Free Emma Typeset

Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors, and I feel like I'm obligated to do all her books eventually! The latest addition to my library is Emma, by of course the aforementioned Jane Austen. This book is typeset #49 for my library, and you can find it for FREE here with all my other pdfs!

Note: There are two versions of available! One has the full art, color title page I made using line art from canva and layering images in/under it. The other has the no art, no color title page (see below). Both are free (personal use only!) and sized for half letter (letter folio).

I just finished reading Emma by Jane Austen and I had a meme idea (below the cut because it has spoilers and I know the book is old but I still don't want to spoil it! This surprised me when I read it!).

I need people to stop being shitty about Emma by Jane Austen. She's a flawed but well meaning soul.

She knows the risk not marrying well will cause. So she wants all of her friends of feminine persuasion to make a good match.

Is she overly prone to meddling? Sure, like my mum is overly prone to shoving hot beverages in your hand when it's just below 50. Not actually necessary, kind of inconvenient, but comes from a place of love and care for your wellbeing.

Emma isn't a heartless ditsy bitch like people act like she is.

She's kind, empathetic, compassionate, obstinate, feminine lady who loves being a woman. I love her your Honor.

Reading Emma for the first time and Mr Elton is praising Emma for the guidance she has given Harriet, and I think it says something about the class system that Emma as the highest woman in the area is being given the credit of Harriet’s manners after a short acquaintance. As opposed to Mrs Goddard who has been Harriet’s teacher for years.

My in-laws gave me this lovely set of Jane Austen books, and I am so excited to read them. I only just read Pride & Prejudice this past year for the first time. My sister-in-law is a high school English teacher so she’s just as excited to read them in tandem too!

Yes i love to read, i loveeee romance books, splatterpunk, really sad looks like girl in pieces and classic literature

My fav books (if i have to chose) would probably be the picture of dorian gray, dead inside, RES series, girl in pieces, you’d be home by now, Emma, Devils night series (there is more LMAO)

my fav author(s) is probably Chandler Morrison, Kathleen Glasgow, jane austen or oscar wilde
