why aren't there more mysteries that take place in nursing homes & retirement communities. i want to watch a group of deranged retirees-cum-amateur-detectives combine their powers of:
decades of life experience
boredom-fueled busybody shamelessness
access to the most gossipy next-door-neighbors in existence
"I am too old to be arrested and/or give a shit" attitude
and solve crimes. this should be an enormous subgenre.

Thinking about how Daniel made the photo of him with Pierre and Patrick as the first image in that dump. He couldāve made it the helmet swap with Oscar, a group photo, or the 3 on the garage floor. Any of those probably wouldāve made more sense from an engagement or aesthetic standpoint. But no he specifically chose a candid moment with the two guys who were with him every second he was in that car. Two guys who would be relatively unknown to the casual fan, but who were integral to Daniel and shared the ups and downs of this journey with him.
#woke up and remembered that post and this was the first thing I thought about#when you think about the race engineers Daniel has had in his career obviously Simon stands tall at the front#but it really felt like the connection he had with Pierre was a real renaissance back to that same level of just getting each other#they still definitely had their moments where they were figuring it out but I really feel like they were building such a strong partnership#they clearly enjoyed each other and there was so much more potential there#all this to say#Iām glad he was able to build those connections again and find people who just GOT him you know?#Iāll never forget Pierre barking on the radio with him#or the enchante or the Iām boiling for you mate!#it was good#they were good

rimi mamawasatesttube do you have any opinions on possible jobs for tim š¤ i have been thinking on it and coming up with nothing but i know in my heart heās not a business man
DO I EVER!!!!!
there are two tracks i see this man ever pursuing and it's a) tinkerer/mechanic/gadget guy or b) investigative journalist after lois lane's own heart.
with option A it's easy to keep him in the bat scene and quite possibly involved with wayne enterprises even - just move him to the r&d department. put him in a garage. give him some machines to take apart and put back together again. he will be SO enriched and so happy. he would be MISERABLE in an office job, but this? a car autistic in his natural habitat. this man LOVES engineering. let him design batmobile upgrades for a living please please please pleaaaase
option B is a little more of a stretch, and i know the knee jerk reaction is "for the love of god dc has enough journalists" which is TRUE, but hear me out. his nosy fucking ass, okay. this guy would LOVE the lois lane playbook of "just straight up fucking lie and pretend to work here to get snippets of tantalizing information about where to look next to uncover a greater mystery". @loisinherlane once talked to me about the idea of tim interning with (and absolutely infuriating) vicki vale, who knows he's got secrets tied to the bats but canNOT get proof and is going to pull her hair out about it. plus i think it's fun because tim is a character who is really good at thinking about truth vs lies and everything in between. thematically it feels pretty fitting for him, a guy who notoriously can't keep his nose out of other people's business, to make a career out of being a snoop <3
#answers#lemonlimestar#to me a tim career needs to involve either snooping or engineering. these are his two greatest passions#i can see other occupations that also involve snooping and/or tinkering as options altho these two are my personal favs#but the second anyone posits a tim career that does not involve either being a busybody or the possibility of building a car. youve lost me#tim

Promoted to the upper band of Senior Engineer
#chrissy speaks#to ramble in the tags a little#uh all the titles have like a lower level and an upper level#and the title above senior is principal#whiiich... id estimate maybe 30% of engineers ever make principal?#thats including manager so like. for non-managers. maybe 20%?#anyway the point being that most engineer tap out their career inside senior#either lower or upper band#and even the really good engineers i know who made principal quickly#still had like 3-4 years between making senior and making principal#and i made senior last year#so i was expecting at LEAST a 2 year gap between making senior and making upper band#was not expecting to make upper band with such quick turn around...#so im now one level below principal#wahoo
