Miraculous Signs for Pharaoh
1 Then Moses answered and said, “But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you.’ ”
2 So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?”
He said, “A rod.”
3 And He said, “Cast it on the ground.” So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it. 4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail” (and he reached out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand), 5 “that they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”
6 Furthermore the Lord said to him, “Now put your hand in your bosom.” And he put his hand in his bosom, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, like snow. 7 And He said, “Put your hand in your bosom again.” So he put his hand in his bosom again, and drew it out of his bosom, and behold, it was restored like his other flesh. 8 “Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the first sign, that they may believe the message of the latter sign. 9 And it shall be, if they do not believe even these two signs, or listen to your voice, that you shall take water from the river and pour it on the dry land. The water which you take from the river will become blood on the dry land.”
10 Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”
11 So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? 12 Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”
13 But he said, “O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.”
14 So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and He said: “Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. 15 Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do. 16 So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God. 17 And you shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.”
Moses Goes to Egypt
18 So Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please let me go and return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.”
And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”
19 Now the Lord said to Moses in Midian, “Go, return to Egypt; for all the men who sought your life are dead.” 20 Then Moses took his wife and his sons and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
21 And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go. 22 Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Israel is My son, My firstborn. 23 So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed I will kill your son, your firstborn.” ’ ”
24 And it came to pass on the way, at the encampment, that the Lord met him and sought to kill him. 25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone and cut off the foreskin of her son and cast it at Moses’ feet, and said, “Surely you are a husband of blood to me!” 26 So He let him go. Then she said, “You are a husband of blood!”—because of the circumcision.
27 And the Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he went and met him on the mountain of God, and kissed him. 28 So Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him. 29 Then Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel. 30 And Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. Then he did the signs in the sight of the people. 31 So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped. — Exodus 4 | New King James Version (NKJV) New King James Version®. Reframe the Situation (Exodus 4:1-9)
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. Victor Frankl
But Moses protested again, “What if they won’t believe me or listen to me? What if they say, ‘The Lord never appeared to you’?” Then the Lord asked him, “What is that in your hand?” “A shepherd’s staff,” Moses replied. “Throw it down on the ground,” the Lord told him. So Moses threw down the staff, and it turned into a snake! Moses jumped back. Then the Lord told him, “Reach out and grab its…

28th Deuteronomy 32:4
Exodus 3:1-15 Exodus 4:1 - 7 Exodus 4:10 - 17
It's not about me. Moses had excuses God is graciously faithful to His people. He is steadfast in His favour He is able to use us in His favour despite our shortcomings. It is all about Him. Five excuses vs 3:11 Who am I? Moses said that he wasn't ready.
The first fourty years of his life were spent at Pharaoh's court.
The Burning Bush. God is self sufficient 2 Corinthians 4:7 - 11 God's ability is what we should focus on. Not on our own insecurities. We're nothing. He is everything. All passages of Scripture point to the Cross. Everyone in Scripture is there for God's glory. Who am I? Irrelevent! Who is He? Excuse 2 vs 4:1 Not qualified. The Israelites Miracles provoke a reaction. They don't bring belief. That requires the presence of God. Genesis 1:3 2 Corinthians 4:6 He is qualified!
Excuse 3 vs 4:10 Ability 4:12 - 14 Our ability to anything of value is dependent on God. It is through Him.
Proverbs 16:9
Excuse 4 vs 14:13 Send someone else.
Moses is very reluctant Philippians 4:19, 20
Excuse 5 vs 3:13 - 15 God is the I AM. Present Tense. He is the Unchanging God. The same Today, Yesterday and Forever.

The High Cost of Commitment
24 At a lodging place on the way the Lord met him and sought to put him to death. 25 Then Zipporah took a flint and cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it and said, “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me!” 26 So he let him alone. It was then that she said, “A bridegroom of blood,” because of the circumcision. 27 The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet…

Daily Devotional: Exodus 4:19-23
God sends Moses and his family to Egypt after those who were seeking to kill Moses have died. Moses takes his family. God commands Moses to show Pharaoh all the signs that God showed Moses. He also reveals that Pharaoh will not let the people go. In fact, God reveals that He will be the one hardening Pharaoh’s heart so that Pharaoh will not let the people go. From this text, we do not know…

So you know how one of the fandom's biggest complaints is that SAINW was never really acknowledged outside Donny's (extremely heartwarming) hug with Raph and Mikey when they reunite during the Ultimate Drako arc finale?
A while back, I was digging around on Peter Laird's blog, and on a post concerning drafts for the scripts of various Ninja Tribunal episodes... well..
Lloyd, Here are my comments on the Ep. 112 final. 1.) Re: the following: "**RAPHAEL Yeah, that was my dream.  There were all these funny lines.  And then, she was at the mercy of the Shredder! ON DONNY, cautiously adding to the narrative. ***DONATELLO I saw that, too! And then New York was transformed into a horror show … like an alternate universe … but worse." It's nice that my suggestion to have Don compare his nightmare to his experience in the Shredder-ruled alternate universe he was sent to in "Same As It Never Was" was considered, but the way it is rendered here misses the point. My idea was not that Don compare this nightmare to just "... AN alternate universe", but to THE alternate universe he was sent to. Here, his comparison of his nightmare to an alternate universe just seems weird and pointless. Here's a suggestion: "DONATELLO I saw that, too! And then New York was transformed into a horror show … sort of like that alternate universe that Ultimate Draco blasted me into… but worse. (Don pauses, shivers.) If that's possible..."

people always talk about their types throughout the DA games and how telling it is of them. always choosing the mages or the elves, things like that.
I chose Alistair after his joke about wearing a dress. I was locked in. I was also playing a F!Amell and very upset when I realized I couldn't pursue Morrigan, but otherwise locked in.
I chose Fenris after multiple rejections and, tbh, I really liked his voice and I already have a thing for guys with white hair. There's a post about it somewhere deep in my feed. So yeah. Locked. In.
Haven't played DAI yet but I know I'm def going for Cullen and Solas (in that order). I reblog a lot of Solas content, and that's entirely because of dreadwolf lore and my love for tragic romances, but Cullen has been marked as my target since I reviewed the romancable characters list (I like to know my options, sue me). Cullen > Solas, sorry not sorry.
I reviewed the most recent companions for DATV and DAVRIN?? might just start barking and have hearts jump out of my eyes.
Anyways, after reviewing my list of love interests (potential and committed) throughout the games, I realized what my type was.
Warriors.
Alistair, Fenris, Cullen, Davrin. All warrior classes.
and what's my preferred class to play without fail? mage.
I'm apparently really into the Mage x Warrior trope, specifically when paired with someone you wouldn't expect to fall for a mage. Alistair is an ex-templar. Fenris is anti-mage due to his experience living in Tevintar. Cullen is a templar and went through a pretty hardcore anti-mage phase. However, Davrin, the charming grey warden and monster hunter? Yeeeeeeeeah, I'm very excited to learn more about his character.

Exodus 3:1-4, 17 (NLT). [1] “One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God. [2] There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up. [3] “This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.” [4] When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” “Here I am!” Moses replied. [17] I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey—the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”
“Moses: The rebel with a poor self-image” By Our Daily Bread:
"I'm just not enough." It's so easy to look at ourselves in the mirror and think something along these lines. There's so much we wish we could change, from how we look to how we think-to the visible and invisible limitations and challenges we live with.
Moses wished he could change things too. He may have grown up an Egyptian prince, but he knew he was one of God's chosen people-a people currently living as ill-treated slaves. His first attempt to free them was disastrous. Many years later, God invited Moses to be part of His rescue mission. Moses was sure he wasn't the man for the job.
"Who am I?" Moses asked, looking at himself. "No one's going to listen to me. I can't even speak properly." With every excuse Moses came up with, he was saying, "I can't."
God didn't try to boost Moses' ego or teach him to look at himself in a new light. "I am," God replied, drawing Moses' attention back to the Lord. "I will be with you. I made you just as I intended; I will help you speak." With every reply, God was saying, "But I can!"
When we're tempted to put ourselves down and say, "I can't," we can learn from Moses to listen for God's, "But I can." That's when we can look in the mirror and say, "God is enough for me today."

Exodus 4:10-13
But Moses said to the Lord, Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue. Then the Lord said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak. But he said, Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.
Tumblr media
Sometimes it can be a little dawning or frightening to walk the path you know the Lord is trying to lead you down. Just remember that even if your voice shakes or if you feel like someone else would be better equipped for it, you were the one who was chosen to do whatever the Lord has been laying on your heart and mind, your imperfections or just perfection to him. Remember, he made you the way you are for a reason, and he placed you in this battle because he knows you can face it. Any worries you have are nothing. He can’t wash away.
So be like Moses and take the leap of faith.

Tell me more of Andy? Jimmi wants to bug them.
Tumblr media
Andy grew up in a vault and studied to become a doctor within said vault. When he found out the vault experiment involved dosing certain individuals with unsafe cultures grown in the lab, he quietly replaced all cultures with saline. He was however eventually found out and banished from the vault in the middle of the night with nothing but the clothes on his back and Pip-Boy on his wrist.
In general he's fairly quiet and reserved. That isn't to say he doesn't like talking. He does, but it's rare he gets to talk to people that don't flat out annoy him. So he just won't talk if he isn't interested. If he has to talk when he doesn't want to he is pretty prickly.
His weapon of choice is a ripper— though he is mostly a pacifist and will disengage rather than fight if the conflict only involves someone bothering him. Bothering people he cares about is a different story. That ripper adds a very personal touch to the actions of someone that can be extremely vengeful.
You can find him at his clinic where he is doing his best to help patients with whatever ails them, even if his bedside manner is rotten. In his free time he studies infectious disease because he's a fucking nerd.

Hey guys, round of applause for the Warmind, huh? If Neomuna stemmed from Exodus Indigo that puts Rasputin at 2 out of 5 Exodus ships that successfully established human colonies that survived the Collapse, preserved Golden Age culture and tech, and came back to help, and you know what? a 40% win rate against the Witness is way better than literally anyone else has managed.

Daily Devotional: Exodus 4:14-18
Daily Devotional: Exodus 4:14-18
God’s anger burns against Moses because Moses tried to excuse himself from doing what God was calling him to do in Egypt. Moses claimed to be slow of speech and tongue. As if Moses should have already known, God asks, “Is there not your brother, Aaron?” Thus, Aaron will speak for Moses. The fact of the matter is, no man can do the work of God. God is bigger, stronger, and much more capable than…
