Saw someone else do this and thought to myself, why not procrastinate some more?  So here goes.
TOP FIVE HOTTEST LADIES OF ‘THE 100′
In no particular order -
1.  Raven Reyes
Tumblr media
Lindsey Morgan is insanely hot.  Like sexuality-awakening hot.  Half of it is the character of Raven, but the other half is - well.  Brown eyes, jawline I want to cut myself on, muscles for days, long brown hair. What’s not to love?
2.  Luna kom Floukru
Tumblr media
My wife.  She fucking makes me ache.  Those curls, those EYES.  Sometimes I find myself just fucking staring at her eyelashes because they go ON AND ON.  For DAYS.  I really don’t get people’s fascination with blue eyes because her brown eyes are fucking MeSmErIzInG.  Also she has THE NICEST MOUTH and before I get too flustered thinking about that I’m going to move on lol.
3.  Anya kom Trikru
Tumblr media
I’d never seen Dichen Lachman in anything prior to watching this show and let me tell you, her entrance - I fucking choked.  What a face.  Her braids, her costume, her voice.  I was that “mark me down as scared AND horny” GIF the entire time she was on the show.  If I’d been Clarke in this scene I doubt I’d have been able to speak at all.
4.  Lexa kom Trikru
Tumblr media
ADC has this sort of gentle, flower-girl look which clashes with the intense warrior queen vibes she’s trying to give off as Lexa.  On screen, that duality always interested me, even if the character never resonated with me the way she did with so many others.  She’s got these huge sea green eyes and this long curtain of brown curls you can’t help but want to stick your fingers in.  Or maybe that’s just me?  Love her or hate her, you’ve got to admit she’s hard to look away from.
5.  Gaia kom Trikru
Tumblr media
Tati Gabrielle is just jaw-droppingly stunning.  I remember seeing her casting photo pre-season 4 and my immediate thought was wow.  It doesn’t matter what her hair is doing, it doesn’t matter what she’s wearing, she’s one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen.  I knew she had to be on this list, despite the fact that this whole cast is fucking laughably attractive.
Tagging:
@yiangchen, @blodreina-noumou, @pendragaryen, @dylanobrienisbatman, @the-most-beautiful-broom, @clarkgriffon, @natshana, @johnmurphysass and anybody else who thinks they might be interested in this.

19 24 & 27 for the 100 is done-dred ask meme 😁
19. Which character had the best outfits/looks in season 7?
Does Memori being occasionally naked count? 😆 tbh I didn't care for a lot of the makeovers in S7 - they were going for practicality with a lot of it but it wasn't as visually appealing as the rugged and impractical looks of previous seasons. (I get that Octavia's hair flipping around in a wild greasy mane isn't what the cult peeps were looking for out of her, and that Emori looking like a hungry raccoon in a human body doesn’t work so well for her role as a goddess - but it's sure what I was looking for!) However, I really liked Hope's look; I thought what they did with her hair and eyebrows was really cute, even tho she didn't really get much in the way of cool outfits until the tail end. Her final battle look was enough practicality that she looks like her mother's daughter, but also enough fur and chains that we can see she's Blodreina's heir.
Tumblr media
Honorary mentions go to Emori (she's gorgeous in all of her outfits - she didn't win top spot because I like her best looking kinda scrappy and engineer-y like Seasons 5 and 6) and to the brief return of Anomaly!Josephine in that red dress. (I was looking r e s p e c t f u l l y )
Tumblr media
24. What are your top 3 episodes of the series?
It’s ironic that only one of these came out of seasons I considered “good” according to my ranking below... It’s all about the angst and character moments.
1. 5x02 - Red Queen.
2. 7x05 - Welcome to Bardo.
3. 3x16 - Perverse Instantiation II.
27. Rank the seasons from 1-7
Fave; this thing really hit it's stride and delivered satisfying character development: Season 5
After watching a show for four years about teenagers, getting to see them grown up a bit was really awesome. Some people changed a lot, some people didn't change much, some people started a cult, y'know (John Mullaney voice) life? Memori were dysfunctional but still loved each other deeply, Echo found a family and somewhere to belong, Diyoza is of course fucking awesome, and my girl Octavia got to be the bloodthirsty warrior queen she was always meant to be. It was dark and some parts were damn stupid (this show amirite?) But overall a joy to watch. I felt that it would have been a perfect ending to the show (and I don’t usually advocate for shows ending!)
In the darkness hope shines brightest: Season 4
So this season was super dark and all, but the bright moments (like Murphy's impassioned demands for Emori's safety, the moment when everyone turns up to rescue Raven and go to space, the conclave and Octavia's victory) were just so beautiful.
(Yeah yeah everything i listed is problematic I know so's the whole show).
A good beginning: Season 1
So, I think this was the first show that I watched when there was only one season, just based on what someone said about it (usually I’d pick up multiple seasons of a show on DVD from my local library) so this season actually had to convince me to keeps watching. I loved the premise, all the little flashacks and character interludes... it had a good start. It was fun to watch.
Meh: Season 3
This was where the whole “future survivalist” premise went sideways and the  practically magic elements started to drag things into a much less believable level of sci-fi. There were some good moments, sure (like Octavia comforting Jasper and Raven ripping herself out of ALIEs control and all of Memori, all of it) but also some damn shitty ones (RIP Lincoln - also Bellamy why the fuck would you massacre 300 people in their sleep. Why. Why did you think that was a good idea. What?)
Actually stopped watching for a while: Season 2
After the episode where Lexa and Clarke let the mountain bomb the summit, I actually stopped watching for a while. It felt like they were going too far, too dark, and I did NOT like Lexa’s decision-making (particularly since the obvious solution would have been to search the woods, find the really obvious spy dude, and then say “we’re evacuating, the mountain men are clearly here.” Dude was right there, stuck out like a sore thumb.) I went back eventually (well, obviously) but I felt like any brightness in the show had been stamped out, and I had to accept that I was watching something firmly grimdark (which *gestures at how it all went downhill from there in terms of darkness* was probably a good thing, in hindsight.)
And then the absolute trash fire that is Book II:
Ugh is it over yet: Season 6
Good LORD this show jumped the shark. But Josephine prime was kinda fun in a psycho kinda way, and Horny Memori rights is always good - plus the bromance between Octavia and Diyoza.
Flaming garbage: Season 7
what. What even was that. But hey more Horny Memori rights, and Murphy was all “save the children!” which was very sexy of him.

Note
im really glad that they are not pitting echo and clarke against each other and i like the way they are portraying this love triangle so far what do you think
Yeah. I like it, too. I mean it’s a bit tragic. None of them have done anything wrong to get in that situation, but it’s what happened. No one cheated. No one is being dishonorable.
Bellamy and Clarke were best friends, partners and soulmates who fell in love and were separated. He thought she was dead. She was waiting for him to come home while the memory of him kept her alive and sane. The memory of her drove him to keep going and live. Part of that meant moving on, so after a number of years (3-6 we don’t know how many actually) he let go of his grief for his dead wife partner and turned to a beautiful, intelligent woman who was there and loved him. SHE, of course fell in love with Bellamy. He saved her life, he was her new king, he’s gorgeous, he was the only single man there, they got to know each other and become friends and a team.
So he got a girlfriend and was happy with her. And then his wife Clarke came back to life. And they were the same. Changed, separated, but the same. She was still in love with him and had been talking to him for 6 years, making him her current boyfriend… in her mind. But then the real Bellamy had a girlfriend and a new family, so she realized HER bellamy was just a fantasy.
EXCEPT HE’S NOT A FANTASY. He IS the fantasy boyfriend, the hero, the good guy, and even better than she imagined him. But he’s got a girlfriend. So she makes sure he doesn’t find out that she’s in love with him and stays “platonic.”
Meanwhile, Echo has no clue. She thinks they’re just partners, sibling like even. And because Clarke avoided them in season 5, and then Echo left to save everyone, she never got to see them together. THEN Echo and Clarke had a confrontation in which Echo came to understand Clarke, and know what kind of person she was, and she accepted her choices, because they made sense, especially since she spared Echo, gave her Madi, and let her go save Bellamy, while saving Raven, Shaw and stopping the missiles. So Echo is now good with Clarke. And Clarke is good with Echo, because she gets it. She does.
Only NOW in season 6, while Clarke is TRYING to be platonic with Bellamy and failing. And Bellamy is TRYING to be platonic with Clarke, and failing, and instead finding himself CENTERED on Clarke, and drawn to her, and focused on her, while Echo is being eclipsed from conversations, plans, concerns, and attention. You can see her looking at Clarke, looking at Bellamy, looking at both of them and putting the pieces together. I do not know when she’s going to have enough of the pieces to see the picture, but soon I suspect.
And I like also that she’s got her OWN concerns about being in a relationship with Bellamy, and they aren’t about Clarke or Bellamy, but about her role, what she accepts for herself, what she was taught, her past, her own traumatic life. She gets to be a person. She gets to put her own needs first. Bellamy isn’t. And she deserves that.
CLarke stays out of c/b/e as much as possible, she just can’t hide her feelings.
Bellamy is trying to stay out of it, but he is SUPER confused, and I don’t think he can hide his feelings for Clarke. Or stop them. Or resist her. I don’t know if he understands that this is a problem yet. I think he’s convinced himself that he’s doing it to make the team work better, to be a family. But that’s not it. And he is pulling away from Echo. I doubt he means to, but his attention goes first to Clarke, then to Octavia, then Madi, then to Murphy, then to Raven, then to Emori, jesus he’s shown more care for Miller’s feelings than for Echo’s. JESUS BELLAMY.

For the send me a character: Murphy and Emori?
I asked and then I completely forgot to answer this! Sorry!
Murphy
general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life
hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would bang
hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuff (I honestly go back and forth between Hufflepuff and Slytherin for him. Because he’s certainly cunning and will do just about anything to achieve what he wants, but also, he’s loyal as hell.)
best quality: He’s incredibly loyal and will do anything for the people he cares about. Not just fighting for them, but also supporting them and standing up for them.
worst quality: He lets himself be the victim too much. People have constantly made him the scapegoat and forced unjust blame on him for things he hasn’t done, and I think he now automatically assumes the victim role. He uses the way he’s been hurt as justification for hurting others. In his fight with Emori, he automatically assumed that he had been unjustly wronged by her rather than acknowledging his own mistakes.
ship them with: Emori
brotp them with: Bellamy, Raven, Monty
needs to stay away from: Ontari
misc. thoughts: I just love this boy a lot. He’s one of the most interesting characters on the 100 because he never quite fits into normal archetypes and cliches. He’s on a long, slow road to redemption, but he’s still more concerned with keeping him and his loved ones safe than being good. He can be so cruel and then so unexpectedly heroic. He’s prickly and sarcastic and mean but then he’s encouraging and supportive of the people he puts his loyalty in. He’s still allowed to suffer from the long-lasting affects of rejection and struggle with overcoming his issues in realistic ways. He keeps growing and then sometimes he backslides. He’s just interesting and a fantastically complex character.
Emori
general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life
hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would bang
hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuff (before s5, I would have said 100% slytherin all the way, but now that we see her outside of a setting where she’s constantly fighting for her life and expecting everyone to try and kill her, I lean more towards Ravenclaw.)
best quality: Emori is just so brilliant! And curious! She wants to learn more and grow and change and she’s able to adapt to crazy new, terrifying situations and she matures and overcomes her weaknesses.
worst quality: She’s actually overcome this a lot by s5, but she’s incredibly cynical in earlier seasons. Understandable, of course, considering her history, but it hinders her from making connections with other people and makes her always assume the worst. But she’s managed to let a lot of that go in s5 and seems a lot more optimistic.
ship them with: Murphy
brotp them with: Raven, Bellamy, Echo
needs to stay away from: Roan, Clarke, ALIE, like the entire grounder society
misc. thoughts: The ways Emori changed and evolved as a person from s4 to s5 was such a joy to see. She really did CHANGE as a result of the new environment she found herself in and in believable ways and it was really fun to see a version of Emori after living with people who accepted her and cared about her for 6 years. Can’t wait to see her grow even more in s6.
Thanks for asking!

60/69 (they’re kinda similar) for bellarke?
of course! i wrote it as clarke’s confession to bellamy about the radio calls. hope you like it!
60 : “Are you going to talk to me?”69 : “We need to talk.”
Rain came down in harsh sheets, splattering against the roof and windows of the rover. Grey clouds darkened the sky, like thick smoke after a fire. The only light came from a small bulb attached to the roof. It cast shadows off of Bellamy and Clarke’s bodies. Neither were looking at each other, nor were they touching their meager rations. It was as if the distance was still between them like it was after Praimfaya, even though there was mere inches between them.
As much as Clarke wanted it to melt away, their six years apart were more evident than ever. She snatched a look at him. Sadness clouded his gorgeous honey-brown eyes, not dissimilar to how the clouds above blocked out the sun. Clarke was used to seeing them bright and full of life, but now they were dull and almost dead. She felt a stab of guilt at the fact she was probably the reason for this. It pained her to see him like this. She sighed softly and stared at her feet, as if her boots were the most interesting thing in the world. Her blonde hair fell in silky waves over her face, blocking her emotions from Bellamy’s view.
The tension between the pair was so thick you could cut it. “We need to talk,” Clarke blurted out. It came out in a rush, but Bellamy knew what she meant.“We do…”Clarke turned to face him. Her soft sky-blue eyes met his much darker ones. Her mouth was set in the determind line Bellamy reconised from all those times they’d faced enemies on the ground. Now, though, it was a little softer, more worn. Like she was tired, but still fighting. That was the best way he could sum up Clarke so simply. She deserved more, though. So much more. She desereved books, poems, and plays written about her beauty. Palaces of paragraphs about the way her eyes sparkled in the sun, or how her nose crinkled when she really smiled, or the endearing way she snorted slightly those rare times she laughed. In Bellamy’s eyes, she was more beautiful than Helen of Troy and Aphrodite - women who have had wars fought over their beauty.
“Bellamy.. While you were in space, I called you every single day, on the radio. I know that you didn’t receive them, or if you did you couldn’t respond, but I still did it. I needed you, those six years. Even if you were a million miles away, it was my way of still talking to you. Maybe it’s stupid, but both me and Madi know it’s what kept me sane all that time.” Her words came in a rush, but her chest heaved with relief after she finished.
Bellamy fell silent, the realisation hitting him. “Y-you really did that?” He met her eyes again. “You really talked to me every day?”Clarke nodded, a faint blush staining her snow-white cheeks. “Every day…”“I, uh, I talked to you, too… I wrote you letters.. Not every day because we didn’t exactly have a surplus of paper, but at least every month, and most weeks for the first couple years. I’d show you them, but I left them in space. I was sure you wouldn’t be alive when we came down, and I didn’t want that reminder, y'know?” Bellamy’s words were slower than Clarke’s, as if he himself couldn’t quite believe he’d done it.
Clarke’s mouth formed a perfect “O” of shock. For the first time, words had failed her. She simply buried her head in Bellamy’s shoulder. Unlike the first time they’d hugged, Bellamy didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms around her. They stayed their, wrapped in each others’ arms for longer than either of them knew. It could’ve been minutes or hours. They both just appreciated the warmth and the contact they’d longed for all that time.
Bellamy gently pushed Clarke back into her seat. “I just remembered.. I do have one, if you wanted to read it? I never got the chance to put this one with the others, so it’s still in my coat..” He fished it out of the inside pocket. The one just above his heart. Clarke smiled slightly and unfolded it.
“Dear Clarke, I don’t know why I still write these. I doubt you survived Praimfaya, let alone on a radiation-soaked planet these last six years. I really hope you did, though. More than I’ve ever wished for anything, I wish you were with us. These letters are the only reason I’ve survived myself all this time. Between Monty’s algae, Murphy’s garbage jokes, Raven’s mood swings, Echo’s, well, Echo-ness, and Emori’s sarcasm, it’s hard to be here. There are good things, of course. The dumb movie nights Monty makes us have, Harper’s love for all of us, and Murphy does often lighten the mood. It feels empty without you, though. Even though the chances of you being alive are slim, I hope you’re happy. Wherever you are. I hope you’re happy at last. You really deserve it, Princess. After all we went through…
Raven’s finally done it. We’re coming back to earth, back home.. I hope you’re there, C.
Wherever you are, I know you’ll always be with me really. Whatever our souls are made of, yours and mine are the same. I know that now. If our souls are the same, they’ll never really be apart.
According to Raven, we’ll be on earth in less than a month. Which also means that this is my last letter to you. At least my last one in this tincan. I hope you’re there waiting for us, Clarke. If not, may we meet again.
Love, B”
As she read it, she imagined Bellamy’s strong hand going along the page to form the neat scrawl. By the end, tears were pricking at her eyes. “I’m sorry, Bell.. For screwing up my one job before Praimfaya, for not being good enough to fix the radio, so that you’d know I was alive, for all the pain I caused you for so long..” Bellamy cupped her face. “Clarke, it’s not your fault. We’re together, we’re alive. We’re going to be okay. We always will be, I promise.” She loved him for saying that they were together, because no matter what happens or had happened, they really were together. Like he said in his letter, their souls were the same. They’d always be together, even if it felt like they weren’t.
Almost as if he was nervous, Bellamy leaned in slowly. His face centimeters from hers, he stared into her eyes. Clarke closed the gap, pressing their lips together. That kiss said everything they both wanted to say, everything that even six years of calls and letters couldn’t have said. The world could’ve exploded around them and Clarke wouldn’t have noticed. For the first time in too long, both felt truly okay. They were together and that was all that mattered.

The 100 Highlights - “Eden” (5x01)
Hey there fam! I’m starting this series in honour of the new season of The 100 that is now airing. Basically, it will function similar to review of the episode, except I will be pointing out the highlights of the episode - the things that I liked (not what I was critical of).
In light of 5x01 airing, it has become increasingly clear to me that - no matter how good an episode is - it is too easy for this fandom to get caught up on the negative aspects of it. (And yes, that includes myself sometimes.)
Being critical is good - it is a part of consuming fiction - but it is also important to recognize the positive aspects of literature as well. If not for anyone else, than for your own sanity. So that sparked the purpose of this series: for me to take a step back and think about what I enjoyed about the episode, and then share it to spread a little positivity in fandom.
I intend to do this for every episode of Season 5, and possibly for later seasons as well (assuming we get renewed) depending on how it goes.
So, for my first post, I will be talking about “Eden”.
In no particular order:
The camera following the Ark and speeding down to Earth as the very first shot of the season was pretty cool and really captured the atmosphere of the episode as well as what the heart of the show seems to be: the connection among people even when they are apart, and the ways in which they fight to get back to each other.
Looking back, the cinematography of this episode was honestly stunning. The dull and bleached colour pallet of the scorched Earth versus the vibrancy of Eden is a shocking contrast and there were so many beautiful shots throughout the episode.
Loved the little callbacks to past places and characters - like the stones where they signalled to Luna, Jasper’s goggles, the stick from L.exa’s throne, Maya’s iPod, the rover, etc - it shows how all these people are still very present in Clarke’s mind (and how they are indirectly keeping her alive, keeping her centered).
The attention to detail was really strong in this episode (see above point) with all the props and the music choices (eg. playing the CL theme when Clarke finds L.exa’s throne). Due to this it ensured that, in spite of the time jump, the heart and history of The 100 remained present.
Seriously, there were sooo many cool shots. The shot of Clarke driving as the dust/lightning storm approaches was super neat. I loved how they depicted what life on Earth looks like after Praimfaya, the devastation of the planet. And also the shot of her staring into the flames as she burns the bodies of the villagers was stunning.
Having the entirety of the first 27 minutes following Clarke (and narrated almost solely by her) really nailed home the impact of her isolation and was, not to mention, a very bold storytelling decision
Music was used expertly in this episode. Tree Adams did such a great job at pinpointing when the music was needed, and when the episode was better served by using it liberally (and, on occasion, not at all). In the shot of Clarke sorting through Arkadia, the music is very light, the most prominent sound the whistling of the wind, as if to accentuate the fact that the world has gone completely silent following Praimfaya. It is also used as an homage to old characters who have passed, such as Maya, or L.exa, which I appreciated.
The scene where Clarke finds Jasper’s things was absolutely beautiful, and Eliza killed the scene with her acting. When I watched 4x13 last year I was disappointed to find that the scene where Clarke found Jasper’s suicide note was cut from the finale (it was in the leaked scripts) because I thought it meant Jasper’s memory would be forgotten. In retrospect, I’m happy that they did it this way instead, when Clarke is completely and utterly alone, and she can finally allow the emotions to hit her properly. There were so many amazing callbacks to characters from previous seasons who are no longer around anymore.
“Anyway ... in case this is the last time I get to do this, I just wanna say .. please don’t feel bad about leaving me here. You did what you had to do. I’m proud of you.” We’ve all had over a month to mentally and emotionally prepare ourselves for this line, since the trailer came out, but it remains just as beautiful as the first time.
There’s just something so badass about Clarke driving through an empty post-apocalyptic wasteland, listening to EDM on one of the last remaining pieces of tech on planet Earth. Clarke finding Maya’s iPod was the gift I didn’t know I needed.
Kudos to the makeup department for depicting their female lead realistically after almost dying of dehydration and radiation burns in the desert - sometimes this is not easy to find on a CW show.
Clarke’s frequent radio calls/narration offers up a fresh and interesting way of telling the story in this episode, revealing how Clarke has grown and reflected over the years.
There were soooo many parallels to previous episodes (eg. Clarke rising out of the water like Octavia in 1x01, the irradiated dining room in the village visually paralleling Mount Weather in 2x16, Clarke confronting her map like she did in the very first episode of the series, the shot of her face through the flames as she burns the bodies of the villagers is very reminiscent of 3x12, and everything to do with Madi and Clarke parallels the Blakes. And, of course, Charmaine’s “it means we’re not alone” is an obvious callback to Clarke’s words in the Pilot.)
No emotional beats are missed in 5x01. Clarke finding the child on the step outside the church is just one example of a gutwrenching moment in this episode that emotionally impacts us just in the way that all good media should.
“I’ve lost track of how many bodies we’ve burned since reaching the ground. God, this would be so much easier if I knew you were alive, if I knew I was going to see you again.” My Bellarke heart is singing!
Clarke gushing about berries. Enough said.
The filming of Clarke’s encounter of Madi pays homage to the horror genre, with her appearing suddenly in between the trees, or in the window frame. While not scary, it holds the same mood as 3x12 and 4x07 did - two episodes most strongly associated with typical horror films. I really enjoyed the mystery and intrigue associated with the way they approached Clarke meeting Madi.
By displaying Madi as fearful of flamekeepers, it demonstrates an alternative perspective to the Grounder faith that we haven’t gotten to see before: resistance. It also shines a light on the brutality of the conclave system in a way that is rarely addressed in the show (but perhaps should be).
Clarke performing surgery on herself? SO ! BAD ! ASS !
Clarke’s drawing of Madi was beautiful. And the little girl’s smile after seeing it? Precious.
Clarke spearing a fish? I’m turned on.
They did the absolute MOST gorgeous transition this show has ever done in this episode. And you all know which one I’m talking about. When Clarke is looking up at the stars and says, “What about them? Do you think they’ll come down too?” AND THEN IT SMOOTHLY SHIFTS TO THE ARK, BELLAMY STARING OUT THE WINDOW LOOKING DOWN AT HER AS SHE LOOKS UP AT HIM - BOTH UNKNOWINGLY. And the MUSIC. The music, oh god. Everything about it was stunning. The camerawork, the music, the thematic implications of it all. I just can’t be coherent about how amazing that transition was. Lemme go watch it another five times before I continue.
Raven beating Echo. Raven laughing. Raven.
The dynamic among the space squad is really intriguing, and Jason Rothenberg communicated so much with so little. With just a few short scenes and lines of dialogue we can perfectly understand everyone’s role on the Ark, the tension between Bellamy and Raven, the uncertainty of Echo paired with the internal struggle of Monty, the way Emori has so seamlessly fitted herself into the group, and how Murphy has just as easily removed himself from it. It’s fascinating to me to watch how these characters interact with each other; how things have remained constant, and how they have shifted.
The fact that “Murphy” is considered one of their chores on the Ark will never not be funny (and equally heartbreaking???).
“Seconds?” “Yeah right, I choose Murphy.” I will never be over Monty’s poor, cute, little hopeful face here. It was adorable.
The Murphy and Bellamy fight scene was a blessing in every single way. First of all, Bellamy being cheeky is my lifeblood. Second of all, Murphy’s story this season is super intriguing to me. And third of all, Bellamy holding Murphy in a headlock as he forces him to admit he’s not worthless is a scene I never would have imagined I would need this much.
“You know what I think your problem is? You like being the hero; only up here, there are no heroes.” I LOVE this line because of how it delves into Murphy’s psyche and also displays him in a different way than Murphy typically is. It shows that, deep down, he really does care about more than himself. When he has so much time to wallow in his own self-loathing, he feels he needs to live up to his own expectations, and he acts out. If he can’t be a hero, then he’ll be what he knows he can be. A dick.
Also ... “there are no heroes” = “there are no good guys”. I love my otp
Bellamy is the biggest dad and I am LIVING for it.
“I’ll make sure it’s my only choice.” Cue Kate’s Bellarkean death.
“Non-violent offenders with me?” “Yeah, both of them.” Okay, I’m sorry but I’ll never stop laughing about this.
“Relax, McCreary. You’re still my favourite mass-murderer.” I loved this little exchange because it hints at the dynamic between all of the Eligius crew. Again, Jason does so much with so little words. It clearly indicates just how different these prisoners are from The 100 - how dangerous. Also ... is Zeke a mass murderer, then?
Monty and Harper’s scene together was enlightening. I’m so excited for Monty’s journey this season, and it makes complete sense for him to go in this direction. What’s intriguing is that him and Harper have almost shifted places from where they were in Season 4, where Harper wanted to give up and Monty was insistent on the need to keep fighting. He brings up a good point now: “No one should have to be that strong.” Because isn’t that the whole truth? I also really appreciated the callback to Monty’s mom, as well as Jasper, as there was a serious concern as to whether those deaths would just be swept under the rug because of the time jump. I’m happy to see that my concerns were for nothing.
Emori and Raven’s friendship is EVERYTHING.
Nothing is brighter than Raven Reyes’ smile and that’s a fact.
Lindsey and Richard continue to have stunning chemistry and they both feed off each other so well, no matter how you see their relationship.
Ending the episode with the single shot of the fight ring in the bunker and Octavia (and her “royal guards”, so to speak) observing blankly from above was absolutely chilling. And the best possible way to lead into the next episode.
Hope you enjoyed reading my highlights! Feel free to share some of your own. I’ll be back sometime next week following “Red Queen”.

Dream of Love ch 3: Silly Lovebird
rosymamacita
Read on AO3: Chapter 3
It's just the girls. Drinking their drinks and gossiping. Harper seems to be a bit obsessed with love, but it's her wedding, so she's allowed. And then she turns her attention to Clarke. And Bellamy. And then all the girls do.
Notes:
girl bonding. we never get girl bonding. there are fancy drinks, pedicures, aioli, and discussions of old sweethearts.
Clarke closed the door to her cabana and fell onto her bed. She put a hand to her chest to try to hold on to her racing heart. “Calm down,” she muttered to herself.
Things like this didn’t happen. This couldn’t possibly be real. The boy she’d fallen for in high school when she was young and naive couldn’t POSSIBLY be this gorgeous and hot and as nice as he seemed.
No. That was not the way life worked. Certainly not the way HER life worked. Not since she was a kid. Not since she’d left Arcadia.
Her mother had called her home to California and she’d struggled to get her feet back under her. She just barely managed to keep her grades high enough and scores impressive enough to get into a decent college. And she struggled with her course work, not that anyone could tell. She always did just enough to get the grades. Until…until…until the thing with her girlfriend went south. Until premed was too much. Until her mom got remarried. Until her apartment got condemned for mudslide damage. Until she couldn’t hold on to it all anymore and she just collapsed.
She spent a year, maybe, never leaving the house. She lost contact with everyone back in Arcadia, even her cousin. Definitely Bellamy, because she couldn’t face what a mess she was. But slowly. Slowly, she got her feet back under her.
Nine years after her life fell apart, here she was. A licensed art therapist, with a newly adopted daughter, back in the town where she had been happiest. She had been willing to start all over again. And she hadn’t even had the chance to catch her breath before Harper had made her come to her wedding to reacquaint herself with her old friends. And THEN she’d enlisted her mom, who had paid for flight and hotel, because she wanted Clarke to be better. To be happy. So Clarke had to come.
But with Harper’s pointed hints and matchmaking she had tried not to get herself excited, because that was not how her life worked out, “Did you know Bellamy is single still?” Harper had told her as soon as she had gotten the truck unloaded at her new apartment. “You used to be such good friends. He’s a teacher and one of my best friends and he’ll be at my wedding solo. So you have to come so he doesn’t feel like a loser, because his ex girlfriend is bringing a date and the party is too small for him to hide out in.”
“Are you trying to set me up with Bellamy Blake?” she’d asked, to embarrass her.
“Yes. Yes I am.” Harper was not embarrassed. “I want you to hook up with Bellamy.”
“Harper! Who do you think I am?”
“I think you’re a woman who needs to have a good time. And Bellamy is a great guy. And you like each other.”
“We haven’t seen each other in ten years. I’m sure that’s not going to happen. I’ll make you a deal, though. I’ll come and I’ll hang out with him, but I make no promises.”
Because. Of course.
And then he was there. Right off the plane squinting up at her. The wind ruffling his black hair. The sun glinting off of his skin with a bronze sheen. And that wide bright smile, and Clarke had lost her breath.
She’d stood at the top of the stairs and the want had washed over her. She wanted him. She wanted everything about him. She wanted those amazing arms around her. She wanted his lips on hers. She wanted him to keep smiling at her. She wanted to tell him all about the ten years he hadn’t been there and she wanted him to tell her it would be okay because now he was here.
And because this was an island in the middle of nowhere and the air smelled like flowers and caressed her skin. Because this boy from her past was standing there staring at her and she wanted to get to do her life all over again. Because this was not real life. Because it was a dream. And if not a dream, then dream like. Because of all of that she came up to him and she threw herself into his arms.
She was home.
****
This was the strangest wedding she’d ever been to.
There was absolutely no fuss. It was almost like it wasn’t a wedding at all. There were no designated colors, or seating charts or rehearsals or favors. Harper had a wedding dress, but it was something she’d gotten off the rack, just a simple white slip dress and she had some silver sandals that she said made her feel like a sea goddess, and a necklace made of semi precious stones. But otherwise, Clarke wasn’t actually sure she’d ever been to an event this easy going and…well… relaxing as this.
Harper was completely the opposite of a bridezilla and she just didn’t care about any of it. She didn’t even care about getting married. It was a vacation with her favorite people as far as she was concerned. She was doing it for Monty, who wanted to make them legal and official and all of that. She just shrugged and threw her feet over the edge of the lounge chair on the patio, so Echo could paint her toenails green.
“Green,” she said. “Get it? Green.” Then she laughed hysterically and drank another of those fruity cocktails she’d been sipping on since Clarke had gotten there.
“Yes, baby,” Echo said, rolling her eyes and smirking slightly. “We know you love The Green.”
She sighed. “I do. I’d do anything for him.”
“Even get married to him when you think marriage is an outdated and parochial institution that is inherently misogynistic and materialist in nature?” Raven handed her an egg roll to soak up some of the alcohol.
“Even get married because marriage is a out-dait-ed and… what was the rest of that?”
They all started laughing.
Clarke leaned over and took the fancy drink out of Harper’s hand. “We’d better get you to slow down so you can last all day. We still have the barbecue later tonight, and you do not want to be passed out for that.”
Harper pouted but let her take it. “Hey,” she said, with a hand on Clarke’s arm. “Hey. Love is beautiful, Clarke.”
Clarke smiled fondly at her. She had missed her. “I know. I’m really happy for you and Monty.”
“No,” Harper shook her head and blinked slowly before letting go and leaning back in the lounge chair. Echo grabbed her foot and resumed painting her toes. Emori gave her a bottle of water. “No. I mean Looo-oove.”
“I know, Harper. I can’t wait to see your wedding. I’m really so glad you’ve found love.”
“No, ugh,” she said and took a swig of water. “Tell her Emori. Tell her about how much you love Murphy.”
“Ha ha, Harper. I think you picked the wrong person to extoll the praises of love,” Raven teased. “She wants to kill Murphy all the time.”
Emori sat straight. “No I don’t. I love him. I wish I didn’t love him so much, sometimes. It’s hard because he’s been through a lot and I am stubborn and…”
“And loving him makes it BETter, right Emori?”
Emori sighed and then slumped back and drank her fancy drink. “I wish it didn’t but it does. Sometimes I just want to BE with him because it makes me feel better, even when I’m angry at him.”
Harper waved her hands in the air. “See? I was right. Raven. Tell Clarke how beautiful love is. Tell her how much you love Shaw and he makes your life bet—ter. TELL HER.”
“Uh….” Raven blushed dark. “We’re not there yet, Harper.”
“Liar. You LOVE him. I know you do. I can see it.”
Raven shrugged and looked away. Clarke gave her Harper’s drink. She needed it more. Raven looked at her thankfully and took a big sip. “Oh wow, this is SO good Harper.”
Harper made a sound like she was gagging. “Raven is pretending she’s not in love with her boyfriend. ECHO. ECHO, baby doll, tell Clarke about how awesome it is to love that big hunk of beefcake you’ve got. Woo! Did you see his abs? Hubba hubba.”
Echo merely laughed. “Oh no, you silly love bird. You’re not going to get me. I am not in love with Roan. And I am not going to be in love with Roan. But I like him a whole helluva a lot and he is GREAT in bed. I’m having fun with a good friend and we enjoy our mutual hotness, abs included.” Echo raised her halter top to point out her own.
“Oooh!” Harper reached out a hand to touch. “Nice! Look at mine.” Harper also raised her top to show a truly enviable set of abs. “Everyone show your abs.”
Raven was still sucking on her drink, her face glowing from the love discussion so she was eager to also raise her shirt and show some amazing abs. Emori pulled up a corner of her shirt to show quite the flat tummy too.
Clarke laughed. “Yeah. Okay. I don’t have abs. I can’t compare to you all.”
“I don’t believe you! Let me see. I’m the bride. You have to show me. Bridezilla. Grr. SHOW ME THE ABS.”
Clarke sighed heavily. “Fine. But if you people think I’m going to join your ‘awesome abs workout club’ just because I’m moving to town, you have another thing coming. I think I’ll stay how I am, pleasantly rounded.” She raised her top and caught the waitresses attention. “One of those fruity things please? With the lantern.”
Emori added to Clarke’s order, “And some appetizers. Uhm. Sweet potato fries? And the garlic bread. Our girl here needs some food with her booze.”
But while they were busy ordering, Harper was busy flopping over in her lounge chair again. “Oooh. Pretty. Oh my god.” Harper ran her hands over Clarke’s less than defined stomach. “She’s so soft!” She turned to look at Echo who was struggling to get the enamel on Harper’s toes. “Oh my god. She’s so sexy, with all those curves. Wow. That’s something to grab onto.” Harper clenched her fingers on Clarkes hips.
“Hot mama,” Emori wiggled her eyebrows at Clarke.
“Not to mention that fantastic rack,” Raven said, quite glad to get the attention on someone else. “Clarke has us all beat in the boob department. I don’t think there’s a man and not a few of the women on this island that wasn’t eyeing her cleavage when she came out in that top.”
“Okay. I’m feeling objectified, here,” Clark pulled her shirt back into place and yeah, it definitely showed off her boobs and yeah, she might have worn it on purpose, thinking momentarily of Bellamy, who had gone off with the boys to do something or other, to her mild disappointment.
“Oh would you sit still!” Echo snapped, grabbing Harper’s ankle. “Hey! Harper. Harper!” She snapped her fingers until Harper swerved back around. “Hey, you know what? Clarke thinks she can’t compare to the rest of the girls, but I have it on good authority that she’s the one that is the first choice for some people.”
“RealLLLly?” Harper singsonged, leaning her elbow on the chaise arm. “Do tell us more.”
“Well,” Echo said, her fingers tight on Harper’s ankle, words slow and hands fast with the brush. “You know how Bellamy and I dated for a year?”
Clarke froze.
“Yes! You were in love too. Tell Clarke how beautiful love is. Bellamy is just the best boyfriend, right? I mean, except for my Monty, but Bellamy is Bellamy, you know?”
“Hmmm,” Echo said, finishing the one foot and grabbing the other. “Well, Bellamy is an amazing boyfriend, but I was in love with him, and he loved me, but he wasn’t IN love with me. He couldn’t be.”
“He couldn’t?” Harper asked, eyes blinking. “Why not?” Clarke blessed her cousin for being drunk and asking prying questions.
“Because he fell in love with someone a long time ago who no one else could ever compare to.”
“He did? Who?”
Echo painted her last toe and then reached for the first foot. Coat number two. “Well who do you think, silly love bird?” Without even looking up, Echo nodded her head toward Clarke. “Her.”
Harper gasped and tried to turn towards Clarke but Echo’s hold was firm. The girl was strong. Harper settled for reaching out with one hand and grabbing her thigh. “Ooh. She’s so juicy. God. Has Bellamy ever grabbed this thigh? That might do it.”
“No!” Clarke said, but Harper was already turning back to Echo.
“Tell us MORE!”
“If you sit still and let me finish both feet.”
Harper nodded eagerly up at Echo. “What happened?”
“Well, I don’t know what happened back then with them, but it took me a while to figure it out. Months really, as I fell for him and he was so kind and sweet and did everything right, and still… there was always something holding him back. I even asked him if there was someone else who he was in love with, and he said no, there was no one else just me. I knew he wasn’t lying, and yet, I couldn’t shake the feeling that even when he said he loved me, there was still someone he loved best. And one night, he confessed that he had been in love once before, but she’d left a long long time ago and it was something that could never be. And that’s when I knew. He was still in love with the girl he had lost.”
“Was that what ended things between you two?” Emori asked, as if she’d always wanted to know.
Echo shook her head. “He was committed to me and I was in love with him, and he treated me so well and we had so much fun together, so I stuck it out, thinking he would fall for me, too.”
“He didn’t, did he?” Raven asked, her smile crooked.
“Nope. And I don’t know, stepping back that distance, knowing that he loved someone more, even someone who he’d never see again, it kind of made me fall a little bit OUT of love with him? Like, it wasn’t enough anymore. And then I started wondering if it was just his face and the way he cares for everyone and how smart and passionate… and how much I thought he SHOULD be the man I was in love with and maybe I just really LIKED him? And I really WANTED to be in love.” She sighed and shook her head. “I still love him. He’s the best guy in the world, but he’s not my guy and we don’t actually fit together right. He’s an idealist, and I’m… not. But I didn’t put two and two together until we met Bellamy at the airport and I saw the way he couldn’t stop looking at Clarke, except for when he was trying not to look at her. And how she ran into his arms to hug him and then she wouldn’t let him go.”
Harper gasped. “She did! Oh how romantic.”
Clarke remembered. She had wanted to never let him go.
“She totally did. And he didn’t want to let go, either. After months of trying to find signs of love in Bellamy, I finally found them. Right here. She’s the woman he’s been in love with for ten years. She’s the one he compares all the others to.” She dropped Harper’s ankle. “DONE! Now don’t run around and mess those up!”
“But wait!” Harper said. “Now you don’t have love…” her eyes started to brim with tears. “You don’t love Bellamy and you don’t love Roan…”
“It’s okay silly love bird,” she wrapped an arm around Harper and drew her in. “We’re in the same place and that place is a great place to be. I’m not going to fall in love again unless it’s right. I think with Bellamy I was just in love with the idea of love. It’s not like you and Monty. You two are a natural pair. Soulmates.”
“Soulmates.” Harper nodded, wiping the tears away and smiling again. “Just like Clarke and Bellamy.”
“W-wait,” Clarke stuttered, still reeling. “We’re not soulmates. I haven’t seen him in ten years.”
“When you’re soulmates it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been apart. You will always fall back together. Oooh! Garlic Bread!”
The waitress came and set the appetizers and Clarke’s drink down on the table. Clarke grabbed it and sucked down a good half of it. Everyone ate and checked out Harper’s toes and she thought that was the last of it, thank god, because she could not get her heart to calm down.
“So you’re in love with Bellamy.” Harper pointed a sweet potato fry at Clarke. The aioli dripped off and splatted on the table. Clarke took a napkin and wiped it up, avoiding her eyes.
“I haven’t seen him in ten years.”
“Mm. Yeah. You said that already. But he’s in love with you.” Raven was a lot less drunk than Harper. She was laser focused on Clarke. Shit.
She folded the napkin and wiped the table again, shaking her head. “We were just friends. It was high school. I only knew him for a year before my mom called me home anyway.”
Emori grinned and stuck a sweet potato fry in her mouth. “You didn’t say you didn’t love him.”
Clarke gaped. Then she blinked. Then she sucked on her drink.
“I remember you in high school, Clarke.” Raven was shaking her head, not buying it. “You and Bellamy were friends, but you were never ‘just’ friends. The two of you were something else, always arguing but always the first person to defend the other. You were inseparable. Wait. Did something happen between you?”
Clarke felt the heat rise in her chest, up her neck and into her face. She took a drink.
“Oh my god, you’re blushing. Did something happen?”
Clarke swallowed. “We kissed. Once. When he came to say good bye to me, before I left for the airport. I cried the whole flight. My heart was broken.”
“You KISSED Bellamy? Why didn’t you ever tell me?” Harper asked, clutching her hand to her heart.
“Because it was just once, and I never talked to him again.”
“But WHY, Clarke. Why didn’t you talk to him?”
“Because it hurt too much? Because I was a wreck? Because I figured I was being… I don’t know. Silly.”
Echo shook her head sadly. “I don’t think you were alone in that.”
Clarke opened her mouth but was unable to speak.
“You were in love with him,” Harper said, wide eyed.
“And he was in love with you.” Emori held onto Harper’s hand.
Raven leaned forward and pointed a sharp finger at her. “And you both still are.”

Sry my english isn't the best, Rosy, but in my opinion it's understandable and relatable that B forgave E over the course of six years, but not to fall in love with her. these are two different pair of shoes. so what's your explanation for that? i really can't bring myself to believe that he loves her. like u said before, he maybe 'loves' E but is not IN love with her bc she's family for him now. But i think even THIS is a huge step from 'only' just forgiving to loving. I can't get it completely
Well… I’m not sure he’s “in” love with her. I’m pretty sure we’re going to see the difference (again) between “in love with” and “loving” someone. They set up that difference with Finn in season 1 and never brought it up again, and I think that was an important bit of foreshadowing for the future. Namely, for our soulmates, partners, and heroes, Bellarke.
Also. Six years is a LONG time. If you spend that with only 6 other people, and little to do and no one else to associate with, you actually GET TO KNOW them.
The forgiveness took THREE years.
That means they had another three years to become friends and lovers. We actually don’t know how long they’ve been together. Three years is a long time.
Okay. How could they fall in love? If that’s what it is?
Story time: Picture this. NYC, the90s.
23 year old me, in a FWB thing with Randall. Totally fall in love with him and he with me, but it wasn’t about commitment so it faded away.
I meet Leo when 24, am in love and a committed relationship with him by 25. Break up at 26.5 and decide we’re better as friends.
I meet Steve that summer and have a whirlwind romance, fall head over heels dramatically in love. He breaks up with me 6 weeks later. I am still not 27.
I meet Ronen at when I am 29. Mutual crushing. Hookup right after I turn 30. Head over heels in love. Committed relationship. He dumps me 6 months later.
I added one extra year to spacekru’s 6 years because it took a while to develop with randall and ronen started before we got together. Oh, and none of those are the 12 year relationship I had with the father of my children.
So in a similar amount of time, I fell in love, not once, but FOUR SEPARATE TIMES. No overlap. Only one of the relationships was sudden, all the others had months of buildup. I was in 4 separate acknowledged relationships that both began and ended in that time.
If he’s forgiven Echo and learned who she is as a person then, by definition, what you hold against her is no longer a problem. That’s what forgiveness means. 3 years is enough time to get into a real relationship with someone.
I honestly think a lot of people don’t understand how LONG six years is. And how much people grow in that time. And how love is… well, love is organic too. It grows. Sometimes quick, sometimes slow.
And also, having sex with people does NOT mean it’s true love. Sex is not some sacred covenant. Sometimes it’s about filling a need. Passing time. Enjoying someone’s company. Expelling tension. Wanting to screw. Bonding with someone. Caring about someone. Needing closeness. Having fun.
Bellamy didn’t have anyone else to be with. Bellamy wanted to live his life and have something good in his life. Here is Echo, who is now his friend and part of his crew.
WHY SHOULDN’T HE?
Have you seen her? She’s GORGEOUS. And she cares for him.
WHY SHOULDN’T HE?
Because she did some bad things six years ago? He did worse things, honestly. He sacrificed 300 of his own people for his sister. He killed David Miller. He risked Emori and Murphy. Murphy told him.
WHY SHOULDN’T HE?
Because he loves Clarke?
LOVED. She’s dead. And I’m sure he still hurts from that. But no one should grieve for that long. I was horrified at the people who thought Clarke should be alone forever after L died. Who thought she should die right alongside her. YOU GET TO RECOVER. YOU GET TO LOVE AGAIN.
Y’all are being very selfish being unable to see how Bellamy could move on with Echo. It is SUPREMELY logical and eminently, emotionally healthy. and sexy. And set up with the narrative development. If you think it hasn’t been set up, you’re ignoring the canon.
Clarke would have done it. Clarke DID do it with L. He befriends his enemies and falls for them just like Clarke.
Methinks the fandom doth protest too much.

bellamy & emori for the character ask meme!
thanks Nadia!! my loves. both of them
Emori:
general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life
hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would bang
hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuff
Before this season and the finale of last, I would have said Slytherin, because OBVIOUSLY. And this isn’t to say Emori isn’t potentially the most Slytherin to ever Slytherin and willing to do anything to achieve what she wants - but also, she so clearly loves LEARNING.
She likes knowledge. She can read. She is one of the only grounders to understand and be open to learning about technology and machines, even before meeting Raven. She jumped headfirst into being Raven’s student. She figured out the shock collars on her own. She was EXCITED about space and something completely new. She loves to learn!
best quality: Emori is so loyal and protective of the people she loves. She was willing to put herself in danger for Otan and Murphy, she constantly has Raven’s back. She loves her family dearly and would do anything for them.
worst quality: Pre-s5: she’s jaded and cynical and untrusting. It makes perfect sense with the life she’s lived, but it’s detrimental to forming relationships and is damaging to her own mental health and happiness too. Luckily she’s mostly grown out of that! I’d say now in s5 her worst quality is that she still has a bit of a vengeful streak and lashes out when she’s hurt.
ship them with: JOHN MURPHY OF COURSE. And if he wasn’t in the picture or things don’t work out for them, I’ll cry and then ship her with Raven
brotp them with: RAVEN REYES!! They are the best techie bros in the world. Also Bellamy is 100% her new big brother and she’s his new little sister.
needs to stay away from: Roan kom Azgeda who definitely thinks she’s worthless because she’s a mutant and voted to stick her in a radiation chamber. He can choke. Also like, most of grounder society.
misc. thoughts: I LOVE HOW PROUD EMORI IS OF HERSELF!! I LOVE THAT SHE KNOWS HER OWN WORTH! I LOVE THAT AFTER A LIFETIME OF SOCIETY TELLING HER WRONG OR SHE IS WORTHLESS, SHE STILL BELIEVES THAT HER HAND IS FINE HOW IT IS AND DOESN’T NEED TO CHANGE AND THAT SHE IS WORTH MORE THAN A RELATIONSHIP WHERE JOHN’S HURT AND SELF-ESTEEM ISSUES ARE TAKEN OUT ON HER!!! THAT’S AMAZING!!! WHAT AN AMAZING FEMALE CHARACTER!!!
Bellamy:
general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life
hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would bang
hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuff
I almost went Gryffindor because Bellamy is the definition of rash brave hero, but he’s also a nerd. He loves learning. If he could, he would choose to read about ancient Rome all day long. He’d rather learn a cool history fact than anything else.
But in likelihood he’s probably a hat-stall between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
best quality: HE’S SO BRAVE AND SELFLESS!! He really does want to help people and protect them. He’s so protective of little kids especially. He’s so good and has so much empathy. HE’S A HERO! He gives lame pep talks! He’s good!
worst quality: He makes rash decisions and thinks with his emotions - especially with his anger. This has gotten a lot better as he’s matured in space, but in past seasons he definitely did lash out when angry and make bad decisions because of his hurt.
ship them with: Echo! They’re adorable. They’ve managed to grow past their past and support each other fully. They’re protective of each other, not just Bellamy being protective and supportive of her. They’re equals. They make decisions together. They know each other on a personal level and they make each other happy.
brotp them with: Raven, Murphy, Emori, Harper, Jasper, Monty, Miller. All of them.
needs to stay away from: At this point?? Clarke Griffin. They had a good relationship at one point and made a fantastic team, but this season it’s been clear that Bellamy managed to find peace and happiness in space and got to grow out of that damaging leadership role that always ended with him piling guilt on top of himself. And now, as soon as finding Clarke again, he’s getting dragged back into killing people and making those awful leadership decisions. I think Bellamy is a good leader, and I think he and Clarke used to make a fantastic leader, but I think falling back into that team/role is unhealthy for him.
misc. thoughts: I want him to have a closer relationship with Diyoza. I just kind of want to see those two go at each other in a battle of wits. I think it’d be a blast.
