Except Tim kind of got it now. The price of being a vigilante. He was still torn up after his failed training trip to France and his father hadn't woken up yet but he visited every day after school. Sometimes peeked through the window on patrol if he was in the area.

The grief was always eating away at him in the background. He sometimes found his feet pulling him to the cemetery where Mom was buried.

Was it really any wonder that Batman went nuts if this was what he'd been dealing with? And was still dealing with?

"You had that look on your face." He mumbled back once he'd finally realised he hadn't pulled away and immediately did so like he'd be zapped. "Dick had that look on face the other week when I asked about..."

today's [ although the day has almost ended ] [28th] marked my first year anniversary of the dgm/exorcist au! I'm kinda glad I haven't given up on this au even though it has rotten my brain with some dark content I make with my own mind...
