I finished Thage's tale some days ago so I drew her and her impeccable fit to celebrate

Tomatika did most of the illustrations for Eternal Poison and her beautiful painterly style grants it a unique gothic charm. I fell in love with the artworks for the game which was my main reason for playing it. These are scans from the artbook I cleaned up slightly/colour corrected.

A nice little SRPG related trivia about Tomatika is that she contributed two incredible illustrations to the Tactics Ogre Lover's Voice Fanbook (which is how I discovered her work):

Eternal Poison released in 2008, and the Tactics Ogre Lover's Voice Fanbook was published in 2011, so they're both interesting testimonies of the artist's style at the time.

he stumbled into a shiny scatterbug and there was a mass outbreak of psyduck which slightly increases your chances (still in the thousands)

anyways that's so so cool... shiny psyduck is very pretty honestly well done. since you got two you can evolve one and keep the other as is so you got the whole family as shinies. awesome!

2024 art summary!

I had plenty illustrations to pick from at the beginning of the year, and then I had barely any choice starting with July. I had to deal with a few health issues, including a chronic wrist injury that has been incredibly incapacitating the last 6+ months. I'm frustrated I couldn't draw more. I started the year strongly, but now I feel constantly out of practice so I'm also frustrated with what little I manage to draw.

Despite all this I'm grateful for all the support I've been getting even when I shared very few pieces! Thank you for all the kind words through asks/comments/tags!! I hope I can draw and share a lot more next year. I keep doing exercises to rehabilitate my wrist, and I'm trying to find ways to work without being in pain :)
