Ethan: Eh, for some people having a place to stay is a perk enough but honestly for the average person the Army isn't exactly the best place but it works well for what we need. Also, I don't think us three have the most average experience of the Army; anyone of a high enough rank gets some priviledges, most notably getting their own room because we don't have the space here for everyone to. Slowly turning to glance at the detective inspector he slowly put the police file down back on the tabletop. The officer responsible for where all the files were kept had let him in with a quick flash of a wallet, not really paying much attention but assuming he was a police officer and letting him in. Ethan didn't have time to mess about and engage in pointless arguments, he liked to get stuck into things, it helped keep the thoughts at bay, of how much of a monster he was amongst various other things. He had to say, the emotion behind his words made him laugh slightly, it wasn't a mean or cruel laugh, more of a light-hearted laugh that showed he wasn't taking the situation too seriously as he had a right to be there. Still, he could imagine how it looked to see a complete stranger in the middle of the police archives, surrounded by several open files.

“I can imagine how this looks but I'm meant to be here, not sure the one responsible for this place knows who has been in here before me, they looked like they were half asleep” he said slowly taking a step closer, keeping an open posture. “My name is Ethan Brooks, and I work for MI6, I only carry an encrypted form of identification in my wallet but that isn't going to do you much good and good luck getting through to the relevant people back at headquarters. We suspect there is a double agent in your ranks reporting back to various criminal networks, I don't trust the digital archives as they have probably been hacked so I've resulted to the older ways” he said as he slowly placed his wallet on the table. “I need your help, this could save lives, so you can either help me look through these files for all murdere in the last six months with unexplained causes or we can argue for the next few hours until you manage to get through to someone. You can always call Mycroft Holmes, heard you familiar with him, sure he could tell you, not that I have ever met him but I have heard enough to know that he will be able to answer your questions” he said with a small shrug.
