#shes cool as fuck to me bc when I first played jfa I found her really frustrating to deal with#not just as Phoenix but I mean like on a personal level she is challenging because she’s so thorough#and yet I also find it fascinating that she breaks the character she’s built for herself once in a while#i 100% believe that I don’t think she would have caught on to what Phoenix was trying to do while stalling for time with engardes trial#so it’s probably a good thing edgeworth subbed in but she literally busts her ass to bring evidence to court#almost right after having a bullet extracted from her WHICH SHE ALSO PRESENTS AS EVIDENCE. thats metal as fuck ok#especially since she would technically have nothing to do with the case after edgeworth fills in and she still decided to do that anyway#maybe it was blind faith to use that evidence to win since she wasn’t there for most of the trial but still#and even if canon doesn’t give it to me I still firmly believe there’s be at least some chemistry between her and Maya#like especially if you hold it next to wrightworth that works bc there’s already a history there and majority of Phoenix and miles trying#to relearn their relationship is Phoenix coaxing out that side of Miles that he remembers from fourth grade#but with Franmaya it’s something new and they’re basically strangers to each other and one of them almost got the other convicted#and I still think that’s fascinating and it’s a damn shame thay half of the fics I find for them on ao3 is background in wrightworth fic#i did find a good one that touched on Franziska trying to win pearls approval because Pearl does hold a grudge against her#and seeing that trying to live up to perfecting even her personal relationships without getting to know Pearl to even know#why it wasn’t working feels believable when I think abt her as a character yk#myart#my art#doodles#aa#ace attorney#franziska von karma

#jrwi riptide#gillion tidestrider#my art#sketch#back on my bullshit woo yeah woo yeah woo yeah#genuinely a lot happier with this design than the previous ones. the lighter metal looks better on him#and this one doesn't have a lot of detail (or any detail tbh) so it looks more solid and fun i think#and you can see im trying to figure out how gill would carry his sword around#technically he should just carry it in his hands and don't have a scabbard because its a longsword and isn't supposed to be sheathed...#but like... its not practical to always carry it in his hands. especially in a day to day life. because he always has the sword on him-#but he doesn't necessarily always hold it? like. he needs hands for stuff#i think i like the back scabbard better (even if i drew the whole turnaround for the hip one) just because it doesn't mess with his tail#plus that way destiny's blade is higher up and gets to look around at stuff and i think its funny#but then like... the cape is a little awkward if it has to go above the sword...#but its not a big deal. if he has a cape and armor on he probably holds the sword in his hands anyway#am i putting too much thought into this unnecessary detail? yes#am i rambling in the tags again instead of making a separate post? also yes

I absolutely LOVED the isat fanfic "And if I were not myself would this be easier" by @pmpknsoup aka rabbit_soup on ao3 so I bound it into a book (with permission of course)! It's one of my favourite isat fanfics, so I'm glad I get to hold it in my hands and highlight stuff in it now! Anyway, it's such a great fanfic in every way, characterization, story, writing style, just everything!!! Go read it if you haven't yet

Arcane Season 2 Act III Theory: Viktor was the one who manipulated Jayce into killing him (not the promise they made)
Call me insane on this one but what if the future version of Viktor was the one who influenced Jayce to kill Viktor’s past self when Jayce was (most likely) having visions of the future stuck inside of the anomaly.
Hear me out. Viktor’s arc from Act I to Act II was realizing that emotions are the sole cause of all human suffering and pleasure—therefore, machinery, which removes all emotions, is the highest form of being. Therefore, machine herald.
But the only way for the future viktor to become the machine herald was for there to be an inciting event in his past; something that drove current Viktor to that realization—something that catapulted him towards his, yes, final glorious evolution.
What better way to force that realization than to have his closest friend destroy his commune, his body, and past self’s belief that he can mitigate human suffering through his pure sterilized love?
My loose theory is that machine herald Viktor met Jayce in a distant future (my one piece of evidence for this is the fact that Jayce is wearing a leg brace and a one shoulder pauldron VERY similar to League of Legend’s Viktor design) and either manipulated him or terrorized him to the point that Jayce killed Viktor’s past self—therefore ensuring that Viktor would be reconstructed by singe, and eventually become the machine herald.
It’s a classic self-fulfilling prohecy—in the Greek legend of Oedipus, a king is told a prophecy in which his son kills him. The king then abandons his son in hopes of avoiding his fate, only to have said son kill him in the following years as an adult. In arcane’s case, Jayce is the king and Viktor is both the prophet and the son.
