I don't know if I will expand on this but something I find interesting about the Elementary fandom is that we all seem to have one plotline that just feels unpalatable to us for whatever reason (I hear your cries, people who did not like joancroft in season two) (and also those people who were mad about the science behind euglassia watsonia) (and other people who can't stand morland holmes) but you know??? We're all still here. Some parts are indeed unpalatable or strange or unlikeable. And yet. It's still a good show and we carry on even with the parts we dislike. Imagine that
