#Ezra surrounded by “This is the way” would be hilarious

Forgive me is a little long😅:
I'm sure after coming back home Ezra won't stay there that much knowing that:
-Thawn is back so even the Empire, with this Lothan may be attacked sooner or later and the Galaxy in general is in danger.
-Sabine,Ahsoka and Hyuang stayed behind, he would have preferred being blocked on Peridea with Thawn than this to happen,he wanted to come back ,but with Sabine. So he will come back to help her and co.
What if Ezra show up in Mandalorian S4 and meet Mando e Bo katan(she already knows him) and learn more things about Mandalorians and maybe forging him some beskar parts(he will be literally surrounded by them spamming "This is the way" at this point)?
Maybe he will go with chopper and jacen too because he will become his Padawan?? (Hera and Zeb may join them later.)
I had this through after rewatching Hyuan saying to Ezra about Sabine's family fate but now he may want to check it himself.
Mandalor is very important for the Empire so maybe Thawn may try to occupate it again with the help of the Great Mother's and others Empire cells?
So Ezra help Mando and Katan that understand the big problem that Thawn is for Mandalor and their people and decide to go with him.
It may connect everything for the film or whatever they are planning, with at the end Ezra and co leaving and finding Sabine and Ahsoka or meet them at half-way.
I need to elaborate this thoughts more.
I just can't wait for Ezra and Sabine to meet again and this time without separation, lets be patient like they have done till now.
Ezra a Jedi with Mandalorian knowledge and Sabine a Mandalorian with Jedi knowledge is the Strongest couple that I know in Star Wars😅.
I'm having many theories and thoughts after the end of Ahsoka that I may rewatching Mandalorian S3 and share them when I have time.
-
Sorry for not being much a talker but I really want you all to know that I appreciate the Sabezra community and all the positive people I have see here.
I'm really happy to have join it a month ago(I have been shipping them for 9 years but you know Im not much a talker🤣✌️).
I will be more active now and wait with you all the Sabezra reunion even if it may takes a while🔥.
Sincerely I waited 9 years for them to became canon and for all the hits the Ahsoka show gave us waiting a little more won't be a deal.
Sabine as a Jedi is clearly an attempt from her to be part of her future boyfriend's world. Naturally, Ezra should try to learn how to be a Mandalorian now.
If she has his lightsaber, then maybe he should have an armor with a Clan Wren pauldron.
#Sabezra#Theory time#Ezra surrounded by “This is the way” would be hilarious#Like: what is this people problem ahahah#ahsoka show and mandalorian possible connection#bo katan and din#Im here even if it takes a while#sorry for the long post I made it the shortest possible#strongest couple#full of thoughts 🤔#They will meet again

01. The Crown
Pairing: Josh Fatu / Jey Uso x Ezmeralda Bey / Aries
Synopsis: Devoted to her craft and her family, WWE Superstar Ezmeralda has a library of accolades accomplished on her own and by the side of her family like never before. As she leads the Women's Revolution to glory, romance seems to find her at the most unexpected moment... in the ring.
Warning(s): SFW, OC is a black woman, swearing, WWE-canon violence, Non-scripted fights, body shaming, body insecurities, WWE's consistant misogyny is blatant until later chapters, etc.
Cross-posted: Wattpad
"Howdy, howdy, the name's Ezmeralda Bey a.k.a Aries. I am 1/3 of the tag team, the Three Sins with my twin older brothers – Ezra and Ezekiel, also known as Hubris and Nemesis. My career, unlike the other women of the roster, consists of me breaking down and conflicting havoc amongst both the men and women divisions."
"I've won the Intercontinental title, the tag team titles, the U.S title, the Divas, and even the WWE Championship title. To some, they don't like it because it's either I'm trying too hard to replace Chyna – who was one of my trainers by the way – or it's supposedly impossible for me as a 5'2, nearly 210-pound woman to take down a man. I find it hilarious because well, that's all I did growing up was fighting. Regardless your size, your age, your gender – you piss me off, I'm coming for you. As a matter of fact, all my siblings are like this."
A split screen appears. On the left was a montage of all the Divas from the past and the present while on the right was a montage of Ezmeralda and her appearance both on and off camera. It made note that the woman fancied a darker, tomboy image rather than dresses and heels.
Her cloud of dark brown curls was always either pulled into a puff, braided, or let loose and constantly switched between matching the theme of her outfit and staying natural. Her makeup appearance was dark consisting of black lip liner and clear gloss combo paired with a smoky eye and exaggerated eyeliner.
When it came to her physical appearance, she was thicker than others as her little pudge happily poked out and thrived. Despite the obvious thickness of skin that surrounded her, she carried a balanced amount of muscle that took the spotlight whenever she flexed or had to toss someone on their head.
Although, she wasn't the most model-esque woman on the roster, she was a living example of destruction and beauty intertwined. And she'd be damned and if someone would try to make her feel insecure.
"I am a member of one of the royal WWE families known as the Woods-Bey family. Our family of wrestlers consists of so many blood relatives and even those who aren't blood, but they were trained by my family and adopted some of our moves. My mother, who hails from this family, is known as Titan and the former frenemy of Chyna whereas my father is known as Lycon."
"I'm not gonna lie, because of my abilities as well as being in a faction with my brothers, I do get a lot more screen time than the regular Divas. I never had to kiss ass for it to happen or anything, but it's just my family legacy. That's my story, you know? My brothers and I are one of the top faces of the company."
Just days until Wrestlemania and no matter where Ezmeralda was to go, chaos seems to follow as Superstars and Divas race from one location to another while roadies unload equipment for testing and designers correct any mistakes before things get out of order.
For someone new to the scene, they'd feel lost and overwhelmed, but for the Bey triplets, this was a part of their childhood. Their stomping grounds.
Meeting with their friends in the hotel's gym, the triplets set out to search for them. As they enter, Jon and Josh instantly meet their eyes and wave them inside. As they step closer to the Fatu twins, a wild pairing of Trinity and Ariane come around the corner. Paying the girls no mind, Ezmeralda takes her turn at greeting the boys. Her and Josh nestled in each other's arms.
"I'm not the most social person in the world, I'm really big on protecting my peace whereas my brothers do all the talking and so forth. However, if I could count how many of my co-workers are my personal friends, it'd take just about four fingers – and that's not including my brothers."
"The Fatu twins and I go back to their FCW days where my brothers and I were their mentors. Jon is like the extra brother, I didn't need, whereas Josh is a bit complicated."
"How you doin' mama?" Josh asks as the two take a set of treadmills right beside each other.
Ezmeralda shrugs, "not too bad. I'm a bit nervous for Wrestlemania, the boys and I have been going over our intro and outfits for days now."
He raises his eyebrows with interest, "ooh, do tell me more." She giggles, shaking her head, "no, sir. It's a surprise, I can't be blowing the surprise out the water and all."
"Since we headin' your family's way for it, you thinking about inviting them?"
She clicks her tongue in thought, "I mean, I personally don't try and force them to come unless it's something really pivotal in like the storyline or a title match, but you know them – they hard headed as hell, can't tell them fools nothin'."
He kisses his teeth, gently smacking her on the arm. "Girl, you gone stop talkin' about my mama."
She pauses, eyes widen in disbelief, "about your who now? Cause I ain't mention not a word about Mama T."
He side eyes her, "you heard what I said. Mama Kala ain't hard headed nor is she a fool."
"She my mama, not yours." He scoffs, "man, not yet. Just you wait cause when I snatch you up and put a ring on it, she gone be my mama, too. Which makes me her spy."
Ezmeralda stops the treadmill mid-walk, allowing herself to comically slide backwards. "Her spy!? Ah, gotta blast."
She jumps off, running around the gym. Josh laughs, chasing her through the gym while Jon and her brothers watch with knowing smiles.
"Since Josh and I became friends, him and his bad ass older brother have always called my parents Mama Kala and Papa E whereas my brothers and I have called their parents, Mama T and Papa Sol. However, for the past year or two when this tension between Josh and I developed, he's been adding on things like how he's gonna marry me this or I'm his lady and he's my man that or whatever."
She tries to shrug off the obvious effect his affections had on her.
"I wouldn't mind allowing Mr. Fatu to take me on a lil' date and impress me; however, at the same time, I don't want that interfering with work. Like, I can and will be going head-to-head with him and his brother. Our characters have this rivalry going on where really, it's just this unforeseen chemistry we all have with each other. Besides, I'm not good at being vulnerable and letting myself be open – I've always been that way. Why you think I'm 31 and single?"
WrestleMania
"Y'all it's Wrestlemania and it's the Deadliest of 'em all, the Three Sins versus The Shield, let's go baby!" She screams, clapping her hands.
The triplets dress in green and black colored outfits. Ezekiel and Ezra wear their pair of wrestling pants designed with asymmetrical patterns and evergreen colored wrestling shoes.
Ezmeralda wears a dual-colored glitter bralette with straps wrapping around her torso and a pair of matching two-toned shorts with fishnets and matching kneepads with evergreen custom sneakers. They walk for the Guerilla, prepared for their match against The Shield.
They stay behind the curtain as the first notes of 'Animal I've Become' by Three Days Grace plays as the pre-chorus hits, they walk out as their green pyro goes off as the crowd roars with excitement, self-made posters sailing through the stadium of over 70,000 fans. This was their moment and Ezmeralda's step closer to a Woman's Revolution, creating history like no other.
The six-man tag match starts off with Ezmeralda and her friend and former protege, Joseph, as the two powerhouses go back and forth, tossing each other around. Minutes pass with a series of tags, pin breakups, and kickouts as all six bodies lay draped from the ring to the apron.
The crowd went as far as doing a 'This is Awesome' chant as Ezmeralda and Joe kept exchanging spears and Samoan drops. After a while, it was time for the match to end as Jonathan pins Ezekiel while Ezmeralda and Ezra lay wasted ring-side.
"It's Wrestlemania, baby!" Ezmeralda cheers in the palms of her hands.

#FemaleFilmmakerFriday: Liza Voloshin, Commercial Video Director
New Post has been published on https://ezraproductions.com/femalefilmakerfriday-liza-voloshin-commercial-video-director/
#FemaleFilmmakerFriday: Liza Voloshin, Commercial Video Director
Ezra Productions is committed to fostering diverse talent in the video production industry. As part of that mission, our Female Filmmaker Friday series highlights best-in-class diverse directors, editors, and DPs from across the globe. This week, we’re excited to present Liza Voloshin.
Liza Voloshin is a NY-based commercial video director dedicated to spreading joy through video production. Liza’s work spans from directing commercials for beauty and fashion brands like Estée Lauder and Barneys, docu-narrative branded content videos for brands like American Express and Nike that feature women’s stories, to narrative film installations that explore the senses with institutions such as the Whitney Museum and Philip Johnson’s Glass House, to music videos with artists such as Adeline and Katy Perry.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with Liza to get a peek into her world and how she got to where she is today.
How and when did you decide to get into the world of video production?
My road to film was anything but typical. As a young refugee growing up in the United States, I was raised in an environment that encouraged safety and pragmatism. And in my case, that meant studying economics and going into investment banking. I felt stuck and uninspired for much of my twenties. My only outlet for freedom was to surround myself by creative people and a close group of friends that encouraged me to pursue inspiring projects. I began first by painting and then photography until I bought my first 8mm camera on Ebay – an old, but sturdy Canon 310xl. But that was it, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to tell stories through moving visual images and to share the way I always try to see the world no matter how difficult it gets – with a little beauty and joy.
Check out this video Liza directed for Nike Women, entitled “‘Zahra Lari: A Moving Portrait.”

Do you have any advice for other women who are in different fields but thinking about getting into film or commercial video production?
Just start. The world of film can often feel like a technical gauntlet, daunting and uninviting, but don’t let the noise deter you. Make a safe space for yourself to experiment and play without judgement – especially your own. Grab a friend, go to nature, wherever inspiration finds you, and have fun. See the work that will come out of your joy, and let that guide you.
What it like being a female in the video production world? How about specifically as a female director? Do you have any funny or horror stories to tell?
There is a French phrase one of my clients told me I remind her of the saying “Main de fer dans un gant de velours,” which means “An iron hand in a velvet glove.” I spend a disproportionate amount of time thinking about the kind of leader I want to be and how I want everyone on the set to feel. My goal is always to create a collaborative environment in which everyone on the set has a clear objective with space to be creative in their role. But the reality is, I’ve been called a bitch and told I don’t know what I’m doing – all by men on the crew. I bet a male director would probably just fire those people and never think about it again, but I do contemplate those moments and what I can do better in the future. And that is a pretty feminine trait.
This reminded us of a hilarious episode of “Flip the Script,” a series written and produced by the amazing Tessa Bell and Meredith Riley Stewart for Women in FIlm:
youtube
Do you think it’s important to help other women in the film industry?
Women were the first ones to take a chance on me and support me. I wouldn’t be creating film today if it wasn’t for the supportive women in my life, both in and out of the film industry. The barriers to entry are high in film, and you do need help from those in spaces of power to show you the way. And that’s why no matter how little much or power you have, you use it wisely and give back to the community around you. I love it when I get an unexpected email from a young woman that wants to explore her career path and talk through getting into film. I always make time for that. Also, I love the men that support women, they are just as important in getting more feminine energy into this industry.
What video production project are you most proud of?
I love what my Director of Photography Chevy Tyler and I created for our triptych called “Join the World: Burgundy” for American Express x Departures Magazine. We had 5 days to film three different stories about next generation winemakers across a large region in France, with a crew of just the two of us and a wonderful camera assistant Archibald Vienot. It was pretty hectic with uncooperative weather and daily long drives to set, but it is one of my favorite documentary shorts I’ve created to date. And it was like bootcamp for wine! I love learning and I think I translated a little bit of that into a final beautiful series.
Take a peek at the video Liza directed for American Express x Departures Magazine:

Well I guess the stars have finally aligned correctly, here’s that post about all the things I don’t like about post-canon Adventures In Wild Space fic and headcanons and theories re. Ezra and Thrawn and why I’m hoping the Ahsoka show surprises me and uses precisely none of it.
1. The Grysk are boring and an unconvincing threat.
You want an extra-galactic adversary that packs a real punch, there’s really no topping the Yuuzhan Vong from Legends’ New Jedi Order series, who on top of being highly intelligent and charismatic fantatic religious crusaders had organic technology that was super freaky and completely alien which made them a much more interesting and legitimate threat.
The Grysk are cheap Walmart bargain bin Vong by comparison. Do they even have personalities? Have we even had any named Grysk at all? The only thing they have going for them is their brainwashing mind control stuff which, again, the Vong did better and creepier.
2. Chiss politics are also boring.
I’m sorry I tried but my eyes glaze over every time. Too many names to remember and it all just seems so tedious.
3. I am terminally uninterested in sympathetic/anti-hero/lionized Thrawn.
I feel like that should be self-explanatory but this fandom is notoriously bad at nuance so I’ll elaborate.
While I don’t mind Thrawn being a complex and interesting and slightly sympathetic villain I am not remotely interested in any storyline that makes excuses for, downplays, retcons, diminishes, or in any way tries to whitewash any of Thrawn’s crimes or misdeeds or otherwise allows him to get off scott-free from the consequences of them.
This is unfortunately why I have to be wary of Timothy Zahn himself as he’s reportedly suggested possessing a personal headcanon about the buildings in Capitol City being empty when Thrawn bombed them in the Rebels finale which... just... just no, Tim. Just no. That’s a stupid retcon and you know it.
Thrawn getting to go back to the Ascendancy as if nothing about his service in the Empire happened is not satisfying to me. I am not interested in seeing him surrounded by sycophants singing his praises and saying what a good and brilliant commander he is. I am not interested in making a sob story out of his motives for joining the Empire. His motives do not matter. It does not make one iota of a difference that he was doing everything “for the good of the Chiss”, none of that makes him a good person and I have zero interest in him being portrayed as such.
4. I don’t like Ezra’s heroism or sacrifice being made less important.
Tangentially related to the above. I don’t like when fics have Thrawn be all, “Well I was planning on leaving the Empire anyway so really you did me a favor.” I don’t like Thrawn immediately dropping hostilities and working with Ezra day one as if the whole purrgiling basically doesn’t affect or phase him at all. I don’t like Zahn’s rumored empty buildings theory because it makes Ezra look like he’s stupid. I’m... ngl... not especially fond of plotlines where Ezra’s reduced to basically the tagalong kid trotting on Thrawn’s heels around the Ascendancy, though it’s more tolerable than other plots admittedly.
I would flip an actual table if they have Ezra go evil. Not even kidding. I do not understand how or why anyone could actually want that.
5. I’m not convinced that Thrawn and Ezra would ever be friends.
Is it hilarious to do in fics/fanart? Oh yes. Do I want it in canon or anything that’s trying to be realistic or serious? No, without some serious legwork put into Thrawn redeeming himself that would stretch my disbelief a bit too far.
Without seeing the legwork, the development, the character growth and growing respect between them, I just will not buy Ezra willingly going with Thrawn to the Ascendancy instead of amicably parting ways and making his way back home.
---
And there you have it, those are Tari’s Grouchy Fandom Lady Opinions about Adventures In Wild Space material and Ashoka Show theories, I would just like to emphasize and disclaim these are my personal thoughts I’m not trying to dictate what anyone should write, fic-wise, just trying to explain why I’m not interested in it and don’t wanna see it onscreen.
#star wars#star wars rebels#ahsoka show#ezra bridger#probably not gonna tag thrawn because i don't want his stans coming to try and convince me that thrawn is just a poor little meow meow#but i WILL tag#dunking on the blue bastard#because he is a bastard and i love him for it#adventures in wild space

Headcanon meme - Ezra (Prospect, 2018)
Um… This has been in my drafts for like... a week already. Ages ago I reblogged this Headcanon meme but I got zero asks. So, being in the mood for headcanons and slightly obsessed with Prospect I just started randomly writing them about Ezra. Somehow I ended up writing the whole meme. Not sure if anyone would be interested to read these, but since I finally got to clean up my drafts, here we go.
No warnings, gif by me (credit if use please)
☾ - sleep headcanon
With his tough life Ezra doesn’t often have a luxury to sleep in a comfortable bed, but he’s got this superpower to sleep anywhere, anytime, in any position. He doesn’t have problems with getting up early, but he’s still usually a bit grumpy in the mornings.
★ - sad headcanon
Ezra does not often allow sad and depressive thoughts to consume him. In fact, his incredible optimism and confidence that it’ll work out somehow and everything will be okay in the end, even if you have to go through a lot of crap before it happens, always helped him to survive even the most dangerous situations. But of course he’s only human, and he can be gloomy too. He has regrets as well, but he refuses to focus on sad stuff, because he knows very well - in the world he lives, there’s no time for whining. Once you give up - you’re dead.
☆ - happy headcanon
When Ezra is happy, he smiles a lot. Yes, he is mostly talkative, but sometimes he’s just quiet and has this soft and content smile on his face with a lot of warmth behind it. These are rare occasions, that’s why they’re always so precious.
☠ - angry/violent headcanon
He’s not naturally violent. If there’s a possibility to settle the matter peacefully, he’d rather try it. But if someone threatens him or his loved ones - he will fight back without hesitation.
Ezra is never violent just for the sake of violence, he doesn’t find joy in it. Unfortunately sometimes he has no choice.
Ezra is capable for murder. He happened to kill, but he’s not proud of that. It’s more like a burden he has to live with, but he accepted it, because… That’s just life. Basically his life motto is what’s done is done, so what’s the point in torturing yourself about something that cannot be changed.
Generally Ezra is very reasonable, but when he’s angry he may become poisonous and say things that can hurt, or be brutally honest and tell someone the truth they don’t really want to hear.
✿ - Sex headcanon
I mean… this guy is full of big dick energy, so yeah… Sex with him is mostly rough and passionate. Sloppy kisses, kneading and biting, sex against the wall - all this is about him. On the other hand, he can be gentle too. You’d be surprised how tender he actually can be in contrast with his tough guy appearance and demeanor. He’s not selfish in bed, and if he’s got real feelings for someone, he becomes pretty soft and caring, making sure you’re comfortable and feel good. He doesn’t often have much time to enjoy the intimacy without hurry, but when he does, he uses this time to the fullest.
Ezra is quite experienced - he’s an attractive man and has a charm, so it’s not that hard for him to get a girl into bed. For sure he had just casual sex not once and not even twice… Mostly when he was a bit younger though. But when it comes to love and affection - it’s way more complicated. That’s why he really appreciates it. So even if your encounter was rough, you can always count on a soft kiss or cuddle afterwards. There are times when all he wants is just to hold you and feel your warmth.
■ - Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon
He’s mostly on the road and seldom has an opportunity to settle for a while. Once he does, his living quarters are quite messy. He usually doesn’t bother himself with folding his clothes or making the bed. Thankfully he doesn’t have many belongings, they all fit into his backpack so he has no problems finding what he needs.
♡ - romantic headcanon
In the world where Ezra lives, not many people have the luxury of being romantic. Even a simple trust is a gift which is not that easy to gain. Ezra appreciates this gift though, he’s been lonely for quite a while, even without completely realizing it, even among people. So, even more than being with his love interest physically, he cherishes emotional closeness.
Yes, there’s no time and place for romance in this world, but Ezra always finds ways to show his affection, either it’s holding hands, soft looks and touches during the rare moments of intimacy, or being protective of his loved one.
♥ - family headcanon
Ezra’s life is a constant fight and one adventure after another. Deep inside this tough guy really needs to care for someone, but he never seriously thought about settling down and starting a family of his own.
☮ - friendship headcanon
To be honest, real friendship is not a very common thing in Ezra’s surroundings. It’s not always safe to trust people here. There are some people Ezra can work/deal with, but as for the REAL friends - he doesn’t have many. And maybe that’s why he cherishes them. As well as with his love interest, with his friends Ezra is loyal and protective.
♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon
Secretly, Ezra really likes to read. He’d certainly do that more often if he had time.
Sometimes when he teams up with a few people for work, he doesn’t mind playing cards with them. He’s really good at bluffing.
☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon
Ezra likes smart people. Physical beauty is attractive for sure, but this kind of attraction doesn’t last that long. Yep, brains and wit are really important for this man. If you’re arguing with him, he may look not very pleased, but secretly he loves that too. If the partner agrees with his every word it, he can get bored pretty soon.
Ezra likes to talk, especially after he’s been alone for quite a while. It can even be a bit annoying at times.
Ezra likes it when you run your fingers through his hair. This soft intimate gesture makes him melt.
Ezra is mostly a man of his word, so he dislikes it when people fail to keep their promises.
▼ - childhood headcanon
For some reason Ezra doesn’t remember his childhood very well. His parents were far from being wealthy, and they were mostly occupied with how to earn money to pay the debts rather than paying attention to him. He lost them in his teens when they went for another risky job. He used to hang out with some shady guys and even was involved into some stuff. He learnt lots of survival lessons at quite a young age, but he doesn’t complain. In the end it only made him stronger.
∇ - old age/aging headcanon
Oh that’s funny. For some reason I seldom think about my favorite characters getting old. But I think Ezra could be a really funny grandpa. I think he’s got these protective instincts that would make him a good dad, so I think it’s possible for him to have children in the future, and then grandchildren. And I’m pretty sure they would adore listening to the stories about the adventures of his past :)
♒ - cooking/food headcanon
Ezra is absolutely not picky about what he eats. Food is just fuel for him. So, snacks, protein/chocolate bars and so on. If he lived in our realities, he’d be a fast food kind of person for sure. I’m also not sure if there’s coffee in Ezra’s world, but if there was - he’d totally drink a lot of it.
☼ - appearance headcanon
He doesn’t care much about appearance, mostly because he just has no time for it. But if he fell for you and wants to make good impression, he could trim his beard or even shave though :)
Ezra is not sure where he got this blond streak of his hair; he thinks it’s either some kind of a natural mutation, or something happened to him when he was a kid. Anyway, he has it from quite an early age.
ൠ - random headcanon
When he was young, about 18 years old, Ezra got into jail for some… Not very legal business he was doing with a bunch of “friends”. He was the youngest and the less experienced among them, so they managed to get away with it, and he didn’t. In jail, there was one older man, and Ezra really admired his way of speaking. When some bold dudes tried to bully him, he could say something so fancy in reply sometimes that they just stared at him in confusion, trying to figure out if he offended them or not. Ezra found it hilarious. From this man he learnt that words can also be a weapon or just a really helpful tool to achieve what you want.
This was my headcanon about where Ezra got his unusual manner of speech :)
◉ - Any other question of your choosing
Ezra has a habit to give nickmames to people he hangs out with. He can often call you “sweetheart”, “little bird”, “darlin’” or something like that. He does this somehow so naturally that even if you’re not a fan of pet names it sounds cute.
***
Thanks for reading!
I might write one more fic about this character but only after I’m done with 2 Rockwell characters fics I’m currently working on :’)

I Am No Jedi
With season two of Mando over and the entire series in the can, for now, i was still on a pretty high Star Wars kick. Since i have Disney+, and time before WandaVision starts, i figure I'd ride this wave right into another Star Wars show i didn’t have the opportunity to actually get into deep; Star Wars: Rebels. Now, i have REALLY mixed feeling about this show. It’s an odd watch for me because of the conflict between the parts that are clone wars-y and the original content being presented. I kind of hate it when Ahsoka, Vader, Maul, or Thrawn aren’t onscreen but, at the same time, there are some really standout episodes. The Honorable Ones and The Forgotten Droid immediately come to mind. Unlike Clone Wars, however, which is a whole ass masterpiece of storytelling and character development, Rebels feels incredibly flaccid, overall. Still, i did like some things therein. Others, not so much...
The Things I liked
This show is gorgeous, man. The character models are lovely, this soundtrack is one of the best in the entire franchise, and the animation is head-and-shoulders above the first last season of Clone Wars. By that i mean season six. This thing ain’t got sh*t on season seven. Not even a little bit. Even so, this how is f*cking stunning to see. Everything about this aesthetic is just chef kiss levels of kino, as the kids would say.
All things Ahsoka. Look, its no secret i adore Ms. Tano but she really comes into her own with Rebels. You get to see that wisdom she gleaned during the Clone Wars on full display, even if she isn’t a proper Jedi anymore. Watching her reunite with Rex was wonderful but watching her fight Vader? That was hard. That was really hard. That episode, Twilight of the Apprentice, is easily some of the finest Disney Star Wars produced to date. It’s up there with Mando and the seventh season of the Clone Wars, for sure, and is the best episode of Rebels, itself, hands down.
Vader.
Maul in Rebels was exceptional. I enjoyed his turn in Clone Wars, of course, but his relationship with Ezra and his growth over the course of this series was exquisite. I was stunned by how much i liked Maul because, admittedly, i didn’t see the allure. I came to Clone Wars late so watching Maul blossom was a surprise. Seeing that continued evolution through Rebels was a real treat. That last duel with Obi-Wan? F*cking tragic. Beautifully tragic.
The Inquisitors. I like the whole concept of the Inquisitors but, specifically, The Grand Inquisitor and the Seventh Sister are decidedly the superior of the lot. I really enjoyed Grand and felt like his character was a little short-changed but Seventh Sister came along and picked up that slack only a few episodes later. Thanks to Rebels, i got other amazing characters like Second Sister in Jedi Fallen Order, The High Inquisitors in
F*cking Thrawn, man. I knew this dude was the dude from the Thrawn trilogy sequel books and never expected him to actually be canonized. Seeing my favorite blue sociopath show up in season four was a real gas, giving him proper credence as a threat going forward in the canon Disney mythos. The revelation that Ahsoka’s whole mission in her Mando appearance, was just to find a lead on this dude, was one of the biggest geek-outs i ever had for Disney Star Wars and it was Rebels that set all of it up.
Speaking of canonization, Rebels mad Darth Bane a thing and i will forever be grateful of that fact. Darth Bane is a huge deal in the canon and Filoni sneaking his legitimacy into the new lore, right under Kathleen Kennedy’s hating ass sabotage, was genius. I heard that he wanted to do the same for Darth Nihilus, Darth Traya, and Darth Scion, but that script was rejected. I imagine Darth Kennedy didn’t care for the Bane slip and put the kibosh on all other lore.
I actually like a lot of the additional lore. The Bendu, those temples, the mega-weapon on Malachor, The Veil; All of it enriches and expands upon the new canon. It gives it more life, more potential. and i love potential in storytelling. Makes for a ton of different, wonderful, possibilities.
Look, i just really like the Bendu. That motherf*cker is hilarious.
I really did enjoy Hera and Sabine. Those two ladies were a delight. I’ glad they were added t the lore because, particularly Sabine, there is a wealth of potential for them going forward. Hell, we’ve already seen the return of Hera in Star Wars: Squadrons and, with Mando going full anthology, i would be hard pressed not to think that Sabine will have her turn as the titular Mandalorian in a few seasons.
Not going to lie, seeing Zeb in this show was pretty dope. As a Star Wars geek, i knew that the Lasat were basically prototype Wookies that were cast aside. It’s dope seeing that design getting a second wind onscreen and a prominent role in the main cast. Plus, i mean, Zeb is actually a pretty chill character, himself.
The Things I didn’t
What the f*ck are these lightsabers, man? They're supposed to reflect the original concept of the weapons from one of the first Star Wars draft scripts, which is cool in a geek sense, but corny as sh*t in practice. These things look anemic, as f*ck, man.
It’s ridiculous to me that the crew of the Ghost are so goddamn pivotal to the fledgling Rebellion. These assholes cannot be this important, even with all of the plot armor. Like, seriously, I'm supposed to believe that they were the ones who retrieved the B-Wing, founded the first Rebel base, and stole Phoenix Nest from the Empire? Word?
There no stakes to this show. Like, i get that our principals had a lot of plot armor in Clone Wars, i never once felt like Ahsoka, Kenobi, or Anakin were ever in real danger, but there were certain episodes where i thought, for sure, their characters would be totally crippled somehow. Not with Rebels. I don’t expect any of these motherf*ckers to have even a semblance of lasting bruises. Kanan literally dies and nothing of importance was lost. Like, i know this is Ezra’s show but goddamn.
Speaking of Ezra, i hate this kid. I don’t know if that’s by design, like Filoni did with Ahsoka in the first few seasons of Clone Wars, but i grew to love her. She’s literally my second favorite character in the entire mythos, after Vader. Ezra did not grow on me. At all. I hate that so many lore altering events surrounded this dipsh*t. Kid ain’t even all that powerful in the force. I’m pretty certain that Ahsoka is stronger than Ezra is but he gets to be the one to “discover” the Veil of the Force. Like, bro, for real? You telling me Anakin, Yoda, or even f*cking Luke missed out on this sh*t? Word?
This show feels a lot like Avatar The Last Air Bender but worse. I had a whole ass emotional connection to the characters in that show. It broke my heart to see Azula having that meltdown. I did feel that same agony in Rebels, but it was for Ahsoka. When Vader looked up and you heard Anakin’s voice through the filter? “Ahsoka.” F*ck, that broke me. It was like watching Spider-Man getting dusted in Infinity War. I never felt that way about any of the ghost crew. Never. Not when Kanan died. Not when Ezra disappeared. Never.
The best parts of this show, of the actual, Rebels, canon, is either leftovers from Clone Wars or Legends content. Bane, Thrawn, Ahsoka, Rex, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Vader, the Emperor, even f*cking Hondo; All characters that existed before Rebels. Outside of the Inquisitors, Rebels added nothing of worth to the canon. It’s effectively a non-show. I mean, The Veil might be a thing eventually. We’ll see. That motherf*cker is a whole ass retconning mcguffin if I've ever seen one.
It’s weird to say, but nothing about this show feels of consequence. I know, for a fact, there are certain aspects Rebels added to the lore that will be vital to the overall canon but it doesn’t feel like that, you know? It feels like this was a detour, a frolic of, like, three or four episodes but holds no bearing to the grander scheme playing out. Sh*t’s ridiculous because Clone Wars felt like a whole ass problem, Rogue One gave us a legit catharsis, and Mando outdid everything Disney ever made while setting up an entire new age. F*ck, man, even the sequel trilogy gave us Kylo Ren. Rebels feels like Star Wars: The Filler Show and i kind of hate it.

Boys Unlike Boys
Today I’m going to talk about boys. Sort of.
Why? Because when you’re trying to figure out what kind of person you are, you tend to get lost in admiration for the kind of expression you wish you had.
Admittedly, I’m not a celebrity watcher. I don’t wade through countless stories and articles about who did what and what they wore. No, I can barely remember the name of an actor or actress that played a role in a movie I loved, but if I saw their face, I would recognize them. However, there are a select few I do keep an eye on out of a weird connection to my gender issues. These are some of my thoughts, however unfiltered they are.
Ezra Miller infuriates me. I mean this with love. There’s a special kind of affinity I have with Ezra Miller that bugs me. No, I don’t mean because it’s Ezra Miller or that anything he does is unsettling, but because it looks so damn easy. Ezra Miller was probably one of the last straws for me before I started really questioning myself. A lot of people tend to get hyper-focused on certain celebrities and their identities, but I don’t really do this. So writing about specific people is a little new for me. I guess that’s part of the process.
When I wade through the internet’s garbage I discover a lot of banter about what kind of sexuality and gender identity Ezra (and pretty much fucking everyone else) claims to have. The answers aren’t clear still, and I’m okay with that. But there’s this little voice inside of me that constantly judges people like Ezra for not making things clear. As if I’m supposed to figure out what I’m going to do by learning from people who don’t give a damn. Which is in itself a whole fucking laugh because i am one of those people that doesn’t give much fucks about these sort of things. Then there’s the point of why exactly I, or anyone else, would presume that a famous face should be the authority of our own identities.
Okay, with that clusterfuck of a thought out of the way, I’m going to get honest with myself. I had been reading a bit about the vague way Ezra treats gender and relationships and I immediately put myself in a place of how i am one hell of an enigma myself. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that all the gender pronouns and identity assertions don’t annoy the living hell out of me. But I’ve begun to try and accept it as a part of my own identity issues. That is, if I can’t exist in any and I still want to exist in them all, then maybe I’m more of an Ezra than I thought I was in the first place.
When asked about my pronouns, I always shrug it off as “whatever.” Seriously, I do not care what you call me. But my problem isn’t with you, it’s with me. So how does this work? I’m constantly fighting with myself about it and considering different avenues that would make me more comfortable, but then when the world demands me to make a choice, I tell them “I seriously don’t give a fuck.”
Maybe I’m moving into some kind of existential crisis with my gender identity, I don’t know. Anyways, this is what I’ve been thinking lately. Thanks Ezra!
Now Erin Mommsen. Let me tell you, I have such a huge affinity with this beauty. Much relented as an “up and coming” figure of the modelling community, Erin Mommsen is one of those casual cool types that doesn’t make noise about their gender. At least, not that I could tell via the public eye. I envy Erin so much because I want to be at ease with myself, but I’m constantly running scenarios in my head of what goes on outside of the public view.
But this isn’t the only reason I brought up Erin Mommsen. As much as I’ve been fighting with myself on my gender identity crisis, I have also been having a bit of a sexuality crisis. Fuck if I’m honest, I haven’t had sex in months. There was a time when I acted out and was pretty much in everyone’s sexual business, but now I’m so far removed from it that I’ve begun to question what’s wrong with me. I’ve slept with women, men, and a few in between. Of course, most people would say that this makes me pansexual, but I have problems with this term being part of my identity and I’m not sure why. Sometimes I think about the fact I’m now well over twenty five and been around the block a few times, I should have all this stuff figured out. I’m well past puberty too, so why is this all coming up now?
Anyways, Erin Mommsen was one of those in betweens that got me shook. Enough about that.
So here we go. Troye Sivan. This is a recent discovery for me in life. You know, that he exists and has existed for however many years now. I got carried away once watching various youtubes and reading articles that centred around his own self discovery with sexuality and gender expression. Something about the progress of these topics just got me overthinking myself and I think that part of where I am today is through the overarching narrative surrounding this boy’s gender expression. It’s hard for me to put into words right now, but I think it deserves a shout out.
Finally, Olly Alexander. There is a totally different reason that I include Olly in this post. When I was younger, in my early twenties, I partied hard. A lot of people have told me that I certainly lived my best life. I wear my stories, no matter how gritty or wild, proudly. I’m also one of those kind of people that can reflect on something I’ve done and laugh about it ten years later. In fact, anyone who actually knows me would probably say I’m a fucking clown, and not in the annoying sort of way. The combination of not giving a fuck and finding life pretty hilarious is a strangely authentic experience I think that I truly do enjoy, no matter how much of it I use to avoid my issues.
At any rate, Olly brings me back to those more wilder years of mine. I used to be a very loud, active participant in the LGBTQ community here where I live and I hung out with a lot of boys like Olly. So whenever I run into a photo, story, or video of Olly, I’m immediately brought back to that time. I was far more confused about other things back then, but I loved my boys. There were a few girls I hung around with. Of course my ex-girlfriend at the time was one of them and I rapidly fell out of the crowd as just another... I don’t know, I almost want to say “normie,” but I don’t think that nearly suits what happened
After we broke up, I fell in love with a neighbourhood QUEEN. Yes, we had our fun, but nothing ever really came from it, but it was definitely a new point in my life. So when I look back at this time, I can remember the things we did and said and how strangely nonchalant it makes me now. I never really had a problem with my sexual identity. I still, to a degree, don’t - except for the fact I’m not trying to figure out where I stand on it again.
I also did a lot of drugs at the time, so there was that. Years later, a lot of people want to say that the drugs obviously clouded me and my decisions, but I was a very smart cookie. I reflect on those times much more differently than most would think for someone who now has a career in research and academia. I embrace those times as a part of me and that I wouldn’t be the same without them.
Looking further back, I remember a time when things were far more “normal.” I had a stable relationship, job, school, life. And then one day I cracked. I left it all because I didn’t feel right. It should have been my first clue that something was going on, but I avoided it ever since. Right up until now.
So yes, people beyond our social periphery are important. They remind us of past times, of feelings, affinities, and they confuse the hell out of us. At least they do. So for as much as I say I don’t get wrapped up in celebrity lives, I sometimes really do. This is because I am trying to figure out whether there is something right in what they’re doing that is a part of me. I know I’m still at the early stages of all of this, so everything seems chaotic and unrefined, but it’s all part of the damn process. I hate it, I do, but it’s just something that has to come to pass if I’m ever going to be whole again.

Going Home // Val & Ez
Valeria was so sick of being in the hospital, and she wanted to go home three days ago. But today was finally the day she was getting released. She was able to sit up on her own, and she felt a lot better. She slipped her shoes on, and looked over at Ezra, who hadn't left her side the entire time, "Babe, can you hand me my jacket, so I can get out of here." She smiled, and ran her fingers through her hair.
After what felt like an eternity, Ezra couldn’t be more relieved that Val was being released. It had been hell to say the least. Shuffling from her room and then Em’s, and on top of that, he still had to check up on what was going on at the office. He needed a break, and with Val going home, he felt like a little bit of that weight was lifted off his shoulders. “You’re a little eager to leave. What? You don’t like the delicious hospital food?” He teased as he reached for her jacket. “Turn around, I’ll help you with it.”
Val rolled her eyes hearing Ezra talking about the hospital food, "You mean the food that you refused to eat? No I will not miss that. I want to sleep in my own bed, and be in my own house." She turned around, so Ezra could help her in her jacket. "And I know you want to get out of here too, this bed is not comfortable for the both of us, and I know you want to be in our bed as well." She missed being alone with Ezra, and not have anyone interrupting them.
"Why would I eat the food when they made it especially for you?" Ezra returned with a grin. "You definitely will get all of that…" He told her as he helped her into the jacket. Once done, he gave her a peck on the lips and stood back to get a better look at her. "I know it was uncomfortable, but at least you got feel me up…" He wiggled his brows. "Now, let's get going. Your chariot awaits, my lady." For this occasion, he'd hired a temporary driver so that he could sit in the back with Val.
"They offered ti bring it to you, but you sir refused. So I know you want to get out of here as soon as possible." She laughed, and felt relived when he said she was going to get that, "I can't wait..." She happily accepted his kiss and smiled, "I surely was trying to feel you up, but I will be able to do it more at home." She smirked and licked her lips. The nurse walked in with the wheelchair, "Yay, time to go!" She got in the chair, and they headed out to the car, "You got us a car?" She was impressed.
"I didn't need to eat their food. I could eat outside food. It's much yummier." He retorted with a laugh, his head shaking at her next words. "You would think that for someone who just got out of a coma, you would try to take it easy, but noooo… You're still the same you. Not that I'm complaining." He laughed and watched as the nurse pushed a wheelchair into the room. He took over and smiled at her question. "Of course. You don't actually expect me to drive, do you?"
Valeria rolled her eyes, at Ezra teasing her about the food, "Whatever..." She knew she should take it easy, but she felt fine, and she had the man she loved right next to her, so why not try to feel him up. "I don't know how to take it easy baby, and I blame you for being so damn hot, that all I can think about is jumping you." She smirked, and kissed his cheek. "Now, let's just get out of here." She didn't even complain with being put in a wheelchair, she was just ready to go, so she hopped in and enjoyed the ride. "Honestly, I thought you would, but I am happy to ride in your arms all the way home."
“Like I said, I’m not complaining, but I really do want you to take it easy.” Ezra was still afraid about Val’s health, which was why he didn’t mind waiting. Besides, it wasn’t like he only needed her for sex, he loved her. When they got to the car, he couldn’t be happier to see Val smiling. “Well, since that’s what you want, I’ll make sure it becomes a reality.” He helped her into the car and went to sit next to her, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. “Is there anything you’d like to eat? We could stop by somewhere before heading home…” He wanted to make sure that she was comfortable and was sure that she would be sick of eating hospital food by now.
Valeria smiled, she liked seeing how concerned Ezra was about her, "I will take it easy, I promise." She knew it would be a minute before she was back at 100% but she didn't want to not have fun with Ezra in the process. She got in the car and instantly melted into Ezra's arms, and she felt very much at home there. She nodded when he asked if she wanted something to eat, "Yup, McDonalds." She smiled and put her head in his chest,
“Good.” Ezra kissed her on the forehead and smiled. Of course he still wanted to have sex, he wasn’t dead… But for now, he wanted to take things easy. When she suggested going to Mcdonald’s he laughed. “Really? Out of the places, you choose Mcdonalds.” Although he found it hilarious, he couldn’t bring himself to deny her either, so he asked the driver to take a detour to the fast food joint. “I’m actually craving for a chocolate milkshake, so I’ll order one to go as well. --How’s your head? Not still bothering you, is it?”
Valeria giggled and looked up at Ezra as he made fun of her choice for food, "I happen to really like McDonald's and I like that we can get it quick and get home, I really want to see if there was any damage to the house. I really hope not." She felt a knot in her stomach just at the thought of something happening to her home. She shook it off, and nodded happily, "Ooh, I want one too, that sounds yummy." She shook her head at his question, "Head is good, I feel a dull pain, but nothing too bad."
“Hey, not judging here, I’m just surprised you wanted Mcdonald’s of all places.” Ezra said, laughing. “I ran by the house earlier and everything looks good. Charlie’s been cleaning apparently.” He could see that she was starting to get a little worried, so he quickly explained the situation and pressed a kiss on her forehead. “We’ll get you one too then.” He promised her, happy to hear that her head wasn’t hurting too badly either. “I never asked, but what happened? Did someone hit your head during the riots?” Just the thought alone had his blood boiling.
Valeria shrugged her shoulders, "I like what I like, and right now, I just want McDonald's." She was so relieved to hear that the house was okay, "Oh thank goodness, I am glad that she and Deviano are okay, and I can't wait to see them." She smiled and leaned against his chest, "Good, I'm excited to have that." She looked up at him when she asked about what happened, "Honestly I don't know...I was leaving the courthouse, and I couldn't tell who was around, but I just felt something hard hitting my head."
“Fine… Fine… You like Mcdonald’s end of story.” Ezra said, shaking his head. “Yeah, she’s okay. She’s been fussing about you coming home, like she didn’t come to see you everyday.” He laughed, thinking about Charlie. “They should be home to greet you unless they’re getting busy or something.” He was curious to hear what happened to Val, but she clearly couldn’t remember. “--Well, I’m just glad that you’re okay. I hope the pain goes away soon too. I hate seeing you in pain.” He sighed. They pulled up at McDonald’s and got their orders before they were on their way back to the house.
Valeria giggled, but was really glad that she was heading home. She really missed Charlie, and although she came to see her in the hospital, she missed just hanging out with her around the house, and being silly together. "I can't wait to see her, you never know how attached you are to someone, until they are not with you." She laughed at Ezra, "You know what, I wouldn't be mad if they were getting busy when I got there, I am a advocate for my friends getting their freak on." She laughed, but then as she tried to remember what happened to her, it just made her head hurt more. "I'm sorry I can't tell you more." Once they got their food from McDonald's, they headed back to the house, and she smiled once they were in the driveway, "Home sweet home." She sighed, and looked at Ezra, "Lets go inside."
"I bet you do. The house feels different without you in it. I can't wait to have you home again." Ezra said, holding Val close and kissing her forehead. He breathed her in just because he could and he loved feeling surrounded by her love. This was what he'd been missing while she was in a coma and he couldn't be happier to see her almost back to herself again. "Oh, trust me, I've heard them several times when I came home to change. Something's different about them. Charlie used to be a lot more subtle, but now, it's like she doesn't even care. One time I caught them making out in the kitchen. They would have done a lot more than that if I hadn't caught them. Friends my ass…" He shook his head and chuckled. "Shush… Don't even worry about it. I'm just glad you're okay now." He kissed her sweetly on the lips now to help soothe her. Once they arrived back home, he smiled at her reaction. "Wait, you can't leave just yet. Let me help you." He got out ahead of her and without thinking, he lifted her out of the car. "Get our meal, baby girl." He urged her and when she did, he carried her towards the front door
"Aww baby, you act like you miss me." She giggled, "But I missed being in our bed, and laying in your arms, I sleep better that way." She smiled, loving when he would kiss her. It was everything to her, and she was starting to feel like herself again. She laughed when Ezra was telling her about how free Charlie and Deviano were being in the house, "Maybe this riot made them see just how much they care about each other, and they are going to stop with that friend business." She was happy for her friend, and wanted them to be free to love up on each other. She was thankful that Ezra didn't want her continue thinking about what happened to her, because she just couldn't do it right then. She kissed him back and smiled, "Thank you baby." She was about to get out of the car, but was confused when he stopped her, "Why not?" She huffed when he picked her up out of the car, "Ezra, put me down! I can walk you know." She grabbed their food like he told her, but she was still protesting him carrying her in the house.
Ezra was happy to be home and true to his words, he wasn't going to allow Val to do much while in his care. She was still not fully healed, so despite her protests, he decided not to pay heed to her and simply picked her up. "You're going to spill all my milkshake if you don't hold still." He told her as he carried her into the house. His eyes rolled when he heard the unmistakable sounds of Charlie and Deviano having sex. "It's been like this the whole damn week. You'd think they'd be more quiet… This house is huge, I shouldn't have to hear them." He commented as he walked towards Val's room. Once inside, he closed the door and sat her down on the bed. Kicking off his shoes, he sat down next to her and smiled. "McDonald's time… Hand me my milkshake."
Valeria sighed, it was obvious that Ezra was not going to allow her to walk, and she wasn't sure if he was going to let her do anything now that she was home. She stopped wiggling, so he wouldn't drop her, or she wouldn't drop their food. She giggled hearing the moans that filled the house, "Wow...they really enjoyed having the house to themselves huh? I'm not mad at it. You go girl!" She yelled out, and then turned back to Ezra, "You know what they say if you can't beat em'..." She giggled, and kissed his cheek. And kicked her shoes off as he put her on the bed, "Here you go baby."
Ezra couldn't help but laugh at Val's reaction to their friends having sex. She wasn't even angry. In fact, she was cheering them on. It simply filled his heart with joy to see her back to her old antics, it meant that things were slowly going back to normal. "You're going to make this house extra noisy if you encourage her behavior. I don't want to hear her moaning. Harder, daddy… Like that…" He mocked, with a laugh. "Join em?" He smirked. "We can after we eat." He wiggled his brows and took the bag of food from her.
Valeria laughed, "I'm going to add to the noise baby, and let them hear just how loud you make me." She was so ready to be with Ezra again in a intimate way, he was her love, and she missed being with him that way. She laughed so hard at him mocking Charlie, "You are so wrong baby, but if you want, I'll be much louder, letting them hear just how good you make me feel when you are inside me." She licked her lips, and popped a fry in her mouth.
"Ooh… Are we going to compete with them? Now, you're talking." Although Ezra knew that he would have to take it easy on Val, he was looking forward to being intimate with her again. He loved her, and after everything that's happened, no one could blame him for wanting some sexual release. "Is that not how she sounds like, though?" He laughed. "Although, it is kinda hot when a girl calls a guy daddy…" He said with a shrug before digging into his Big Mac. "I know how loud you are. Sometimes when you're really into it, my ears would ring." He teased and took another bite.
Valeria nodded, "We can definitely compete with them, and we will totally win." She wanted Ezra so bad, her body was yearning for him, and after telling him that she loved him, she wanted to show him. She laughed and started to shake off her jacket, "That is what she sounds like." She raised a brow, "Oh you like that?" She moved in closer to him, "Do you want me to call you Daddy?" She slid her hand on his cock, and squeezed it through his pants. "But do you like it when I'm loud?"
“Of course we would. You’re louder than Charlie.” Ezra stated with a laugh. He knew how loud he could make Val get, so there really was no competition. Besides, his woman liked talking dirty and who was he to stop her? He was happily consuming his meal when he felt her shifting closer to him. Not that he minded of course, what she did next had him moaning. “Fuck… You shouldn’t do that to me while I’m eating, baby girl. But yes, I would love it if you would call me daddy. Only if you want to. Loud is good, just try not to scream into my ears and break my eardrums.” He rambled, but what the hell was he supposed to do when she was stroking his cock?
"I can't help but be loud with you, you make me feel so damn good." She was so horny for Ezra, all she could think about was riding his cock, and cumming all over it. She smirked as she heard his comment, "I'm not even sorry daddy, you make me want you." She smirked and licked her lips, as she continued stroking his cock. She giggled and shook her head, "I can't make that promise daddy, but I'll try."
Fuck… That was all his mind kept repeating because honestly, what else could he say. He hadn’t had sex in close to two weeks and he needed Val more than he needed to breathe at this very moment. “Fuck… The way you call me daddy is turning me on so fucking much.” He told her and because he was greedy, he reached for her, forcing her to straddle his lap and claimed her lips in a heated kiss. During this time, he began to strip off her clothes, reaching for the hem of her shirt and pulling it up and over before throwing it to the wayside. He then flipped her gently, allowing her to lay on the bed. His lips went back to hers momentarily before he began his journey down her body, where he then took off her pants and underwear. Once she was completely naked, he rest at the juncture of her thighs. “I’ve fucking missed this…” He muttered before he lowered his head and swiped his tongue over her core, latching on to the sensitive nub of her clit without much warning. His fingers joined in the fun, thrusting in and out of her pussy at a rapid pace.
This was all Valeria wanted from the time she started feeling better in the hospital. She missed the intimate moments with Ezra, and hearing Charlie and Deviano only made her want him even more. She smiled at his reaction to her calling him daddy, "Oh you like that huh....daddy?" She happily got on his lap, and lifted her arms so it would be easier for him to take off her shirt, "Oh daddy, I missed this so much." She was grinding against his crotch, until he flipped her over, and started kissing her again. She moaned and arched her back, as he kissed down her chest, and she moaned louder as she felt his tongue on her pussy, "Daddy...fuck!"
Ezra felt greedy then. It felt like it had been an eternity since he last had this with Val and he wanted her with the ferocity that scared even him. That coupled with her moans and how she called him daddy had him eating her out like he was starving. His fingers flew into her core, tongue still flicking along her clit at a rapid pace. He wanted her to cum, needed to taste her sweetness in his tongue. When he knew that she wasn’t going to last for much longer, he raised his head and urged her to let go. “Cum for me, baby girl. I want to taste all of your juices…”
Valeria was in heaven, feeling Ezra giving her the pleasure she wanted and needed. She loved him so much, and for him to finally touch her like this, felt like they were securing their love for one another. She knew she wouldn't be able to hold off for too much longer, with the way he was eating her pussy, "Fuck daddy...I'm so close." He didn't waste time with making her hold it, he gave her permission to cum, and she did just that. "EZRA! DADDY!" She screamed out as she came so hard.
Ezra didn't let up his movements, his fingers continued to thrust in and out, while his tongue flicked at her clit. The signs of Val's impending climax were mounting. Soon, he was rewarded for his hard work and she was screaming his name so loudly, he swore the whole room shook. Taking his time, he lapped up all of her sweetness, groaning at the taste of her. Once he was satisfied, he moved up her body, and smiled upon seeing her satisfied face. "You look so beautiful like this, Val. I love you so much." He said before claiming her lips.
Valeria came so hard, as if she was holding it back for a long time. The fact they they confessed their love to one another in the hospital was nice, but they were not able to do anything while they were there. After she came, she was spent, "Thank you daddy, I love you too. And you made me look like this, so you made me sexy." She kissed him back deeply.
The hunger that Ezra felt for Val couldn’t be quelled. He never knew that loving someone could be this fulfilling. Sex had always been good in the past, but there was always something missing. “Fuck… If you keep calling me daddy, I won’t let you out of the bed for days.” He groaned before their lips met again. He knew he had to take it easy, so he pulled away and said, “Daddy wants you to ride him, baby girl. Hop on.” He rested his back on the headboard and patted his lap. “Come here, beautiful.”
Valeria giggled hearing what Ezra said, "You promise....daddy." She was ready to stay in bed with Ezra for a few days, they had time to make up for. She pouted when he pulled back, but then smiled when he said that he wanted her to ride him, "I can do that daddy." She moved onto his lap, and slid down on his cock. She moaned at the feeling of him being inside him, "Oh yes daddy, you fill me up so good." She got adjusted on him before bouncing on his cock.
“You should know by now that I never back out of a promise.” Ezra winked and smiled wickedly at Val. “Now, come here…” He was all smiles as he watched her crawl towards him, his eyes taking in her beautiful curves. When she hopped on and slid down his dick, his eyes rolled back and he let out a hiss of pleasure at feeling her without any barriers. This was his first time doing this with anyone, and he had to say that he really liked the feeling. “Ride me, baby girl… Show daddy what you’re made of.” He urged, gripping her hips and helping her to bounce.
"That I know daddy, I was counting on that." She hadn't been with anyone without a condom since Emmet, and she almost forgotten just how good it felt, but she loved how it felt. She had every intention on showing him just what she had, but she was still a little weak, so she rested her hands on his chest and started to bounce as fast as she possibly could on his cock. "So good baby."
Ezra knew he couldn’t be too rough with Val, not when she was still recovering from her injuries, so having her ride him was a no brainer. She felt perfect and as usual, just hearing her moans turned him on. “You look so beautiful, baby girl. Ride this dick and cum for me.” He groaned, his hands gripping her hips a little harder and when he found himself unable to tamp down his urges, spanked one of her globes.
It didn't take long for Valeria to get to her end. She knew with how long she wanted to be with Ezra again, that he could take her to her end soon. She needed to cum, her head was starting to hurt a little, but she wasn't going to stop until they both were satisfied. She bit her bottom lip, "Daddy....I'm going to cum." She threw her head back, and after a few more bounces, she screamed out his name, and came so hard, "EZRA!!" Her body was shaking so hard, but she wouldn't stop moving until he came as well.
Ezra wanted to give Val as much pleasure as he possibly could and seeing how turned on she was, made him work a little harder at giving it to her. He continued to spank her, shifting his hips up every time she would slam down on him. Soon, she was screaming out his name as her pussy clenched around his dick. Needing more, he flipped her onto her back, careful not to jar her too much. Then, it was his turn to fuck her. He thrust into her mercilessly. “Fuck… So good, baby girl. I’ve missed this so much.”
Valeria was spent from coming again, and she was at Ezra's will. She squealed when he flipped her over, and screamed out as he slammed inside her, "Fuck daddy! I needed this so bad." As much as her head was starting to hurt, she felt so good, and wanted to have Ezra be just as satisfied. "Let go daddy, I love you, and I need to feel you cum inside me." Her body was on fire, and it screamed out for him.
Ezra couldn’t think about anything else but this moment with Val. He was swept in a sea of lust and despite knowing that he should slow down, he couldn’t bring himself to do so. “Fuck… I needed this too. I’ve missed all of you, baby girl.” He wasn’t even sure what he was talking about at this point and felt his orgasm creeping in. When he heard Val’s next request, he placed his thumb over her clit and began rubbing circles on it. “Cum for me, baby girl and I’ll cum with you.” He urged, needing to know that he’d satisfy her before he could find his own release.
Valeria didn't know if she had anything left inside her, but when it came to Ezra, she seemed to always have more for him. She closed her eyes, and screamed out as she came yet again. "Daddy!" She couldn't say anything else, just came all over his cock. He knew how to bring out the best in her, and she was completely satisfied and spent. Her entire body went numb, and all she could do was lay there, in pure bliss.
Once Ezra felt Val letting go, he did the same, throwing his head back and cumming hard inside her pussy. “Fuck! Val!” He groaned as everything seemed to explode around him. Feeling weak afterwards, he collapsed next to her and pulled her into his arms. “Wow, that was incredible.” He mumbled, giving her forehead a kiss. “I hope that wasn’t too bad for you. How’s your head? Is it hurting?” He didn’t like thinking about her hurting, but the possibility of that happening was high at this juncture in time.
It was amazing feeling Ezra cumming inside her, it felt amazing. She closed her eye, and let out and loud moan. She melted into his arms, "That was amazing daddy, you definitely know how to rock my world." She smiled, and heard his question, and wondered if she should be honest with him about how she felt. She decided that she needed to be, "It's hurting a little....I need to take my medicine, but I'll be alright." She told him honestly, but hated that she couldn't go all out with him. "I'm sorry love...I think I need to rest."
Ezra’s number one concern would always be for Val’s well being. He wouldn’t care if he didn’t love her so much and if it wasn’t for the fact that he nearly lost her. His stomach dropped when he heard that her head was hurting. It didn’t feel good to hear that at all. “I’m sorry. I should have been more careful.” He sat up then and went to get her meds. “Here, take this before you sleep.” After he watched her take her meds, he made sure she was comfortably tucked on his arm and kissed her on the forehead. “Get some rest, Val. You’ll feel better tomorrow.” His hands ran along her soft skin at a gentle pace until they both fell asleep.

The Saga of the Ezra Miller Pic
Just to put into perspective the rollercoaster of emotions getting the photo pass for Ezra Miller was...
The website said that passes would go on sale inside the venue at 10:30 am. I got super giddy about this because as press, I can go in at 10 am. I was determined to be first in line since there were only 47 available that day. After going in, I stake out the booth, seeing no one lined up (at that point it would only be those with organizer, exhibitor or press passes), so I go to the press lounge to chill after doing one walkabout. My friend who is doing video for Comic Con pops in and we chat a bit. I keep stepping out every few minutes to see if anyone is in line and no one is.
Around 10:20 am, I stand outside the press lounge and begin gradually inching my way over there, making friends with the organizers of Comic Con Singapore and Comic Con Global on the way (exchanging business cards and the like). They too want photo passes.
At 10:30 am, we all pop up in front of the booth and were immediately surrounded by people with Star Passes behind us. We’re told that we had to wait until 11 am because only Star Pass holders could buy them at 10:30 am (which makes no sense because they get photo passes as part of their package - YOU DON’T NEED MORE PHOTO PASSES!! LET THE LITTLE PEOPLE HAVE THEM!). And then they said there is only a limited amount so there is a good chance there might not be any left.
Cue a mini-freakout and all of us being severely disappointed.
At first we were just going to give up (I already had a pass for Saturday with Michael Rooker, so at least I’d have that), but after about 10 minutes we noticed that not many people were in line and it had completely cleared out a couple minutes later. Most people over there were just lining up for the Ezra photo spot early. So we go over and wait in front of the booth, determined to be the first in line. One of the organizers asked the girls running the booth if there were any left and lo and behold - there were about 30 passes. So, for 15 agonizing minutes we stood at the front of the line chatting and checking our watches. The girls smiled and laughed with us every time we checked (which was every 2 minutes or so). Come 11 am, we hop up there and just as I'm pulling my wallet out, I hear thundering. Literally seconds later, a whole crowd of regular ticket-holders comes careening around the corner and crowding around the booth.
But it did not matter to me... I had my photo pass and a new battle buddy/friend. We kept each other entertained while waiting in line for 2 hours to take the photo and ended up chatting with his bodyguard for about 20 minutes (think it was because we were three of maybe 5 or 6 obvious foreigners in the whole line). He said Seoul was an obvious stop for them with Ezra’s love interest in “Crimes of Grindewald” being played by Claudia Kim and then asked us what was something they had to do while here - after telling him that two of us had lived in Korea for 3-10 years. So we imparted some tourist information as well as chatting about what we did in Seoul. I mentioned I was a magazine editor and spent 5-6 years solely as a music reporter. He told me to mention this to Ezra because he’d love it. I made a mental note.
We also entertained each other by singing the chorus or bits of 90s hits that we could remember (I had Sheryl Crowe stuck in my head for some reason).
The actual photo session was literally about 30 seconds. I spent two hours thinking of the two poses I wanted to do and what I wanted to say (a good journalist always prepares...) As soon as I walk in, Ezra kind of lights up (again, one of 5-6 obvious foreigners in line or could have been the Harry Potter-esque costume or just his personality) and brightly says "Hello, gorgeous!"
Yea, everything I had prepared just flew out of my head. (Bad journalist.) I walk up and hug him, then ask "How are you liking Seoul?" (Again... SUCH A BAD QUESTION! I WANTED TO ASK ABOUT THE BAND! HIS BODYGUARD TOLD ME TO TELL HIM I WAS A MUSIC JOURNALIST! WHY DIDN’T I DO THAT??) He says it's been fun. We pose for the first photo (wish I had known he was doing Blue Steel 'cause I'd have done the same). Then I completely blank on the second one and ask him what to do (which the instructions said not to do). He quickly says, "Why don't you do Pertificus Totalus and I'll go like this." *Poses* So we set up, with him telling me what to do with the wand. Picture is taken. I get another hug and then I'm ushered out. Can't remember if I said thank you or not.
And that’s that. I wish I hadn’t been so starstruck and had chatted a bit more. I tend to close up and appear standoffish when I’m really nervous - even though I clearly had a huge grin on my face the whole time. At least I have great memories.
Planning to hopefully be less frightened/starstruck fangirl and more cool entertainment journalist today with Michael Rooker. Hopefully they'll let me take my broom in with me. I have about 20 different hilarious photo poses in mind with that...

opinions on the rebels finale?
Oh… I think I might be in the vast, vast, vast minority here but um. (I didn’t love it). I got a little worked up about it, actually, at the time. It’s taken me a while to come down, and now I’m better but like. The storytelling was just ??????
I think mostly I actually had a problem with this whole last season, really. There were so many things I was hoping for, and things that I was hoping would give massive emotional payoff that just…. didn’t happen. I did expect a lot of it, and should have perhaps tempered my expectations for a show that only had limited time to tell the story it wanted to tell. But. I was disappointed and confused.
I’m going to try to keep this short. (It didn’t work.) (I may still be a little baffled.)
1. The introduction of time portals came far too late in SW canon to make sense. And they only used the device once, so it didn’t even feel real - it felt like a convenient plot device to save Ahsoka, and then they didn’t address it again. It would be one thing if the show continued on afterwards and they played with the concept a little bit, but they introduced the portals.... and then the show ended. Which is a problem because it introduced too many wild cards too late in the game. When you’re wrapping up, you should have established the rules of your universe long before that or else it introduces too many questions that you can’t answer in the short amount of time you have left.
2. Kanan. So... Kanan’s a furry now? Or like. He has this connection to Lothal that is stronger than Ezra’s connection to Lothal? Where did that come from? Why? I dunno. I know they were trying to go for the fact that Kanan had accepted his Jedi-ness and like became a true Jedi there at the end, but the buildup and payoff just wasn’t there. Why is Lothal so connected to Kanan? Why is HE the one to protect the time portals in wolf form? And if so, why didn’t he die in a way that was related to THAT? Why is Kanan important in the space portal thing at all especially when space portals were not even established prior to the episode before he died? What I’m saying is I wanted a more consistent narrative with him, and actual plot seeding. The portals, the wolves, the dying and then suddenly becoming a Force Wolf with different goals than when he was a man - it was all very quick. And confusing. Also the way he died was dumb. And then they just??? FORGOT ABOUT HIM in the last episode. WHAT EVEN WAS THE POINT.
Also what was with that hair.
3. Ahsoka got like really fatalistic even for a former Jedi. You can’t save your master, Ahsoka - okay, sure. But that doesn’t mean you can turn a blind eye to what your master is doing and has done. It doesn’t mean that you can just walk away. Maybe you should go have words with him for exploding a planet that one time. The genocide doesn’t bother you? Shouldn’t you, like, you know, stick around to HELP the rebels or something? Because you’re a really powerful person and can DO something about all this? Is it really all that wise and strong to accept your limitations but then not take the next logical step and ask yourself ‘okay, but what CAN I do?’ I’m just saying the Ahsoka I knew from Clone Wars would not have just accepted that she couldn’t save her master, as if she weren’t still intimately connected with the whole situation. As if she could just walk away. As if she could EVER walk away from that situation. AND I’d say it’s wrong to walk away. No, she may not be the one to save Anakin, but she can try to help the people that he’s hurting. She can still fight back against him, because what he is doing? Is WRONG. It’s your responsibility to stand up and do something about it.
Maybe you can argue that Ahsoka was just biding her time and playing the long game here, but I don’t know.. That seems very cold. It’s very Gandalf/Dumbledore of her. People ARE DYING by your former master’s hand and you’re going to go on a side quest to find a space whale? What even?
4. Kanan and Hera/Where did Jacen Syndulla come from? (No, I’m not asking how babies are made. Well. Actually, maybe I am. THIS baby anyway.) In previous seasons, I loved how mature Kanan and Hera’s relationship was - how much they trusted each other and understood each other, and most of all, how much they respected each other - were gentle with each other, and were never, ever possessive of each other. I thought they were the antithesis to Anakin/Padme, which became obsessive/possessive love in the end (on Anakin’s part). Kanan and Hera seemed like truly selfless, comfortable, and equal love. The love that comes from becoming friends - deep, true friends where you know the other’s soul and they know yours, and you always want what is best for the other, and what is best for you both. So to have Hera come to the realization that she loves Kanan in a romantic way at the very, very end? It seemed so cheap. So gimmicky. Like they were trying to make Kanan’s death sadder. Like they were trying to punch Hera in the gut. But you know what’s really sad and gutpunching? Losing the person who has been your partner, best friend, and lover for the past 10 years. That’s heartbreaking. Why couldn’t they have let it been that? Or let Kanan and Hera’s love for each other go unspoken - private between the two of them, like it had been prior to this point in the series. Something that we see only in how anguished Hera is at losing him. That would have felt more real and true to these two characters than what we got - which was a very rushed, very forced death and resolution.
Also, on a more practical note, since Hera just came to this realization like 5 minutes before Kanan died - when exactly was Jacen conceived? No, I’m serious, TELL ME WHEN, WITH TIME STAMPS. Did they slip out for a quickie mid-escape?? Does Kanan’s Force Ghost know how to get it on? When Hera left to lead the assault on Lothal, did they go into her ship for the most awkward banging ever? Is Disney going by like, what you think as a child, and that if two people love each other, then magically a baby suddenly appears when they kiss?
Like, with KANAN I’d be willing to accept that they had sex without ever talking about how they felt about each other, but Hera??? She’s too emotionally intelligent for that. WHEN DID THEY BANG? I’m dying to know. I’m welcoming theories, actually. My top one is that Twi’leks actually conceive through kissing. Please send more.
Also Hera is pregnant when her lover dies? I’m rolling my eyes so hard they’re in danger of ejecting themselves from my face.
5. Optimism/Pessimism. Okay, I really get that they wanted to end the show on a positive, hopeful note. But I’d say that they did that at the cost of their characters and the SW universe. It was an ending that did not mesh with the rest of canon. It just didn’t make sense. If, for example, Ahsoka were alive and kicking, wouldn’t she be like the sliiiiightest bit interested in this hotshot kid who blew up the Death Star whose last name is SKYWALKER? Wouldn’t she want to HELP SAID KID? Wouldn’t she want to KNOW MORE ABOUT HIM? WHERE WAS SHE?
Anyway, this ending left too many holes to be compliant with canon and characters. Ahsoka needed to die. The rebels needed to lose. But I’d also argue that doesn’t mean that it had to be an ending without hope. I would be very interested in seeing a dark end to this series but having the rebels carry on anyway - that hope exists even in the darkest of times. That even when you lose, you still have family, you still have each other, and you still have you, yourself, and you can keep fighting, because it’s the right thing to do. Other people need you, and if you reach out, even with the risk of loss, you can make a difference. Care about your surroundings aggressively, even when you fail. That’s very powerful, and ultimately very uplifting - but it’s not something that I saw from this ending.
6. SPACE WHALES ARE SILLY.
I do, however, think it is absolutely HILARIOUS that Thrawn and Ezra are stuck with each other. Silver lining.

Since the series finale is coming up I wanna talk about all my absolute favorite Rebels episodes, in the order they aired bc ranking them would be so hard and I'm lazy, and why I love them because I feel like I owe it to a show that's been a huge part of my life for the last few years and was one of the things that got me through the nightmare that is the teenage years.
Rise of the Old Masters: I think every good show has that one great episode early on that just tells you "this is gonna be a good show, we have a plan" and gets you hooked, and I believe this was that episode for Rebels. Spark of Rebellion was a solid start, Droids in Distress and Fighter Flight were slower episodes to help you get to know the characters a bit more, and then this episode is, for lack of a better term, when shit started getting real. Ezra and Kanan's relationship starts developing, the Grand Inquisitor is introduced in person and makes a great first impression, we get some of our first major Clone Wars connections, etc. It also uses Yoda's famous "do or do not" line to deliver a nice message. "I'm not gonna TRY to teach you anymore. If all I do is try, that means I don't truly believe I can succeed, so from now on, I WILL teach you".
Path of the Jedi: Once again, Kanan and Ezra both have a lot of development here, both as a team and as individuals. The crazy visions that Ezra experiences were some of the darkest and most intense things in the show at the time, and Frank Oz guest appearing as Yoda's voice and Ezra finally constructing his own lightsaber are both great crowd pleasing moments. It also happens to be the first appearance of the world between worlds, though neither Ezra or the audience realized it at the time, which just goes to show how far back the writers planned everything out.
Call To Action: Tarkin makes his debut and calls out our other villains on their relative incompetence throughout the season, even going so far as to, erm, make an example of two of them, and succeeds where they have failed, even capturing Kanan in the process. Despite the cliffhanger, it's a bittersweet ending as the crew does succeed in their mission to deliver a message of hope to Lothal and the surrounding systems. This is where the stakes start to raise, and it shows.
Fire Across the Galaxy: Ending the first season with a bang, the crew rescues Kanan on Tarkin's star destroyer above Mustafar, the stolen TIE from Fighter Flight actually ends up being relevant, the Grand Inquisitor is sent off in the perfect way, the crew joins with Pheonix Squadron, giving us our earliest look at the growing rebellion, and of course the moment everyone remembers, the reintroduction to Ahsoka Tano, and her former master not long after. It was the perfect way to end the first season while getting everyone hyped for the next.
The Siege of Lothal: Everyone was absolutely hyped for the season 2 premiere and it did not disappoint. While many worried that Vader would be toned down for the show, he proved to be as threatening as ever, outsmarting our heroes time and again, kicking Kanan and Ezra's asses, and putting his pilot skills to use by taking on the entirety of Pheonix Squadron himself. And of course there's the unforgettable scene where he and Ahsoka sense each other and James Earl Jones delivers the iconic, bone chilling line "the apprentice lives".
Stealth Strike: This episode was just fun, plain and simple. Kanan and Rex's bickering, Ezra's interactions with Sato, it was all hilarious and entertaining. It was sweet seeing Kanan and Rex finally start getting along, and it also happens to be one of the few times Commander Sato played a major role in an episode. Despite Sato's fairly minor role in the show I always liked him, so seeing him in the action with the lead characters was nice.
The Future of the Force: The Inquisitors are after force sensitive children to ensure that they don't grow up to become Jedi, and it's up to Ezra, Kanan, Zeb and Ahsoka to stop them. Kanan, Ezra and Zeb having to get out of the apartment building with the Inquisitors hot on their trail was intense and lead to an entertaining chase through town, and it all culminated in the elic fight between Ahsoka and the Inquisitors where we see her brandish her white lightsabers for the first time. The episode also serves as a bit of a continuation of the Clone Wars season 2 premiere, in which Sidious hires Cad Bane to help carry out a very similar plot.
Legacy: The episode starts off intense with the Empire attacking the Rebels at their current location after Ezra accidentally gave it away in the previous episode, while the rest is much slower, as Ezra follows a trail of force breadcrumbs to Ryder Azadi, from whom he finally learns the tragic fate of his parents. I think I speak for a lot of people when I expected him to reunite with them, so the revelation of their deaths was a bit of a shocker, and Ezra's reaction, his vison of being with them on a better Lothal, and Kanan's statement that they'll live on in him were all beautifully tearjerking.
Shroud of Darkness: Even though this episode basically exists for the purpose of setting up the season finale, it still stands on its own as a fan favorite, and rightfully so. Our Jedi Trio of Ezra, Kanan and Ahsoka see lots of cool, trippy visions in the Lothal temple, including the Grand Inquisitor and the revelation of his backstory, the return of Frank Oz as Yoda (this time face to face), and of course Ahsoka getting confirmation that Vader really is her old master, with Matt Lanter reprising his role. The episode also has a number of iconic shots, including the temple guard avatars surrounding the Inquisitors, Ahsoka seeing Yoda in an homage to The Last Crusade, and Vader entering the Lothal temple at the end to meet with his Inquisitors in person.
Thhe Mystery of Chopper Base: A rather straight forward adventure, featuring the crew having to rescue Rex from some creepy ass spider creatures. Like Stealth Strike, this episode is simply fun. It's got so many great interactions between our main crew. But there's also a lingering feeling of dread throughout because, because you know there gonna be separated soon and that something's gonna go wrong because, well, it's Star Wars. It leads into the season finale perfectly.
Twilight of the Apprentice: We all remember this one. We all remember our exact reactions to everything in it. Maul is introduced, Ezra starts being tempted by the dark side, the Inquisitors are all killed off, Kanan is blided, and of course Ahsoka and Vader have their climactic duel that was built up for the whole season and did not disappoint, and the last minute or so simply showing the aftermath of everything that happened as “It’s All Over” plays is so effective with absolutely no dialogue. Not only that, but, and I’ve said this before, this episode is also the point where all the big parts of the timeline directly come together. In this episode, Rebels, Clone Wars, the prequels, the originals and even the sequels are all directly connected in a way that they never were before, and it’s not until a later episode that they’re all connected on that same level again. This episode, and subsequently the whole show, is the fulcrum of the Star Wars saga.
The Holocrons of Fate: Maul makes his return and has his sights set on both the Sith holocron from Malachor and Kanan’s Jedi holocron so that he can combine their power to learn any knowledge he desires. This leads to our mind-blowing climax in which Maul learns through the light of the holocrons that Obi-wan is still alive and sets off to find him, while Ezra sees a vision of twin suns, also pointing to Obi-wan, albeit in a less direct way. While the whole episode is entertaining the ending is truly what sets its place as one of the best simply because of the epic factor.
The Last Battle: This episode is simply a half hour of pure unadultered Clone Wars nostalgia and I loved every goddamn second of it. Everything from the battle of Christophsis soundtrack to the return of the droid humor from tcw to General Kalani from the Onderon arc being there to the heroes having to team up with the droids thanks to Ezra being the voice of reason and making them realize they were all just pawns for Palpatine and he is their true enemy, and the yellow Clone Wars style title card at the end with the Clone Wars theme playing during the credits, it’s just a giant love letter to the entire Clone Wars fanbase, a thank you for helping the crew get where they are today. It shows how much they truly appreciate their fans, which shouldn’t be a rare thing with content creators but it is.
An Inside Man: I have a sorta complicated relationship with Agent Kallus, who I guess isn’t an agent anymore but that’s beside the point. I don’t like him that much as I feel his redemption arc could’ve been handled much better and he could’ve done more to earn it, which I’ve talked about before. Yet despite this, I love not only this episode but another Kallus centered episode later on that I’ll get to. This whole episode is intense and excited. Mister Sumar, a minor character from season 1, is reintroduced only to be brutally killed by Thrawn, seeting the stakes for the episode, and establishing Thrawn as an effective villain. While Thrawn’s episodes before this one were more about him simply studying the heroes from behind the scenes, this is the point where he starts taking direct action against the heroes, and does it damn well. He figures out all their tricks that all the Imperials before him overlooked, and Kanan and Ezra only barely get out.
Visions and Voices: Maul returns once again to finish his mind connection with Ezra, leading to the return to Dathomir where the ghosts of the Nightsisters serve as the Guest Appearance Of The Week and posess Kanan and Sabine in rather creepy ways, Ezra also discovers Obi-wan is alive while Maul finds out where he’s hiding, and of course Sabine gets her hands on the darksaber. Like Shroud of Darkness this episode exists just to set up a climactic fight in a later episode, but still stands on it’s own.
Trials of the Darksaber/Legacy of Mandalore: I put these together because they’re basically a two-parter and because I love them for largely the same reasons. These were the first Sabine episodes where she finally got some real, major development as a character. Previous Sabine centered episode seemed to all follow the pattern of “have some dialogue hinting at her backstory that we give away in the sneak peeks then no other answers” and it was frustrating because beyond that those episodes were solid episode, but the way they kept promoting them to be bigger than they were did effect my enjoyment of them at the time. These episode finally resolve that problem and give us payoff to all those hints, and boy was that payoff satisfying. We get the backstory of the darksaber, Sabine training, we’re finally introduced to her family, and the final battle between Sabine and Gar Saxon is simply epic.
Through Imperial Eyes: This is the other Kallus episode that I love despite my “meh” opinion of the character. The banter between Kallus and Ezra is very entertaining to watch, Kallus’s plan for framing Liste as the traitor to keep his cover is very clever, though obviously not clever enough to fool Thrawn, who once again proves to be a great villain and shows that he can hold his own in a physical fight, and of course Yularen appearing was cool.
Twin Suns: The long awaited final showdown between Obi-wan and Maul, who actually finally dies for good, like is really, seriously, legit, for real, in actuality, finally permanently dead, deceased, lifeless, killed, devoid of life, sleeping with the fishes, an ex-person. At first I was in the crowd of people who were like “what the fuck” at how quick he went out, but in analysis I wouldn’t have it any other way. It shows how much Obi-wan has wisened over the years whereas Maul never learned, never changed, and tried the same thing he did on Qui-Gon, and it proved to be his final downfall. The way Obi-wan holds Maul’s body in his arms the same way he did with both Qui-Gon and Satine so many years before, and shows sadness and pity that it couldn’t have turned out differently is absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking. The cartoons made Maul such an interesting character, and cemented him as one of my favorite villains, and I couldn’t ask for a better conclusion to this decades old rivalry.
Zero Hour: While not as mind blowing as the previous season’s finale, Zero Hour is still and intense and action packed way to conclude the season. We see the end of Pheonix Squadron and the beginnings of then true Rebel Alliance, Sato gets an epic and heroic send off, the fight in space with Ezra and the Mandos is epic, the Bendu gives us a glimpse of his true power, and Thrawn is as great a villain as ever. The whole thing is simply epic.
In The Name of the Rebellion: We finally saw the Rebel Alliance on Yavin 4 in all its glory, Saw makes a return and, as I said when the episodes first aired, I believe the Moral Ambiguity with his character, while still not perfect, was handled better here than in Ghosts of Geonosis, but i don’t feel like repeating myself so just look the post up if you haven’t read it already. Anyway Saw’s interactions with Ezra and Sabine were a lot of fun to watch, like if we’re still giving everyone space fmaily nicknames then Saw is like the slightly crazed but still kinda cool uncle in this episode. All the connections to Rogue One were a ton of fun to piece together, and it was great to finally see a giant kyber crystal that’s actually fully animated. Also Jennifer Hale was in it so that’s pretty neat.
Flight of the Defender: A very simple and straight forward episode. Ezra and Sabine steal the TIE defender prototype, they crash it and hide the hyperdrive, we meet the white lothwolf who helps them get back to their friends. I can’t even really explain why I like this one so much tbh, but I do.
Jedi Night/DUMJE: We all know why these episodes are here. I couldn’t ask for a more epic and heartbreaking send off for Kanan’s character, and I’m glad that they dedicated the entire following episode to showing how the rest of the cast deals with their grief in different way rather than glossing over it and immediately moving on to the Mortis stuff. It’s surprisingly rare for characters to get to properly grieve in this franchise despite death being so common. Obi-wan, Galen, Han, Luke, the entire population of Alderaan, the other characters have to get over these things pretty quickly so it’s nice to see a more realistic aftermath for once.
Wolves and a Door/A World Between Worlds: I’ve made my thoughts on these episodes very clear since they aired on Monday, which is that they are quite possibly the most mind blowing thing I’ve watched in a very long time. The connections to Mortis and callbacks to all the movies and to Clone Wars, the voices in the background, the beautifully animated moving pictures, the return of Ahsoka and the revelation of what happened to her, Sidious making his debute with Ian McDiarmid himself providing the voice, it’s all incredible to watch. Like I said about Twilight of the Apprentice, this episode is one of the few times where we get an idea of just how connected everything really is, that it’s all one big story. No wonder the two episodes are also so tightly connected to each other, they truly are where all the parts of the saga come together in ways they never could otherwise.
#this is quite possibly the longest post ive ever made im just. so passionate about this show ok#its so important to me i just had to make a big huge analysis about why i love it so much#im gonna miss it so much but im glad its gonna get the proper ending it deserves#instead of getting canned while still in its prime like tcw#star wars rebels#shut up tristan

The Newest Dawn
The grass was soft underneath Kanan’s bare feet, the sun was setting over Lothal, a cool evening breeze surrounding him. The kids were sprawled out a few feet away from them, their light a bright welcoming beacon in the force. He could hear Zeb’s music, and could feel Ezra trying to connect with the nearby Lothcats, Hera informed him also that Sabine was putting flowers in both boy’s hair. They were laughing and joking about something Kanan couldn’t hear, but the sound was music to his ears.
In his arms, was Hera, one of her hands was intertwined with his, her head resting on his chest. She was as beautiful as ever, sure he couldn’t see her, but he knew she was, and now, her light was brighter than it ever had been, so bright that he was sure if he wasn’t already, it would blind him.
“We won,” Kanan whispered to her, she looked up at him.
“We haven’t won yet, there is still work to be done,” Hera told him seriously, but the words were followed quickly by a huge grin.
“Well close enough,” Kanan smirked, she rolled her eyes and returned her head to his chest. Kanan wasn’t sure how he had gotten so lucky. He had made it out of this war with only the loss of his sight. Many good men had given their lives for the cost, a fact that he wasn’t, couldn’t, overlook, but he was eternally grateful that he had made it out of the war with his family. They were all changed, different, for better or worse, but they were still there, and they were still his.
“Kanan,” Hera said softly, not moving her head.
“Yes dear?” He responded coyly.
She lifted her head up at that. He could feel her eyes on him, searching, though for what he did not know, “Kanan, I love you,” she said, almost nervously, like she was afraid he wouldn’t return the sentiment, though he had proven his own feelings time and time again.
“I love you too, Hera,” he said planting a kiss on her forehead.
As the night dragged on the children eventually fell asleep in a pile, Kanan couldn’t see it of course, but Hera had assured him that it was hilarious and adorable. Kanan dozed off a time or two through the night, but Hera had been awake all night just staring up at the stars. He tried to stay up as much as possible to keep her company, though she didn’t really seem to mind whether he was awake or asleep. It wasn’t until the sun started to peak over the horizon, that Hera really felt like talking.
“Did you get any sleep?” Kanan asked, it had been his longest nap of the night, and had awoken to much more warmth on his face then the last time he had awoken. He cursed himself for sleeping so long.
“No, too much to think about to sleep,” Hera responded alertly, he didn’t know how she did it, she could run at peak condition with little to no food, sleep, or water. She was truly a superhero, and he was grateful she was his.
“You have to sleep eventually,” He told her pulling himself up into a sitting position beside her.
“I do sleep,” Hera said resting her head on his shoulder.
“The kids still asleep?”
“Haven’t made a peep.”
They sat that way in comfortable silence for a moment, Hera watching the sunrise, while Kanan felt content feeling her watch it, her force signature so bright it could have made two Hera’s. That was when he realized that it was too bright, like there was almost another Hera. “Hera?” he asked.
“Yes, love?”
“Are you okay? You feel abnormally bright,” He remarked.
“It’s just because I am happy,” She said, the words seemed normal enough, but there was something off about her voice.
“Spill,” He told her, she let out a huge sigh in return.
“You know how that night before the last battle….” She let the sentence hang in the air.
“Of course.”
“Well, I hadn’t been really worried about anything happening since it wasn’t in the plan to happen, but it appears we should have been a little more careful that night,” She told him, her voice a mixture of hope, happiness, and stress.
“You mean?” He asked, not wanting to say the words, not wanting to get his hopes up about what they would mean for him, for their future.
“Uh-huh,” She said and all at once those two little syllables had changed everything, for him, for her, for their family.
He quickly grabbed Hera by the wrist and rolled them over so he was on top of her, kissing her, trying to impress all of the happiness and joy that he felt into the kiss, he could feel her smile against his lips as they finally pulled away, but it faded quickly. “Kanan what are we going to do? Is this really the best time?” she asked worry filling her voice.
“The war is all but over, a baby is the perfect way to bring in the New Republic, don’tcha think?” He said with a huge smile. He heard a small laugh from her, and rested his forehead against hers, “Either way, I think we will be fine. We can do anything as long as we do it together.”
“But the Rebellion, its going to need my help in the final stages,” Hera argued.
“You will be a help to the Rebellion, commanding from base, and aiding in the remaining relief efforts as needed,” Kanan told her. He knew it would be hard to restrict her to that, and usually he wouldn’t dream of it, but if he could keep her out of immediate danger for the next nine months he was going to do it.
Hera was quiet for a moment, obviously not in love with what Kanan had said, but finally said, “Okay, I think I can do that. Let’s do it.”
At those words Kanan leaned down to kiss her one more time before rolling over beside her, Hera immediately cuddling up to him, “Looks like this is going to be a new dawn for us, in more ways than one,” he chuckled feeling the early morning sun on face.
“Looks like it,” Hera said back, her force presence as bright as it had been earlier, and now with his new knowledge he could barely discern the difference between her presence and the new presence inside of her.

My Favorite Songs of 2019
2019 was a fantastic year for music, but then again every year is. We as listeners have been blessed with abundance, and tasked with the delightful work of sifting through freshwater to find gold. This year, the most reliably golden genres were West African pop and West Coast Rap. Go figure.
The following represents my favorite 100 songs of the year. My only rules: 1) one song per lead artist (a lucky few earned multiple placements through the “featured artist” loophole).
Below are the write-ups (everyone’s favorite part) and stay tuned for my albums list, coming next week. Don’t forget to scroll all the way down for a Spotify playlist of the full list!
25. Desperate Journalist - “Satellite” - A sweeping, emotional rock song by a veteran rock band that can uncork one of these in their sleep. What makes this one special? The dynamic changes in the pre-chorus, the soaring guitar solo, and the passionate performance from lead singer Jo Bevan.
24. Jacques Greene - “Stars” - A brilliant bit of ambient techno that evokes the seminal electronic classic “Little Fluffy Clouds,” by The Orb. Instead of desert clouds, the anonymous female narrator describes a pastoral dream about the night skies of her youth. A transporting piece of music that should’ve been twice as long--five minutes is a cruelly short lifespan for this kind of bliss.
23. Rosalía - “Con Altura” ft. J Balvin - After the brilliant and singular El Mal Querer demonstrated Rosalía’s singular talent, “Con Altura” announced her intentions for worldwide domination. Created with frequent Rosalía collaborator El Guincho and chameleonic superstar J Balvin, “Con Altura” contains two of the year’s most insidious hooks--the soft-spoken call-and-response chorus, and Rosalía’s snake-charming bridge, the strongest indication yet that global stardom won’t stop the Catalonian chanteuse from pushing music forward.
22. Faye Webster - “Room Temperature” – 2019’s answer to “Swingin’ Party,” the Replacements’ great anthem for introverts, the introductory track on Webster’s Atlanta Millionaire’s Club album drifts along with Hawaiian-flavored pedal steel and a palpable sense of regret, as the 21-year-old singer longs to escape her perfectly comfortable surroundings. 21. Yhung T.O. - “Lately” ft. Lil Sheik - Easy, breezy, beautiful Bay Area rap, carried by T.O.’s dulcet tones and Sheik’s unrepentant dirtbaggery. The beat by Armani Depaul is one of my favorite retro-facing rap beats in a while, complete with smooth digital strings and security-pad synths. 20. The New Pornographers - “You’ll Need a New Backseat Driver” - Every five years or so, A.C. Newman writes a melody so strong that it requires Neko Case’s ultra-powerful alto to properly do it justice. This year, that song is “You’ll Need a New Backseat Driver,” which strives for, and nearly approaches, the heights of previous Pornos stunners like “The Laws Have Changed” and “Champions of Red Wine.”
19. Floating Points - “LesAlpx” - Surrounded by outré synth experiments and beatless soundscapes on Crush, the first Floating Points album since 2015, “LesAlpx” is Sam Shepherd’s gift to club-goers everywhere. It’s a lean and mean house track, foregrounding propulsive percussion and rubbery bass, but it’s also deeply cerebral, creating a sense of foreboding urgency with detuned synths and ambient sine waves. 18. Daphni - “Sizzling” ft. Paradise - Built around a sample of Paradise’s seminal single “Sizzlin’ Hot,” Dan Snaith’s “Sizzling” extends the best moments of the classic post-disco smash to create five minutes of pure euphoria. The song starts in media res, with the groove in full form, and peaks at the end, when Snaith finally allows Paradise’s June Ventzos to finish her thought atop jubilant trumpets. 17. J Hus - “Must Be” - The latest genre-blending collaboration between J Hus and genius producer JAE5 proves that no man is safe from Hus’s dazzling logic, as he stacks syllogism after syllogism over an irresistible, afropop-flavored groove: “If it walk like an opp/Talk like an opp/Smell like an opp/Then it must be.” 16. Vampire Weekend - “Jerusalem, New York, Berlin” - Ever indulging his literary ambitions, Ezra Koenig uses the final track on Father Of The Bride to examine his Jewish identity, and to reckon with a world that hasn’t made sense since World War I. The prettiest melody on an album dripping with pretty melodies, “Jerusalem, New York, Berlin” packs enough symbolism into three minutes to inspire a seminar at Koenig’s Ivy League alma mater. Supported by yearning, spritely piano, Koenig ends the song with a poignant plea for peace, within reason: “So let them win the battle/But don't let them restart/That genocidal feeling/That beats in every heart.” 15. Great Grandpa - “Bloom” - The highlight from Great Grandpa’s outstanding Four Of Arrows album, “Bloom” is two songs in one. Part one brings punchy acoustic guitar that recalls ‘90s adult alternative (think Matchbox 20) and prime-era Saddle Creek (think Rilo Kiley) in equal measure. The second par tcompletes the song’s emotional arc, slowing down for a hypnotic wordless chorus, backed by weeping violins,. The key line here: “Please say I’m young enough to change.” 14. Spellling - “Real Fun” – Gleefully dramatic and overflowing with evil-sounding synths, “Real Fun” synthesizes Neneh Cherry, Bauhaus, and Cabaret into something that sounds like a villain’s theme in an animated musical that hasn’t been written yet. 13. Earthgang - “Proud Of U” ft. Young Thug – There’s no straight man to ground this ATL trio, as all three emcees lean into their vocal eccentricities while expressing their thanks to the women in their lives atop a mutating, guitar-driven beat. 12. Stella Donnelly - “Tricks” – In which the young heroine attempts to rid herself of a particularly toxic ex, who isn’t just misogynist, but a potential white supremacist sympathizer (her subject’s “Southern Cross Tattoo” is like an Aussie version of the MAGA hat). Heavy stuff, but Donnelly delivers everything with a grin, as if she’s wondering in real time why the hell she ever bothered with this jamoke. 11. Jenny Lewis - “On The Line” - The title track and emotional climax of Jenny Lewis’ latest album, “On The Line” boasts one of the finest vocal performances in her long career, sweetly assassinating her cheating ex-lover with a lilting melody and wry smile.
10. Lucinda Chua - “Whatever It Takes” – Lucinda Chua makes languid art pop in the tradition of fka twigs, but I prefer her understated longing to twigs herself. Her main instrument is the cello, but this track foregoes that sound almost entirely, opting instead for resonant Wurlitzer keys and multi-layered vocal harmonies, and shunting traditional song structure aside in favor of one enigmatic verse, repeating at odd intervals throughout: “Wait/The demons I carry are fake/I will fight our fire, too late.” 9. ShooterGang Kony - “Charlie” – The year’s most cold-blooded mob banger starts with the line “fuck the police and your mama if you ask me” and only escalates from there. Rhyming without affect over hiccuping bass, Kony mercilessly ethers cops, R&B singers, and women named Ashley before threatening to shoot you with a gun that sounds like Fozzy Bear. 8. KEY! - “Miami Too Much” – My favorite Atlanta rap song of the year gets its power from its hilariously specific central conceit, with KEY’s impassioned vocal selling the bit: “If you seen that ass, you'd make a song too.” How often must someone visit Dade County before it becomes an irreconcilable difference in an otherwise healthy relationship? 7. Raphael Saadiq - “Something Keeps Calling” ft. Rob Bacon - Named after his older brother, Raphael Saddiq’s towering Jimmy Lee album examines the personal cost of the crack epidemic, and the outsized role addiction plays in the lives of the destitute. “Something Keeps Calling” is the album’s crushing centerpiece, painting substances as at once a seductive lover and a heavy burden, one that overrides all common sense and decency: “My friends say I can never pull it together/Well they might be right, at least tonight/My kids say I'll never come home again/And I know they're right, at least tonight.” The song climaxes with Rob Bacon’s wailing guitar solo, which tries in vain to reach out to those beyond hope. 6. Bad Bunny & J Balvin - “La Canción” - Nestled in the middle of Balvin and Bunny’s summer smash OASIS, “La Canción” takes a break from the party to dwell on the inherent emptiness of their hedonistic lifestyle, as a mournful trumpet echoes the Reggaetoneros’ longing for meaningful connection amidst their chaotic lives. 5. Polo G - “Pop Out” ft. Lil TJay – Only Polo G would interrupt his own robbery to examine the sociological causes of his behavior: “We come from poverty, man, we ain't have a thing.” But on the rest of “Pop Out,” Polo leans into the dark side of his persona, before 2019’s most unlikely guest verse assassin Lil TJay brings the pathos: “If I showed you all my charges, you won't look at me the same.” In contrast to how effortless the two rappers sound atop the dramatic piano loop, listening to Lil Baby and Gunna wheeze through the remix hammers home the high degree of difficulty of such nimble melodics. It’s a testament to how fast rap music moves these days that Polo and TJay can make last year’s It Duo sound like geezers. 4. Octo Octa - “I Need You” – It starts as an intoxicatingly minimal expression of dancefloor lust, but halfway through, “I Need You” morphs into a sincere and moving tribute to everybody who helped Octo Octa become the woman she is today. It’s a moving moment tucked within an epic club track that works equally well as build-up or comedown.
3. Purple Mountains - “All My Happiness Is Gone” - It’s hard to find the words for this one, a matter-of-fact documentation of a man slowly losing his will to live--which became heartbreakingly clear when David Berman committed suicide in August. But because it’s Berman, “All My Happiness Is Gone” is packed with genius-level wordplay and devastating observations, and enough gallows humor to truly emphasize the gravity of his situation: “Friends are warmer than gold when you're old/And keeping them is harder than you might suppose//Lately, I tend to make strangers wherever I go/Some of them were once people I was happy to know.” I’ll keep going: “Ten thousand afternoons ago/All my happiness just overflowed/That was life at first and goal to go.” And one more: “Where nothing's wrong and no one's asking/But the fear's so strong it leaves you gasping/No way to last out here like this for long.”
2. Big Thief - “Not” - A torrid, slow-burning rocker, “Not” showcases lead singer-songwriter Adrienne Lenker’s skill with oblique imagery and wild-eyed intensity. Lenker rattles off a long list of poetic observations, trying to get to the heart of something (everything?) without ever finding a satisfactory answer, as the music morphs from a controlled simmer to a cacophonous freakout. “Not” climaxes with a riotous guitar solo from Lenker herself, one that reaches towards the cosmos and echoes her frayed vocal. As always with Big Thief, though, the song soars in the smallest moments, like when guitarist Buck Meek enters with plainspoken backing vocals, and at the beginning of the second verse when the guitars drop out and Lenker’s voice stands alone.
1. Burna Boy - “Anybody” - Sometimes the best song of the year is the one that makes you feel the best, and no song this year made me feel better than “Anybody.” “Anybody” is both inviting and aloof, urgent and relaxing. Riding an irresistible groove defined by syncopated keys, driving percussion, and an eager-to-please saxophone, Burna Boy slides between Pidgin English and Yoruba chasing a feeling that resonates beyond the capabilities of language. It’s a song about demanding and receiving respect, dripping with the contagious confidence of an African Giant. And for three minutes, you’ll feel like a giant too.
THE REST: 26. DaBaby - “Intro” 27. Perfume Genius - “Eye On The Wall” 28. Yves Jarvis - “To Say That Is Easy” 29. Doja Cat - “Cyber Sex” 30. Mannequin Pussy - “Drunk II” 31. Better Oblivion Community Center - “Dylan Thomas” 32. Shoreline Mafia - “Wings” 33. Kehlani - “Footsteps” ft. Musiq Soulchild 34. Obangjayar - “Frens” 35. Ariana Grande - “NASA” 36. Mustard ft. Roddy Ricch - “Ballin” 37. Baby Keem - “ORANGE SODA” 38. Jessie Ware - “Adore You” 39. 03 Greedo x Kenny Beats - “Disco Shit” ft. Freddie Gibbs 40. Martha - “Love Keeps Kicking” 41. Lucki - “More Than Ever” 42. Park Hye-Jin - “Call Me” 43. DaVido - “Disturbance” ft. Peruzzi 44. The Japanese House - “Worms” 45. Spencer Radcliffe - “Here Comes The Snow” 46. Dawn Richard - “Dreams And Converse” 47. ALLBLACK & Offset Jim - “Fees” ft. Capolow 48. David Kilgour - “Smoke You Right Out Of Here” 49. Sandro Perri - “Wrong About The Rain” 50. Nilüfer Yanya - “In Your Head” 51. Julia Jacklin - “Don’t Know How To Keep Loving You” 52. Miraa May - “Angles” ft. JME 53. (Sandy) Alex G - “Gretel” 54. Kelsey Lu - “Due West” 55. glass beach - “classic j dies and goes to hell, pt. 1” 56. Peggy Gou - “Starry Night” 57. Cate Le Bon - “Home To You” 58. Busy Signal - “Balloon” 59. NLE Choppa - “Shotta Flow” 60. Dee Watkins - “Hell Raiser” 61. Ari Lennox - “I Been” 62. The National - “Not In Kansas” 63. Shordie Shordie - “Both Sides” ft. Shoreline Mafia 64. Alex Lahey - “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself” 65. Angel Olsen - “New Love Cassette” 66. Young Dolph - “Tric Or Treat” 67. Koffee - “Throne” 68. Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - “Half Manne, Half Cocaine” 69. Born with the Moon in Sagittarius, you are likely to be innately optimistic, expansive and positive in your point of view. Sagittarius is a Fire sign, and so accentuates the passionate, idealistic and creative dimensions of life. Sagittarius is also mutable in action, which means you are likely to have an innate need for variety and change. When passion and variety combine, there is often a deep calling for freedom. Because the Moon describes your natural response to things, or where you feel at home, you are likely to feel most comfortable roaming free – exploring your world and expanding horizons wherever possible. This expansion can happen in numerous ways. On the one hand, this lunar position implies a love of travel, and fascination with foreign places. You may be something of a “gypsy” at heart, with a powerful longing to explore the world and move around. You may find you travel a lot, or seek work and situations that allow you contact with foreign places and cultures. Even if circumstances do not allow, you are likely to wish that they would, and can easily imagine yourself making your home anywhere in the world. Dreaming of far-off places helps you engage with your need to be free. Anything that brings you contact with exotic people and situations will warm your heart. You would rather dine at a distant Mongolian restaurant than spend yet another Friday night at the local bistro. Feeling free to experience other cultures satisfies deep emotional needs. This urge for freedom is very strong, and can make you restless at times. You dislike the feeling of being stuck in any place for too long, and will need variety with your environment. You may decorate your home in an eclectic way, or surround yourself with objects that remind you of places you would like to be. When life becomes too routine, it can easily seem lifeless and dull. Therefore, it is important that you freshen up your perspective from time to time by getting out to places that you have not been before. Another way for you to broaden horizons is through study or learning. This sign relates to the search for truth, and ultimately pursuit of wisdom. You are likely to find you have a need to feel that you are always learning or discovering something new. You may be an eternal student, or spend much of your time with recreational pursuits that have an educational bent as well. You can feel that your world is expanding through the knowledge that you acquire, and even if this just means you are a student of life, you are likely to find that knowledge opens your horizons and helps you feel free. Sagittarius is also the sign of the teacher, as well as the preacher. The need to seek truth and wisdom can also translate into a love of sharing that with others. You may have natural gifts for inspiring others to be the best that they can be. You may be very good at explaining different points of view, and may find that others are drawn to you for the breadth of experience you can share. Your greatest gift is your ability to give others the same freedom you require to find your own truth. When you let them explore different ideas and work out what is true for them, you allow them to expand their awareness. You are likely to make a good teacher, trainer or mentor based on your ability to inspire and educate. On the flip side, you may also tend to become so consumed with what you believe to be true that you end of preaching to others in order to convert them to your point of view. You may need to consider whether you have a need to be right, and a tendency to broadcast your belief systems as if they were the only possible option for others to choose. Because this placement implies a strong attachment to the search for truth, there may be a tendency toward believing that what you have discovered as true for yourself should be the truth for everyone else. And so, you may have a tendency toward being bombastic that should be kept in check. When pushed by an emotional undercurrent, you may “share” from a biased point of view, based on trying to prove your version of “reality” and bring others to agree with your point of view. Recognizing that there are many paths which can lead to the same centre is useful, and necessary when agitated by the circumstances that surround you. That said, you are much more likely to be optimistic, positive and sunny in your disposition, with a tendency to live and let live. Sagittarius is a sign of broad-mindedness and you are likely to possess a philosophical approach to life. As a rule, Sagittarian types are more concerned with the big picture than with attention to detail, and unless other factors are present, you may need to watch out for any tendency to brush over the fine print, and get yourself into trouble through an over-reliance on faith as opposed to reason. All in all however, your happy and optimistic disposition should be one of your greatest assets, and help you to rise time and again from any of life’s setbacks. Finally you may also seek to broaden horizons through testing the limits of life itself. Sagittarius is associated with a love of challenge. You may have a need to test the limits of what is possible for you in quite immediate or physical ways. You can instinctively rise to any challenge that is before you, enjoying the feeling of conquest that comes from doing something you couldn’t do before. Here, you can combine your natural positivity with an actual task to focus on, so relishing the new insights that come through learning to go beyond where you’ve been before. Your nature means you are likely to be very enthusiastic, and can draw upon a natural flow of insight and intuition in order to solve the problems that present themselves to you. You may enjoy extreme sports, difficult forms of physical activity or just long sessions at the gym. Finding ways to challenge and push boundaries is a great source of emotional satisfaction, providing you with the reassurance that anything just may be possible for you!

❤️ Virgo Moon (♍︎☽) + Taurus Moon (♉︎☽) :
Virgo Moon and Taurus Moon are extremely compatible. They have a great deal of respect and understanding for each other. Taurus is stable and pragmatic; Virgo is practical and attends to detail. They are made for each other. Both partners are cautious and approach new things slowly. They both enjoy working with nature and natural materials. Both are concerned about how change will affect them.Their differences lie in how they react. While Taurus Moon will forge ahead once they commit to an idea, Virgo Moon will constantly second guess and criticize their choice. The worrying done by Virgo will be comforted by Taurus’ steadiness and emotional stability. Taurus, in turn, helps Virgo to relax and become more instinctual. Virgo Moon may become annoyed with the lackadaisical way that Taurus Moon leaves things all over the house. Overall, however, this is a happy and content pairing. They meet each others’ needs for intimacy and pleasant company. They will be most content in the country or if they are able to grow a garden or at least go camping frequently. They have a need to interact with nature in some way. This pairing should do very well with minimal effort.
❤️ Virgo Moon (♍︎☽) + Capricorn Moon (♑︎☽):
Virgo Moon and Capricorn Moon are the best of friends the moment they meet. They can’t believe their luck in finding someone who shares so many things in common. They are highly compatible, and this relationship should work out well for all concerned. Both Virgo Moon and Capricorn Moon are organized and practical. They both work hard and want to be useful. Both are willing to forego their own desires and feelings in lieu of responsibilities. They are self-disciplined and meticulous. They are faithful, constant and don’t like risks. They will happily tread the safe, logical path to financial security. Together they can have a very powerful connection. Others may view them as boring, but they feel secure and happy. They need to make sure they don’t expect too much of themselves. With their self-critical tendencies, they can undermine their own work. They do need to be wary of overwork. All work and no play will make even Virgo Moon and Capricorn Moon dull. If they can learn to relax and enjoy themselves as well as maintain their responsibilities, they will be extremely happy.

With the Moon in the practical and systematic sign of Virgo, you are likely to be someone who is highly appreciative of structure, organization and detail. You will find your life works better with well-established systems in your personal and professional life. Virgo is an Earth sign, and so pertains to tangible or physical things. It is also known as a Mutable sign, which infers a need for variety and change. When practicality and change are brought together, the principle of refinement is found. Born with the Moon in Virgo, you are likely to have an innate need to improve or refine the circumstances around you – combining practical know-how with the analytical quality necessary to achieve specific results. Virgo is a sign of service. You are likely to find you have an innate need to nurture yourself and others through offering practical service in everyday ways. Virgo is also a sign of humility. You may be quite happy working behind the scenes, adding your considerable talent for organization to whatever you are involved in and happy to be of service, often asking nothing in return. The satisfaction of a job well-conceived, well-planned and well-done often provides the result you need. You should take care, however, not to allow this natural instinct for service to be manipulated, or taken advantage of by others. Ancient astrologers saw a relationship between the sign of Virgo and the condition of slavery. It is important that your need to be useful does not turn into the need to be someone else’s “pack-horse”. The Moon refers to how we need to be nurtured. You will find a tendency to feel safe or secure through knowing that things are tidy, structured and planned. Routine is your friend, and establishing well-ordered routines in your daily life will help you think more clearly. Virgo is associated with process and purification at both material and mental levels. You are likely to be emotionally affected by how well your daily systems are functioning and how ‘pure’ life conditions are. At a simple level, you are likely to feel awkward and uncomfortable in chaotic environments. You will feel more serene and so focussed in an organized space. At a more subtle level, you can be emotionally affected by food additives, pollutants and synthetics in your environment. This is not to say that you are ‘precious’ or need to be wrapped in cotton wool. It is just that you will feel impurities more acutelythan others. Above all else, you need a calm, peaceful and well ordered environment to access your astute thinking processes. You are nurtured by organization and structure. You assimilate information better when processes are clear, and sources of nourishment relatively clean. This is a sign of mental discrimination. You may have innate talents for editing or discernment, able to describe other people’s traits, dispositions and downfalls. Thus you may have strong writing abilities, or work well in fields involving communication, personal service and customer relations. You are likely to have a keen mind, and a great eye for detail. This can be turned to its’ full advantage by seeking occupations that allow you to capitalize on your ability to spot the ‘bottom line’. You are likely to be very good at extracting the essence from something otherwise complicated. You have the ability to sort the wheat from the chaff, and find what is essential in a sentence, task list or schedule. Because of your strong analytical ability, you may need to make sure that you watch your tendency to be overly critical, finding fault with yourself and others rather than working toward improving whatever situation you are in. Your capacity for analysis is great for problem-solving, but can also be your downfall. You are likely to be highly adaptable, but also prone to excessive worry. You can easily fall victim to nervous tension by constantly finding faults or remaining in chaotic environments that go against your instinctual needs. It is important that you learn to take time out when needed, and find ways to remedy the effects of too much nervous tension. Meditation, yoga, martial arts and other forms of mind-body exercise can be especially beneficial. This will greatly assist you to stay focussed and calm.Often, those with the Moon here can be quietly critical of self and others. Your tendency to criticize your own efforts may make it difficult for you to see your own true worth. You may underestimate your contributions and be innately convinced that whatever you do, it is not good enough. This can be a humble and shy position for the Moon. Unless other factors in your chart offer more outgoing tendencies, you may fail to receive credit for all that you have achieved. It is important that you learn to recognize how useful you are. Next time you are concerned that you have not ‘done enough’ simply ask yourself if you have improved the situation you are in. Rather than striving to be perfect, you will find that striving to make things better satisfies your need to be useful, and helps you take unrealistic expectations off yourself. On another level, Virgo is associated with the body and health. Thus, you may have an instinctual interest in matters of health, diet and nutrition. You may be naturally quite healthy simply because you have an interest in your own wellbeing, and notice that life flows better for you with regular exercise and good eating habits. It is very important that you to pay close attention to what you do, and do not, eat. Often, those with the Moon here have very delicate digestive and nervous systems. You are likely to find that you may have trouble with your stomach or nerves if you lose touch with your own bodily needs. Excess worry or problems with digestion may plague you if you do not pay attention to what you ingest. Taking in pure food (as well as experiences) is a very practical thing for you. You can be adversely affected by processed foods, and overcome with anxiety if exposed to harsh or critical people. Making sure you improve the systems that regulate your own personal life is essential for you. Through good food, routine and regular exercise you can enjoy extraordinarily good health This interest in health is often quite strong. You may have natural abilities in any area to do withhealth, nutrition and healing, especially in the area of natural therapies, herbs and pharmacology. Often those with the Moon here are drawn to service roles such as nursing and community work. Finding ways to be useful is important. Any activity that lets you combine your innate practicality, fine mind, and willingness to help can work well for you, leading to beneficial outcomes for all concerned. Individuals with the moon in Virgo are usually simple in nature and prefer to live a quiet life without the glare of public eye. They look for small things in their life to seek happiness and contentment. It is the small and insignificant matters in life like plucking flowers from a garden that give them real happiness. It is in their basic nature to not only take care of themselves, but to take care of others as well. Thus, such individuals are of extremely helpful nature and will be first to lend a helping hand to those in distress. These individuals love to have a routine in their life. They cannot do without a routine and if it is missing in their lives, they tend to feel that something is amiss in their life and they are not in their true elements due to it. They tend to act in a fussy manner and are often labelled as complainers as they cannot function properly without having a routine in their life. Due to such characteristics, they love to take on such jobs or tasks in which lot of detailing is required or which has a great scope for micromanagement of things and situations. Such individuals are always averse to public displays of affection and most of the times get repulsed because of that. Such individuals tend to be shy in meeting up new people. However, once they get to know them and gradually open up, they are in their own elements and strike a good rapport with them. Additionally, they are born sceptics in nature and tend to be over critical of themselves as well.

Born with the Moon in Capricorn, you are likely to be innately responsible, pragmatic and measured in the ways that you respond. Capricorn is an Earth sign, and so pertains to the tangible and practical dimensions of life. It is also known as a Cardinal sign, which implies a need to take action. When practicality and activity combine, the urge to master material resources is usually present. With the Moon in Capricorn, you are likely to have an innately serious and responsible nature, seeking to make the most of whatever resources you have at your disposal. Responsibility, and all this entails, will probably form a background theme in your life. You may have had to step into a position of responsibility early in life, or received strong impressions from your parents (most usually mother) about the need to live up to certain expectations in life. You may feel a deep sense of duty around supporting others, and will naturally be drawn to areas of life expression which allow you to demonstrate a capacity to accept responsibility. You are likely to have the ability to assist and nurture others in practical ways, and will often be seen as “the capable one” who can be relied on to find realistic solutions to current problems. The Moon is said to be in “detriment” in this sign, implying that easy and spontaneous emotional connections are not your forte. You are likely to be self-conscious in your emotional approach, and may appear reserved at first, taking time to warm to others and develop closeness. While you may have a huge heart, you do not give it away easily. You need time to get to know others and work out how you really feel about them. It is important to understand how serious or worthwhile any emotional involvement may be before you get involved. Whilst to others this may seem calculating, for you it is just a realistic assessment of the fact that emotional ties can be burdensome, and taking yourself seriously involves assessing exactly where a situation is taking you, and if that is where you want to be. Yet this pragmatism can also be a source of strength. It can give you stability and create a realistic attitude to life’s emotional ebbs and flows. On the up side, this means that for those you hold near and dear, you will be consistent, strong and true. You have an innate ability to follow through on what you say, and are likely to value greatly the worth of family, continuity and emotional commitment. On the down side however, your pragmatic approach to feelings and relationships may lead to a tendency for projecting to others a cold and unavailable nature, concerned more with the bottom line of what you will ‘get’ from a connection, rather than just being able to enjoy closeness and intimacy for what it is. The sign of Capricorn relates to foundations, structures and the gift of Time. You are likely to value tradition, status, and social position. You will require from others the same level of responsibility and capacity that you demonstrate for yourself, and will respect people or situations that demonstrate longevity and persistence. On some level, you are likely to feel most secure when you have solid structures and foundations around you. To this end you may be somewhat conservative, with strong ambitions for yourself based on recognition and accomplishment. Achievements carry powerful emotional overtones for you, and you are likely to feel an inward need to live up to being the best that you can be. You may have a need to prove yourself ‘out there’ in the world as a concrete example of your inner values, so reflecting an aptitude for responsibility and commitment. Alternately, you may have a much more private idea of what success and accomplishment mean to you. You may be less concerned with worldly success and more concerned with doing the best you can on a more personal level. You may set high standards for personal development, with a profound sense of integrity and authenticity. Whether your focus is material or spiritual, you are likely to be committed to making sure that you achieve the things that you expect of yourself. If other features of your chart imply more freedom-loving or unconventional qualities, you may be at odds with other voices within your psyche. If you find yourself struggling between the need to fulfill obligations and the need to be free just remember that your innate capacity to commit and demonstrate responsibility can be expressed in many different ways. As long as you live up to your own expectations in terms of what responsibility means to you, you will feel emotionally stable and secure. From this stable base, you can spin off into any form of expression you so choose. You are likely to be highly self-sufficient and contained, but need to remember that sometimes we build strong emotional foundations by sharing our strengths and weaknesses, talents short-comings and abilities with those around us. You are no doubt very capable, but need to be mindful of a tendency to isolate yourself upon your own mountaintop of duty and responsibility. You may have an innate tendency to expect that no one else will be as thorough as you are, and so take on far more than you need to, at times even taking from others duties that are rightfully theirs. Try not to look down upon “mere mortals’ less capable than you, but realize that your strengths and capabilities have been earned through hard work and sacrifice, yet only count for something if you can share them with someone else. In sharing responsibilities, you will achieve the position of respect and responsibility that you so naturally deserve. In letting others demonstrate capability and endurance, you help build a fertile platform upon which material stability is achievedWith the Moon placed here, you are likely to be innately concerned with how you appear publicly. You tend to be aware of the value of reputation and protocol, and so, will avoid doing anything publicly that may diminish you in the eyes of others. Because you recognize the value of a good reputation, you will strive to appear capable, contained and in-charge. Whilst this is useful in terms of earning respect, it may mean that you avoid extending yourself at times because you will not let yourself learn. You can set such high standards of achievement for yourself that you expect to be able to master whatever you attempt almost as soon as you begin. Rather than learning through a process of trial and error, you will stop yourself doing things unless you are already innately competent. It is important that you recognize the need for learning or apprenticeship along the road to mastery. Showing others your vulnerabilities will not hurt you as much as you may fear, and can in fact help them appreciate your achievements more through seeing your commitment to high standards through hard work. Finally, there may also be a need to release old, crystallized emotional patterns or unconscious fears through subconscious re-programming. Because the Moon represents the genetic or emotional framework through which we view experiences and learn about the world, there may be a tendency to ‘get stuck’ when that frame is inclined to endure and ‘hold-on’. In this sense, unconscious fears, limitations and restrictions may prevent you from opening up to an easy, spontaneous flow of emotion. Old habits and memories can prevent you from connecting with the here and now. There may be inhibitions around revealing the true extent of your feelings, and you may keep others at a distance so they never know how much you really need them. Developing empathy, the ability to self-nurture and kindness for yourself are highly recommended, This will help dissolve any old and unwanted emotional patterns, and open the door for greater vulnerability and closeness with others. You may find tactile or emotional therapies useful for you if find this hard to achieve. Because you are used to demonstrating fortitude and resilience, you may find it hard to soften and let others in. But when you share your capacity to accept responsibility and build solid foundations in life, you are rewarded with full appreciation from those who can understand the depth of your emotional commitment.

Born with the Moon in the lively, communication-oriented sign of Gemini, you are likely to be a curious individual, with an active, versatile mind. Gemini is an Air sign, governing communication, the exchange of information or ideas, and the protocols with which social organization occurs. Accordingly, you may find that you have an innate need to know as much as possible about the world around you, and may have a talent for numbers, speech or the written word. Gemini is also a Mutable sign, implying the need for variety and change. You are likely to find that you are easily engaged in new things, seek stimulation and may become easily bored. You are likely to be very adaptable, and love anything new. You may be an instinctive multi-tasker, and may habitually involve yourself in many tasks at the same time. Your need for variety means you are better when doing several things at once, but need to avoid scattering your mental energies so that very little actually gets done. The essence of this sign is communication. Unless other factors in your birth chart dominate, you are likely to enjoy sharing information with others, and may be very talkative. You may find yourself involved with lots of different people, flitting from group to group, situation to situation, in order to exchange information and ideas. Information is the foundation of your emotional wellbeing. You are likely to feel at your best when actively engaged in learning something new. For you, information is paramount, and you may not need to study something in depth to feel that you know enough about it. As long as you have glimpsed the basis of an idea or opinion, you may then feel satisfied to move on. Like the literal social butterfly, you may find yourself moving from person to person, gathering data, ideas information or facts before moving on to share what you have gained. You need to know about what is going on around you, and will enjoy imparting to others the information they may need to get through the day. Sometimes, this love of information can extend to gossip. You may have a weakness for scandals, trivia and trashy magazines! You like to know what is happening in other peoples lives. This works well for you when your love of knowledge stimulates good conversation and an interest in the world around you. When taken to extremes, a love of gossip can work against you. You may find that you inadvertently develop a reputation for being fickle, two-faced or unreliable. Others may know you cannot be trusted to keep a secret, and so will exclude you from the true details of their personal lives. Or you may attract to yourself persons who thrive on discussing the misfortunes of others. This can create a negative backlash that will ultimately bring you undone. Discretion is an important trait to develop when born with the Moon in this sign. Because you are interested in everything does not mean you have the right to spread it around! This is a very inquisitive position for the Moon. In many ways, you experience a sense of personal worth by connecting to other people, talking to them about their problems and concerns, and finding out what makes them tick. You are less likely to be concerned with deep emotional intricacies as you are with the peculiarities of their life circumstances or perspectives. Once you have ascertained where someone is coming from and why, you are likely to then feel compelled to move on to someone else, having satisfied your need to exchange information, so entering another “data file” into your catalogue of human experiences. Your interest in others is indeed genuine. You may just find you have an almost unquenchable need to know more. In essence, you will need to find a balance between your need for information, and your ability to connect with others on more than superficial terms. As the Moon is also concerned with nurturing, you may have a special ability to make others feel good with what you say. Because you know how to nurture with words, you may know the right thing to say at just the right moment to get others feeling light and bright again. Gemini is a sign known for humour and entertainment. You may instinctively know how to keep things fun. Talking around the surface of things stop them getting heavy. You are likely to have an uncanny ability to turn the conversation around when needed to the brighter side of life. You are probably very good at defining emotions. You have the ability to categorize experiences based on objective fact, but may be less comfortable actually feeling what is happening. In this sense, you may attempt to avoid deep emotional experiences, feeling more certain of yourself with rational or logical discussion where you can analyze a certain situation, classify it, and move on. In time, you will need to learn to deepen your emotional experiences, so that you can learn why certain emotions occur. Rather than detaching from emotional involvement, you may find that experiencing emotion, then adding logic, helps broaden your social repertoire. As the Moon rules the instincts, you may have instinctual talents with words and numbers. You may be good at keeping score, at accounting, or any form of commerce. You may also have a love for trade, enjoying the hustle and bustle that goes along with bartering and retail. You may have a love of gadgets, and be drawn to anything bright, shiny and new. You may be an instinctive flirt, and love flitting from one admirer to the next. This Moon position is often associated with those whose main concern is with the external world, exchanging facts, ideas and commodities without getting too consumed by the deeper, or more mysterious, dimensions of life. This is fine, as long as it does not preclude you from acknowledging that you are also an emotional being, with passionate needs that also need expression. Then your love of logic can be balanced with a well-rounded interpersonal life. At its best, Gemini is a lively and versatile sign. Born with the Moon here, you are likely to have a quick and adaptable mind. Your interest in whatever is happening around you means that you will feel an ever-present need to “know”. Once you have discovered something, you will want to share it with those around. Upon this foundation, your need for communication grows. Emotional balance comes from being connected to your immediate environment and having other people in your life. The need for variety and change is usually strong here, and you will seek multiple experiences and projects to keep you on the go. Your curiosity can be both an endless source of discovery and a good deal of personal charm. Connected with others, you can share what you have learned. Moving from situation to situation generates feelings of newness and excitement that will always give you something interesting to talk about.

When the Moon is found in Pisces, the emotions are likely to be pronounced. Pisces is the final sign of The Zodiac, and has much to do with sensitivity – to oneself, to other people, and to the mysterious, unseen forces that shape our world. With the Moon in Pisces, you are likely to be a highly impressionable individual – strongly influenced by the compassionate, creative, imaginative, romantic and idealistic aspects of life.On an instinctive level, you may have a natural affinity for the abstract or intuitive. This affinity can be a blessing, or a curse. You are likely to be able to sense the hidden or energetic levels of life, soaking up atmospheres as if you were a sponge. Your feelings about people and situations are likely to be immediate, accurate and intense. Understanding that your feelings provide valuable information, but can lead you astray sometimes, means that you will need to learn to recognize the difference between an intuitive response to something, and an emotional reaction that is based on your response to whatever is going on. Your imagination is likely to be very strong. You can find all manner of nuance in many life experiences. You are likely to respond to all manner of visual and emotional stimuli, which work to jettison you off into the many worlds of your imagination. Here you can find recreation and release. Whether you prefer to escape into a comfortable world of your own daydreams, or immerse yourself in art, anything that works to activate your imagination feels like coming home, and enables you to nurture your soul. This is a great advantage if you turn your talents to anything creative. Most often, the Piscean energy is expressed through abstract art forms, so anything around music, film, photography, dance, drama, poetry or painting may appeal. Even if you do not practice as an artist, you are likely to be strongly in tune with certain art-forms. Because this sign is highly creative, opportunity awaits those of you who find an outlet for your vivid imaginations. You may also be highly intuitive, possessing innate psychic abilities if other factors in the chart are also present. You may have had a powerful sense of knowing from an early age, experienced prophetic dreams, or perhaps grown up in an environment where the women in particular were known for their psychic or healing abilities. Understanding how your “sixth sense” operates is your natural birthright, and one you can readily develop if you give it the time and respect it deserves.Pisces is a sign of mystery, and humanity is not yet at a stage of evolution to understand all that Life has to offer. We do not understand our intuition fully, nor do we understand all the dimensions which exist within our Universe. Accordingly, you may have a natural curiousity about the subtle forces which shape our lives which is beyond what other people understand. Your instinctive awareness that there is more than just the “Here and Now” gives you an innate acceptance of things which cannot be immediately explained. This sign is one of spiritual seeking. You may have a profound and personal relationship with your own experience of The Divine. This does not mean you are religious, and you may not follow any particular faith. But you are likely to feel in touch with something greater than yourself, and in your own way seek to live that experience out. As mentioned, Pisces is a sign of great sensitivity. Your life will be directed by feeling, and by the sense perhaps of an unseen “Hand” guiding it all. Love and relationship may be an area of life where you go through many lessons. Pisces is a very romantic sign. You may have a tendency to enter relationships or new experiences with rose-coloured glasses. Putting others on a pedestal means that invariably they must “fall off”. Yet you have the capacity for a rare kind of loving, based on the unconditional acceptance of others for who they are. Sometimes you experience an exalted kind of love that will bring you an experience of true union with another. At other times, you may need to wake up to harsh realities, seeing others for who they are, and not who you would like them to be. With the Moon here you need to be in relationship with others who respect your sensitivity. For this to happen, you must first respect it in yourself. Most often, women with the Moon in Pisces have an easier time, for women are allowed to explore and develop their sensitive sides. For men, this placement can be more difficult. Many men are taught from an early age to repress their emotional lives, leading to patterns of fear and self-denial in later life where the attempt to shut down and deny their intuitive side. Sometimes men born with the Moon in Pisces fear their natural sensitivities. They react badly to the idea of anything ‘otherwordly’, as this would mean opening up to parts of themselves that have long been locked away. The sign of Pisces carries within it an innate urge to escape – to leave behind the mundane aspects of life. Accordingly, you may find you have the need to withdraw periodically from the demands of life, taking time to replenish your highly sensitive emotional system. If you do not recognize when the time to withdraw has come, you may find yourself unable to cope with the demands of life. Withdrawal or escape is an important part of the Piscean experience. Whether you do this consciously or unconsciously will be entirely up to you.A conscious manifestation of this desire to escape could involve taking time to be alone, retreating from the world for contemplation, meditation, purification and renewal. Spending time by the water, or in nature, is especially soothing. Natural environments help release the emotional and psychological influences you have absorbed from others, and process those experiences that are necessary for your growth. As Pisces is a sign of compassion, you may also experience self-renewal through acts of kindness to others, consciously offering your compassionate nature in selfless acts of service to others. The trick here will be in learning not to take on more than your fair share. Giving of your self is a natural response, but you may need to learn when enough is enough. Sometimes those born with the Moon in Pisces need to recognize boundaries, so that their generous and compassionate qualities are not taken advantage of. An unconscious manifestation of the urge to escape would be more literal. This is usually characterized by a person who seeks to escape from the demands of this world through addiction, drugs or alcohol, through becoming dependent on some kind of government or welfare system, or losing themselves by becoming the victim of someone or something. Sometimes those born with the Moon in Pisces unconsciously become sick, vulnerable or destitute. However the escape is experienced, there is often an underlying feeling of not being able to cope in the world. However it manifests, the urge to escape is almost always about seeking purification, restoration and release on an emotional level. Becoming conscious of underlying motives and needs will help greatly in understanding the complexities of such a sensitive emotional nature. Recognizing that the need to escape embodies a desire to merge oneself back with the source of “All That Is” can help set up constructive paths to become involved in life again, through which a return to consciousness can occur. Born with the Moon in Pisces, you are likely to have an innate need to find outlets for your acute sensitivity. You are likely to be drawn to the romantic, creative, compassionate, service-oriented or spiritual dimensions of life. Your natural ability to sense what is really going on is your best asset but possibly your greatest stumbling block. By learning to respect your own nature, you see clearly the people and situations that will give you the respect that you deserve. Yours is a loving heart, looking for union with another. In Love you will discover your biggest reward, and the most worthy reason to sacrifice.

Born with the Moon in Cancer, you are likely to have an innate need to nurture, support and protect. Cancer is a Water sign, and so, pertains to the emotional, psychological and spiritual dimensions of life. Your empathy for others is likely to be strong, and you will have an intuitive ability to sense what others need. Cancer is also a Cardinal sign, and so is concerned with taking action somehow. You are likely to feel a sense of responsibility that will impel you to take action where others wellbeing is concerned. This is a sign of emotional support; of deep connection to family, home, and togetherness. A sense of emotional wellbeing comes from the family and home connections that you create in your life. The Moon rules Cancer, so is in its’ own sign. This will amplify the lunar qualities of emotion, empathy and intuition. You are likely to be strongly driven by emotion, influenced by your own ever-changing moods, as well as the moods of those around you. As the Moon is cyclic in nature, waxing and waning as it orbits the Earth, you too are likely to be a cyclical being. You are more influenced by your own inner cycles and instincts than logic or routine. You can use this sensitivity to great advantage if you learn to recognize your internal rhythms. Then you will know what you need in each moment, and will naturally follow your own inner path. Moon in Cancer people often do best when they can keep to their own schedules. The ebb and flow of emotion will affect their vitality, and so the kinds of activity that suit them from day to day. You are likely to be influenced by the moods and feelings of those around you, and can be deeply affected by whatever environment you are in. It is very important for those born with the Moon here learn to take responsibility for how sensitive and emotional they are. Otherwise, you may find yourself constantly tossed around in the sea of life, soaking up other peoples emotional and psychic states with little awareness of what is happening to you and why. For emotional balance, you need to recognize the difference between what is yours and not yours. Taking on the moods of others can distract you from your own best path. You may be unable to discern between your own feelings, and attitudes, and those of the people around you, for you are extremely impressionable, and likely to be instinctively responding to how others around you feel. This is useful when it comes to nurturing and supporting. You have an almost psychic sense of what they need and when! But for your own well-being, it can be problematic if you are constantly invested in others’ needs, with little conscious awareness, of what you need yourself! Ask yourself honestly if you know what your needs are? Can you define them? Do they depend upon the relative stance of other people? Are your true needs being met? You are advised to take good care of this highly sophisticated emotional mechanism by making sure you stay centered and grounded. This can be achieved in many ways, including spending time alone in nature or by the water when you feel the need. Meditation and retreat will work wonders for you. Learning to invigorate your emotional self will be one of the smartest skills you learn in life. Your instincts are actually your best friend, and will serve you very well once you have learned to decipher between what is yours, and what is not. You must remember how readily inclined you are to soak up the atmosphere of what is going on around you, and so, stay somehow separated when involved in circumstances where it would be best for you to stay detached. This is difficult, but can be achieved through practice, and using mental imagery to affirm that you are protected and contained. Visualizing a calm and protective white or pale blue bubble around you can be very helpful. The yogic practice of pranayama (controlled breathing) is another excellent tool for keeping your psychic field clear and contained. The Moon in Cancer can be very traditional. Matters to do with home and family life tend to feature strongly. For some, there will be an overarching concern for all things concerning family life. Having your family around you will be important and you are likely to feel very responsible for your family’s wellbeing. For others, especially if the Moon is aspected by other, more independent planets, you will still be affected by family life, but may find part of your journey involves the continual struggle to emerge from the “familial soup” so to speak, and become your own person. You may have to leave behind your family of origin to find your family of choice. You may have constant change with the people in your life, but notice you somehow feel at your best when there is someone there for you to take care of. A sense of belonging comes from maintaining emotional ties. You will willingly take on the responsibility of caring for others – this a natural place for you to be. Accordingly, this is a very maternal/paternal position for The Moon, lending strong nurturing capacities. Your relationship with your own mother is likely to be especially significant, and you may have a close symbiotic bond. Sometimes, the need to nurture can be so strong that you tend to over nurture, or smother, those you care about. With the Moon here, you may have to learn to let family members live their lives in their own way. You may have to let go of the habit of becoming overly invested in your family members’ lives. On a basic level, you need to give support and nurture to those around you, without jeopardizing their independence, as well as your own. Sometime the best way to protect others is to teach them what it means to go out into the world and achieve results. Like a mother hen, you may have to let go of the urge to keep your “chick” close beneath your wings. You nurture others best when you are not attempting to over-protect them from what may be, in the end, your own worst fears. On the down side, this Moon position can also be associated with a tendency to attract persons who are so emotionally needy that the Cancer Moon person finds themselves constantly in a position of taking care of the other whilst secretly resenting the fact that their own need for nurturing and support is not being met. This unconsciously becomes the perfect “hook” for the Cancer Moon individual to become absorbed in taking care of the other’s needs, whilst failing to get their own needs met in return. Often, Cancer Moon folk find themselves in codependent situations as they attract needy people, requiring constant support and attention. Your need to nurture means you get confused around where your true responsibilities lie. This will reflect the basic premise that you are more aware of others needs than you are of your own, and so will take action for them before you will do it for yourself. Withdrawing from relationships where you play “parent” is important and will allow you to attract into your life an equal who will recognize and meet your needs in return. Ultimately, you must learn about the sensitivity and subtle, unconscious patterns inherent in this Moon position. You need to understand your emotional self without being overwhelmed by its’ demands. This can be achieved by actively seeking to nurture others whilst maintaining appropriate boundaries, by recognizing your need to be close and protective, and then asking yourself if your needs can be met. Setting up relationships where you end up being disappointed just perpetuates misplaced feelings of guilt and responsibility. You need to surround yourself with people who recognize your nurturing qualities, and can give you the same in return. On another level, Cancer relates to the domestic side of life. Your home is likely to be very important to you, and in many ways your castle as well as retreat from the world. Your home should be as calm and serene as possible. You are probably naturally attuned to home decorating, and know how to make it both comfortable and inviting. This is the sign of hospitality, and you may be a great cook, or drawn to any activity where you can take care of others needs. Bringing people into your home is a great way for you to show them that you love them. Whilst you may be emotionally sensitive in environments not familiar to you, you can be at your best when home. Every effort should be made to make your home exactly as you want it. You may change homes continually in your life, but what should remain constant is the sense of peace that comes over you when you walk through the front door. Born with the Moon in Cancer, you are likely to have a highly developed intuitive and emotional side. You are likely to have a strong empathy for others, and will feel impelled to take action in order to nurture, support and protect them. Your uncanny sense of what others need gives you the ability to stay one step ahead. You recognise the unspoken opportunity present in many situations, and can act in ways that give others what they need. This sensitivity can be also be used for your own benefit. Recognizing your own rhythms or tides means you know exactly what you need and when. Learning to acknowledge your own needs is important, and may take time. It is easier for you to sense where others are coming from than it yourself. But once this skill is learned, there is little to hold you back. Born with the Moon in Cancer, you are a natural homemaker, family person and friend. With your heightened sensitivity, you connect easily with others, and get great joy from seeing them thrive.

Pretty Little Liars
These Boots Were Made for Stalking (A Recap)
I’m just warning you now, this episode is about as eventful as the last one. Don’t let that ridiculous episode title fool you.
We pick up where we left off, with the girls all surrounding the game, upset that Spencer played. Again, it may have been easier to avoid this had they not left it alone with one person. Emily decides to be assertive and say she’s still not playing, leaving the barn. Hanna is annoyed by Emily too and says that she can’t just leave because they’re in it together; after all, they all buried that body unnecessarily. Still so stupid. Like the police were going to prosecute them for some guy running around the woods in all black and getting in the way of a car. Open and shut accident.
Aria’s main focus still centers on the uncertainty of her engagement. A reporter saw her coming out of Ezra’s apartment and asks if she can get in touch with Ezra for an interview about him being reunited with his long-lost fiancé Nicole. So naturally Aria gets offended and corrects him about being the fiancé. Let’s table Aria for a little bit because she will actually serve as the relief from everything else that happens in this episode. We’re gonna need it.
At Rosewood High, Emily and Paige talk in the locker room. Paige apologizes for saying that Emily was a victim enabler the other day; but she was actually right about it and she said it in a very fair way, so I don’t think she should apologize. I cannot believe I’m sticking up for Paige. They talk a little bit about their history and when they part ways, Emily sees that there was a student still in the locker room and she was clearly listening in. Listen, this has an upturned and bitchy for the entire episode. In case you don’t pick up on her nature from her interactions with everyone. Emily asks her why she missed practice yesterday and the girl gives this half-ass response and saunters out.
Later, Emily goes to talk to the girl in Alison’s classroom following Ali’s lesson. She says that she checked with the office and saw that the girl never went home early yesterday. Emily says that it isn’t fair to her teammates that she skipped out on practice like that and the girl’s attitude isn’t helping her case, so Emily tells her she’s off the starting lineup for the next swim meet. The girl’s response is, “You sure you wanna do that?” and she walks out. Emily and Alison immediately talk about how terrible this girl is, with Ali remarking that she’s even worse than she was when she was a teenager. And I guess I should mention that this bitchy girl is named Addison Derringer…. It’s like they’re not even trying.
Ali wonders if her child will turn out like her or Addison. For the sake of all that is good, let’s hope that the kid doesn’t and let’s not entertain the possibility of a “next generation” spinoff centered around Ali’s potentially evil child. Emily asks Ali if that means she’s keeping the baby and Ali says she still hasn’t decided. Emily comforts her by stroking her hair and giving her a hug. While Addison was outside listening to the whole thing and taking pictures with her phone.
Addison later goes to Paige, accusing Emily of being a sexual predator who was trying to penalize her for not giving into Emily’s “advances”. Paige obviously knows this is all a lie; even if she didn’t know Emily as well as she does, she was picking up on Addison’s story not being consistent for the entirety of the conversation. Addison shows her the pictures she took of Ali and Emily and says that Emily is even inappropriate with other teachers. It’s the least incriminating picture in all of existence. Paige tells her that she’ll handle it and asks Addison to forward the picture to her.
Later that day, Paige shows Emily the picture and tells her about Addison’s accusation. She wants Emily to take the night off while she handles it.
Hanna meets with Mona, who shows her what the senator’s daughter picked out to wear to her event. But Hanna freaks out and says to talk her into another dress. Mona says she’ll be back when Hanna isn’t being so neurotic. Caleb sides with Mona’s stance and says she just needs to get over whatever her issue is and give the client the dress that she wants. Hanna tells him that she made the dress while working with Claudia and Claudia gave her several suggestions that made the dress work. At this point the background music is too annoying and distracting, but I think Caleb said something along the lines of “okay, and who gives a shit about Claudia?” I’m not sure and I’m not rewatching this episode.
I guess we should see what Spencer is doing. Ah, she’s still being angsty about her birth mother. She finds out that Melissa also knew the secret. Obviously she knew Spencer, she would have remembered her mom being pregnant. She wonders why Melissa “put on a show” about finding out about Jason since she knew of her father’s infidelity before (regarding herself). Gee, Spencer, maybe it has something to do with finding out that she was dating her half-brother that made Melissa react like that. This is supposed to be the smart one?
I really wish we could skip Spencer, but she’s the one connected to the police storyline the most. She called Detective Marco and asks him if he would consider finding Mary a top priority. He doesn’t actually answer, but I would assume that Mary already was a priority considering how she’s connected to this entire situation. One could even argue that a great deal of this is Mary’s fault.
Spencer later meets with Marco at the police station to talk further about the case. Should he even be giving her this much information about an ongoing investigation? They’re interrupted by Jenna coming in, ready to make a statement. Marco tells her they aren’t alone and she says “I know. I can hear her breathing. Hello Spencer.” Let’s just, acknowledge the obvious about how she clearly would not be able to identify someone on their breathing.
Jenna says that she was working with Noel for money that he said Charlotte left for her to get eye surgery. But the “truth” is that Noel was broke and was going to take all the money and kill her like he did with Sara Harvey (I hope that’s the last we hear of her.) Jenna said she played along and had the gun as self-protection…despite not having eye sight. Incredibly for Spencer’s current behavior, she can tell that this is all a total lie.
And after all of that, I bet you welcome hearing about Aria. Aria is at the wedding planning place, talking to Holden. He’s swamped because a bride changed her mind at the last moment; change your mind as much as you want, but he better be making some serious extra cash for that. Aria helps him and he notices her taking off her ring and he asks how things are with Ezra. And really, Aria’s storyline is worth this: He lets her vent and he brings something about how everyone has history and how people can change and he says, “I mean, I’m not the same person I was in high school. Are you?” And it’s hilarious because yes, yes she is; they all are. I mean, just look at Ali and Emily having a meaningful conversation in front of an open door. None of these people have grown in five years. Zero progression. We needed that.
Hanna called up Emily to see if she heard anything different and Emily points out how stupid that is and how she knows as much as Hanna does. If she knew more she would say it. This is just important because she sees Jenna with two other (presumably) blind people and she sees Jenna saying “send” into her phone and moments later sees and hears Addison getting a notification for a new message.
We nee to revisit Spencer for a minute. Her mom tells her that she’s selling the house and they want to sever ties with the town as soon as possible. Spencer is like, “Okay, whatever, it’s just a house.” And that’s usually the response people want right? So that it’s not too difficult for the people leaving? But instead her mom launches into a huge monologue about how it’s not just a house, it’s their family and memories, and whatever other cliché things people say on TV shows. So like, does she want her to be upset? May as well add another thing you’ll never hear the end of.
Hanna and Mona are at The Radley when they see Jenna walk in wearing Hanna’s dress design in white. And to add insult to injury, it looks better in white. Mona storms over there demanding answers, but Jenna says it was a gift and blows her off. Hanna tells Mona it’s all a part of the game and she leaves too.
Hanna and Caleb follow Jenna. It looks like she’s going to the shoemaker where Hanna’s shoes that are going to go with the dress are being repaired. Jenna’s (presumably) blind friends go inside, while Jenna is outside. Caleb decides to confront her. When he walks up, Jenna smells (?!) him and asks if it’s Hanna. May have worked, but he spoke first to get her attention and I feel like she would recognize Caleb’s voice before Hanna’s smell. Hanna goes inside while they talk about nothing of importance.
The shoe repair shop is empty and dark. And not that large of a space; you could walk a few steps in and see the entirety of it. Somehow this does not stop Hanna from walking around, looking for the shoemaker, and getting locked in a cage where some of the shoes are. She flashes back to her torturing and huddles in a corner on the ground. She gets a text from AD telling her to wait her turn. Caleb finds her and gets her out. See! They haven’t learned anything!
Still at the wedding planning facility, Aria gets a news alert – it’s a full article about Ezra and Nicole being reunited. She says she has to leave and when she goes to put up her apron she sets her phone on the counter, with the article still on the screen. Holden sees it.
Aria goes to New York and talks a nurse into letting her in to see her “friend” Nicole so she can “drop off some salt water taffy.” She’s about to go in when she hears Holden yelling out, “Don’t do it Aria!” Very dramatic reaction that makes it seem like Aria was going to kill the woman or something. I think she was just going there to set the record straight about her and Ezra being engaged. Still a bad idea, but not one meriting that response.
So, Aria never goes in and she and Holden get some pizza. He gives her similar advice to what Hanna said last episode: just relax and continue going about each day until she and Ezra can talk further. He also points out that Ezra is probably feeling even more turmoil than she is. She thanks him and rests her head on her shoulder. I still do not remember Holden or why he’s significant, but please don’t love triangle this.
Emily wants Ali to give her the key to Spencer’s barn since Spencer left with her mom for the afternoon. Emily wants to play the game because she’s afraid AD is trying to get to her through Addison. She even thinks Addison could be a pawn of Jenna’s. Ali agrees to give her the key and goes with her.
When Alison and Emily play the game, they see a surveillance video of Addison and her boyfriend in a car outside of the coffee shop, sharing a bong. Emily’s solution is to confront Addison about how she’s a terrible person and a bully and she won’t get away with it. Problem is Emily is yelling and has completely lost her cool. Thankfully Paige is there; never thought I would say that either. Addison tries taunting Emily about how she’s gonna need a lawyer and Paige tells her that they have a copy of the email she sent to her friend gloating about her plan to get Emily fired; she says that the principal and Addison’s parents have seen it and they’re waiting for her in the principal’s office. Imagine that; someone said they would handle it and they actually did. And someone is actually getting consequences for their actions!
When Emily is leaving she gets an AD text saying “Embrace your dark side. I had to.” If that’s all her “dark side” is then that won’t be a difficult venture. All she did was yell at an irritating teenage; people want to do that every day. Emily also sees that she has mail in her teacher mailbox. It’s another puzzle piece.
Everyone gets together at the end of the episode and add Emily’s puzzle piece. Spencer deduces that it’s a map. I guess that’s the plot progression? We’re gonna painstakingly get like 6 more pieces until they get a full a map and then they finally “discover” something?
