I Wanna talk about today's LAES episode!
Tumblr media
Okay, I loved this episode and am pleasantly surprised by how mature most of them handled this, especially Lunar and Moon. Lunar knows he messed up, and he really has no excuse for what he did. He made a dumb mistake with MAJOR repercussions. He takes his punishment like a man and accepts it won't be easy to earn everyone's forgiveness, and it's up to Earth if she wants to forgive Lunar or not and that's fair.
Monty and Moon are rightly mad at Lunar, and while I think Monty shouldn't threaten to punch Lunar, it's entirely fair. That's just who Monty is. He's an angry guy and doesn't like it when people hurt people he cares about, so while he shouldn't have threatened Lunar, it is to be expected. Monty loves Earth. She's one of the best things that ever happened to him, and he adores her and hates seeing her get hurt and betrayed... again. While yes, it was an accident, it was a very poorly and badly timed accident.
We don't know if Earth is gonna be okay.
-Best case scenarios
They get all the negative star power out of her and she's back to her old self again
Or she's fine, but she just feels numb like Monty's arm did for like five months.
-WORST case scenario
She dies.
Monty has all the right in the world to be mad. Everyone here does. Lunar could have killed Earth! Or hurt Moon, or Jack, or Dazzle. They have all right to be mad!
I'm glad all of them still care for Lunar and still see him as a brother and don't want anything bad to happen to him. I'm proud of Moon despite the fact that he was very hurt by Lunar's words he still loves him. If this had been how OLD old Moon he would have torn Lunar to shreds verbally... and then maybe physically.
I'm proud he's grown from his angry past.
Sun and Solar seem the most sad to kick Lunar out, but they understand his actions NEED to have consequences.
I've seen some people say that it's not fair for them to kick out Lunar and say he's dangerous...
Guys... HE IS. Lunar is basically a walking BOMB!
Yes, Monty has access to dangerous weapons, and so does Solar and Moon... but they keep those away from Earth in places she won't find them or get hurt by them.
Sun has magic.... he can control it.
(when he's not having a nightmare)
While everyone in that room is dangerous, they're all careful. Lunar wasn't.
So, now he has to face the consequences. It's sad to see Lunar be separated from his family and still have no idea who he is or what he's supposed to be... but who knows, maybe this is what Lunar needs. Plus, if Lunar doesn't want to stay in THIS universe, I can think of one universe that could be a big help to him...
*Cough! Eclipse and Puppet's! Cough!*
This could be the first step in the right direction.
I get why people are upset at the Celestial family and Monty for kicking out Lunar... BUT I can't argue that they didn't do anything wrong. I think the Celestial did the right thing.
Actions have consequences both GOOD and BAD.
Also... does anyone else think Lunar's apartment reminds them of Peter Parker's from the Tobey Maguire Spider-man movies and Spider-man No way home. It just gives me that vibe.
Also... I feel SO BAD for Earth!
The girl has been betrayed by
-Her father
-Her brother (Nexus)
-Monty for not telling Earth about his crimes (They worked that out)
-And now Lunar!
Girl probably gonna have trust issues after this.

➸ genres: Sailor Moon!AU, fluff, sort of e2l
➸ tags: sly friends, petty enemies/secret crushes, running away from the mortifying ordeal of being known
➸ words: 2K+
➸ summary: The day you find out who your suave partner in saving the world is, you're absolutely, positively, without a doubt sure you'll be over the moon. You'll be so happy you'll think you're dreaming. Turns out you're right. You do think you're dreaming. Because this? This can't be real. You're being pranked. Someone, somewhere, is going to jump out and say you're on Candid Camera. (Please.)
>> PART 2
When the lights fade and the facades fall, this is what you’re left with: Tuxedo Mask without a mask, you without your moonlit glamor. Tux the civilian is handsome, you can tell, and this is it—the moment you’ve been waiting for.
He lifts his face.
The youma's words come rushing back: Let the truth be known, the city’s deepest secrets shown.
Tuxedo Mask is none other than Kim Seokjin.
Suddenly, you’re reminded of a crystalline city; people bowing before you; Seokjin taking your hand, your matching rings gleaming in the light. Was it a memory or a dream?
You stand there, dumbfounded, until Tux/Seokjin dons his mask and brushes past. “Come on, Sailor Moon,” he says, sensible enough to use your alias. “The coast is clear. We’ve got a fight to finish.”
“Why does it have to be Seokjin?" You whine, collapsing into bed and disturbing your sleeping cat. (In your defense, he was on your pillow. Which you’ve told him numerous times not to lay down on because his fur would shed.) Luckily, Agust is acquainted with your dramatic side and simply gets up to move.
“Well, why do you have to be Sailor Moon?” He points out. “It could have been someone less bothersome.”
“Hey,” you retaliate. “You’re the one who came to me. You could have given anyone the Lunar Key.”
“I didn't have a choice.”
“What do you mean you didn’t? You could have walked away and picked someone better, just like that.”
He scoffs. “Not when it’s the Queen.”
“Queen-schmeen." You flop back onto your bed, the springs creaking in protest. "I bet Her Royal Highness is on her throne right now, all nice and comfy. She couldn't care less."
Agust doesn't reply.
At first, you think it's because you've won and nothing else can be said, but when the silence stretches on, you know something is off. You sit up to see Agust no longer curled into himself, but sitting. He stares out your window into the night, his normally keen eyes empty. "She's dead."
Judging by his somber tone, she'd meant a lot to him. "I'm sorry," you whisper.
Agust sighs. "No need to apologize, kid. She was your mother, after all."
"My mother?"
"Not now," he amends. "But she was a long time ago, when you were the princess of the moon and Seokjin the prince of the earth.”
The next morning, you head to school on time.
Your mom—present day mom—was surprised to see you up early, and Jeongguk called you out like the bratty brother he was (wow, no morning run today?), but the truth was you couldn’t sleep.
Last night, Agust recounted your past, how the dark eclipsed the moon. Although the queen tried her best to protect the kingdom, it was to no avail. Seokjin died in the fray, and you fell shortly after, helpless to save your beloved. In the end, the queen sacrificed herself to give you and Seokjin another chance at love, her people another chance at happiness.
A chance to rebuild the Silver Millennium.
The thing was, you didn’t know if that was what you wanted. Not that you’d want the Dark Kingdom to reign, but you weren’t sure whether you wanted to rule in your mother’s stead. Or marry Seokjin. Past you might have wanted to, but the you now could barely stand him. And neither could he. Or so you thought. You’d gotten along just fine with Tuxedo Mask, even grown a crush, but that wasn’t enough to warrant a marriage.
“Hello? Veen to Selene*?” Someone nudges your shoulder, and with a start, you notice Mina looking at you in concern.
“Sorry, what did you say?”
“Nothing yet, but it looks like you’ve got something on your mind. What’s up?”
You’re about to tell her when you see Seokjin approaching, his uniform blazer neatly pressed.
“Morning, ______,” Seokjin says. “Mina.”
“Morning,” you reply, ready for whatever biting remark he’d say next. But once Namjoon comes up, he leaves. That's it.
Even Mina, who hardly sees the two of you interact, notices. "That's the first time I've seen you guys polite. It's weird. What happened?"
After a discreet look around, you grab her by the elbow. “He's Tux,” you hiss, but Mina doesn’t look the least bit shocked. Her face breaks out into a giddy grin, like a child who’s finally tall enough to get on the big kid ride.
“You knew?” You ask, a little hurt she didn’t tell you.
She pouts, squishing your cheeks together. “Don’t be mad. You don't know how hard it was to keep it a secret.”
You don't blame Mina, for the most part. It would have been better if you hadn’t known who Tuxedo Mask was, and vice versa. You felt like Cinderella running away from the ball, her beautiful dress giving way to rags and ratty shoes. If the prince caught up to her then, she’d probably be humiliated.
Just like you are now.
Tuxedo Mask has seen you at your most embarrassing moments, fighting to have the last word (or milkshake) as Seokjin, and also at your best, saving civilians with grace. You've only wanted him to see the best of you, for him to think of you as the perfect wonder-girl heroine everyone else saw you as, but he's seen almost every side. You don't know what he sees in you now, if anything. And frankly, you don't want to know.
"Have you ever thought that maybe he's thinking what you're thinking?" Mina asks. "You've seen all the good and bad in him, too."
"But it's different when he doesn't have a crush on Sailor Moon!" You say, exasperated.
"Oh, I wouldn’t be sure about that if I were you."
Seokjin thinking of your alter ego that way is embarrassing, but considering he's also Tuxedo Mask...now your face is red, you can feel it. Red as roses in bloom. "You're joking, right?"
"Why don't you wait and see," Mina replies, as cryptically as when she was Sailor V and you hadn't known any better. Having sympathy for you, she gives you a warm smile. "Don't stress out too much, Moon. You're amazing either way. Just talk to him."
You think there's some reconnaissance to sort out first. When you walked into Crown Arcade and saw Seokjin talking to Jimin pretty intently, you didn’t want to interrupt...okay, who were you kidding? You chickened out.
But Jimin is his best friend, so he'll know how Seokjin feels the most, right? It's the next best alternative to actually speaking to Seokjin, which, well, you aren't ready for. Case in point: you've done the impossible and made yourself scarce. You aren’t about to break your streak now.
So the instant Seokjin leaves, you walk up to the counter. Jimin looks up from sprinkling a milkshake. "Hey. The usual?"
"Yeah, just double on the chocolate."
"You got it," he says, passing the drinks he finished making to a server. You watch him blend milk into ice cream, then reach over for a new cup to pour the mixture into later. It's all done with practiced ease, and you marvel at how quick he is, not to mention how beautiful the finished milkshake looks after. The chocolate is perfect, the whipped cream a cloud of snow drizzled with dark syrup.
Jimin slides it over with a grin. "Mademoiselle."
"Why, thank you," you say, digging in with gusto. This is exactly what "stressed is desserts spelled backwards," meant: Jimin's milkshakes never fail to kick your worries down a notch.
"Good?" He asks.
"Mhm," you mumble, more to your milkshake than to him, when the thought that you haven't paid yet crosses your mind. Oh gosh. You pull your purse onto your lap, but Jimin chuckles, stopping you.
"I've got it covered. Besides, I heard you weren't yourself lately."
"Really?"
He shrugs. "From the way you're devouring that, it's kind of hard to believe…"
You take an extra large mouthful to prove his point.
"But you only lay on the chocolate when you're bummed," he finishes, and you’d protest if you hadn’t made it a habit to drown your sorrows in his milkshakes. They were just too good to resist. Not to mention Jimin is a great listener. Your girls, although you love them, aren't always the best. You'd catch the moment they crossed over from attentive to "Is she done yet?" but with Jimin, you've never had that issue. Turns out you have a different one.
"I hate how perceptive you are."
He laughs. "You're just predictable."
"You know what? You can take back your milkshake and go back to work," you say in a fit of grumpiness, pushing the glass back to him.
"Are you sure you want me to do that?"
You meet him eye to eye. After a minute—a long, impressive minute might you add—you take it back. "Fine. What do you want to hear?"
"Anything you want to tell me. And if it's something you can't share, please tell someone you can. It's not great to keep things bottled up, trust me."
You sigh.
"Here's the deal," you begin, feeling a little weird telling your old crush about your new one, but marching through nevertheless, "I met someone on...online. He's nice and funny and understands me even though he's different. I just click with him, and eventually, I want to tell him I like him. The thing is, I don't really know who he is. We've been chatting on Discord and his profile picture is Tuxedo Mask, but he can't be Tuxedo Mask. Or maybe he is, who knows?"
Jimin laughs. If only he knew.
"Anywho," you continue, "I meet him and find out he's someone I actually know...but he's a pest. He always gets on my nerves and it's like he's a completely different person! I don't even know how that's possible, but apparently it is and it's just so frustrating."
Jimin doesn't speak for a while, which is fine by you. You take the time to jam spoonfuls of chocolate and cream into your mouth.
"You know," he finally says, amused, "that sounds a little like the plot to You've Got Mail."
"That isn't funny.” You huff. “Joe Fox was a jerk and I don't know why they played him off as charming."
"Isn't that what you think of the guy?"
"I never said he was a jerk."
"But you said he was a pest."
"That isn't the s—" You pull at your hair. "Ugh. I don't know anymore."
"Did you talk to him?"
"And what? Spill my complicated feelings?"
"No, just talk to him. You don't have to confess right now. Just air out the laundry and see where you guys are at. Chances are, if you're confused, then he's confused, too, and there's no way either of you can get out of it without talking to each other."
"I can't talk to him, Jimin. I avoided him for three weeks! He's going to hate me."
"He isn't," Jimin says firmly, and you wish you could have the same conviction. "Sure, he'll be upset, but if he's really someone who cares, he'll listen. Look, during that time you avoided him, did he try to reach out?"
"Well, I told him I didn't want to talk and he stopped asking."
"So he'll listen. If it turns out he hates you, give him a piece of your mind and I'll give you triple chocolate milkshakes on the house."
When he puts it like that, talking to Seokjin doesn't seem as dreadful. "You're not just saying that?"
"Have I ever said something I didn't mean?"
You get your answer when someone comes trudging in, holding up a bag from your go-to fast food joint. "Jimin! You better be grateful I drove all the way downtown to get you these burgers. Since when did you like ______'s favorite, anyways?"
"Since now," your traitor of a friend says. You glare at him, which he conveniently ignores.
"You're the best," he tells a surprised Seokjin, leaving with a pat on his shoulder. "Enjoy your meal!"

Young Adult Fantasy/Dystopia
This is probably the most successful genre of YA fiction. If there’s a dark-haired, brooding asshole male love interest, you know everyone’s gonna be all over it. There won’t be any Sarah J. Maas, Leigh Bardugo, or Cassandra Clare on here but maybe one day I’ll commit myself to their books (but it likely won’t happen anytime soon).
**Personal Favorites
Penryn & the End of Days Trilogy** by Susan Ee: This is my all time favorite Dystopian Fantasy trilogy ever. It is so underrated and I literally love it so much. Like if there’s one series on this list I want everyone to read it’s this one. Post apocalyptic world where angels descended to demolish the world and the main character makes a deal with a wingless fallen angel to go on a journey to save her sister and get back his wings. The yearning is A1 in this, and also Penryn is Asian and can kick ass.
The Blood of Stars Series** by Elizabeth Lim: Project Runway meets Mulan was the tagline and that convinced me so fast. It’s one of the more promising new series and it does a good job building a fictional Asian country. The author used to write Sailor Moon fanfic and that’s how I knew this was my type of book.
To Kill a Kingdom** by Alexandra Christo: Probably one of the best fantasy standalone books I’ve read (because almost all fantasy books are series). She’s a siren. He’s a siren killer. That’s a recipe for disaster and also one of the best enemies to lovers stories. It’s basically a better and more elevated Little Mermaid.
The Poppy War Trilogy by R.F. Kuang: I’ll admit that I haven’t actually read this yet but I KNOW it’s good. It’s just a big commitment with the length and the heartache that I know will come because this is not a happy story. It’s about war and politics and scheming and betrayal and it’s really dark. I need to read it, but I keep putting it off because I know it’ll take an emotional toll. This is not for the faint of heart, and it’s on this list cause it does have some fantastical elements like magic and dragons.
The Folk of the Air Trilogy** by Holly Black: Okay everyone that reads YA Fantasy has probably read this, so I won’t say too much. It’s one of the best enemies to lovers series I’ve read and it’s fascinating to read about an anti-heroine on the quest for power taking advantage of a useless prince. Both characters are hella compelling and I love how no one is truly good in this series because everyone has their own agenda.
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer: Futuristic retellings of classic fairy tales with badass diverse characters taking the stage with amazing world building. If you haven’t read it yet, check it out.
Flame in the Mist Duology by Renee Ahdieh: Set in feudal Japan with Japanese mythology, samurai, crossdressing female warriors, secrets, lies AND just the right amount of sexiness. The sexual tension was to die for and for something that could be done so tackily, it really did portray the Japanese elements in a tasteful way that made sense to the story and weren’t just used for plot devices.
Warcross Duology by Marie Lu: Okay the male lead is hella morally gray and you definitely feel conflicted about him (without saying too much) but damn he’s hot. People complained about that big old plot twist but to be honest, I wasn’t that mad. Anyways the whole world basically plays this one AR video game and the female lead is a genius hacker that’s hired to find the glitch in the code of the game by competing in the big tournament. Super cool premise and diverse representation.
Red Queen Series by Victoria Aveyard: Regardless of what other people say, I really did enjoy this series. I liked Cal and Maven but Maven’s hella fucked up and Cal may be a little bratty but I was team Cal all the way. Maven is a fascinating character though. Mare’s pretty cool, too. Anyways, I would pick this over the Hunger Games (partly because Mockingjay was the biggest let down ever) if you like dystopia. People might think it’s overrated but I love flawed characters that gotta choose between love and power and obsession and peace.
Caraval Trilogy by Stephanie Garber: This one’s pretty decent if you’re looking for a carnival/circusy-y/magic themed fantasy book. It wasn’t a waste of time and while a lot of the characters did get annoying, I got so intrigued by the Prince of Hearts (Jacks) that I had to finish it. Jacks deserved so much better, and he could have had the greatest arc but the author butchered it. Definitely a what could have been series. There are better books on this list but I just wanted to shoutout Jacks.
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin: There’s A LOT of controversy around this book because of 1) the explicit sex scene that’s basically smut and 2) the characterizations and world building. I’m okay with the sex but I did agree that the dialogue was kinda ridiculous and there were a lot of problematic viewpoints. ANYWAYS, that won’t stop me from reading the second book probably. It’s not good but also I wanna know what happens. There are better books on this list.

A bit of self-driven character development!
(So originally this was just going to be a set of the icons for the Fantasy Character Development meme for like....Heca or something, but my brain wanted to expand on Vallite’s origin world, so this might get long!
And by that I mean I got the urge to make HCs related to Vallite and Kaga for some reason. BUT might as well do two sets! Before a line under the cut will be Heca’s set, below that line will be the set for the other two. Trust me, it will be a noticeable line.
Why a line under a cut? This will get long even with one set, trust me.)
(Heca’s set; only she is speaking here.)
Does your character possess magic? How do they feel about it even if they don’t have it?
“Of course I do; I’m a goddess of magic in a way......Personally, I know why most don’t rely on it, but simple magic is a boon that many people can create. Making simple spells can work better than just simple prayer; though many simple spells might require praying to a god or spirit for it to work.”
“And then of course, magic like what is seen here? That’s something you got to train and hone; even if something gives you the power to start practicing without you being born with it, you gotta train it!”
How does your character feel about Non-Human intelligent races? If they are one how are they treated?
“..........I lived in a place surrounded by mostly demons and hell-born fey. And I’m not human myself. To say that I respect non-humans would be an understatement....I have lived among them for years, I could never change how I treat someone based solely on what species they are.”
“..................I may have seen ‘lesser’ demons and the native fey as little more than pawns in the past though. Though getting my body that belongs to the lunar Hell almost killed by a ‘lesser’ demon who reawakened his kind’s draconic side was quite the lesson....And that’s fine; after all, Hell natives are ranked by merit, I should of known better. Though the demons still tend to favor the ones that considered naturally stronger over the more cunning ‘lessers’. Unless it’s Therai’s kind, since the specific type are kind of a myth now, since they all went missing after Therai himself was sealed away....Same with the few remaining Lampads; the Hell Fairies are still in all the Hells, but the Lampads all left like those draconic demons........Wonder if they gathered together; Therai did lead all of his fellow dragon demons and the few lampads I had left before he was sealed...”
What weapon does your character wield? Why did they choose it? If your character doesn’t fight, why?
“See, I normally fight with magic, but that’s not really a weapon. I heard that one universe has a version of myself that used a scythe, but clearly I do not have that knowledge. Does a dragonstone count? Breath? I guess those? Curse my lack of proper weapons.....Besides Therai’s lance a couple of times.”
If your character is part of the aristocracy how do they feel about their responsibility? If not how do they feel about their local governing body.
“I guess since I’m the goddess of Hell, I’m basically the leader.......I mean, that was mostly because I kicked the asses of everyone else who wanted that role. The lunar Hell was the most difficult because again, I got my Moon body almost killed by a demon dragon.....He must of trained really hard before he tried that, since he would of won if it was only that one body and he didn’t have to deal with my other two. I don’t even think he wanted to be the leader, just wanted to knock me down a peg.....He did end up being a great right hand until he accidentally went mad from being so close to the Lunar Capital coupled with insanity causing light from the torches of the lampads he led in the first lunar invasion......”
“But as the Goddess, I do have to take at least some proper role in how it works, though I mostly just make sure everyone is doing what they need to. And making sure outside threats don’t cause an issue. Our suns are still recovering from Hou Yi’s attack, despite it being so long ago.....”
Has your character obtained any unique or important injuries/scars, what are they and what are they from?
“I.....Thankfully have a body that healed any and all wounds completely; at least until I arrived here. I have scars from my time in Hel.......They looked like jello while I was there. But they were from me trying to rush in and locate Hel myself so I could kill her to stop some death curses.”
What does your character consider to be their ‘occupation’ how do they define it? Is it lucrative?
“Back home, I’m the Goddess of Hell; I guess that is lucrative. But here, I’m the Summoner; not sure if it’s lucrative, but day to day, it’s more exciting than my role in Hell. That, and you can tell I didn’t have an active role since it’s been fine since I have been gone....I trust the other high ranking members to maintain order there; and no one will take my spot because they know I would kill them if they did while I was gone. I command quite a lot of respect, after all~”
Has the type of world your character lives in claimed anyone they loved? How do they cope with it?
“It claimed my step-son’s innocence and his life itself. And it claimed both of my spouses’ lives. And Junko’s mental and emotional stability. Which is why I’m worried about her given how long I have been gone and the fact I summoned Isamu recently. He told me that she was not in a good state at first, but somehow he got her to calm down; said something about a horned cat reassuring them that I’m fine, and giving them update-........WAIT, THAT WAS CHRONOS; HOW THE FUCK DID SHE FINALLY FIND A WAY TO GET OUT OF OLD HELL??”
“As for how I cope with it; I try to make their afterlife as good as it can be; they are all stuck as spirits, and I don’t know when they will finally fade, so I try to make the most out of the time I have with them.”
Does your character feel any connection with the land/country they were born in, what sort of connection?
“Of course I do; I’m the Goddess of it. My connection to it is important to maintaining my strength; it even still applies here, though I think just making people aware of me is helping. I don’t really seek faith, I get plenty from the countless Hells....”
Does your character buy into destinies, fate, or prophecies? Why or why not?
“I wish I could say I couldn’t, but it seems like Junko’s destiny is to eternally seek revenge on Chang’e.....Just like it seems my fate is that I will one day outlast my beloved family and the friends I have made. I accept this; I make new allies and friends often, but when I start seeing my family’s spirits fading, will be the day my heart starts to break, as my limited control of ghosts will not be enough to save them. Or in Junko’s case, the day I start to see her anger and hate start to finally consume her; I delayed it as much as I can so far, but one day, I fear it won’t be enough....”
“.......I was at least able to save that poor boy from what seemed like his fate; no one deserves that death curse, let alone a child who was just trying to protect his mother.”
Is there something commonplace in their kingdom or world that your character absolutely despises?
“Not in Hell itself.....But I do despise the Lunar Capital given how much trouble it has been.....Even the fact I’m one of the gods that has some domain over the moon by way of its Hell did not convince the people of it to hand over Chang’e so I could deal with her instead of them....Though the moon rabbits are forgiven. They are just following orders and don’t have any say in what goes on there to my knowledge.”
Has your character experienced war or conflict, directly or indirectly how did it effect them?
“.........I have experienced both. I find conflicts that need my direct or indirect involvement fun, because I love to fight, but wars......they get tiring honestly. I try to end them quickly, but being here has taught me to be a bit more patient....Not willingly though.”
What does your character fear most in their world?
“........I was going to say ‘Therai’ as a joke. But honestly he is frightening because his dragon form is fucking vicious when angry. And again, I fear the day my family starts to fade away because they are after all spirits.....Or the day Junko finally goes mad from her purified grudge.”
Of the fantastical elements in their world what does your character actually find strange, or hard to believe?
“I don’t find anything back home hard to believe, but here.....I refuse to believe that there is no one in either Askr or Embla that can use the opposing side’s ability. Even royals get around you know. Look at King Garon, who had who knows how many concubines.....”
Does your character believe in hard, definable good and evils?
“No. In some eyes, I’m evil; in some I’m good; in others, I’m a neutral force. Just like the world, we are never set in stone; we are always changing, always doing both good and evil. That’s why it’s so hard to get to Heaven; rarely will one be so good they would reject the chance to reincarnate. After all, immortality is both a blessing and a curse, and it comes in many flavors; simple agelessness, an inability to die, even remaining exactly the same physically as you were when you drank a special elixir....”
“That....And living itself is seen as a sin by some, so you can never be completely sinless.”
Any unique traditions where your character is from that wouldn’t work or apply in the real world?
“Just.....the whole way Hell works maybe. The Outside World has to remain unaware of a lot of things honestly....So many things only allowed to be myths and legends...I wonder who among those I know are found in those myths, and who has been forgotten, truly belonging in Gensokyo?”
------------------------------------------
(Congrats if you got this far! This part is Vallite and Kaga’s version of the set of questions! Vallite’s words[which are basically a mix of sign language and writing] are in italics while Kaga’s words are in bold. This also contains a lot of guessing and headcanons about a story that hasn’t been translated for the English server of Azur Lane; aka I have to go off of what little I know and some minor aid from TvTropes.)
Does your character possess magic? How do they feel about it even if they don’t have it?
“Kaga, don’t kitsunes have magic? Is it truly powerful for one with nine tails like you?”
“I’m honestly not sure; I haven’t really tested it much, beyond what I use to launch planes, and the flames that float near me sometimes. What about you; surely you must know something about it, if you can copy the Corrins’ dragon form.”
“Yeah, I know a bit.....That’s the best I can do though, maybe also control water a bit. Yeah, that’s all.”
How does your character feel about Non-Human intelligent races? If they are one how are they treated?
“...I’m a kitsune. But I’m also not someone who has much experience with anyone outside of the fleet I was in....Vallite, do you know anything? You were able to interact with those outside the fleet, since you are human.”
“Kaga, I don’t think non-humans have existed in many years; or at least, they don’t make themselves known, so I wouldn’t know. But honestly, I would treat them with the same respect I give others. After all, I may have met a couple of dragons in my past.”
“Is that why you haven’t seemed to age?”
“Yes of course; a dragon’s blessing from being a good friend to one of great magical ability.”
What weapon does your character wield? Why did they choose it? If your character doesn’t fight, why?
“I used to be able to prove my strength using my training as a carrier, but.....I believe that has been removed from me here. And Crescent suggested I try a bow for some reason. That.....didn’t end well; my strength does not lie in the bow.”
“Did you hurt your arm like she did?”
“.....Yes; not one of my finer moments.”
“Stick to your powerful fox form here, dear. If we ever need a bow, let me use it; I can actually shoot it without hurting my arm. Your strength lies in your fox form, at least here.”
If your character is part of the aristocracy how do they feel about their responsibility? If not how do they feel about their local governing body.
“I’ve never thought much about the leaders above me......I simply follow orders; I fight not out of enjoyment, but out of duty. That being said......I would rather not listen to Heca, given that she doesn’t even a rank, so nothing really puts her above me other than her summoning ability. But I have no choice. Vallite however......I’ll listen to her; she actually is a commander at least, if not higher rank than that.”
“I.......My feelings towards the Sakura Empire is mixed. On one hand, I have a strong sense of loyalty towards what is basically my homeland, but on the other hand......I refuse to listen to the Sirens. I had to go with the rebels and become part of Azur Lane in hopes I can save any of them....I have saved a few, but the end is not in sight yet.”
“Wait, you rebelled...?”
“Why yes; you always said that the strong are those that shall lead. I’m stronger now than I was before we met again here. Also, strong as you may be, you just refused to be found I swear; I found your sisters, but never you, dear.”
Has your character obtained any unique or important injuries/scars, what are they and what are they from?
“.....Where did you get that scar on your face; it looks like something tried to claw your eye out.”
“I have more scars than that, but.....There’s a reason why I normally didn’t get involved in breaking up you and Akagi’s fighting and just left it to Amagi back when I wasn’t allowed to command anyone and was simply there to help with maintaining things. You know, for the one that doesn’t focus on being strong, your sister can cause quite the scratch when provoked.”
“............I forgot about that; my memories of back when I was a Battleship are quite foggy. I hope it doesn’t affect your sight?”
“Oh yeah, I can see just fine. I also got a bunch of markings, but those are from the dragon blessing, though I’m sure some scars are mixed in there. Does my lovely fox have any marks?”
“No, besides some from the battle I sank in.....But they aren’t noticeable.”
What does your character consider to be their ‘occupation’ how do they define it? Is it lucrative?
“Well I mean, I’m a special type of commander, so I would say it’s pretty well-paid; though I mostly stay where everyone I command is because......I’m honestly used to them a lot more than I’m used to the general public. Family comes to visit during holidays or my birthday anyways.”
“.........Us ships are cared for by the organization that has us, I think. And we care for each other. That being said, we were paid a bit to give us money we could spend. Not as much as the non-ships working however.”
“This is also why I stay with everyone; I get paid less so the gap isn’t as big; you guys go through a lot.”
Has the type of world your character lives in claimed anyone they loved? How do they cope with it?
“It claimed my eldest sister; but she died remaining true to herself. Which is ironic, because I almost died to the Sirens out of a desire to die as a Battleship instead of accepting the conversion to a Carrier....But honestly, I fear Amagi was dying anyways....Though it sounds like you found a way to have her return somehow, Vallite...?”
“Yeah, I don’t fully understand it; I remind her to be careful, but she seems stable now, if still a bit sickly. As for anyone it claimed from me.....” Vallite just gestures to Kaga. “I coped by just trying to distract myself from it until I could finally accept it. Though a desire to locate you was born when I learned that ships could be restored and retrieved from the Sirens. At least Akagi gave me your oldest mask under the promise I wouldn’t lose it.”
Does your character feel any connection with the land/country they were born in, what sort of connection?
“I feel strongly tied to it, but I was born and raised there, and it’s where my mother is from, I think.”
“It’s where I was made.....And I have a sense of loyalty to my fellow ships of the Sakura Empire; the First Carrier Division is a symbol of our strength.”
“Oh dear gods, you and Akagi both need to remember that that was in the past. Mostly because I don’t need that kind of arrogance in my fleet.”
Does your character buy into destinies, fate, or prophecies? Why or why not?
“Not really....The will of the strong trumps that I think.”
“I don’t know, I like the idea that we were destined to meet again, Kaga. Like star crossed lovers; fitting given that I found myself against the forces you had to obey.”
“......Ok, the will of the strong normally trumps it; but one exception can be made for that. Though I can’t remember much about that either; I like your idea.”
Is there something commonplace in their kingdom or world that your character absolutely despises?
“You fuckers got controlled by the Sirens somehow, and I had to deal with the Fifth Carrier Division’s rivalry fueled comments a lot. At least I was able to locate and restore Amagi and have her be my flagship; and have someone to vent to. Sign language is fucking hard to teach.”
“......Why do you know the sign language way of swearing. And why did you teach me it.”
“Hey, if I ever get to the stage where I can say things like Crescent’s lady says to one of her husbands, I will have good use of the word ‘fuck’.”
Has your character experienced war or conflict, directly or indirectly how did it effect them?
“Hey I think we have found why Kaga is so focused on strength.”
“Hey! Though it might be why.....You ended up having to leave your homeland due to the war, right?”
“Yes; but I’m fine so long as I’m near the ocean. I’m always near it, at least until I was summoned here. I miss swimming in the sea....”
“We can go to the beach soon if you want? Me, you, and Kana; it would be nice to spend time together, given who he seems to be related to.”
“That would be nice. We have to find swimwear first, but let’s do that soon.”
What does your character fear most in their world?
“......Kaga, am I allowed to keep a secret? I don’t want to admit my largest fear....Though the second one is losing anyone in my family, but especially you or Kana.”
“Vallite, strength means to overcome your fea-.......I will do my best to never make you relive that fear. And please, do not fall; though if you do, I will avenge you. But I would say share what you fear the most.”
“.....It might involve a lie. One that has lasted years.”
“That could also count as a strength if you can keep it up for years. But I won’t be mad, I promise.”
“Alright; I greatly fear what might happen if anyone finds out what I am. I don’t want to be treated different because I’m a Drago-”
“Wait what?!”
“This is why I ask to keep it secret; I didn’t want to drop tha-”
Vallite gets stopped by Kaga grabbing her hands.
“.....It’s fine. It explains your appearance changing little over the years. But promise one thing....Do show me your dragon form after this; I want to see the strength you hid from sight.”
Of the fantastical elements in their world what does your character actually find strange, or hard to believe?
“Your kind doesn’t seem to exist.”
“We hide really well. Same can possibly be said for kitsunes, if they remain. But my family are dragons too, so you will get to meet some more once we can return to our world. And there’s.....at least six foxes in the Sakura Empire’s set of ships. That’s more foxes than water lizards.”
Does your character believe in hard, definable good and evils?
“I only believe in the will of the strong.....but I do feel the weak should be allowed to become strong.”
“Oh good, you are learning to be more gentle, dear.”
Any unique traditions where your character is from that wouldn’t work or apply in the real world?
“Kaga prays to Inari; I have seen it. Same with her sisters.”
“And you pay tribute to the seas....”
“That’s for your sake, not mine; you are trespassing, I’m not.”
“Anyways, we are done now; care to explain the dragon thing more now?”
“Fine, though you know most of my past, just it was abridged since it lasted a lot longer than I admitted to. Guess I can fill you in on everything else; though I need to train you to be able to deploy alongside support in the form of a dragon using salvaged battleship cannons.....”
“....You are truly stronger than I knew....”

5. Waxing Moon
Kaworu was standing and looking down at the Earth, the endless expanse of space around him and the lunar surface behind him. It was not barren however. A complex stretched behind him, built around a large depression in the ground. Machinery and ropes lay abandoned by it. On the side of the buildings, there was a logo painted there; an upside down triangle with seven eyes.
The Earth below was wounded. Ugly red patches marred it like scabs and the sea was like blood. His eyes drifted to Japan. And just as they did, it exploded with a flurry of multicolored light.
No...this again!
He cried as pain exploded around his neck, as if someone had put a red hot ring around it. He clawed at his neck and dropped to his knees, all dignity lost in this lonely place. Below, the Impact raged on. It wasn't stopping. It should have stopped by now!
Why wasn't it stopping?!
Knock, knock, knock!
He jolted up in bed, gasping for breath. His skin was cool and clammy, panic ebbing away but not soon enough. He shook like a leaf and it took him a few moments to remind himself he was in NERV in a loop where things were intact. Things were fine.
Asuka's voice from the other side of the door helped him ground himself but didn't help his mood, "Fourth! How are you still sleeping?!"
"I'm awake, I'm awake!" he called, keeping his voice steady.
Surely, he could confide in her, albeit not here which was most likely bugged. But doing so would be exposing her to further hurt. The things he had seen, he didn't want her to know them possible. It could kill her courage, at best. At worst? She'd suspect him of not being human. And if he had it his way, she'd never know of his Angelic nature.
"Let me in, dummkopf! I wanna take you somewhere!"
"Let me get decent then," he sighed and pushed the nightmare from his mind.
Once he got dressed and cleaned up, he left and she immediately dragged him back to the surface. "It's early yet," he yawned as they rode the tram back up.
"Exactly!" she smiled brightly.
"I fail to see the point."
"I just want to talk. Plus sync tests are in a couple hours."
She wanted to ask him about something that he knew and she didn't. Maybe it was just about the next Angel. He couldn't think of anything else she'd want to know this early in the game.
He should tell her all of that however but he wasn't sure what she knew and what she didn't. Plus things like his Angelic identity would only make matters worse. He leaned back and stared out the window.
Visions of the ravaged Earth from his nightmares flashed in his mind's eye and he squeezed his eyes shut, hoping that would dispel them. That loop was one of the worst ones he had been in yet. Things just kept happening and it wouldn't end. He couldn't let another loop get that bad ever again.
After they left the tram, she lead them to get breakfast then lead them to the train, riding out to the lake. To anyone onlooking, they'd look like a couple having breakfast. Asuka knew her stuff but knowing who her guardian had been for the bulk of her life, it was little surprise. Even if she only had picked it up subconsciously.
She sat on the grass by the lake and patted the ground by him. Her bright smile had faded into a grave expression. Still, he sat by her and nibbled on his breakfast, a strawberry pastry.
"So what's the plan for the next Angel?" she asked.
"Sandalphon...she always resides in lava until she is born. Most of the time, she resides in the lava but rarely she leaves it, changing form as she does."
"She?" Asuka raised her eyebrow.
Kaworu shrugged rather than explain the truth, "I just default to it. Anyway, I say you probably want to continue with the operation, if it is the same as last time."
"Why not kill it?" Asuka cried, "It should be easier to kill while its in an egg!"
Kaworu ignored the stab of fear in his chest at her aggressiveness. "It will upset Doctor Akagi and you will be viewed as impeding knowledge. She really wants to study an Angel, as it will be the most fruitful endeavor. Whereas if you wait, you will only be doing your job. If you don't, you will be punished."
"That's stupid," she fumed.
She didn't say anything for a moment and it seemed Kaworu was content to sit in silence. She asked, "Say, they have you set for a sync test with the other two Evas in a few days, right?"
Kaworu arched an eyebrow, "Yes. Why do you ask?"
"Well, you said Shinji's mom is in his Eva and we know mine is in mine so...who is in Rei's?"
Kaworu was silent as he thought. "I don't know," he admitted.
"You don't know?!" Asuka said incredulously.
Kaworu shook his head, "I've somehow never got the chance."
They sat in silence once more, watching the sun rise over the lake, dying the world in soft shades of pink. The early morning was empty, as they had no school and sync tests were scheduled for the later in the morning, at the earliest. Kaworu's nightmare had faded from his immediate thoughts.
"Say, I've been meaning to ask you something. The Seventh got in the way though," Asuka spoke up, "What's the deal with Rei?"
Kaworu raised one eyebrow, "You're going to have to be more specific."
"Well, last time, she was there at Third Impact! I don't remember it all that well, y'know, on account of being dead. What was the deal with that?"
"Oh. Well, she merged with Lilith and Adam. Those being the first two Angels—"
"Wait, why don't we know about them!" Asuka cut him off.
"Their existence is a secret to basically everyone. Because how close they always factor into the various Scenarios."
"Are they close to here?"
"Very close."
"Let's kill them then!" Asuka stood to her feet, "That'll solve things real quick!"
Kaworu grimaced, "It wouldn't work out. For one, I am unaware of Adam's location at the moment. If I'm lucky, and I rarely am, there is only one Adam. But I still don't know where."
"Even killing the other one would work out, right?"
"No. If you even launched your Eva by yourself and went into Terminal Dogma, where Lilith is kept, you'd immediately be branded a traitor and thus, killed."
Asuka was dumbstruck. Kaworu looked away, a faraway look in his eyes. "You speak from experience?" she asked.
"One of the first loops I was in, I had that same idea. I thought perhaps I could escape after I killed Lilith. But immediately once I entered Terminal Dogma, they sent someone after me, telling them I sought to cause Third Impact myself."
What he didn't tell her was who they sent after him. At the time, he had been sent right after Zeruel. That's why he decided to try it, NERV was devastated so he'd find little resistance. However, the first Eva they had in somewhat combat ready condition was Unit 02 since it hadn't been as damaged. The Asuka of that loop took the opportunity to redeem herself happily once they told her he was an Angel.
He also didn't tell her of the next loop where he tried to kill Adam instead first. The Angelic Call was something hard to resist when it began and in Adam's presence, it was an impossible-to-resist siren song. He didn't like thinking about that one.
Asuka didn't reply, staring straight at the opposite lake shore, "Why must things be so difficult?" she asked finally.
She fell back onto her back, "Let's talk about something lighter. Like that love letter!"
"You're still on that?" Kaworu asked.
Asuka winked, "I don't forget. You should write one back!"
"How would I give it to them though?"
"Tape it to your locker! And put something like 'To my admirer'!"
"What's if its from someone I don't like like that?"
"Do you think it's from someone you won't like?"
"Well...no," he admitted.
"I wish you'd just tell me who! I could help!" she puffed out her cheeks, "I can keep a secret."
"You'd tease me!" Kaworu shot back.
"Yeah, you've gone through this so many times and what gets you is romance
"It's...not that."
Asuka rolled onto her stomach to face him, "Well, now you have to tell me!"
Kaworu chewed his lip as he debated then he sighed, "Alright, but you need to keep it a secret."
Asuka made a motion like she was zipping her lips and throwing away the key before smiling at him.
"I think it's Shinji."
"WHAT!"
Kaworu held up his hands in defense. "Why would you think that! No offense to Shinji, but he wouldn't know romance if it kicked him in the teeth!" Asuka continued.
"Call it a hunch!" Kaworu cried, not lowering his hands yet.
Asuka flopped back into a sitting position, "Say, you sure you don't like him? I mean, back on the Over the Rainbow, you were really defensive about him."
Kaworu didn't answer and that was answer enough. "You do!" she cried.
"You're not gonna be mad or anything?"
"Mad? Well, I mean..." she paused, "...I don't know but I'm not mad right now. So I don't think so."
Kaworu visibly relaxed. Asuka laughed and clasped her hands together, "You really need to send a letter back then! Right away!"
"I'd dare say you're finding more enjoyment out of this than me," Kaworu tilted his head, "But sure, I will."
"Don't forget!"
"I didn't think you'd let me."
"Anyway, it's probably about time to head back," Asuka stood, sweeping dirt off of her dress, "Akagi always has a fit if we're even a minute late."
Sync tests were boring affairs. Sure, Asuka knew the purpose of them. But that didn't make them any less boring. She had nearly fell asleep a few times but when she did, Akagi's voice always startled out of it as she began to lecture how you can't sync if you're not conscious and all sorts of other things. By that point is when Asuka would begin to nod along and act like she was listening. They ran for hours on end at worst, but luckily today it was only an hour before they let them out of the plugs.
"Soryu."
Asuka nearly jumped as Rei's voice startled her out of her internal monologue. Not to mention they were currently changing into their civilian clothes. She wasn't one to feel subconscious about her body but a one-on-one conversation in the nude was...so personal. She didn't turn around but looked to Rei, "What is it, Ayanami?"
"You called me Rei...before."
"What of it? It was an accident," Asuka looked away. She didn't want to talk about this.
"I'm not angry."
"That's not the point! I didn't mean to do it!" Asuka still didn't look at her but she could feel Rei's eyes boring holes in the back of her skull.
Rei was silent and Asuka nearly began to dress again, eager to get away from the situation.
"You called Ikari by his first name but not me by mine."
Asuka turned to her, "Do you want me to?"
"I just find it...curious."
"I wasn't asking how you felt about it, I was asking you if you wanted me to," Asuka wasn't going to yell at Rei, not anymore, but she was surely feeling exasperated, "Would it make you happy if I did?" she added.
Rei's eyebrows shifted ever so slightly. She said slowly, as she wasn't entirely sure of herself, "It makes me happy to be called Rei."
"Alright, Rei," the name felt foreign in Asuka's mouth but not necessarily bad. Definitely less wordy than "Ayanami" or even "Wondergirl".
Asuka turned back around, lacing up her blouse.
"Does this mean I should call you Asuka?" Rei asked.
"Uh...!" Asuka turned to her, "I mean...do you want to?"
"If being called "Rei" makes me happy, I can conclude being called "Asuka" makes you happy as well. Is this an incorrect assumption?" Rei tilted her head.
"No! I mean...I've never thought about it. To be honest," Asuka fiddled with the ribbon of her uniform, "I guess, then, you can call me Asuka."
Rei nodded, "Alright, Asuka," and with that, she turned and left.
Asuka sighed and sat on the bench, rubbing her temples. On one hand, being friendly with Rei was a good thing. From a tactical standpoint, she added to herself. Still, being Rei's friend wasn't a bad thing. Before, Rei angered her so much that she saw red every time she saw her. Rei was a doll, her greatest fears brought to life.
Now she saw Rei for what she really was. Rei was some sort of Angelic hybrid but at her core, she was just like Asuka and Shinji. Just another fourteen-year-old neglected by those who should have loved them and then shoved into a god-machine to fend off alien abominations. It was a depressing thought, that in a way the Pilots had little control over their own destinies. Especially Rei, who surely must have been born, or even made, for this. Asuka couldn't help but feel sorry for Rei. It wasn't like she could control the fact she was Gendo Ikari's doll.
Note to self: bring down Gendo a peg or so before this was all over. Between so many things, the man deserved it.
She looked at the door to the locker room where Rei had entered. If she hurried, she might even be able to catch up to her.
"Mr. Kaji."
Kaji looked to who was addressing him and to his surprise it was Rei Ayanami. A mystery to him, he had looked into her personal data and found very little. She was the First Child and the ward of Commander Ikari. Her parents were unknown and all information on her was redacted. Everything else that was public was mostly medical such as her blood type and the fact she didn't eat meat.
What was even more of a mystery was that she had come to him, all on her own. Rei was infamous for only interacting with others when the situation demanded. Kaji half-wondered if the Commander put her up to it. "What's up, Rei?" he asked.
"I have a question for you."
"Ask away."
"What is...Soryu like?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly, so much that the normal person would not have noticed. Kaji was not the normal person.
"Don't you know her?" he tilted his head.
"I think it would be more fruitful if I got more information. You were her guardian and thus, your opinion is valuable."
"Hmm..." he tapped his chin, "Asuka is headstrong. She likes to put herself at the top and can be hard to be the friend of. But..." he paused, "...she's changed somewhat since we've come here. She seems more grounded, more responsible and more mature. Still, she still likes to take charge and really, it's better to let her. She knows her stuff. Was that valuable, Rei?"
Rei mulled this over then nodded, "Yes."
"How about you? What do you think of her?" this question was mere curiosity.
"Soryu is...loud. She dislikes people disagreeing with her. But she's been kind to me. She said I wasn't a doll."
An uncomfortable comparison, especially from Asuka. Not that Rei would know that. "Why did she say that?"
"She disliked me referring to myself as "replaceable"."
"You shouldn't refer to anyone as that, to be honest. Much less yourself. Plus it makes others think you don't like yourself all that much."
"I have decided to cease using the term for the foreseeable future, as it brings distress to Ikari and Soryu."
A thought came to Kaji's mind. Perhaps he shouldn't ask too much to Rei, lest it come back to Commander Ikari. But he still had to ask, "How about you, Rei? What do you think of yourself?"
The eyebrow furrow again, there one moment and gone the next. She said slowly, "I do not have an opinion on myself. I am I. I do not like or dislike myself. Is that normal?"
"I suppose to some people. Lots of people don't like themselves at all and a lot like themselves a lot. But most people don't hold just one opinion on themselves. They may dislike, like, and simply have no opinion on themselves just in one day," Kaji shrugged, "I'd dare say there is no "normal"."
Rei nodded then asked, "Do Ikari and Soryu like themselves?"
"Well. You'd have to ask them that for themselves. It isn't my place," Kaji shrugged, "But it's best if you wait for them to tell you. Asking people things like that can upset them."
"Thank you, Mr. Kaji. You have been helpful," and with that she turned and walked away.
Kaji watched her leave. Perhaps her questions were for her own benefit. "Godspeed then," he muttered to himself.
Asuka ran up to him, stopping to catch her breath. Kaji raised an eyebrow, "What's the rush, Asuka?"
"Has Rei gone through here?"
"Just missed her. If you run, you might be able to catch up before she catches a tram up to the surface."
"Thank you, Kaji! See you later!" and with that, she dashed away.
Kaji chuckled. If he didn't know better, Asuka's newest object of affection was Rei. Of course, she wouldn't be admitting that any time soon. He took a sip from his coffee. He'd have to see how this one played out.
"Rei!"
Rei came to a standstill, right before the tram. Asuka stopped by her, bending over and wheezing. "Are you unwell, Sor-Asuka?"
"No, no. You just walk really quickly!" she stood and grinned, "Want me to ride with you to the surface?"
"Wouldn't you like to with Ikari?"
"Nah, he'll probably be glad for the alone time with Prettyboy,"
"You're referring to Nagisa?" one of Rei's eyebrows arched.
"Yes. So we'll just let them have a nice day to themselves and I'll escort you home,"
They stepped onto the tram. Rei asked, "What for though?"
Asuka didn't say anything for a moment, shifting as if her seat was uncomfortable. Rei nearly offered her own seat before Asuka spoke up, "Just 'cuz!"
"Just. 'Cuz?" the notion was baffling to Rei. Every action of hers had a purpose. The notion of doing something for the simple fact of no reason was an alien concept. She couldn't wrap her head around it.
"I'm bored and want to do something. And like I said, let Shinji and Kaworu have some time together!" Asuka smiled. Killing two birds with one stone. Asuka Langley Soryu was a genius and not just because her college degree.
"If you wish to, we can. What should we do...just 'cuz,"
Asuka couldn't help but grin, "You're getting it! Anyway, I said I will walk you home!"
Rei nodded. Asuka smiled and leaned back, her arms behind her head. She was going to have Rei acting like a normal teenager in no time flat!
They exited the tram, coming out of one of the exits. Asuka blinked in the harsh sunlight but beside her, Rei simply waited for her to gain her bearings. "How far is your place, anyways? Like how long will it take us?"
"It is nearly a thirty minute walk. Specifically twenty eight and a half minutes on average,"
"Wow, and here I'd think they'd put you close to the Geofront in case of an attack," Asuka said as she began to walk.
Rei fell into place by her, matching each step for her own, "If there is an Angel attack, Section Two reacts quickly to take me to the Geofront."
"Alright, but it must suck to be so far away from everything."
"It has not been an issue thus far."
Asuka frowned, "Okay, but you shouldn't. It's not right."
"Commander Ikari believes it is okay. So it is okay."
Asuka bit her tongue, stopping herself from screaming about who cares what the Commander thought. It was obvious that one could get more empathy from a rock. The man saw people in terms of how they could serve him, she bet. Comfort was not a factor. She entertained fantasies of "accidentally" destroying his office in Unit Two.
Rei, without any response from Asuka, stayed silent, her eyes trained forward as she walked beside Asuka. She thought about her companion. Unlike her, Asuka was so loud and a good portion of her actions were filler, with no higher purpose. She fidgeted, made gestures when she talked and when she talked, she put all sorts of meaningless words into it. Unlike Rei, who got to the point by a straight line, Asuka took all sorts of detours to her objective. It was oddly endearing, despite the fact it showed how different they were. But yet, she had no idea what to think of her.
Ikari was kind to her, he saw her as more than a tool. Nagisa was a mystery. He reminded her of herself but yet he was so unlike her. To the Commander, she was just a tool, a means to an end. To Doctor Akagi, she was her patient. She could tell Akagi had an underlying dislike of her but she treated her well enough. She had no idea what her classmates thought of her. Suzuhara, Aida, Horaki...they treated her well enough but it was impersonal.
Asuka? She had barreled her way into her life and refused to leave. She seemed to be kind for no other reason but to be kind to her. Another purposeless objective. Yet...it pleased her. Asuka was brash and loud but she hadn't been mean to her.
She was an enigma that Rei could not figure out.
"That can't be where you live," Asuka stopped beside her, pointing to the rundown apartment complexes in front of them.
Rei said, "That is my place of residence."
"You've got to be kidding me!" Asuka stamped her foot, "They put you, an Eva Pilot, in that dump!"
"Corr-"
"No!" Asuka cut her off, "That's unforgivable! C'mon! I'm complaining to Misato right this minute!"
"Ikari already told her," Rei said.
"Well, either she forgot or she doesn't care! I'll just remind her! I should get Nagisa down here so he can complain too!" Asuka stamped her foot again, "I cannot bring you there with a clean conscious."
There was a slight ache in Rei's chest. She ignored it and turned to continue walking, "Okay. You don't have to."
"Oh no! I'll bring you there today but Misato better have things changed by tomorrow or I'm raising hell!" Asuka stomped past her and Rei obediently followed.
Asuka was getting angry about her conditions. Was this a way to show caring? If so, it was a peculiar one. How could she soothe her? "Section Two is watching so I am safe," she tried.
"I'd sooner trust them to find an Angel in downtown than protect you," Asuka growled.
Rei knew that her team was specially picked by the Commander himself so she'd be protected. But Asuka couldn't know that so she stayed silent.
Asuka eventually calmed down, only to let Rei take the lead while she scrutinized Rei's apartment bloc. If anyone lived there, it was very few. The constant drone of construction equipment in the distance meant one day, this place would be demolished too. These apartments were most likely built shortly after Second Impact, to accommodate those who were without a home. But now, no one wanted to be in Tokyo-3. So they were coming down. No doubt however this specific complex wasn't allowed to come down.
She looked at the dingy walls as they ascended. What point was there to put Rei here, or really anyone? Asuka could not guess but whatever the reason, she knew it was to manipulate Rei.
They stopped in front of a door, the mail slot stuffed to the brim with mail. Rei didn't not pay any attention to this and opened the door, stepping inside. Asuka yanked the mail out of the slot. Most of it was spam but there was little reason to leave it there. She followed her in and stopped at the door. "This is terrible!" she cried.
Rei did not respond and instead sat on her bed. Asuka left the mail on the counter and walked into the main room.
It was little more than a concrete chamber. A rolling cabinet sat on the wall, a pitcher of water and a box with multiple pill bottles lay on the top. At the end of her bed was a small dresser, a lamp and a long black glasses holder on it. Rei's bed itself only had a thin white sheet, a single pillow and a thin blue blanket. Asuka seethed, "That's it. If Misato doesn't get you out of here, I'm dragging Shinji and Kaworu over here to clean."
Rei tilted her head, "Asuka. You are angry."
"Of course I am! This is pathetic! You deserve much more than this!"
Rei did not respond, only to stare at Asuka. She continued, "You're an Eva Pilot. Without you, we'd all probably be dead by now."
"That is correct," Rei said.
"So you deserve more than a...a glorified prison cell!" Asuka cried, throwing her arms in the air for emphasis, "Even Kaworu's place is better than this and its little more than a room and a bathroom!"
She sat by Rei and let herself fume. Still, Rei did not respond. She looked away, staring at the floor. Finally, Asuka spoke, "Listen. I need to head home. Are you alright for tonight?"
"I've always been alright."
Asuka huffed, "Alright. Mark my words though. Something will change."
Rei stayed silent, for lack of any idea of what to respond. Asuka sighed and stood, "Anyway. Good night, Rei."
Rei nodded slowly, "Good night...Asuka."
Asuka smiled brightly back and left. Rei watched her go. The room seemed so much darker when she was alone. She almost wished Asuka would come back.
"Misato!"
Misato yelped and jolted up...failing to stand and toppled back in her chair. Asuka stood over her then began to giggle, "Oh lo! Captain Katsuragi, everyone!"
"That's not very nice, Asuka," Shinji chided from his place at the sink as he washed carrots for their dinner.
"Yeah, Asuka," Misato picked herself off the floor, "Did you yell at me just to make fun of me?"
"Oh...no!" Asuka crossed her arms, "We need to do something about Rei's living situation."
"That's what I said!" Shinji dropped the carrot onto the cutting board and turned towards them.
Misato sighed, "Kids, I'm not sure what I can do here."
Asuka smirked, "We're Pilots and let's say we're officially registering a complaint about our fellow Pilot. And you're our superior, right?"
"Right..."
"And our well-being is something you need to monitor...right?"
Misato sighed again, "Alright, alright. I'll send something up to the Commander, but I can't guarantee he'll agree," she looked at Shinji, "You should know that."
"He obviously favors Rei, though!" Shinji protested, "The least he can do is something nice for her!"
Misato nodded, "I agree. I just fear I'll be wasting my time. Here, you two sit down and you can tell me. If Asuka is gonna say you're officially registering a complaint, we might as well discuss it like such."
Shinji beamed and sat in the chair across from Misato, not even bothering to take off his apron. Asuka sat beside him, "Alright, Shinji. You saw it before me. You tell her and I'll add on."
Shinji's face went red at her putting him on the spot. He swallowed nervously, "Well, her place is out at the edge of the city. Where they are doing demolition work. The roads aren't even well-kept. The whole place looks like no one's lived there for...well, a long time."
"Probably not since Tokyo-3 was built," Asuka added.
Shinji continued, "The whole place is dusty and dirty! Just a square room for a bedroom and a kitchen that could be put into a closet! No doubt the bathroom is the same way!"
"It's nothing more than a glorified concrete cube! No furnishing, no wallpaper, not even tile! There's probably mold too! It's not right!" Asuka smacked the table.
"You both feel really strongly about this..." Misato mused, "Alright, you two convinced me. I'll file a complaint and see if the Commander has anything to say. Legally, he is her guardian."
"If he doesn't, I'll raise some hell until he does!" Asuka cried.
Shinji said, "Anyway, there has to be a lot of places she can go! Even outside the Geofront! Maybe even here?"
"Yeah!" Asuka smiled, "This complex has to have some empty apartments!"
"You know the one next to us is open..." Misato tapped her fingers, "Maybe I can get Nagisa out of the Geofront too. Can't be good to be underground most of the time."
Asuka punched her arm in the air, "Thanks, Misato!"
Misato couldn't help but smile, "Alright. Just don't get your hopes up, kids."
The Commander had returned the next day from whatever trip he had gone onto. Officially, it was budget negotiations but whether there was more to it, no one knew. That is, no one except for the Vice Commander and Doctor Akagi. Misato nearly wished he came a day later but true to the kids' wishes, she submitted a formal complaint. She also suggested negotiating new accommodations for the First Child and the Fourth Child. Putting all four pilots in close proximity to each other would improve teamwork and camaraderie. To be honest, she wrote down a lot she thought was nonsense.
Considering the Commander called her in before she could leave for the day, it wasn't just nonsense to him. As she rode the elevator up to his office, she stood straight, going into her "Captain" mode. Visible nervousness would not do.
The elevator opened into a small room that was the central area for the maze of rooms here at the top floor of the pyramid. Somewhere in there was Vice Commander Fuyutski's office and Ritsuko's "official" office. Granted, she spent more time in the labs than it. From the central room was an imposing door. Through it was the Commander's office.
She pressed the button by it and waited. Commander Ikari's voice came through the speaker, "Enter."
She obeyed, stepping through and stopping halfway between the door and the Commander's desk. The sun was setting up on the surface and here in the Geofront, that was reflected. Dim orange light filtered through the windows, doing nothing to soften the dim office. Little else but the Commander's desk was in there but to each side was a door, going to somewhere else in the maze. At the desk was the man himself, looking at her over his hands. Between that and his tinted glasses, he betrayed no emotion. He spoke, "Captain Katsuragi. You have filed a complaint on the behalf of the Second and Third Children. I have decided to entertain your suggestion of new accommodations for the First and Fourth Children. State your suggestion on these and your reasoning."
She nodded in acknowledgment, "Yes, sir. The Second and Third Children have cited dangers of the First Child's residence."
The Commander cut her off coolly, "I can assure you the First Child's Section Two detail is more than capable of protecting her."
Misato stiffened slightly, "I understand. The point I am suggesting is that her and the Fourth Child being close to the other two will improve teamwork and camaraderie. In addition, their own morale will be boosted."
The Commander did not speak, staying silent. When it seemed he had mulled it over, he said, "What is your suggestion, Captain?"
"There is a number of empty apartments in my own bloc, one even next door. Placing them there would mean getting the Children to base in a timely manner will be possible, as well as making sure they get there all at once."
Another long silence ensued, then, "You will have my decision tomorrow. You are dismissed."
She bowed and left. Only once she was in the elevator did she breathe easy. All that work and he couldn't even give her an answer right away!
Commander Ikari watched her leave then picked up the phone on his desk. He dialed a number then waited. When the recipient picked up, he said, "Rei. I'd like to have dinner with you tonight. You know where, am I correct?"
"Yes."
"Alright, be there by eight tonight."
"Yes."
A click and he hung up. Captain Katsuragi's visit hadn't actually been the inspiration for asking. He had to speak with Rei anyways on the happenings while he was gone. After all, she was in a major battle while he was gone. He hadn't known what to think of the plan but decided how the Angel was defeated was irrelevant. As long as it was dead, he, and the Committee, were happy. What mattered was the fact Rei had spent a generous amount of time with the other two Children. With Captain Katsuragi asking of Rei gaining new accommodations, he had to reevaluate her. The other Child's accommodations were irrelevant. He wouldn't mind getting him out of the Geofront though. The Fourth was an unknown variable right now so he had to go. But he'd only let him move if he was to let Rei do so. It would look suspicious otherwise.
"Rei, how are you feeling?" the Commander asked, later that night at dinner.
He hadn't yet began to eat, his steak untouched and his hands clasped in front of him. Despite this, his face was slack and emotionless.
Rei also hadn't began to eat yet, sitting straight as a board with her hands in her lap, "I am well. I have no pain and I am in optimal condition. I was not injured in the battle with the Seventh."
"Good, good," he nodded, "I heard as part of your training to defeat the Seventh, you spent a lot of time at Captain Katsuragi's apartment with the Second and Third. How was that?"
"The training worked as planned. The Third appeared happy with my presence. The Second less so."
Not anything he wouldn't have guessed. He was still deliberating if Shinji and Rei's relationship was detrimental or not to the Scenario. On one hand, Shinji could swing Rei away from his side. On the other, their friendship could be a useful blackmail tool. "I also heard the Second and Third do not like where you are living."
"They insist something is wrong with it but it fulfills it's function. I have told them it is adequate."
"Correct. Captain Katsuragi has suggested I move you into her apartment bloc. I can do this but I must ask you something before."
Rei's eyes shifted to meet his own but she did not speak. He continued, "Would such an arrangement affect your continued duty to piloting?"
"No."
"Would it affect your place in the Scenario?"
"No."
"When the time comes, you will fulfill your duty as per the Scenario?"
"Yes."
He nodded, "Then I will give the go ahead for these accommodations. For you and the Fourth. Speaking of, what are your thoughts towards him?"
Rei's eyebrows furrowed slightly. "I don't know," she admitted, "He is different. I do not know his ability to pilot either so I cannot factor that in."
The Commander nodded, "That will come soon enough. Soon, we will have him sync with the Third's Eva, then yours."
"In case something happens to either of us in battle," she answered.
"Yes. We can replace you but not on such short notice."
If Rei was affected in any way by the casual remark of her replaceability, she did not show it. But internally, Asuka's remark came to mind.
"You're not replaceable and you're certainly not some doll."
The Commander unclasped his hands, "Anyway, Rei. Let's eat."
He began to cut into his steak but Rei was no longer paying attention to him in favor to attending to her salad and her thoughts. These dinners were nothing new, in fact the Commander had them with her every few weeks. Before, they were pleasant. A scrap of attention in her isolated life. Now, compared to her time with Shinji and Asuka and their friends...it felt like she was going through the motions. It was empty and hollow. But the Commander had no reason to know this so she didn't say so.
"How is your time at school?" the Commander asked idly.
"I am having no difficulty with it."
"Good, good."
Silence once more. This didn't bother Rei as she continued to eat. This was par for the course.
"When you go home, it would be best to prepare for the move. I have no doubt Captain Katsuragi will have you and the Fourth into your new quarters as soon as possible."
Rei nodded, "Yes."
The prospect of new quarters was curious to Rei. In all her life, she had lived in only two places. The first was her small room deep in the Geofront, where she was created and lived shortly after. Once she was put into school, she was put into her current residence and largely made to fend for herself, something she did not mind. Another new residence was something new and it seemed it would be much different than the previous two. In those places, she was isolated and attention was scarce. Now, she'd have Ikari and Asuka and Nagisa in close proximity. She wasn't sure what to think of it.
Deep down, she knew attention was something she craved. Her early life was built on long stretches of time alone, peppered with visits from Commander Ikari. Occasionally she saw the Vice Commander. She saw Dr. Akagi often but their interactions were clinical, devoid of any true friendliness. Maybe, in the beginning, Dr. Akagi tried to be kind to her but Rei didn't notice these things. At least, not until now.
The next day for Shinji and Asuka was mundane. They went to school, they came home, they did homework and now they just lounged around the living room. Silence reigned...that is until Misato came home.
She opened the door and cried, "The Commander agreed!"
Shinji turned from his magazine, "About Rei's home?"
Misato came into the kitchen, shedding her jacket as she did, and nodded, "I'm honestly surprised but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth."
"I think all of us are surprised," Asuka commented before standing, "So when is she moving and where?"
"We're putting her next door and Kaworu down the hall. We can move them tomorrow which is perfect because there's no school. So I can, ahem, borrow your services. Kaji is gonna help me get them some furniture too so guess who can help," she smiled mischievously.
It backfired because Shinji bolted up and cried, "I'll be glad to help!"
Asuka nodded, "Yeah, after all, it's kinda our fault they're being uprooted," despite her words, she had a smile on her face.
Misato shook her head but smiled, "You two are great kids. Why'd I think you'd not wanna help?"
Asuka wrinkled her nose at her, "Ye of little faith."
Misato huffed, "You two are too good to tease. I suppose I shouldn't complain then."
Shinji only beamed in response while Asuka let herself still smile.
They first went to Rei's home the next day, Misato opting to pick the kids up herself with their things. The biggest things they had were their beds and any dressers but they decided to give them new furniture rather than move their old stuff. After all, the Children got a sizable "allowance" as pilots and Misato, despite living like she didn't, was paid a pretty penny. She brushed Asuka's surprise off and told her she was frugal. Asuka knew otherwise but decided to not rile up her guardian any further.
"Wow, you kids weren't kidding," Misato commented as they pulled up to the apartment bloc.
"You say that like you didn't believe us," Asuka rolled her eyes.
"Not that I didn't believe you. Just that I thought you were exaggerating," she said as she parked beside the building in a vacant and rundown parking lot.
Shinji got out, "You can stay here, Misato. We won't be but a moment."
Misato opened her door, "It's alright. I do want to see Rei's now former accommodations."
Asuka tried to not look too smug as she got out. She had a feeling Misato wasn't too trusting of her higher-ups and this was just fuel for the fire. "We just have to take the stairs. Elevator's out, y'see."
Misato sighed as she got out, "Can't say I'm surprised."
They took the stairs at the side, ascending to the third floor. Misato eyed the area with a critical eye but did not speak. Still, her expression said it all; this did not please her. Once at the third floor, they came to Rei's door, which was nondescript. Shinji knocked then waited.
Rei opened the door and he sighed in relief, "I didn't want to barge in, Rei."
"I was anticipating your arrival. Though I only expected you and Asuka."
The use of Asuka's name made Misato raise an eyebrow and glance at Asuka. Asuka glared back. Shinji did not notice this and said, "Misato wanted to look at the place. Me and Asuka can help you."
Rei nodded and let them in. Shinji immediately walked into the main room and smiled upon seeing her things packed in a couple of boxes, "Oh, this won't take long at all!"
Asuka followed and scowled, "Two boxes? That's all?"
Rei looked at the boxes then Asuka, "This is everything I've ever needed."
Asuka peered over into the boxes at the few things inside. One had a white towel with another school uniform folded inside neatly. What other clothes were in there were only undergarments. A few dusty and nearly empty bath products were on top of these. The other solely had medicine in it. What were those needed for? But what was more curious was the black glass case in the former box. Rei didn't wear glasses. She reached out to pick it up.
Shinji smacked her hand and whispered, "Don't touch that."
Asuka raised an eyebrow, "Why not?"
"It's...important to her."
Asuka fixed him with narrowed eyes but did not question it. Instead she looked at Rei, "Some time, we're going shopping."
"What for?"
"For clothes and other things! Your apartment will look empty!"
"Why?"
"Ugh!" Asuka smacked her face, "Listen, Rei. People don't usually live with only the bare minimum. If you do, you get no happiness out of life. Even things like clothes you 'don't need' or things to make a place look nice have a purpose. They make you happy."
"Happy..." Rei trailed off.
She hadn't gotten any happiness out of living here. She had no feelings towards the place. It was simply a place to go when she wasn't at school or at the Geofront. The concept of a home making her happy was foreign. But Asuka's intent on helping her with this...felt nice.
Misato walked in by them, "Are we ready to go? You kids made a good judgment on complaining about this place. So let's get Rei out of here."
Shinji took one of the boxes, "Here, me and Asuka can carry these. Rei, you don't need to worry."
Rei nodded and watched them pick up the boxes. She followed them out silently, bringing up the rear. Was one supposed to feel something when they left a place they had been at for a long time? Were they supposed to be sad? She wasn't sad. She did feel a small tug in her chest, a nice one, at the prospect of being close to Shinji and Asuka. Was one supposed to be happy when they left a home? Maybe it wasn't a home after all.
She still pondered these things as she got into the back of the car with Shinji. As they drove away from the deserted apartment bloc, she decided leaving this place and going to a new home was a good thing.

Cosmic Weather Report, 2019 ~ Finding Wholeness and Unity in the Midst of Strife
Tumblr media
FCGCT Commentary: We are moving from the mind, to the Heart… not the balancing of the two. The mind conflicts with the Heart, and is the cause for imbalance, pain, fear, suffering and more. It is the Heart and Brain which work in harmony together. The mind… the ego, blocks the Heart, as it Edges God Out. It is the Heart and Brain which work in harmony to allow Balanced Harmonics, your Divine Blueprint. Let go of the mind, and solely flow from the Heart, connected to the Unified Heart in Unity Consciousness.

Cosmic Weather Report, 2019 ~ Finding Wholeness and Unity in the Midst of Strife
By Mark Borax
The cosmic weather will shift twice during the next month as we enter the Western New Year on January 1 followed by the Oriental New Year on February 5. 2018 was an 11 Dog year for the most part and 2019 will be a 3 Boar or Pig year. Both last year and the upcoming year host Saturn and Pluto in the Sign of Capricorn but 2019 also adds the South Lunar Node, aka the Dragon’s Tail, in Capricorn.
The shift from an 11 to a 3 is supercharged with energy because the 11 is a special number in the system we use at the College of Visionaries & Wizards, one of two grace numbers that only take effect during supportive conditions. The task of the 11, which ended on New Year’s Eve, has been to push society down the road of progressive evolution, but that road only gets traveled when enough like-minded souls team up to make it happen. Otherwise, like a mute note, the 11 just hangs silently in the atmosphere without activating. In some ways our species moved forward last year, though it can take some digging through the headlines to spot those evolutionary trends.
The nature of the 3, which kicked in New Year’s Eve, is different than the 11. The 3 is the great Welcome Blessing year when all doors open if you become willing to walk through. Doors to the future, doors out of entrapment, doors leading to sweeping panoramas of personal and social transformation.
As long as you’re willing to enter the moment with passion, to risk sacrificing your old life in favor of something new, and if you become willing to improvise, you will receive the Welcome Blessing.
If you’re ready to open your mind and extend your sphere of influence many doors will open for you in 2019. If you’re ready to tackle what Tom Petty called The Great Unknown then the 3 is the perfect year to usher you into fields of artistic and social transformation.
The key to engaging the full power of a 3 year is to whip up inexhaustible desire and willingness to be astonished by the potential of positive change. If you’re able to go in that direction you’ll tap the forces gathering to blast human beings out of their stickiness and limitation.
On February 5 the Dog hands the new year to the Pig, or Boar. Dogs live to serve, and the old year passing was designed to help you clarify what serves in your life and what doesn’t, what serves the world as well as what serves you.
The Boar is eaten alive with burning desire to charge ahead. Fiercely ravenous, extremely territorial, intense and ferocious, the Boar’s wild ride can charge you through gate after gate to the future. It takes strong guidance to aim this wild ride in the right direction. Otherwise the Boar’s ferocious hunger and drive can lead straight over a cliff.
Which brings us to the increased Capricornian nature of our time. Last New Year’s, Saturn entered this Sign for the first of three years, so this New Year begins the second year of that ride. Saturn in Capricorn asks you to Get Real about how you use Power and Time. It takes power to aim the wild boar in the right direction and so the increased will power and drive of this 3 Year need to be guided by wisdom more than ego, by the urge for creative freedom rather than mere commercialization.
You can gain power to align with the Welcome Blessing and aim the boar’s wild ride in the right direction if you liberate yourself from Western Clock Time.
Time is the foundational cornerstone of western civilization. Our modern concept of time took centuries to create. The idea that time begins in the past and marches to the present, then on to the future in mathematical precision like some World SuperClock Machine that dictates how we think is a relatively recent idea in world history that has become so widespread that it’s taken over the planet. But those of us
who’ve explored LSD, magic mushrooms, ayahuasca and other powerful entheogenic medicines have found other ways of working with time, entered alternate time streams where time moves differently. I address these alternate time streams in my books, 2012 and Cosmic Weather Report. To break away from Western Clock Time and make use of those alternative streams you have to be willing to open your mind and walk through new gates of existence, which is the great gift of the 3.
With the Dragon’s Tail also in Capricorn throughout 2019, there will be a fierce karmic undertow regarding the use of power. Abuses of power will continue to be revealed and each new revelation will be a reminder to examine your own use of power. When you allow society’s disintegration to strengthen your wholeness you heal karma. When you find unity in the fractured brokenness you gain spiritual mastery. In these ways the very powerful Sign of Capricorn can grant you a vision to see beyond the madness of our and come to wholeness and unity in the midst of strife.
Who Are You Really? What Are You Here For? How Much Longer Are You Willing to Wait?

Ey yo fuckers
You remember how i said i’d make a list of good games n shit right? Well here the fuck it is scoob. PLEASE REBLOG THIS IT TOOK HOURS TO PUT TOGETHER OH MY GOD
Cute Demon Crashers! - Cute Demon Crashers! is a silly little short game that gives a lazy virgin college student a fun and safe space to explore her first sexual experience with a partner of her choice, if she so desires. Warnings: 18+
Desolate village - Desolate Village is a Adventure-horror game developed for the 2016 Pixel Horror Jam. The game deals with a the protagonist name Alex, as he wakes up in a village filled with talk animals villagers that all know who he is. But Alex does not remember who they are or how they got in the village.  Warnings: Gore
Lads in Distress - The whole of Lunar Kingdom is abuzz with excitement and curiosity - Princess Charming is throwing a royal ball to celebrate her 18th birthday, much to everyone's surprise. Invitations have been sent to nobles and royals from all neighboring nations, although Charming and her parents only really care about the princes. After all, everyone knows that the true purpose of the ball is for Charming to find a man suitable as her husband so she can form an advantageous political alliance, or even merge their nations together, to save her kingdom from poverty. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately?) for Charming, the princes may need to be rescued just as much as her kingdom does. Warnings: None
Love Is Strange - In Love is Strange, you play as Max Caulfield, an 18-year-old in her second year at the prestigious Blackwell Academy in the sleepy seaside town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon. Max, who aspires to become a famous photographer, finds herself challenged by the prospect of entering a photography contest hosted by her school. To be able to enter the contest, she has to pick a partner to work with. From there on out, what happens is up to you. Warnings: None (that i’m aware of, it didn’t interest me enough to finish it (not saying it’s bad!!! just not my cup of tea))
Out of sight - When Lina decided to go to the park to finish reading a book she couldn't have anticipated that misplacing her glasses could lead to paranormal encounters.  Warnings: Death
Pretty please - A short game about a lady who goes into a beauty clinic to "fix a few things". Warnings: blood, mildly unsettling imagery
Seduce me the otome - "It seemed like the start of something new. Something that would change." You are a senior in high school along with your two best friends, Naomi Patterson and Suzu Cappini. You are also the granddaughter of Harold Anderson, the CEO and founder of Anderson Toys, a toy company sworn to give children amazing products and give a large part of their profit to charity. One day, you get called home to attend your grandfather's funeral. After the funeral, you learn that you have inherited his large estate. Your father suggests you move in immediately, so the next day, you move out of your parents home and into your estate. When you enter your new home, however, you see five injured, yet very handsome men on the lobby floor. They eventually awaken and make it known that they were attacked by a group of dangerous 'misfits' and ran to find shelter, passing out as soon as they entered your home. You find out that they are incubi, 'demons who consume and use sexual energy of humans to survive'. With nowhere to go and a target on their backs, they ponder what what to do. Out of sympathy, you offer your home as refuge for a while in exchange for minor servitude (it is a big house, after all). They happily agree. What will happen as the incubi get comfy? Why exactly did they come the human world? Who are the 'misfits', and will they stop pursuing them so the incubi can leave? ...Will you WANT them to leave? (it has a sequel, among other things!! very good!!!!!)  Warnings: mentions of blood, guns & other weapons, optional sex scenes
The shadows that run along side our car - The road is long. Two strangers sit side by side as night falls over. The car speeds down the open highway. Without a soul around them, everything seems to slip away. On a journey to no one knows where, all they have is words and time. And that time is dwindling fast. The shadows are chasing. Warnings: mentions of suicide, violence, death, and mentions of zombies (im not sure if they actually show up, ill update this if i see any)
Solanaceae Another Time - After bumping into a strange witch, Sal is told he was once the witch's lover in a past life. Though doubtful, Sal takes a leap of faith and gets his fortune read by the witch. What he learns sends him on a month long journey of self discovery and magical encounters... Warnings: sex (but you can avoid this in the start of the game)
This, my soul - When your ship and fellow crew members are destroyed during a routine mission by space debris, you are rescued by the one laborer-class android who happened to be nearby... Now the two of you must spend an entire three-month journey alone with each other aboard the small, maintenance ship that is taking you back to civilization. Along the way, there is little on board to keep you occupied... save the android. He calls himself Silas. As the situation forces you to get to know one another, you quickly figure out that while he may not have emotions the way WE understand them, he IS a construct designed to learn, adapt, and serve... Warnings: suggestive content
Cinderella Phenomenon - Four years after the end of the Great War and the loss of her mother, Crown Princess Lucette of Angielle is still struggling to come to terms with her new life and step-family. Cold-hearted and bitter, Lucette fails to recognize the suffering of those around her as she is consumed by grief and resentment. But Lucette's life is once again turned upside down when she becomes a victim of the Fairytale Curse.Join Lucette as she goes from riches to rags and journeys to regain her life and break her curse. Warnings: none as of yet, but i’m still playing through
Unfinished games:
What's your sign quiz - In this teaser story, the 12 signs of the Zodiac need your help. But not before getting to know you a little first! This game is a personality quiz where they try to guess... What's Your Sign? With the option of a short or long quiz (12 or 24 questions), there's lots of replay ability with the various responses you'll get. Get to know all of your astrological faves before you begin your magical adventure together! Warnings: none
Date or Die - In this demo, you'll see the opening moments of the game, where you'll be introduced to the cast of characters, find your match, and get an overview of the stakes involved. In addition to containing a completely different script from the original demo, this prologue also features new sprites and artwork for all characters, introduces one or two faces you might not have seen before, and gives you a clearer idea of what to expect when you first open the full game! Warnings: mentions of killing, and treats toward a younger unseen party
Dr.Frank - After being kicked out of both his PhD program (plant science) as well as medical school (Pathology), Dr. Frank had pretty much resolved himself to a life of solitude and science. That is, until a handsome stranger knocked on his door and swept him off his feet. Dominik seemed to be the perfect boyfriend- attentive, caring, and interested in Dr. Frank's work. Maybe too interested. Three months into the rainbow-colored relationship, Dominik runs off with Dr. Frank's lifelong research on resurrection to present at the annual prestigious Hindenberg University Conference, under his own name. Livid, Dr. Frank decides the only course of action: Revenge. Not only is Dr. Frank going to one-up Dominik's presentation by presenting the world's first artificial life form, but Dr. Frank is going to make said life form the world's hottest, most beautiful boyfriend. EVER. Warnings: grave robbing, bad jokes
Paws and Effect My Dogs Are Human! - Charlie's got everything a quirky millennial could want: A new job, an upcoming party, and super-cute Pomeranians. Naturally, it all goes wrong. Charlie's birthday is in a few days and she's looking forward to a quiet, at-home party with a few friends. But a small (read: not small) problem arises when, due to inexplicable circumstances, her two Pomeranians transform into humans! Why did this happen? What can be done? Can dogs be trusted with fingers? With more questions than answers, Charlie finds herself embroiled in a nonsensical adventure with her once-canine companions. As her dogs' many personality quirks hound them in their human lives, how will Charlie cope with her new circumstances? Warnings: none as of yet
The Letter - In the outskirts of Luxbourne City stands a 17th-century English mansion, rumored to be haunted by vengeful spirits. After reading a letter discovered inside on the day of its open house, seven people find themselves trapped in a vicious cycle of madness plaguing the Ermengarde Mansion for centuries. Will they be able to free themselves from it, or will they become another casualty? Warnings: death, disturbing imagery, blood, gore, jumpscares, general horror warnings

Overwatch: Original Strike Team headcanons
Just my headcanons for the original six members of Overwatch.
Starting off with the one we know nothing about, Liao.
Liao:
- Female, medium height, stocky build.
- Soldier in the Chinese army, who fought against the inital strike of the Omnics in her homeland, received severe injuries requiring cybernization.
- Prosthetic limbs.
- Initially she was an offense/DPS type fighter, profficient with bladed weaponry and high damage soaking firearms.
- After cybernization she switched classes to a Support/Medic, who compensates for a firearm with projectiles from her arms. Heals the Strike Team with darts for 0.5 health per second.
- Likes rap music, often argues with Reinhardt about which musician is better: Lamar or Hasselhoff.
- Often contentious with Reyes’ decisions, due to her background with risky plans.
- Often worked alongside Torbjörn, as he was an open target, when setting up turrets and needed the heals. In turn, Torbjörn would fix her prosthetics.
Reinhardt Wilhelm:
- Got in alot of fisticuffs when he was a kid. Was a fan of knights since his early youth, so he’d challenge his schoolmates to battles with wooden swords and shields. 9/10 times would win.
- Was introduced to Hasselhoff’s music when he was very small. Even met the man some odd years before he passed away.
- Totally had a mullet.
- Fan of D&D. Never GM’d, but was always Warrior class, when he played with friends, growing up.
- Fell in love with the Starcraft games after he watched one of the world series, where South Korea’s team kicked all of the ass. All of it.
- Wasn’t very buff, before the Omnics attacked. He was. Kind of lanky and stuff. Total nerd.
- When the Omnics attacked, he almost immediatelly volunteered for the Crusader program and was inspired by Baldrich to work out his bod to the shape we know him to be in.
- Totally the runt of his team. Often the taker of friendly ribbings from his unit. When the Strike Team was being put together, he was chosen by Baldrich to be Reyes’ shield. Baldrich never told Reinhardt, but he felt like the battle in Eichenwalde would be his last and so he didn’t want Reinhardt to join him in death there and then. Not when he had his whole life ahead of him.
- Baldrich’s death affected Reinhardt very badly. He was morose for months and made many mistakes during operations under Reyes and needed a pep talk from Ana and Torbjörn to continue on.
- Crushed badly on Ana back in the day. But he never tried anything, because he respected her as a person and a married woman too much. A charming knight in shining armor to the end.
- Considered his team a new family, after the passing of the Crusaders. Reyes was his King. Morrison his brother in arms, the sword to his shield. Amari - the archer, who would watch over everyone from above. Liao was the cleric and he would risk life and limb to protect her, so she could heal the lot of them after every battle. Torb was the blacksmith and mage, who would bring the team back to full strength and for that, he earned a quick spot in Reinhardt’s heart as a blood brother. They constantly bicker, as we know.
- After the end of the war, he took a sabatical to visit Eichenwalde. It was a restricted area, but he was allowed access, due to his ties and military career. He saw Baldrich’s armored body, resting in the castle, but never touched, nor aproached it.
- Met Brigette after being forced to retire from Overwatch and the two have been unseperable since.
Ana Amari:
- Wanted a peaceful life, even from early on. A normal family life.
- Mad Max fan. She even likes Thunderdome. Makes outdated meme jokes on it whenever she can. Makes everyone cringe.
- Everything changed when the Omnics attacked. She signed up to protect her homeland, which was ravaged badly and with each passing day on the field, she became renowned as THE master sniper.
- Became fast friends with the rest of the Strike team and was their worst critic, up until after the war, when Reinhardt took up that role.
- Met her husband out on the field. Their relationship kicked off great and within a year’s time they married. She was unaware of Reinhardt’s feelings at the time.
- Reinhardt was her confidant in times, where she’d struggle on the battlefield. She made connections with many of the soldiers under Reyes and, for that, suffered greatly when many of them were wounded or died.
- While Jack was 2nd in command, she was the adversary to Reyes’ plans, pointing out blind spots and insufficient strategies to work ahead.
- When Fareeha was born, the war was in it’s final stages. Her husband was called back to Canada, after receiving debilitating injuries out in the field and he’d take baby Pharah with him, where they could be safe and watch the end of it all.
- After the war she considered retiring, to go live with her husband and child, but with Overwatch coming together as a peacekeeping force, she was needed. That straigned her marriage and eventually she had to seperate with her husband. Fareeha would often visit during those years and grow a great admiration for what Ana and the rest were up to. This led to Ana putting her dreams of a peaceful, civilian life onto Pharah, which... well, we know how that went.
- Taught Jesse McCree how to keep a steady aim with his pistol (not so much a headcanon, but still) and was the inspiration of many new recruits.
- Took a quick liking to Angela and her healing staff. Would secretly study it’s construction, in order to one day perfect her rifle.
- Held great respect for Gerard LaCroix. Herself, along with the main strike team, were at his wedding to Amélie. She was the first to comfort him when Amélie was kidnapped and the first to become suspicious once she came back. At Gerard’s funeral she took the longest for final words.
- After the fight against Talon, she became a ghost. A Jane Doe and took a couple of years to recover and consider what to do with herself from this point on. She couldn’t come back to Overwatch, even if she wanted to. 1. She was ashamed of how things went in her last mission and 2. The base blew up and Overwatch was shut down. That was what brought her into action. Taking the identity of Shrike, she would travel her homeland and do good, where she could. Taking out crime, where possible, before her fateful reunion with Jack and Gabriel.
- Has become at peace with her daughter’s decision to take up arms, finally after years of not being on speaking terms.Fareeha’s life was her own and she wanted to help people. That became enough.
Torbjörn Lindholm:
- A prodigy from early childhood. Built his first construct at age 5.
- Was often bullied for his height, during his school years and beyond, thus developed an attitude and a prevelance for fisticuffs, taking people down to his size.
- Was an only child to a single parent and thus, building things gave him a sense of an extended family.
- Loves techno music. Always plays it, when building stuff.
- Was scouted out by the Ironclad guild at a young age and employed around age 15, after an invitation from Sven and a colleague of his.
- He was hearbroken, when his designs fell to the God Programs and fell into a state of depression, seeing what became of the Titan and the Bastions and when the opportunity arrose, he transfered to Reyes’ team to fight his creations and the omnics, who used them.
- Always bickered with Reinhardt, even while maintaining his armor during the war and afterwards. Constantly snooped on what Ana was doing in her spare time and was the first to find out about her fiancé. Was on friendly terms with Jack and Liao, but was fairly indifferent to Reyes, outside of battle.
- After the war and during the Golden years of Overwatch, he was the master to many an engineer students in that particular division of the organization.
- Met his wife during shore leave, back in Sweden and the two fell head over heels in love. He charmed her with his dance moves and smooth pick up lines.
- He’s a hero to Bridgette, who was one of the last to study under him, before Overwatch’s fall. He recommender her to Reinhardt, whom he knew wasn’t about to quit being a knight. (Yeah. Torbjörn is responsible for all of the things! FIGHT ME!)
- Named his cat Astrid, after his favorite author, Astrid Lindgren.
Jack Morrison:
- Takes after his mother’s looks and his father’s attitude.
- Has an older brother, who to this day takes care of the farm, back in Bloomington.
- Met Gabriel Reyes during the Soldier Enhancement Program.
- .The program involved a chamber not too dissimilar from the one in Captain America: The First Avenger, however the treatment to enhance him involved a bath in a special concoction made by the top scientists in the field. Many of the volunteers had passed away and he Jack was essentially their Hail Marie Pass.
- When times were darkest, during the Crisis, Jack raised everyone’s morale. He was an excellent soldier, but a orator without a match.
- Sometimes he was annoyed at Reinhardt’s attitude, but he kept his thoughts to himself, because it helped the rest of the team in the battles ahead. Made a quick connection with Ana as she was the one, to give him pointers when he would have to take up lead, in situations, where the team had to be split in two. Initially was very weary of Liao, but quickly came to respect her and befriended her through Torbjörn.
- Was completely against becoming Strike Commander. He saw Gabe as the right choice, but eventually had to be brought in on the position by the rest of the team. Even Reyes seemed fine with the decision, as sassy as he was about it.
- Was Gabriel’s biggest critic during the operation involving the Deadlock gang. He didn’t like the idea of them taking in criminals as part of the organization as a whole, but was quickly shut down by Reyes, who saw the potential in McCree.
- Personally recruited Mercy.
- Had to pull all the strings he could to allow Winston to join Overwatch, considering what happened with the Lunar colony. In turn, he had to be very strict and suspicious of the well meaning ape, during his time adjusting as a Scientist of Overwatch.
- Blames himself for what happened to Mei’s team.
- Was in a state of depression after they failed to retrieve Ana from the last mission. He was confronted by Gabriel and the two came to blows after an argument, where accusations were thrown all over the place.
- At the point, when Ana Amari was declared “killed in action” that his resentment for the political leaders turned to full blown hate. He lost people. He lost his friends and all because of politics.
- At the fall of Overwatch, he was in a stand off with Gabriel Reyes in the Overwatch Training facility, surrounded by damage and debris and all monitoring cameras focused on the two of them, before the explosion that brought down the HQ.
- During the years after he traveled the world, slowly gaining infamy as Soldier 76, taking part in several non-sanctioned operations with revolutionaries, armed protesters and enemies of states, before he donned his iconic S76 attire and began his one man mission to avenge Overwatch and get to the bottom of what the hell happened.
- Seeing Ana again for the first time in years both took a load off his chest, as he had blamed himself, as had Reyes, for her death. But he was also quite soured at the thought that she didn’t come back to them before Overwatch fell.
- During their time, traveling together, they’d reminise about the good old days, before everything went to hell.
Gabriel Reyes:
- Lived in an orphanage for most of his youth. Quickly became something of a boss to all the other kids, who’d listen to his charismatic ideas and would make a “strike team” for ops, such as building a human ladder to reach the neighbour’s oranges.
- Enlisted as a soldier the moment he got out of the home, feeling a sense to find his purpose in the world and apply his strategic and leadership skills where they’d be most useful. Top notch soldier, he was one of the first to volunteer for the Soldier Enhancement Program, where he became quick friends with Jack Morrison.
- His own treatment involved... more different methods, which eventually would lead to him developing his powers as Reaper. But that... would take some force to reach.
- A proud leader, Reyes never took the lives of his men and women lightly, during the Omnic Crisis.  Each move, carefully planned, and then carefully planned all the more, with thanks to Ana Amari, he would lead his people to victory, earning the respect of every person, who laid an ear to his voice.
- Was disliked by Liao, who was very weary of him. She suggested to others to watch out for any military leader, with a voice that could make a soldier walk into hell for.
- Didn’t even flinch, after the war, when Jack was chosen over him. It made perfect sense to Gabriel and he pushed Jack to the position, regardless of the man’s protests. Though he did hold resentment for his lack of appreciation, forming Blackwatch was the right step for himself and he acknowledged it as such..All that political tape that’d get in the way, Reyes would be able to go under or above it to get to the goals at hand.
- Would manage basketball and football games with the Overwatch and Blackwatch teams and was the person to suggest instaling basketbal rings in the carrier ships.
- Was part of the team to take down the Deadlock Gang. Along with his initial Blackwatch team, they were undercover as recruits, who assisted in the bombing of the train on Route 66. When they delivered the payload to the Deadlock gang’s hideout, is when the fireworks began. Each and every man was brought to bend a knee before Blackwatch and McCree was the hardest to keep down. And the only one to accept Reyes’ deal to join Blackwatch.
- Had an agent infiltrate Hanamura and find a potential turncoat from the Shimada clan, who could help them bring the criminal organization down. Was more than surprised when that someone became Genji Shimada himself. And all the more due to what the circumstances were.
- He struck a deal with Genji, playing at the young ninja’s want for revenge and gave the okay for him to be given his cyborg body, before recruiting him. Together, along with McCree, he’d lead a team to take out the Shimada clan’s facilities. Was displeased that they couldn’t find the clan’s leader, who had appparently abandoned the organization shortly after his fight with Genji.
- Sent a team to join forces with Overwatch during the time, when Amélie LaCroix was kidnapped. When she was returned, he’d have his people investigate what what happened to her, to no avail.
- Became suspicious when Gerard LaCroix was found dead, at home, with no Amélie in sight and made no assertion, when it was suggested Talon had taken him out then and there.
- Grew more and more resentful of Overwatch and the people, who were keeping them from doing their job as the years passed. He hated all the red tape that was coming up and doing what it never stopped them from before. The last straw was when Ana was pronounced killed in action.
- After a series of events he and Jack Morrison were at each other’s throats in the Switzerland HQ, where they had their supposed “final battle”, before an explosion destroyed any footage of what the conclusion was.
- After the explosion, his powers manifested and he turned into the entity, known as Reaper. Was brought into Talon by Widowmaker, whom he quickly recognized as the missing Mrs. LaCroix.
- During his time with Talon, Reaper would rarely work with grunts under him, when it came to personally taking out Overwatch agents. Any other time, when he wasn’t by himself on jobs, he never could complete the tasks.
- Was sent by Talon to find a “located” Sombra in Dorado, only for her to reeal to Reaper that she LET Talon know about her whereabouts, in order to join forces with them. A “marriage of convenience”. And Reaper was the best man, to send the master hacker to the organization.
- Always suspicious of Sombra.
- Was, in fact, happy to see Ana alive and as well as she was, but kept it to himself, considering the situation he, Ana and Soldier 76 found themselves in.
- Is in constant pain.
