My Hamefura Original Characters Part 7
Part 7 of my list of hamefura OCs. As always, you are allowed to use this characters as long as you credit me.
Most of them are relatives to some of my previous OCs.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 - Part 8
Radius Bellerose - Radea’s father and formerly Marquis Bellerose, now retired. He is an ambitious man but not to the point of endangering the kingdom. He loves his family and seeks only the best for them, even if it goes against their wishes. He was a bit of a jerk to Dan in the past but they got along well after Dan succeeded in becoming the Prime Minister. The death of his wife almost broke him but he pulled through for his daughters. Absolutely adores his grandchildren very; his favorite is Sophia and he loves spoiling her. A tall, imposing man with blond hair that's mostly gray and blue eyes. He has powerful wing magic.
Nicolette Bellerose - Radea’s mother and former Marchioness Bellerose; she is related to the Randall family. Currently deceased. She was very sweet and kind, a bit of a spitfire and not afraid to stand up for what she believed in. She loved her daughters and would have supported Radea's romance with Dan. She had always been a sickly woman and eventually died when her youngest daughter was five. She had a frail and delicate appearance with platinum blond hair and red eyes. She had wind magic but it was rather weak.
Marchioness Radella Bellerose - Radea’s sister, two years younger and the current Head of the Bellerose family. Her personality is a bit like Sophia's, shy and imaginative with a love for books. She was more timid when younger but gained confidence as she grew up. She admires her big sister and was supportive of her romance with Dan. She used to have a crush on Luigi Claes and wanted to be his wife; initially, she hated Millidiana for marrying him but eventually gained admiration and respect for the Duchess. Her husband died when she was pregnant with their son; his death was hard but she found the strength to continue on; her father helped her a lot and they grew closer as a result. She absolutely loves her son and gets along well with Radea's children, especially Sophia due to their similar personalities. She has a delicate appearance but fortunately, she is not sickly like her mother; her hair is platinum blond and she has blue eyes. She decently strong wind magic.
Raymond "Ray" Bellerose - Radea’s nephew and current heir of Bellerose; the same age as Nicol, only a few months older. He seems to have a charming and polite personality, but is secretly jealous of Nicol because the latter has better looks, more popularity, higher grades/Student Council position, etc. Despite his dislike for Nicol, he gets along well with Sophia as they both share a love for reading. He even loves romance novels as well, but he keeps it a secret since he finds it embarrassing. He is engaged to Lady Phoebe Lambert and they get along well even if the marriage is for convenience. His mother named him after his father. Almost as tall as his grandfather; very handsome with long platinum blond hair tied up and blue eyes. He has strong wind magic, though Nicol is more powerful.
Baron Eugéne Faucher - the father of Dame Elizabeth ‘Elise’ Faucher. He is a clever and observant man who loves his children and wishes for them to be happy. He supports Elise's decision to become a knight even if he worries about her. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He has decently powerful earth magic.
Baroness Lisabelle Faucher - Elise’s mother and Eugéne’s wife. She is kind though a bit mischievous, and absolutely loved her family. She fully supports Elise in becoming a knight, confident in her talent and skill. She had light blond hair and green eyes. Like her daughter, she has wind magic.
Lord Elijah "Eli" Faucher - Elise’s older brother by two years and heir of the Faucher Barony. He is kind and has a fun loving side, but takes his responsibilities as future Baron seriously. Totally supportive of his little sister even if he worries about her. He has light brown hair and brown eyes. Like his father, he possess earth magic.
Emelie Faucher - Elise’s younger sister; she is the same age as Nicol Ascart. Energetic and a little mischievous but also friendly and kind. Totally idolizes her big sister. Loves to lord over her twin brother that she's older (by five minutes!). Dark brown hair and green eyes. She has earth magic like her father.
Emilio Faucher - Elise’s younger brother and Amelie’s twin; he is the same age as Nicol Ascart. Energetic and very mischievous but friendly and kind. Totally idolizes her big sister. Inseparable from his twin even if he's annoyed that she lords her status as older (by five minutes!) over him. Dark brown hair and green eyes. He has earth magic like his father.
Count Hiram Grant - the father of Edward Grant. He is a talented sword duelist, a bit arrogant but respects those that have talent and skill. An ally of Jacques Alarie but doesn't like him. Good friends with Baron Loid Vallier. Slender but strong body, perfect for swift sword fighting; dark hair and green eyes. He has strong water magic.
Baron Louis Vallier - the father of Richard Vallier and a very intelligent and clever man with an interested in entomology (the study of insects). An ally of Jacques Alarie but doesn't like him. Good friends with Count Hiram Grant. He is very tall and skinny, short, sandy blond hair and pale green eyes behind glasses. He has strong wind magic.
Sir Alawar Ackerman - the father of Sir Oliver Ackerman and a Knight Commander serving the Royal Family. He is a very serious man who usually doesn't tolerate nonsense from his subordinates but is very reasonable and cares about those under his command. A good friend of Sir Patrick Malone, Commander of the Claes Knight. He looks a lot like his son, Oliver, with the same dark hair and dark blue eyes. He is one of the best knights in the kingdom.
Bonnie Calico - she is the head chef of the Adeth Family. She is very friendly, kind and often motherly; has an adventurous, fierce side and does not hesitate to defend those precious to her. She used to be a pirate but retired from that life after the lost of her crew during a storm. She was saved by Duke Kai Adeth and swore fealty to him and his family. She used to be known as the Tiger of the Sea due to her fierceness in battle. She is very tall and muscular while still looking feminine; she has long red hair streaked with gray and heterochromia, one right eye green and left eye yellow. She has a pet green parrot named Pepper who can talk and seems smarter than the average bird.
Sir Armand Aragon - Commander of the Adeth Knights and Elias Aragon's younger brother. Like his brother, he is strict with his subordinates but knows when to be kind and cares a lot about those serving under him. He gets along well with his older brother and likes to tease him as all younger siblings do. He is considered the most skilled knight in the Adeth Duchy and an amazing sword fighting, the only one capable of matching his sword skills was the former Duke Kai Adeth. He is an old friend of Sir Patrick Malone and Sir Alawar Ackerman.
Grizzella Terni - eldest sister of Queen Giulia and Viscount Giovanni Terni. She is very vain and stuck-up, always looking down in those she deems inferior. She is jealous that her youngest sister became the Queen, feeling that the position should have been hers and developing an inferiority complex over it. She is married to a baron and had at least three children with him. Unlike her youngest siblings, she does not have magic. Looks very similar to Queen Giulia with blonde hair and blue-green eyes, but her face is meaner.

The Eugéne Manets asked Renoir to do a portrait of their daughter, who posed in an embroidered English dress, holding a cat. By coming to lunch Renoir was able to divide Julie's sittings into two parts — he was accustomed to ask his sitters to pose for longer periods than was Berthe Morisot. Renoir was then in his Ingres period and painted section by section. He often talked about Mme de Bonniéres, whose portrait he was also painting, and who had 10 have a juiey chop brought to her to give her strength to pose; on the other hand, he said, she always stood upright in the cab taking her to a ball, in order not to wrinkle her gown.
During the summer of 1887, the Eugene Manets went for a few days to stay with Mallarmé at Les Platreries, between Valvins and Samois, where he occupied a farm house, and where he had only a tiny study, hung with old eretonne decorated with large roses. When Eugtne asked him whether he was not writing anything on his sailing boat, Mallarmé answered: “No, I am leaving that great sheet white.” A little later the Eugine Manets took a short trip into Touraine, and they visited the chateaux of the Loire, Then they went to the chateau of Vassé
in the Sarthe to visit the Vaissiéres, Manet's cousins, There Eugéne received the following letter from Mallarmé, dated August 21:
“ I have thought of you during this great heat; tell Mile Julic that the brook has been “mowed,' and that a gangplank was thrown across it for her. The water has cooled off after the storms, but we often bathe throughout September; the sun will warm the fine days soon, and nothing is lost. “Your letter fills me with envy; I too have skies of distant green, but I lack flowers, and I fancy that your eyes are spared this suffering, the worst ofall privations. At times I would give the centuries of a tree for a few pinks. A Lenótre gardenl it haunts me with its yews; as | see it, it has not many flowers, but it is like a decorative home, an old intimaey recalled while travelling; all this was waiting for Mme Manet's exquísite perception.
“I have worked over a good many poems that are being published, and now, before undertaking anything, it is myself that I  am going to rework a litule and restore my strength that Paris strips me of cach year,
“Come and interrupt me. Your visit will be a little fétc for all of us; the brook and the woods are preparing themselves for it.
The ladies jon me in waiting for you”

1: Queen Victoria and Prince Arthur by Franz Xaver Winterhalter, 1850 2: Princess Alice and Victoria (‘Vicky’), Princess Royal in 1740s costumes by the same artist, 1850
“Were awake by the sounds of the Band, playing under our windows. My beloved one wished me so warmly & tenderly joy, & I was so happy, feeling so well & strong. How weak are my words to describe adequately not only the affection, kindness & friendship, but the great love which 10 years of married life seem only to increase. How can I ever show my gratitude & deep elevation & adoration for my dearest Albert, & how can I sufficiently thank our all merciful Father in Heaven, who has given me such a husband & in addition blessed us with 7 such fine & healthy children, & me with such perfect health, which is indeed a blessing to us both. — The Band played 5 pieces. —
Went down to breakfast, dressed in a very pretty green barège, with red rosebuds, which Mama had given me. The 6 Children joined me with nosegays, all the girls, in white frocks & at the bottom of the stairs, we found dear Mama & Charles. We then all went to the large room in the new house, which is still unfinished, where my birthday table was arranged, charmingly decorated with flowers. My Albert's gifts are splendid & numerous, & from dear Mama I also received very pretty, both ornamental & useful. The Children all drew, or worked me something. The King & Queen of the French sent me a drawing by Eugéne Lami of the whole family, at Claremont, accompanied by kind letters, gifts also from dear Louise. Quite bewildered by all the many beautiful things. — The morning was unfortunately wet & I could not get out & which was very provoking. —
Rested quietly in my room for some time. I was overwhelmed with letters which kept pouring in, added to the quantities I have to write besides. It is still somewhat of an effort, when I have to exert myself much. — The Band played again during luncheon. — The rain having ceased by 5, we went out with the 4 eldest children. It was rather chilly. We showed the Children, the plot of ground, which is to be their garden. — We dined ‘à 4’ with Mama & Charles. The 2 Boys & both the little girls came in for a little while.
After dinner Mr Thompson came into the Drawing room, & I expected to see the Children dance some new step. What was therefore my surprise, when I saw Vicky & Alice came in, dressed as a Lady & Gentleman of the year 1740 or 46, powdered, & both looking so handsome. They danced the Menuet d'Exandet, beautifully & so correctly. Vicky made a capital hog & looked so tall & dignified, Alice so refined & graceful & her figure looked lovely. The powder was very becoming to both. It was dearest Albert's surprise for me & I was so pleased & touched. They repeated the Menuet 3 times, & then galloped, &c. — I never spend a happier birthday, than this my 31st one.”
- Queen Victoria’s diary, 24th May 1850

I was happier than I have been for quite some days as I sat there restoring a little lightship, a model boat made of metal (45 cm) that I paid a lot of money for in a fit of juvenile transgression in a junk shop. It was constructed with great expertise, affection and patience, with tiny doors and hatches, winding gear with cogwheels and chains, bells and whistles, sleek lifeboats (named Eugéne, Lucio, Jacques Ferencz - and Lucio’s even got a silver trim!) and anchor. The main light is working, and to port and starboard I’ve mounted little lamps, green and red, plus one in the cabin, and a little storm lantern with wire wrapped round it on the roof. When they’re all shining in the darkness it’s like being on board at sea - among the shadows of davits and struts on deck. They took me two days, the eighteen little double blocks with balsawood pulleys...
Raffo ran into me as I was coming along with the ship, and he laughed. Maybe he saw it as a flowering of my masculinity complex!

Paris - Day Ten
(Woohoo! Double digits!)
This day was quite uneventful, and that is why I will probably write the longest post yet about it.
After the intense day at Versailles we slept in for a little longer even though we wanted to be early for our second day at the Louvre. We succeeded in arriving there at 10 am and immediately walked to the section for French Paintings. Our goal was to scout after the three paintings that we had intentionally missed during our last visit, but that we really wanted to see. The first one was Le Radeau de La Méduse (The Raft of Medusa) painted by Théodore Géricault, a painting which Katrina had really longed to see. It describes the aftermath of the tragic wreck of the naval frigate Méduse. 147 of the men survived by quickly constructing a raft, but soon started to die due to starvation and dehydration. Only 13 men survived and it was a huge scandal as they had managed to stay alive through practising cannibalism. A powerful painting to say the least.
The second painting that we looked for was La Liberté guidant le peuple (Liberty Leading the People) by Eugéne Delacroix. I really wanted to see this painting  because of its powerful history display and its contrasts between sorrow and happiness. The actual painting was very cool and did really mediate what I believe could be the genuine feeling of the French Revolution (but I could never possibly know that). I must admit however, that the Raft of Medusa in the end had a greater impact and I liked it better.
Our last painting was Bonaparte franchissant le Grand-Saint-Bernard (Napoleon at the Saint-Bernard Pass), painted by the artist Jacques-Louis David. We looked around for a long time, crossing the French Paintings section several times. We eventually asked the people in the souvenir shop about it, and to our despair the painting was not hanging in the Louvre... but in Versailles! Very typical, having been there just the day before...
Before leaving the Louvre we strolled through some of the gift shops and found a library/bookshop hidden in the back of one of the shops. That is where I bought most of my souvenirs, for both me and my family. We went outside to what we realised was probably one of the hottest days yet. Wanting to buy something fresher to wear and needing to purchase stamps for our post cards, we took the metro to the shopping center Beaugrenelle. We tried to go later in the afternoon and evening to avoid the heat, but instead suffered from it in our small, non-air conditioned room. Our wise plan failed even more as the temperature had not at all gone down. We found all the things we needed at Beaugrenelle and also stumbled upon the Dutch shop HEMA (a personal favourite) and I just had to show Katrina. She liked it and we walked out with a bottle of Jip en Janneke bubbelsap (cider). We got back home and cooked ourselves some risotto rice and nearly died of the heat. We each took an ice-cold shower in attempt to cool down, but in vain. We went to bed at 22.00 and dreamed very weird dreams that night (probably because of the heat). My dreams featured my family winning a Golden Globe, unassembled in a plastic bag on our toilet (yes, my dream-Golden Globe was very different from the real one) and myself getting a disease involving bugs with neon green and orange straws attached to them, crawling under my skin. You’re welcome for that imagery.

From Eugéne:
“I am looking for a furnished apartment in the neighbourhood of the Gare Saint-Lazare and the Parc Monceau. I think I can find something for 200 or 250 francs.
“Do not work yourself to exhaustion; what you have is sufficient. There are not many visitors — 340, 350.
“ I am sending you the plan drawn for the foyer by Morize. He could not resist his passion for curves. The window above the staircase facing the opening is of the same shape and dimensions as the one over the foyer of your entresol. It is to be filled with cither opaque glass or stained glass. On the third wall of the foyer, which faces the stairway, at the same height, there is a similar opening above the passage between the foyer of the entresol and the stairway of the studio. The three openings will serve to light the foyer at the foot of the principal staircase. The foyer will have a coat of white stucco trimmed with green. The walls of the staircase will be covered with white stueco bordered with stucco looking like large-veined red marble. I should have preferred square openings. Could we not cover these windows and openings with a green trellis?
“Follow freely your architectural taste and come to the rescue of your architect. The walls of the porte cochére are in white stucco and in stucco imitating stone.”
In another letter he wrote: “ I feel that as an artist you have benefited from me considerably. One of the reasons I came back was to exhibit your works; now I see that I have succeeded in organizing an exhibition that will in no way detract from your  reputation. Portier who reflects the general opinion seems to have made a complete aboutface. He says he will sell more of your pictures. Your pastels are not yet in the exhibition; they will be tomorrow.“I am sending you an article by Burty who has not seen all of your exhibits.....“ I  have not yet been able to discover the reason for Degas" and Miss Cassat withdrawal. A stupid Gambettist newspaper (París) says tonight thar as a result of this withdrawal the Impressionist exhibition was “decapitated".“Marie no longer has a frame; I used it for my portrait. I am going to order another inexpensive frame, and give her back her own.“Duret who knows what he is talking about thinks that this year's exhibition is the best your group has ever had. This is also my opinion .....“Plasterers, carpenters, masons are busily working on the house. I gave Morize 3,600 franes; this filled him with zeal. The staircase will look very well”
