Yknow I’m actually pretty sad that pikmin got the short end of the stick in smash bros. The only fighters are olimar and alph as an echo (ik there aren’t many characters (well, before p4 at least) but come on, what about Louie, Brittany, Charlie, heck the president even) and they get done so dirty. I spent my time up until actually playing pikmin that Olimar and by extension Alph were silent, personality-less protagonists but??? No??? They talk alright, they talk quite a bit. And there are SO MANY creatures in pikmin but the only assist trophy is a burrowing snagret? I dunno man. I’m petty because I played a lot of ssbu back in 2019-2020ish and I probably would’ve been more knowledgeable about pikmin before now if they had given it more attention
