John Price who feels self-conscious thinking you like Soap more because of your similar personalities.

Soap and you are a tumultuous pair, feeding off each other’s energy, you’re good friends, you hang out together just the two of you. He’s not jealous, especially not of Johnny, but he does feel a pang of self-consciousness at times, feels bad about not being able to keep up with you sometimes, about not being enough. He wouldn’t share those thoughts with you, more of an inside thing, he feels silly. Of course those doubts melt away as soon as you’re telling him about how your day went, about how much you missed him, about what reminded you of him. All the possible doubts he had leaving as he gets showered with kisses.

John Price who just stands and watches when you get the zoomies.

A sudden burst of energy has you walking up and down the house following John around, jumping from topic to topic to the latest song lyrics or idle dance move stuck in your head. He watches in amusement and tries to engage in your jumping conversation.

John Price who falls asleep during your late night yapping and still responds with nonsense answers while asleep.

“-And yeah apparently emus can’t walk backwards, don’t you think that's weird? How can an animal just not do that?” Your before-bed rant has been going on for longer than usual, inspired by a Wikipedia rabbit hole that still lingers in your phone’s history.

“Does Laswell know?” He mumbles.

“About emus?”

John Price who’s reluctant to lay on top of you if you ask. 

“Please, please, please it’ll feel good!”

“Love, I’d crush you.” He had gotten you a weighted blanket for this exact reason. “Ain’t the blanket enough?”

“No! Because the blanket’s cold and you’re so much better better!” He’s reluctant, your puppy eyes are working overtime getting him to agree, which he does, of course. 

John Price who just sighs and plays along when you ask him to wrestle you.

In your defense, it' was's a good way to get rid of extra energy or help while understimulated. He’s currently got you in the loosest headlock he can manage while you kick and thrash. 

“Are you tired yet?” No answer comes, just more kicking that makes him release you.

As you try to attack him again, John effortlessly picks you up and throws you on the bed, which earns him a fit of giggles followed by an attempt to tackle him that ends you back in bed.

John Price who comforts you if you ever think you’re too much for him.

Big tears are coming down your eyes and wetting your face, you couldn’t pinpoint where all these feelings came from. You’ve got your face against his chest, voice shaking as you explain how you feel.

“I’m just a lot, you know? And I need you all the time and you like being alone and i want to give you space and I try, but I’m too much and-”

“Okay love, c’mon, none of that.” He cut you off after probably the thirtieth ‘and’. “We need what we need, and we work ‘round that all the time, don’t we? You’re not too much, you’re good just the way you are.”

John Price who lets you use him as a human fidget.

You’ve been waiting in this queue for no more than 5 minutes and it’s still getting you impatient, he notices, of course. The rapid looking-around, your foot tapping are all tell-tale signs of it. He extends his hand to you, which you take, and begin fidgeting with his digit and gloves, it keeps you well occupied, concentrated in the repetitive moments as time passes.

rui facts that are common knowledge atp but i just feel like repeating

hates vegetables because of their texture, and dislikes anything that has similar texture to certain vegetables. example: he hates watermelon because apparently to him the texture is just like a cucumber's? he's not very fond of many fruits either, albeit he dislikes them less than vegetables

only eats at places he's a regular at and becomes distressed when the menu changes. he picks off all vegetables from his food and sometimes emu helps him and eats anything he doesn't like

preferred rivers and lakes over pools as a kid. he would search for shiny rocks and the like in these rivers and lakes and show nene his discoveries

he owned many encyclopedias as a kid. one of them being one about poisonous plants. it had a bright red cover that scared nene LMAO but he read it over and over so now he can recognize which plants are poisonous or not

favourite animal is the platypus because he finds the fact that they are egg-laying mammals interesting

owns three monitors. has a tablet (owned this tablet since he was a kid) and a phone

horrible at packing! he's always thinking about worst case scenarios and possible hypotheticals that could occur during his travels, causing him to overpack and not use half of the things he brings. he mentions that this was the case when he went to america with wxs, and he struggled with the same problem when he was trying to pack for his kyoto trip in pandemonium

his favourite show he performed with wxs was the little mermaid. the show that made him feel the most nervous was a pianist named torpe, and the show that left the strongest impression on him was the one tsukasa performed with the others to convince him to join wxs again

dislikes cleaning because he finds it pointless when his room just becomes cluttered again sooner or later

worst sleep schedule known to man. has been scolded by wxs for coming to rehearsal with horrible eye bags

he people watches a lot. very observant of his environment and uses anything that catches his attention as inspiration for shows and other stories. this can be seen in island panic, where he makes up an entire possible conversation between three monkeys he was observing and in the area convo where he views students fighting to buy bread at the tuck shop as a metaphor for human nature and survival

his role model and inspiration is a director named tom gray! he watched interviews of him and read his books over and over

enjoyer of sci-fi

eats his taiyaki by first splitting it in half to avoid burning his mouth with the hot bean paste. interestingly enough, it is said in japan that the first bite you take in taiyaki determines your personality. rui breaks his taiyaki first before eating, making him a "person of action."

he deepened his interest for shows as a kid by imagining how he would adapt his favourite books into stage productions

there's a specific stool in his room that has remained since his childhood. also an orange box of toys(?) It seems

on the other hand, several aspects of his childhood room have changed: his lampshades are in the shapes of flowers now, his couch is patched up in blue, and he has multiple streamers and balloons. the balloons have little faces on them btw. he also installed a clock. the step ladder near his bookshelf is gone too from what i can see

ok that's all i can think of from the top of my head, hopefully none of these are incorrect,, i'll be very sad if something is wrong. if you know any fun rui facts that aren't listed above PLEASE enlighten me

Ok this one's more hurt/comfort-ish than my last one

Tsukasa's first creation in terms of script writing and song is actually a really scuffy lullaby made when Saki first felt really bad in the hospital after THE show (the one that made Tsukasa want to become a star).

Tsukasa decided to put on his first self-made show with a song specially for her.

When Toya first came to them upset (specifically the "Never Give Up Cooking!" Flashback), Tsukasa puts on the exact same show for him as well. In his logic, it's because of how well it worked for Saki, but in a more outsider's sense, it's a Tenma initiation. Toya has no escape now. He's stuck as a Tenma.

While the song is really REALLY awkward and scuffed (he's literally a pre-tween leave him be), it becomes a staple between the three.

Eventually, as they grow up, the song does get less awkward with some tweeks in lyrics, rhythm, etc.

It was a bonding moment between them as well, song-writing together. It helped both Saki and Toya discover their absolute love for creating, just like how the song was Tsukasa's first step to creation.

It became a habit for Tsukasa to at least hum it to them when they're cuddling, or when he's comforting them. Toya came running from home and needs a place to stay? He runs his hands through his hair while voicing out the melody. Saki's gets a sudden hit of separation anxiety? She hears the faintest hum coming from her brother, who doesn't mind at all that she's clinging onto him so hard.

This results is both Saki and Toya humming the song whenever they're stressed. Saki sometimes get scolded in the middle of the test for humming (she didn't even realised she started). VBS silently wonders about the melody Toya sings before shows.

There's an area conversation between Emu, Tsukasa and Kaito, where Emu asks Kaito if the flowers always sing the same song. Kaito responds "No, they sing other songs. But they like to sing this one. This song you're always hearing is a song very special to Tsukasa" (or something along those lines). And Tsukasa snaps his finger and went "oh, so that's why it sounded familiar!"

Yeah. Yeah it's this lullaby.

Tsukasa has a bunch of blank memories from his childhood because of how often he suppressed his emotions,

(Fun fact! Suppressing so much emotions can cause amnesia! A really funny thing considering Tsukasa is canonically really forgetful <3)

But this lullaby is the biggest constant thing from his memories. Basically an anchor that his childhood was actually his if that makes sense.

Saki has separation anxiety due to being ripped away from everything she knew at a young age, and while she thinks she doing better now, she still gets a sudden hit of it randomly.

Days like these, she either asks Leo/Need to hang out, or ask Tsukasa or Toya if she could go with them to practice

The first time the entirety of VBS (-Akito since he's met her earlier) meet Saki, they're majorly confused on why she's there. They're also super confused on why this girl keeps glaring at Akito when Toya's not looking.

Emu is absolutely ECSTATIC that Saki's there. Nene and Rui seem to think having her there offers some sort of improvement too. (Rui's trying to get in her good graces)

looking at emukasa middle birthday fanarts made me realize something and that something is: fes emukasa is like the perfect emukasa for me (aside of the canon emks, obviously. nothing's topping them) (and this is not an inherently romantic post i just wanted to ramble about them)

sorry i know it's been a few months since their fes came out i should just let it go but i just can't get over the fact these outfits/cards were so criticized for being plain and simple while this is the thing that makes them so good. they look nothing like, for example, shiho's or an's fes cards, which are full of vibrant colors and are interesting to look at, they're basically quite the opposite of who emukasa are on a daily basis and this is the sole thing that is making them pretty. because they show off their soft side that is sometimes overshadowed by how flashy and colorful their usual cards are.

and when you pair them together, they look like the purest form of softness — and that's precisely what emukasa's relationship is. it is what the entire wxs' relationship is, obviously, but it just hits differently with emukasa: because they are two energetic and full of life characters who managed to find a soft solace in each other's presence, who, despite their differences, trust each other so much and around the other person can just be themselves. it's also reflected in the canon by how their relationship evolved from the start of main story through the climax in our happy ending to basically today, how they are more and more in love with each other with every second — whether you think of it as romantic or not.

and fes emukasa feels like coming home after a long day, like falling right into the embrace of your loved one, like sun shining at you when you two are laughing with tears in your eyes, because this is what they are to each other, right? they both know that they are each other's safe place and that they changed their lives for the better because of their meeting. fes emukasa feels like emu thanking tsukasa for helping her save wonder stage and tsukasa thanking emu for inviting him to wxs all over again, because that was when their softness was at its peak. when their vulnerability is at its peak, because they are equally vulnerable on their fes cards.

fes emukasa is their essence and how soft their wishes actually were from the very start, so no matter how good some other costumes were — no matter how fun it is to throw wedding emu and white day tsukasa into fantasy setting, no matter how interesting it is to rewrite the peter pan story based on their amidst a dream costumes — it is them that speak to me the most, even if for most people they are way too simple to be considered fes cards. even if all emu's doing is standing in front of the open gate, ready to go forward.

even if all tsukasa's doing is eating a toast.

Tsukasa Tenma:

~ hes very loud and eccentric and multiple characters say he is annoying

~ He's an extremely loud theater kid who wants to be a world famous star. Anytime he's on screen he'll yell very loudly at least once. Most other characters have an 'oh... it's him.." moment whenever they see him. Others try (and fail) to avoid him so they don't get caught in his antics. He's a loser and the fandom loves him for it.

~ he's a theater kid who is 100% determined to become the Number 1 World Future Star!!! with absolutely zero volume control who is constantly screaming and laughing at the top of his lungs, to the point where you can hear him from pretty much anywhere in the school. several of his friends (who still love him) and random background characters talk about finding him annoying and intrusive at several points in the story. he's a genuinely really sweet guy who is mainly just putting up a front to hide his insecurities but also the man is constantly reciting a mantra that's just him telling you what his name means. also one time he tried to comfort a crying kid at a theme park by screaming his name at her in english (which he does not speak) and just wound up making her cry harder which tells you pretty much all you need to know

~ He is canonically so loud, like helicopter blades whirling levels of loud. He does not know when to shut up, and is just all around, annoying!!

~ generally very loud, overconfident, little self awareness of how silly he is. consistently found annoying by some characters (ie akito, nene, shiho) and can overwhelm others with his intensity at times

~ he is a very loud and slightly obnoxious theatre kid!! although he is a good person deep down, he's constantly bragging about becoming the world's greatest star. one of his close friends, kamishiro rui (not blonde), makes a lot of drones and robots and often brings them to school, causing quite a bit of chaos that tsukasa inevitably gets roped into. the two of them are referred to as the "weirdo wombo combo" (among other names, depending on the translation) and are found particularly annoying by the character shinonome akito, who mostly tolerates him just because they have a close mutual friend. outside of school, tsukasa works part time as a performer in a theme park, along with characters otori emu, kusanagi nene, and the aforementioned kamishiro rui. nene finds his antics very annoying, and regularly wears noise-canceling headphones just to drown out his voice. she also makes fun of him a lot, but it's all in good fun; they're actually very good friends. tsukasa can sometimes be annoyingly overprotective over his younger sister, saki, mostly because she has had health issues all her life and spent years in and out of the hospital. so although he means well, even she finds him annoying on occasion. not to mention he talks to himself, rehearses monologues, and paces around his room quite a lot. i love the guy but i'd hate to live in the same house as him too. most of this can be summed up by saying that he just gives off immense amounts of theatre kid energy, and if you've ever known a theatre kid during tech week or right after a show, you get somewhat of an idea of what tsukasa's peers have to deal with on a regular basis. and i love him dearly

~ He’s so loud and boisterous and cocky and dramatic that a decent chunk of the other characters actively describe him as annoying or loud. He’s a really good guy, he really is, he’s a great big brother and a nice dude, but unless you’re on his wavelength or a compatible wavelength, he’s completely fucking insufferable.

~ He is LOUD. SO VERY LOUD. The entire school he goes to knows who he is (maybe not by name, but as that-one-guy-who-never-stops-screaming) and will roll their eyes when they see him approach. He's a theater kid also if that wasn't bad enough. And stupid as hell. Ridiculous. I love him so much

~ He's extremely confident and almost always posing and/or screaming. Characters frequently comment on how loud or over the top he is and several characters make a point to try to avoid him when they see him out in public.

~ he's a loud, exuberant, overdramatic theater kid!!! 90% of the time he is shouting and loves to just strike poses whenever he can! tends to overreact and many many characters regard him as loud and annoying but he also has a really big heart and cares a lot about his loved ones and he also expresses that fact very VERY loudly. he's so STUPID (affectionate)

i think a lot of people who are aware of Shane sort of just think of him as the skeptic guy on bfu/ghost files (not saying that’s u obv just a lot of ppl bc I guess I need this to be a pitch meeting) and I think that is a shame because HOLY SHIT HES SO TALENTED AND COOL AND WEIRD AND THE SHIT HE MAKES IS SO FUCKIKNG INSANELY GOOD

Ok so going back in time for a second to b*zzfeed. Who btw did not deserve this guy. Afaik he had two major like, creative projects on there. Ruining History and The Hot Daga. Both were very good. ruining history was a fun history show he did with Sara and Ryan and there are rotating guests every episode. Shane is very interested in history, very good at teaching history, and i think in an alternate universe hes a beloved high school history teacher. Ruining History is the father of puppet history. B*zzfeed canned it and i miss it every day. and then there’s the other father of Puppet History, Hot Daga. Hot Daga is insane. I love Hot Daga, its not for everyone, but I think its so good. The lore goes crazy, he produced and made original songs for it, he animated the whole final half season by himself which is fuckinf insane. He made a ballad for it and actually i need everyone reading this to Listen to “believe me maizey” and then directly after listen to the Meteor Ballad from Puppet History. OH LOOK A SEGWAY

Puppet history is so fuckinf good. Its So Good. And especially in later seasons since hes doing so much you really start to see his improvement as an artist and its just. Its incredible. Some of the somgs are genuinely fucking masterpieces, like some of my favs are The Flower Boat Song, Asmodeus, The Horse and God song, the Emu song, Big Pile Of Diamonds, Infinitiger, The Window Song, Gay Oars Duet, Hologram Professor Song, and the Meteor’s Ballad. And more. Uhh OH the Olympic Torch is really good too. His lyrics are so smart and fun and his vocals are so impressive and he has such good range, he duetted Himself for the Oar song and managed to make the two voices identifiable as separate characters without being over the top. The lyrics range from poetic anf beautiful to weird and funny often within the Same song! Its just so good and he starts so good and gradually over the years he’s done the show you can see him getting more comfortable and better at music which is crazy causw again HE STARTED OFF GOOD! HE WAS INSANE IN HOT DAGA AND HE IS SOMEHOW EVEN BETTER IN PUPPET HISTORY LIKE! and and and ok here’s where I get crazy and a little parasocial (lol not really i am misusing that word for the bit LOL)

Something about all his work is that you can kind of see how his art depicts the world. In Hot Daga you get the line “what else can you do in the face of such monumental loss, but breath a weary sigh as the world is a little quieter now.” And in Puppet history you get uh actually you get like 20 things from the meteor song but one of my favorite parts is (read blue as the professor, orange as the meteor, pink as both) “some shit’s just etched into the stars, calamities you cant outrun/and when sweet earth we finally meet/the sky will burn and boil the sea/as mountains rend/its you and me.” i think both these lyrics and these somgs demonstrate a maturity about the world that you dont really see in a lot of people, his general kindness towards anything and everything and his ability to change perspectives on things without being forceful. (On a personal note I listened to The Meteor song after someone I knew passed, and as dumb as it maybe sounds the idea that like,, death is not cruel, you can’t always run and sometimes the best thing you can do is be there with the people you love as the world ends.) and also I think that you really can tell that he views the people he’s telling you about as People and not just like, figures. Ykwim. He shows such genuine respect and care for everyone in these stories and I’ve already like briefly in these stories but like, you KNOW if a guy can make me cry for the Meteor that killed the dinosaurs then he’s something special. i also think the way he portrays death in his work is very comforting as a whole. and another thing speakinf of rhat is that he has so much respect for other cultures in a level I think that goes beyond just bare minimum not being a piece of shit. Like especially when he’s teaching history, an example that always sticks out to me is how much effort he put into making sure people remembered and thought about Hatshepsut by having a whole episode on her history then also making an EXTREMELY (probably intentionally so though i cant be sure bc I can’t reas minds) catchy song that Told you to think of Hatshepsut and explained Why uou should think of Hatshepsut and it’s been stuck in my head ever since I first heard it years ago. Also I’m consistently impressed by his good pronunciation of things, I remember in the Tunguska event episode of mystery files there were so many ppl from tbe area he was talking about shocked by how good his pronunciation was. And ive seen that so many times w him like, idk i just think thats very cool. He’s a genuinely really mature and respectful guy I think. Wise too. So much of his work has educated me, changed my worldview for the better, inspired me. Like He’s so talented ik i keep saying that but HE IS!

Like ok so. He can write both songs and stories beautifully. he’s wise as fuck and could probably be a philosopher. He can make puppets (and just tbc later season puppet history the puppets are not him, but in the early seasons afaik they were all him, so he is definitely skilled at that.), he can sing, he can voice act, his graphics and editing are off the charts, he’s educated and smart, hes funny. He’s so fuckinf cool.

also again getting parasocial here but I just really like how much of a zest for life the guy seems to have. And Honestly im impressed that he worked in retail, had actual trash thrown in his face by an angry customer (true story) and still came out it like “man the world sure is wonderful!”. What a guy. And He’s so fucking weird and interesting and I could seriously just listen to him rant about Literally anything Forever. Anything. It doesnt matter I think he could talk about anything in a way that would make me invested in it and i’d come out of it more educated than before with a fresh new perspective on life.

Honami Mochizuki Tickle HCs

It's exactly what it says on the tin, folks; A collection of fluffy tickle headcanons all centered around my personal favorite favorite apple pie enthusiast. Enjoy.

She'd definitely be a switch, with a very slight lee lean. 

To her, tickling is in an INCREDIBLY vulnerable and personal (but not inherently romantic) thing, so she'd have to be super comfortable with anyone she's doing it with

As a ler, she's an absolute SWEETHEART 

She most often tickles the rest of L/n and sometimes her little brother, but will also go for Kanade if she asks, or Emu if she's clearly trying to initiate it. 

She would constantly be checking in on the lee and asking to make sure they're still having fun.

Is very gentle and caring, especially with teasing. Her teasing is less intentional teasing, and more so genuine complements and affirmations that can't help fill her head at the moment. 

Kind of to the tune of "Goodness honey, your laugh is so pretty. You're doing so well. Keep laughing, just like that for me. Thank you so much for trusting me so much"

Her tickles are just as soft and sweet too.

Unlike her guitarist bandmates, as a drummer, her nails are allowed to get a little long. I like to think she generally keeps them flush with her fingertips, which makes them perfect for scribbling. 

Scribbles and kisses are her two favorite methods to use, though she gets a little shy about the second one. She'd have to be really close with the lee to initiate any kind of mouth tickles.

Very very much loves cuddling with lees. Her ideal situation would be spooning up close with them and scribbling and tracing their belly and whispering into their ear about how cute they are.

For this reason: she gives the BEST relaxation/sleepytime tickles. 

She doesn’t really actively want or initiate tickle fights. She'll participate if dragged asked, but really she loves giving her entire attention to her lee/receiving a ler's entire attention. She can get overwhelmed pretty easily if she has to focus on both. 

Also doesn't really surprise others with tickles. She worries a lot about if the lee really wants it, so she will ALWAYS ask.

It's sweet that she cares, but it gets embarrassing to have to tell her "Yes I would really like to be tickled right now." Every. Single. Time.

This especially bothers Shiho, which Honami finds adorable.

In a bad ler mood, she flusters HERSELF trying to ask for permission.

Saki gets incredibly cocky teasing her because of it; crop tops, feet across Honami's lap, stretching, the whole nine yards until Honami finally breaks and asks because even if blatantly provoked, she refuses without explicit verbal permission. 

Flustered ler Honami can be dangerous. All that built up need to make someone laugh tends to come out as swift, unrelenting scribbling. 

Her favorite form of aftercare is cuddling her lees and, if available, giving them homemade food and a cold glass of water, no matter if they're completely out of it, or just a little giggly.

At the end of the day, ultimately she's happy with whatever makes the lee happy. 

She lives for being able to make the people she loves smile and wind down, it makes her feel so fuzzy and accomplished. 

Lee Honami is just as sweet though 

Just like the way she gives, she has a major preference for receiving very gentle tickles; doesn't really like being made to laugh to the point of screaming or making it strenuous to talk. 

Her most ticklish spot would have to be her feet or her thighs.

As alluded to earlier, she can't handle much on either spot, even one or two fingers can have her brain completely shot. 

I also think she's a little chubby and more than a little insecure about it. The obvious solution is cheer up tummy tickles

Cheeks are surprisingly sensitive

Kisses there get her BAD, much to the delight of any romantic partner(s)

If her hair isn't tied out of the way, it can brush up against her cheeks, making her all giggly and smiley for "no reason" 

She'd never admit it but she will sometimes leave her hair untied for expressly that purpose.

She's just very ticklish in general.

Doesn't squirm at all when tickled. Her whole body relaxes and she really just sits back and lets herself enjoy it. 

She'll kick a little if you get her really bad, but it's more of a result of having too much bubbly energy rather than trying to fight/get away.

If she trusts someone enough to let them tickle her, she knows she won't be pushed past any limits she doesn't want to, so why not let loose?

That does not, however, mean she has an easy time asking for it when she wants it. She's far from Shiho's level of "bad at asking" but it definitely takes some time and coaxing.

Any kind of teasing involving anything like "the tickle monster is gonna get youuu~" makes her absolutely lose her mind in the best way possible. She both loves and is terrified of the tickle monster. 

The idea of a being whose sole purpose is to make her lose herself in laughter is so so so flustering to her. 

When they were little, Tsukasa used to chase all of Leo/need around the house while making growling monster noises and wiggling his fingers, and Honami would try to hide behind curtains or the couch, but her anticipation giggles would give her away every single time. 

Other than Saki herself of course, Honami is secretly his favorite one of his sister's friends, in no small part due to that memory.

Her chin and jaw are probably her favorite spots.

Hold her face and gently tickle and she MELTS. 

When she's all happy and melty, she gets very honest and has a very hard time holding back, meaning any thought that goes into her head comes right out her mouth. People who know her well have learned to expect a steady stream of complements and about a thousand "I love you"'s 

She is predominantly tickled by Saki, Ichika, and Emu. Shiho gets shy about it, but will if directly asked (by either Honami herself or another L/n member helping out)

Tickling is a good way for the ones she loves to comfort, reassure her, and get her out of her own head and she loves everything about being so helpless and cared for.

"Hey, you don't look well" Nene sat beside you, with a really concerned look on her face. After all that time of being game buddies and having sessions together, she could tell little differences that gave away your state of mind.

You could do the same for her.

"I guess I am not well, ha" "......" "Can I... help somehow?..." "Sadly, no"

She bit her bottom lip, looking down.

"Actually,-" she shock her gaze towards you "-maybe, a hug... and cuddles" Nene was a little embarassed at the sudden confession, but managed to overcome the shyness in order to make you feel better, at least a little.

She shifted her position a little and wrapped her arms around you, giving you a side hug. She could hear you make a satisfied noise, followed by you leaning head on top of hers.

You stayed like this for a while, until Nene felt your hands lifting her up.

"Eh?-"

"Cuddles"

Was all you muttered as you sat her in front of you, wrapping your arms around hers and buring your face in her back, rubbing a little your nose into her hair.

Under other circumstances, she would have protested, clearly embarassed, at the sudden action of you lifting her to bring her to your lap.

Instead, she was just embarassed.

Even with Emu, she was not used to this kind affection. It seemed too... intimate. Her feelings towards you being kind of fuzzy sometimes didn't help her case, either

"...sorry for this so suddenly" You said, face still against Nene's back, refusing to let her see your face.

"It's fine..." She could not complain about the fact that you weren't seeing each other's faces right now. Her face was burning hot. The lack of visual contact allowed her to be able to exchange little touches, too.

She caressed your hands lightly with her fingertips, a little hesitant at first. Her body visibly relaxed when you accepted the touches, getting a little more confident, she brought her other hand to the side of your head, which was buried on the back of her neck. You leaned in as soon as you felt the touch.

Nene was the one making a satisfied noise now.

Maybe this wasn't so bad.

She could get used to it.

Valentines Day Ship HC, part five!! Time for the clowns WxS ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝

As always, a reminder: Polyshow is a QPR, Ruikasa are dating romantically.

I mentioned this in Leo/needs Ship HC post, Rui made a jar that was full of indoor date ideas, such as watching a movie, playing games (both video games and board/card games), baking/cooking together, etc.

He made it after realizing how often his boyfriend and QPPs needed a more private place where they could calm down and relax, what with Tsukasa often overworking himself, Emu needing either one on one time together or just a calm quiet place, and Nene needing a safe space whenever her anxiety acts up or she just feels overwhelmed about things.

Little does he know, Tsukasa, Emu, and Nene all add things to the jar for Rui, knowing how he will sometimes get too far deep in his thoughts and will need the reassurance that they're still there. That they won't leave him.

It also just....helps to have the jar for like, ya know, weather reasons (*cough*Ruikasa'sfirstdate*cough *)

Rui and Tsukasa go on daily dates. Usually it's just them having lunch together, but they enjoy their time together.

Nene and Tsukasa will often be the ones to plan out dates. They talk about when Tsukasa and Rui will have solo dates, when it'll be either of them and either just her and/or Emu, and when the four of them will have dates.

Group dates are usually reserved for the weekend, but if anyone in the troupe notices one of them is feeling down, doesn't matter what day it is, comfort date begins ASAP.

Emu loves cuddling whenever they watch movies. It could be all four of them or just her and, let's say, Nene. She's going to cuddling up to their side. :)

Rui likes resting his head on top of Tsukasa's whenever he's working on costume designs.

I mentioned this in WxS Pride Month HC post, but Nene isn't into romance. She doesn't like it. She can feel it, she just isn't a fan of dating or PDA.

Nene can tolerate when anyone in WxS's QPR does something affectionate for her, but can't accept it from anyone else (and yes I am talking outside immediate family like parents and siblings).

Tsukasa often feels like he has to prove he's worthy of a relationship. He just doesn't want a repeat of when the troupe began and how fast it fell apart.

Emu is the first to be aware whenever one of her partners is feeling down. Sometimes she's able to help them right away, but sometimes she can't, in which case she'll call for backup.

Rui and Nene enjoy time together when it's just the two of them. Nene will sometimes ask Rui about his relationship with Tsukasa, and Rui will often ask about her plans for the future. They just like talking to each other.

Rui and Tsukasa are very much into PDA. They don't mind making their relationship known by holding hands and sharing kisses and just being pressed together.

To make it up to him anytime one or both of them have detention, Rui has begun making Tsukasa quick little cards where he doodles himself, Tsukasa, or both of them together, alongside an "I'm sorry I got myself/you/us into detention :(" or a "Sorry school jail took away our date time :(" (etc.)

Tsukasa finds them amusing, and will often do the same by making an extra portion in his bento for Rui.

If you're wondering, yes, Tsukasa keeps every little card Rui makes him.

Emu can lift Nene up and will often do it after rehearsals.

Emu has tried lifting Tsukasa and Rui, but she can't get them go up beyond standing on tip toes.

If this question is about which characters I think have the best vocals: I think rui is my favorite but I also really like akito/haruka/nene/mizuki/saki/ichika/an/ena.

If it’s about the best covers (not counting commissioned songs the list would get too long): ikanaide (<- PEAK. First pjsk song added to my music library. The versions on YouTube without miku are even better*), shoujo rei, At God’s mercy, mizuki’s Charles alt, rui’s as you like it alt (all of his alts are good that one’s just a favorite), nene’s racing into the night alt, ifuudoudou, akito’s airhead and fragile alts (his airhead alt is. So good.) are a few off the top of my head.

*I said no commissioned songs but I feel obligated to take this opportunity to say colopale was so evil for giving like half of salamander to miku when it would have been so much better w just akito/ena. I love miku but sometimes less is more. Look @ Cosmospice.

19. Favorite cards

Constraining myself to just wxs bc of the image limit. And also I’m biased so most of them would have been wxs anyways.

Absolute favorite card. Emunene real. If I have to spark for this and destroy my savings for wxs world link I will be so mad but I will do it.

Emu cards are always so good… I don’t think I can pull for Sanrio emu though despite it being one of my favorites (devastating) (saving for wxs world link). A shout out to her untrained Phoenix card & Torpe card too… they’re so cute.

Rui also has rlly good cards I think his cyber punk card is probably in my top 10 (also can’t pull for it) and his white day card… ough the lighting/pose/composition (still mad I couldn’t pull for that)

These untraineds are favorites just because they make me giggle. Tsukasa in a crisis is Always Hysterical (also why I like his untrained Phoenix/3rd year/doll festival* cards) but I think I’ve said [insert untrained pandemonium card] while talking abt tsukasa 100 times (which I got from you) because it’s never not funny. The gokart card is just really cute I love rui’s dumb expression and the fact that he’s too goddamn tall for this ride/the pure joy on emu’s face as she turns her car directly into rui presumably in an attempt to run him off the road (I support it). But the best part of it is 100% nene being a girl failure in the back like how did you fuck up so badly. Do not let her behind the wheel of a car ever. The expression of gamer rage on her face… her mario kart skills did not transfer over… she’s pissed. 10/10.

*Doll festival card gets an extra shout out. Why is rui there. He’s not in the side stories at all. The implication that he either 1) saw tsukasa acting like the world was ending and just went “not my problem” and walked away or 2) went to go eat lunch with him and walked in on him with his head in his hands having a capital c Crisis & had to deal with that is so funny.

I'm going to take this as a invitation to rant about them bc I have so many Thoughts on them (I'm so sorry)

First thing

(warning:all caps) HARUKA?????? LIKE THE MOMENT SHE STARTED SINGING MY JAWS DROPPED. SHE SOUNDED GORJEOUS. I REPEATED TIMESTAMP 1:28 SO MANY TIMES I HAD LITERALLY ASCENDED. RUI TOO AT 0:33 THAT WAS AMAZING. AKITO'S GROWL WAS SO GOOD. AND THE ART IS SO PRETTY THE LIGHTING THE OUTFITS THE VOCALS THE HARUKA (I really like haruka idk if you can tell). THIS WHOLE COVER HAD ME STARING AT MY SCREEN IN SHOCK. 17382947193728/10

Oughh this song...this might be my NayutalieP bias showing by this was ADORABLE. The little chibis were amazing. They really just added some of the best characters and had them sing one of the best songs in the game. The one thing that stuck out the most to me was the MIXING OMG. They all blended so well and Emu/Mizuki's vocals had me ascended. Those little symbols that represented each character was so cute (count pearl and Kohane...). I know a lot of people wasn't a big fan of the devil manners and alien alien covers but honestly their definitely my top 3.

Honestly at first I had kinda mixed feelings about this. But then I listened to it and omg. Yes. The mv is my favorite, besides maybe the Alien Alien one. I never knew I needed Toyamino in my life before this. Honestly I was never a big fan of booo, especially the MMJ cover (I'm sorry 😔) but this cover is just. Yes. Minori's chibi was so cute and THE OUTFITS??? Yeah definitely a fav.

Man, I have so many feelings about this. I love Setsuna Trip so I can't really bring myself to really hate it. Shiho absolutely ate and left no crumbs. Airi slayed just as hard in this as in the original minoairi cover. I love how everyone yells "Hah? More guitar!" I saw that some people really disliked Kanade in this but I don't think she sounded too bad! Her voice was sometimes drowned out by the music and the other voices sometimes though...but she really harmonized well with Airi and Shiho. The art and MV is so bright and flashy it makes me feel like I'm at a disco party. Kinda reminded me of an anime opening lol. Overall I think this cover was a bop

Honestly I have no really strong feelings about this. I mean Honami sounded so angelic in this and everyone harmonized so well. This was one of the rare times where the Vocaloid actually mixed really well with the others. The MV is definitely my favorite (besides maybe Devil's Manners). The art is so pretty (Mafuyu my beloved) and the purple lighting??? Yeah I'll take this. No strong opinions I just think it's really pretty. Would sleep to this.

They really just took my favorite characters and Vocaloid and made them sing one of my favorite songs. This entire cover was targeted to me. The strong vocals really made the chorus Pop Out. They all sounded so pretty please SEGA release a full version it would be a crime to not. Also the mv made all my girls look GORGEOUS. I love how dynamic(?) it is (lots of motion, idk what's the word for that). Amazing. My skin is clear. My crops are watered. My grades are up. I have 20/20 vision. The sun is shining. And it's all thanks to this cover.

A quick story I needed to get off my brain dhsjajd

Pairing: Rui Kamishiro x Nene Kusanagi (Implied Emukasa)

Just a story I wanted to write for fun.

Genre: Fluff

Another successful show for Wonderlands×Showtime! Emu sweeps the floor, except she misses the dustpan entirely. Tsukasa sighs as he watches the girl make an even bigger mess than before they started. “Seriously Emu, you make such a mess sometimes.” He still couldn’t help but smile watching her. Rui and Nene were putting back the props and sets from the earlier show.

Rui is wearing his usual smirk, carrying all the lighter objects while Nene on the other hand, is dealing with the heavier ones. “Need help carrying those, Nene?” He asked, lightly chuckling at her struggle. She heard him and pouted slightly. “No, it’s.. alright.” Her voice was slightly strained. Why’d they use such heavy materials for their performance today? She regrets declining his help. She was practically hauling it over.

Nene sighs gives in and stops in her tracks. Rui turns around and faces her. He tilted his head, still smirking. “Actually.. I take it back… I could use some help..” Her arms felt like they could give out at any moment, they were like jelly right about now. Rui had other ideas. He felt the need to tease his crush his best friend after all. “Oh I don’t know anymore, Nene. I feel hurt.” He dramatically put his hand over his eyes, pretending to be sad and offended. Nene was not impressed.

“Rui.. can you just help..?” Nene sighed, barely hanging onto the props box. Rui chuckled before setting down the lighter props, and taking the heavier ones from Nene’s hands. “I’ll take them.. for something in return.” He glanced at Nene, seductively staring at her like an idiot. They set the props down into its corner. Nene wiped her brow and rolled down her sleeves. “Thanks Rui.. hm?”

She felt a large shadow cast over her. Rui was standing in front of her, waiting for something. What was he waiting for? Why is he looking at her like that? “I took the props. Now for the thing I want in return..” Rui pretended to think about what he wanted. He knew exactly what he wanted. Nene tapped her shoulder impatiently.

How come he can’t he just tell me what he wants right now.. the girls thoughts grew louder and louder before finally reaching her patience. “What is it, Rui?” Her tone was firm and cold.

Ah the sound of his name coming out of her mouth. That was something Rui truly loved to hear. No matter how it’s spoken, he’ll always love the way she says it. Finally snapping out of his thoughts and actually listening to her words, his lips curled up from a smirk into a smile.

“The thing I want..” He pulled off one of his gloves and reached out for her hand. He held it gently, his touch was soft and comforting. “I just want to hold your hand again..” His face was filled with quite the amounts of blush, but he didn’t really mind. Nene on the other hand, was short circuiting.

Have they held hands before? They have. But it was different back then. They were young and naive. Holding hands with the opposite sex didn’t mean anything back then. Is her heart still pitter pattering? Yeah.

She held her chest, making sure her heart won’t jump out. She felt like having a heart attack too. Let’s just say her heart wasn’t doing her justice. She felt like exploding.

“I— that’s not— you—“ She was buffering. Rui chuckles and takes her hand up to his lips. He gives a slight kiss on the top of her hand. He winks and let’s go. Now that did it. She wanted to faint. She really did. “YOU— YOU— I—..”

He felt amused watching her reactions. He begins to walk away from the area, gesturing for Nene to catch up. “Cmon, Nene.. we still have props to put away.” She snapped out of it, and started to run after him. She doesn’t want to get trailed behind.

Good thing I didn’t kiss her.. or else she would’ve died! Rui chuckles at his own thoughts, Nene didn’t question it. She hid her face away from him, embarrassed by her reactions. He looks at her, his gaze was soft and reassuring rather than his usual cheekiness.

“If you need my help, let me know.” Rui spoke, his tone soft and gentle.

“It’d just require something in return.”

(1/2 sorry abt the essay jumpscare) i've used it to describe just his room before, but Tsukasa as a whole is surprisingly pragmatic? We see it off the top of my head in how he handled happiend, in that though he was sad he knew if emu didn't join them they would have to move forward without her. (you can kind of argue also in NY3, how despite wanting to go beyond wonder stage to get more experience he knew wxs still needed him). Not to say he has no idealism, his goal is pretty much entirely idealist, but he balances out the two pretty well overall by striving to become the best while knowing realistically he needs to work hard to achieve it. (He also accepts that sometimes things can't go the way he wishes it to, smth he learned way too early...) It is kind of a double edged sword, bc despite the abstractness of his dream he treats it more like a logical goal he will achieve in a certain amount of time (aka: "as soon as possible") and as we see in sky's edge the idea of not knowing how long it will take until finally becomes a star really digs into him. But what does it mean to finally become a star for tsukasa? Also let's be real his expectations for himself are fucking insane, he clearly using his idol as a model but he is so hard on himself for not being closer to his level despite not even being an actor on a more professional level for a year yet, while only being self taught. Like, that's really impressive???? Sakurako and Asahi can recognize the talent and hard work it takes for that kind of progress but Tsukasa can only see it as a failure for not immediately being the best. we see in pimh how the riley stage performance affects him too, he can only tunnel vision on being able to match their level bc they're further along than he is until it really rears its head in sky's edge, being so terrified of failing both his and his friend's expectations of him that he's willing to go to extreme measures both physically and emotionally to be able to push himself higher up. and during all this he takes his feelings about everything and views them in a strangely utilitarian way, as a way to help the show go smoothly, to help him get into a role, even in happiend he only willingly opens up bc he wants emu to open up and god knows if that wasn't the case he'd never admit how he felt to wxs! Idk. I think, just with the inherently vagueness of his goal and how he goes about it, as is, Tsukasa will never really be satisfied with himself. In the industry there will always be someone better than you and the way Tsukasa handles this is just not healthy, especially with how Sky's Edge worked out for him by a miracle I'm worried he's gonna see that extreme measures he took and lean more and more into it when he struggles with roles to make up for how he struggles to acknowledge the emotions he wants to just...ignore and bury to be forgotten. He's not equipped properly to deal with that reality bc he sees becoming the best as an objective goal he can achieve. The way he treats his emotions like a utility aka "i'm glad that my loneliness and sadness as a child could help me play torpe *packs that shit right back up and puts it away*" is a whole other can of worms to unpack but i'm gonna wait till his next event i think? idk this detoured as this always does sorry i HATE tsukasa tenma /j
