Howell is too busy searching for a certain bit of information he needs in a book to notice the two being nearby, flipping through the pages at a decently fast pace as he mumbles to himself. “No. . . No. . . Not there. . . Not that either. . . Still not it. . . Where is it--” A squeak escapes from the man’s lips at the first kiss, his cheeks going very red. Oh. That one caught him off guard-- and there’s the second one, changing the already very red to something brighter red. It even reaches his ears! Getting two kisses in such a short amount of time leaves the man very flustered and searching for words.

Even the book he’s holding and why he’s holding it are completely forgotten. All the man does for a good couple of seconds is just stand there with his eyes wide open in surprise.

But then, finally, he manages to say something.

“Ah. Errrm. H--Hello, you two.”

Howell is happy, so incredibly happy, and it’s visible thanks to both the smile on his face and the joy in his eyes. The man is not even really paying attention to the book on his lap. Too busy enjoying the warmth of the moment. It’s simple but that’s what he enjoys so much about it. Another thing is that there’s no need to get any dangerous work done or even just. . . Be somewhere specific. Right now it’s just the three of them and the cats and he’s perfectly content. Oh, he wouldn’t mind things being perfectly calm like this forever. And of course he’s fully aware that there will always be things that have to be done that will interrupt this but. . . That’s not something to think about right now.

With a hum, he nuzzles Taako’s shoulder next to him. He also presses a loving kiss there before going back to not really paying attention to the book. An empty spot is available on either side of the two men for when Kravitz is done with what he’s doing.

It doesn’t take long for his gaze to move towards the fellow grim reaper. The fact that they even met is pure luck. Yes, it already is in general for everyone. . . Meeting people. . . But getting to the realm Howell was stuck in. . . Not many are able to. Kravitz ended up making a portal to it purely on accident-- and it’s most definitely one of the best things that has happened to the blond. He’s not surrounded by hopeless darkness and floating cubes anymore. Now he’s here, in such a wonderful environment with two wonderful fiancés and a bunch of cats. There are also a few other new people in his life who are absolutely wonderful.

Yes, this is the best.

Absolutely nothing can ruin this.

Howell melts into the kiss the second their lips touch. Oh, how he enjoys affection-- both giving and receiving it. Always such a wonderful thing. While the words said to him earlier still repeat themselves in his mind, this is far louder. So he lets himself be happy and rests his hands on Taako’s waist.

As the kiss ends he gives the elf a warm smile, almost saying something but it seems someone is way faster. He listens with curiosity and eyebrows raised. It’s when the word ‘married’ is said that a blush starts to appear on his cheeks. A light shade of red that grows darker as more is said. Could this be. . . ?

Looks like it is.

Finally, his lips form a bright smile caused by both excitement and love. Howell has been married before, a long time ago. He loved it. Enjoyed every second of it. But, unfortunately, what always bothered him was not being able to marry all three of his partners. This time, however, he will be able to and call both Kravitz and Taako his husbands.

He pulls the man into a loving and cheerful hug, laughter leaving his lips.

“Of course! Let’s start planing it and have a lot of fun doing it!

Howell tilts his head, eyes showing genuine curiosity as he looks at the small package. Despite having been out of the realm between realms for a while now, he hasn’t really tried any snacks before aside of some baked stuff. Of course he’s interested in giving more modern foods a try. . . but the name for this one does leave him a little concerned. . .

“Edible. . . Rocks. . . ? Are they a thing now? When do they -erm- pop, exactly?”
