Monty hasn't specifically threatened that with Jester but he has threatened to marry Augustine when some of his advisors are specifically persistent on him marrying! Given the close relationship between the two men there are already rumors that there is more than just a king and his knight kind of relationship between them.

honestly, like I love F1 and it was what first got me into motorsport. But omg MotorGP made me fall hard and fast, because it just feels way more like real people, who love what they are doing and less like a marketing machine for brands. Like yes, obviously, MotorGP is still a business, but at least it doesn’t feel like one. It’s honestly painful to watch how F1 teams try to sell their "We are a family"-storyline, when it’s public knowledge that the drivers hate each other (Pierre and Estie, Sainz and Leclerc…).

Please don't get me wrong. F1 is great. There are beautiful, emotional and over all funny moment. Charles adopting Oscar. Bottas. But they try too hard. They want to create this image of perfection and gossip and drama in a shiny-fancy world. They milk everything at every opportunity and creating bad, annoying drama and trying to cover the real one. (They still try to sell us Lestappen as childhood enemies when Oscar-Carlos is right there) And if you like that? Cool. Go for it. That's why it still exists.

MotoGP is just happening. At least it feels like that. It's a bunch of guys that partly grew up together running around headless while doing what the love. They are laughing together, making jokes in press conference. Look at vr46. There's friendship, drama and gossip that's so not staged. Like I didn't even heard about the Aleix vs. Franco post race moment in Le mans (I think???). Marc. You wanna tell me everything happening about/ with Marc or Vale is... fake. Fucking look at them. It's chaos. That's why we love it. Immediately. Love at first race.

Someone once said that motogp is what f1 was in the 1980s/1990s and I'm still thinking about that whenever I hear classic/ old F1 lore.

I find it hard to believe the previous anon’s supposed “fight” between Gasly and Ocon. And any gossips that starts with “Don’t ask me how I know” are just unbelievable in my eyes tbh.

Firstly, in terms of conflict, last year there are only 2 crashes between the two of them. Australia being Gasly’s fault in which he apologised for immediately after, then Budapest, which was a racing accident. None serious enough to ignite this supposed “fight”. They also had a side-by-side racing I think in Singapore or one of the Middle East race, which was very fair and had no further accident. So, that brought me to the question: which started the fight?

Secondly, “people are sick of Ocon internally”, based on the engineers’ body languages, the endless encouragement for the team from Ocon during their bottom-team era this year. In fact, I have ever read about Gasly being the one who complained about the car all the time. Ocon, being the better performer, obviously also got prioritised sometimes. Which didn’t really give the vibes of Alpine “being sick of him”.

And lastly, Alpine, I think after the Piastri saga, will always want to make sure everything is accurate before putting out an announcement. Besides, they are not known for coming to their drivers’ defence against any rumours or online abuse (side-eyeing Alonso fans). So it’s actually not unusual that they don’t dispute the rumours.

So, until we have further information, I will keep an open mind and choose not to believe this gossip though for it has some holes. But overall, I think it would be handled internally and Esteban won’t get benched. For even if you read the news many agreed that benching him would be stupid and only created bad headlines.
