, working with Joel McIver, many details of his childhood, his early move to The Bronx, his family dynamic with his uncle Charlie Benante, how he met KISS as a teenager, buying records at local record stores, how he went from Anthrax roadie to bassist, the tragic death of his brother Anthony, and many other ups and downs in his life, and a hillarious story about Kirk Hammett!
