"Who's this? She looks like that basketball player" Connor grabbed the picture frame from the end table next to the couch. She looked very familiar to him.

"Oh that's Nico, my girlfriend" Matt looked over his shoulder smiling. He didn't want to brag about her accomplishments.

"Nico? I know Nico, that's Brock's friend" Connor made a little hmm noise. He put the photo down and moved not really thinking about it anymore.

Matthew couldn't tell you why but the way Connor said Brock's friend kinda rubbed him the wrong why and it planted a couple seeds of doubt in his mind.

And now that he's thought about it more, Nico has been busier recently because it was tournament time and she had practice and games.

But looking at her stories recently it did seem like she was hangout with someone lately, and someone had to be taking the photos. Maybe that person was Fabes.

"Matt? Babe are you there?" Nico ran her hand in front of the screen making sure she still had Matt's attention. He shook his head out, re focusing back on her. "Good there you.

"Nothing I'm fine. All Good." He put a little more emphasis on the all.

"Matthew" She could hear it in his voice, he was being bothered by something. And it didn't take him long to spill what it was. He told her

"Are you jealous of Brock?" She interrupted him in the middle of his train of thought. Thinking the whole was a bit funny to her, she giggled.

"It's not funny Nic. You guys just seem really really close. That's all." Matthew pouted.

"I'm sorry Matt. But he and I are just friends. I had a project with Mags for a class, he was there, and asked if I wanted to hang out with the team for a bit. It's nothing silly boy" Her explanation of the situation made sense to him and put his fears at bay for a bit.

They both hoped this would be the last time this thing came up.

Andy had to be honest with her husband. There was something that had been bothering her ever since she found out about her latest pregnancy.

“I’m glad we’re having another baby, don’t get me wrong, but I hate that we’re so close to becoming elders,” she admitted. “Our baby won’t even be a child when we get our next birthdays. And then who knows how long we’ll have with the watcher’s dice rolls for elder deaths!”

“Oh babe,” Jericho sighed and took her hands in his. “I know... I’m worried about that too.”

“You are?” Andy seemed surprised. “You just seem so... care-free about all of this.”

“It’s a coping mechanism! I’ve got the erratic trait! I’m constantly freaking the fuck out! Don’t you know me at all?!” Jer exclaimed, causing Andy to actually laugh out loud.

“You manage to hide it well sometimes. I forget,” she smiled softly.

“Yeah, well...” Jericho shrugged. “But hey. Listen. It’s okay to feel anxious. Do you remember when you were pregnant with Alaric? You were scared shitless. You weren’t even sure you wanted kids at that time. But you still turned into a fantastic mom.”

“This is different-” Andy protested.

“I know... But you know what? I also know for a fact that we’ve got three other great kids that’ll step up. Alaric, Caeley, Fabe… They would never leave their little brother or sister in the dust.”
