ok so this story is can be found on wattpad rather than ao3 just cause i find the format of ao3 to be confusing ANYWAY who's up for some lost boys fanfiction?
CHERRY RED
My whole family hated that we were moving. At least my brothers did. Honestly, I was just excited though. I mean being stuck in the same small town all my 16 years of living really makes a person want to get out sometimes. Or maybe its just my innate wanderlust. What can I say? It’s tough.
“Yeah Claud, keep sulking out the window, it’ll help,” Michael quipped.
“Oh my god, I was not ‘sulking’ you dipwad.”
“Claudia, don’t call your brother a dipwad.” my mom sighed,
An hour later, we arrived at our new home. It was small and cute. Me and my brothers rushed to claim our rooms. I found one at the end of a winding hallway. It had a large bay window with a clear view of the sea. Perfect. Just then I heard a rush of footsteps and Sam busted in.
“Do you mind?” I scoffed.
“Boo, I wanted this room.” he rolled his eyes and I crossed my arms.
“Snooze you loose.”
“Oh well. Hey, me and Michael were going to the boardwalk tonight, you know, get to know the city more. Wanna tag along?” Sam questioned. I bit my lip and thought about it. I mean would I rather stay in to unpack more or go out… Yeah, I’m going out.
“Alright, I’m in. Now get out doofus!” and I hit him with a pillow playfully. Now time to unpack. I grabbed all the boxes inscribed with Claudia. There were 2. So I started with the first one. It was a bit heavier than the other one but I managed it. Soon enough I had a well decorated room and a nice squashy bed.
“Come on Claud, we’re leaving!”
“Mike I’ll be ready in a second” I shouted in return. Scrambling to my newly organized closet, I chose my outfit. I wore a white tank, denim shorts, and a long yellow cardigan. I slipped on my favorite pair of Converse and left for the boardwalk.
The boardwalk was more crowded than ever. I almost felt dizzy with the amount of input I was getting at once. But I kept going and kept exploring. I was all on my own looking around, Mike was off chasing some girl and Sam was in a comics shop, so I ended up wandering around. The boardwalk seemed to glow in the pale moonlight. I loved it. My aimless stroll was halted when I stumbled across a stand selling churros and other boardwalk food. I decide to buy a churro and a coke. The kid selling them almost looked dead inside. I walked over to a bench and began eating. Just then, a blonde curly-haired boy sat on the bench. He was the guy standing behind me when I was in line for my food. The guy who I could tell was kind of into me, and honestly, I was kind of into him too.
“Hey,” I said, breathy. “I like your jacket.” God, I bet he noticed how flustered I was. But then I noticed he was almost a little flustered too. Aww.
“Thanks, cutie.” His smile was goofy, yet comforting. “I’ve never seen you around here before, are you knew here?”
“Yeah. I just moved.”
“Nice, nice. So do you like it here? In Santa Carla?”
“Yeah, I love the beach. And I love traveling.” He nodded and seemed like he was a bit fidgety.
We ended up sitting there, just chatting. He was kind. He was funny. God, I was falling hard.
Then, I glanced around, looking for Michael. It was getting a bit late and I was thinking about heading home.
“Ugh— where is he?” I couldn’t find him anywhere so I guess he just wandered off. I was thinking about asking him to drive around town, cause boardwalks were never my favorite.
“Where is who?” He asked.
“Oh, my brother.”
“You have a brother?”
“Is that surprising?” I smirked at him and raised my eyebrows.
“No, I mean…” he trailed off and looked a bit flustered. “Why are you looking for him?”
“Was gonna see if he would drive me around town.”
“Why so?” He asked.
“You ask a lot of questions!” I sarcastically joked with a smirk on my face. “See boardwalks were never really my style.”
He nodded and sat in silence for a short minute.
“I could drive you around.” My face stayed normal, but inside I was ecstatic. This cute guy on the boardwalk just asked me if he could hang out with me.
“Okay, sure!” I tried not to sound too excited. This was the first time I had found real love since… Well whatever.
“Alright, come with me.” He stood up and shrugged away from the bench. I stood up and threw my trash away and followed him.
“Y’know, I never caught your name.” He said.
“It’s Claudia.” I said, smiling at him.
“Claudia. Claudia’s a nice name.” He muttered, looking up at the stars. “My name’s Marko.” I nodded.
“Well, nice to meet you Marko.” I chuckled and keep walking along side him. It was nice.
Marko lead me over to a crowded parking lot. I’m the middle, there were a couple of motorcycles. I assume the more colorful one was his.
Just then a curly-haired dark boy caught my eye. Michael? I wanted to yell. He was flirting with a girl. The same girl he was chasing at the beginning of the night. At least I notice my goddamn sibling. I thought.
There were 3 other boys there too. A brunette boy, a long haired sleazy one, and finally one who definitely looked like a leader. He had a short blonde mullet and a light stubble. Well. Let’s see were this might takes us.
“Mind if we go to my buddies hangout? Don’t worry, they’re chill. " Marko said warmly. The blonde shot me a big toothy grin.
“See, that’s Paul. And you see him? The other blonde? That’s David. And finally we got Dwayne. They’re basically my brothers. " he grinned. “You ready, Claudia? " I nodded.
The ride was mostly a blur. Marko turning around to give me big Chessy Cat grin while I return it and wrap my arms around him in order to hold on.
Finally, we were at his friends place.

Go on…info dump me and ramble all about tb!👀 anything you want! I’ll be happily sitting in my bed when I get home and get comfy, get sum snacks, while I read your wonderful rambling✨😌
SQUEEEEEEE MJ YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY IT MAKES ME WHEN YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE ME SOME ASKIES 🥺🥺🥺 I LOVE YOUUU!!!🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
NOW THEN 👏 Ramble about anything I want, hm??? Well, why don't we bring our big gal Dawn Salamanca to the spotlight tonight, hm? Dont think I haven't been seeing you simping in the tags~ 👁👁
-Dawns hair is straightened and dyed! (Obviously) Vampire hair grows extremely fast depending on ones health and bloodline or genes. The only thing that usually slows the growing process is dying it! Wether it be a natural, or crazy hair color, or just your roots or tips of the hair, anything works. Her natural hair is black and very curly!
-The Salamanca bloodline was vampires... Purebloods to be exact! but her mother, Riva Salamanca gave up her immortality for Dawn's father, who was quickly killed by her grandparents and sisters while Riva was pregnant with Dawn. Dawn and her siblings (Teyo and Charlie, half sibs) were raised as humans, until Dawn was facing death with a terminal illness, and her mother pleaded with an elder about turning her oldest child into a vampire for the sake of keeping her alive. It was successful, but immortality has its price...
-She ran away from home a long time ago- back when she was about 14. Charlie has exactly forgiven her sister for it, so when they reunite in a very odd force of fate, things are... Rocky. 😬
-Dawn has a coven! Or, well, an Ex-coven. She ran from that too after a few years, and lives in an empties out sewer where she returns for rest when she isn't exploring and in the town at night. The reason she ran from her old coven was due to the same reason our good old Michael Emerson didn't decide to stick around with soke punked out blood suckers. Of course, that won't stop the two of her old friends from inviting her to the hide away and tease and mock her relentlessly.
---
And this is all I'll spill for my sillies!!! I don't want explain or spoil too much but I hope it wasn't too much or too boring! Thanks for letting me infodump babes, I can always count on you 😚😏

Teaching Manding Through Functional Communication Teaching Manding Thorugh Functional Communication Training To A 53-year-old Man With Cerebral Palsy Self-injurious behavior (SIB) usually occurs in mentally retarded persons. There are certain genetic syndromes which are more likely to cause self-injury as part of the behavioral phenotype of the condition. SIB can be quite devastating since it is a characteristic of several mental disorders. About 5-17% of all people who have intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities usually engage in self-injurious behavior in a repetitive nature with some having the number of incidences of self-injurious behavior being quite high. The incidence of self-injurious behavior in those who are mentally retarded can exceed 50%. SIB is a chronic problem Mikhail & King, 2001. Emerson (1995) found that out of 95 individuals who were mentally retarded, about 71% of them still showed signs of self-injurious behavior up to 7 years later. Functional communication is one of the methods of reduction of occurrence of self-injurious behavior. SIB in cerebral palsy patients A good number of patients with cerebral palsy usually have developmental and intellectual disabilities which causes them to have severe cognitive impairment. For this reason, they are unable to understand their environment well and thus they exhibit self-injurious behavior especially when they are unable to communicate with ease. There are three major risk factors which act as indicators of self-injurious behaviors in cerebral palsy patients. These are the damage to the nervous system, epilepsy and their learning disability. Other risk factors include age - research has shown that the incidence of SIB is at peak in patients between 15-34years, gender -- research has shown that men exhibit more incidence of SIB than women. Other factors include communication difficulties and multiple impairments Scope () Functional communication Lingraphica News (2006) states that functional communication is a term which refers to the capability of a person to receive a message or convey it regardless of the mode used to pass the message in order to make sure communication is effective and independent of the environment. This is the definition of functional communication as given by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In simpler terms, functional communication is basically making oneself understood by whatever means possible even though it may include the use of aid devices such as communications boards or speech generators. It also involves the person being able to communication in this way without being assisted. Simply responding to a question using yes or no does not include functional communication Schieltz et al., 2010() Functional communication has been recognized in the field of psychology as one of the methods that has been used to help individuals who have behavioral problems. It is used to prevent the escalation of wild behavior such as self-injury or aggression from previously mild behaviors. It is often an intervention measure taken by the people in charge of the care of the patient. All that needs to be done is to educate them on this method. Functional communication has come to be praised greatly by both practitioners and researchers because of its huge success Sternberg, 1991() Functional communication and extinction Extinction is an important variable in the use of functional communication in the treatment of self-injurious behavior. Extinction means that functional communication is combined with time-out. In a research study conducted by Shirley, Iwata, Kahng, Mazaleski, and Lerman (1997) it was found that when functional communication was combined with extinction or time-out, it was more effective in decreasing the occurrence of self-injurious behavior. The study was conducted on two participants, Rick and Sue. The former was used to test the use of extinction while the latter was testing functional communication without extinction. For Rick's case, it was found that when functional communication was combined with extinction, the incidence of self-injurious behavior increased at the initial stage but this decreased thereafter. At the beginning of the experiment, the average number of responses of self-injurious behavior was 2.54 per minute which then reduced to 0.08 per minute during the last five sessions which were combined with extinction. At this point, when extinction was removed, the number of responses continued to reduce to 0.02 per minute. For Sue who did not have time-out, the initial number of responses increased before decreasing to 0.19 responses per minute during the last five sessions. This goes to show that extinction is quite important in the reduction of incidences and treatment of self-injurious behavior Shirley et al., 1997() Manding Manding is a form of functional communication that is mostly used by adults to teach their children. It basically is asking a question which requires more than a simple yes or no answer. When the teacher uses mands, it gives them a leading role in the learning opportunity so presented and when they offer a mand, they expect a response from the other person. Because of this back and forth nature of manding, the teacher is easily able to find out whether the student understands them and whether they are capable of performing the request Murphy & Barnes-Holmes, 2010() In a situation where the student understands the mands, they are able to do as they asked and when they are not capable of understanding it, two things can be assumed. First is that the mand was not understood or second is that the task was too difficult for the student. If either of these two assumptions comes to be true, then it is possible to change the request to make it more understandable and easier to perform by the student. Use of functional communication to intervene in self-injurious behaviors Sara In a study that was reported in the Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness, functional communication was used to intervene on the self-injurious behaviors of a blind girl who also had several other severe disabilities. In a two-level program, the girl was offered to choose among several preferred activities and she was able to use a communication board and this resulted in the decrease of incidence of the self-injurious behaviors Gerra & Dorfman, 1995() In the study, the blind girl, known as Sara, had suffered the complications as a result of her premature birth. She has average weight and height for her age and her physique is sturdy. She prefers active physical activities. Though her hearing ability was within the normal limits, her oral skills were inadequate to enable her express herself effectively. However, the major concern that made her the subject of the study was the self-injurious behavior which included screaming, face punching, crying, hitting her face and head with both fists and biting Gerra & Dorfman, 1995() She was attending a program which served visually impaired students who also have other cognitive difficulties and disabilities. The program teaches the students to use alternative methods of communication such as sign language, communication boards, tangible cue systems as well as other augmentative equipment. The students are allowed to determine their daily schedules through the choice of their preferred activities Gerra & Dorfman, 1995() Level 1 of the program is designed to encourage the participation in classroom activities that do not maximize the student's ability to learn communication skills as an alternative to the self-injurious behaviors. Level 2 of the program was designed to be a refinement of the first level. It involved integrating functional communication with choice Gerra & Dorfman, 1995() Data was collected for the study for 114 weekdays, 57 days for level 1 and 57 for level 2. Sara was seen to have a mean of 36.2 self-injurious minutes every day during level 1 of the program which then reduced to 11.3 minutes during the second level of the program. In the level 1 of the program, she had 22 days which she did not exhibit any self-injurious behavior while for 30 days in the second level, she did not exhibit any such behavior Gerra & Dorfman, 1995() Before Sara joined this program, her behavior did not allow her to participate in many activities in the school program. However, after the improvement in her behavior, she was not able to go on school trips, community outings and other recreational activities. She was also now able to make better choices and to communicate better. She also gathered the virtue of tolerance and experienced an overall improvement in the quality of her life Gerra & Dorfman, 1995() Manding Functional communication and especially manding has been known to be most effective in autistic children. In autistic researches, functional communication training was essentially found to be a way to replace the inappropriate behaviors with more effective and appropriate modes of communication and skills ADDIN EN.CITE (Padilla Dalmau et al., 2011; Reichow, Volkmar, Doehring, & Cicchetti, 2010; Yamamoto & Mochizuki, 1988) Functional communication was essentially found to be most effective with children without any discrimination on their level of cognition or their communication abilities regarding expressions. In the many researches that have been conducted on manding, it was found that it is most effective in the early childhood stages and at the elementary levels. However, an assumption is made that functional communication and manding can also be used for older learners Howlett, Sidener, Progar, & Sidener, 2011() Experiments and studies regarding functional communication and manding are essentially conducted in clinical, home and school-based environments. Though research has not yet indicate the use of manding in the community, it may be ideal for teaching in community settings where inappropriate or self-injurious behaviors are common Harding et al., 2009() Manding has also been used severally in the treatment of various psychological and behavioral disorders mostly those involving self-injurious behaviors. In one of the studies, three students who were suffering from autism were trained to make requests for specific objects from an adult who they referred to as the supplier using a sentence that began with 'give me ____.' They were then to give the object to another different adult who they referred to as 'the director'. The degree to which the 'give me ____' was controlled by the supplier when they gave the student an object other than the one which they had asked for Yamamoto & Mochizuki, 1988() At first, the students did not know the names of all objects and thus would pass the object on to the director though it was not the object they asked for. The students were then trained the names of the object and to refuse taking a wrong object by saying 'that's not it. Give me ____.' This exhibited a characteristic of a mand since the students were now able to control the 'give me ____' response by the object requested. Without the students being able to identify the variables which control the response, this cannot be considered a mand but since the student were now able to relate the object to the required response, this became a mand Yamamoto & Mochizuki, 1988() In another different study, two individuals who did not previously acquire picture exchange communication despite intensive efforts being put in place were evaluated to establish the effectiveness of using representative objects to teach mands for their preferred items. Each of the 2 participants was involved in self-injurious behavior but was trained to exhibit a communicative response which functioned to solicit for reinforcement to help them refrain from these self-injurious behaviors. For the two participants of the study, they had consequences for inappropriate behavior. These consequences included graduated guidance or time-outs. The training of functional communication was done till the participants were found to emit the communicative response in an independent fashion and there was no occurrence of the self-injurious behavior for at least two sessions Wacker et al., 1990() Results of this study showed that both the training on functional communication and the intervention regarding the self-injurious behavior was necessary to be able to gain maximum control over this behavioral problem. This study is also another example of the effectiveness of manding in the control of self-injurious behavior Wacker et al., 1990() In yet another separate study, six children between the ages of 7 and 11 who were institutionalized were trained to use manding to request for food items under the natural situation where snacks were presented. The appropriate terminology for this study when food was presented by and adult was 'I want a ____'. 'Out' was the appropriate term when the items were placed in the hallway which was across a half-door barrier Simic & Bucher, 1980 () Through the setting of natural condition and using cues, the sequence of steps for this functional communication was trained. The two mands were not trained concurrently rather in sequence. To encourage productions that were 'spontaneous', no vocal cues were provided by the adult. After the children were able to perform according to the criteria required for each step, there were several probe session which were conducted using various adults, cuing conditions and settings. In probes sessions that were held after imitation training, there was no spontaneous manding which was not due to difficulties in production rather was due to the children not showing transfer to the natural cues. This implied that training regarding the specific appropriate cues was often required Simic & Bucher, 1980 () Probe sessions also showed that the children had mastered which mand to use in which situation. Thus they did not mix up the mand with the situation. This was important in showing that the training of the children to learn a second mand, generally did not in any way disrupt the use of the first mand. However, for two children, there was significant disruption. At the end of the training, the trainers did some extinction training regarding one particular mand which did not affect the other mand Simic & Bucher, 1980 () Generally the results of this study showed that the appropriate form of a mand depended specifically on the setting characteristics and specific stimulus. These specific setting characteristics had to be put into consideration during training Simic & Bucher, 1980 () Advantages of using manding From the studies that have been conducted on the use of manding to intervene in certain psychological conditions, there are many advantages of the use of manding that can be seen. One is that manding helps in reducing the occurrence of the particular inappropriate or self-injurious behavior since it enables the subject to be able to replace this inappropriate behavior with appropriate communicative responses. Secondly, manding helps the subject to be able to express themselves in a way which other people can understand them other than the use of yes and no responses which may not be adequate in responding to the question or situation at hand. Manding helps the subjects to be able to carry out activities which they would not have otherwise been able to participate in majorly because their behavior is considered inappropriate in the community or society. Since they are able to reduce the incidence of these inappropriate or self-injurious behaviors, they are able to be more socially acceptable in the community or society at large Winborn-Kemmerer et al., 2010() References Emerson, E. Sometimes the best way to reset is to hang out with someone whose known you forever which is exactly what Atticus and Emerson West are doing these days. Sharing a little sibling time and teasing each other just for fun, and maybe to be there for each other as well.

Do you think Evy and Jon had animals growing up? Like hunting dogs, or a cat? Their family probably had a horse or two when they were little (because carriages) but just - the two disaster sibs and animals :3
Oh yes, definitely. They belong to the huntin’, shootin’, fishin’ set, even if the entire family is socially ostracized for being mixed race. But they definitely keep horses: the entire family can ride and ride well, whether it’s on English lanes or Egyptian sands.
There are certain families who remain friendly with the Carnahans--the Wimseys, the Woosters, the Emersons--and the kids like to pal around together at various summer social weekends, riding out into the hills and woods with picnic baskets and adventure stories to read. Jonathan has a dog that he rescued from some lads as a puppy, named Quatermain, but Evie prefers cats. It doesn’t seem like home without at least a couple of pets around.

( peyton list / cisfemale / she/her ) the paparazzi have spotted EDEN HASSAN , the NINETEEN year old ACTRESS who’s currently working as EMERSON on BARRE NONE. the tabloids have called them ENERGETIC and INTUITIVE, but also METICULOUS and WORRISOME. during their time in the spotlight, they’ve been dubbed the GIRLY GIRL.
i can almost see it....that dream i’m dreamin’ (of reaching mels’ level but lmao in my dreams)
anyhoo, here’s eden hassan, the fourth of five children and second of three girls!
she has hella spirit and about half of it is from being involved in cheerleading
i like to think she’s like 95% straight but she hasn’t gotten drunk and made out with a girl yet so who knows (not that her brothers would let her drink while underage???? parker on the other hand i can see being the devil on her shoulder lmao)
she’s been involved in cheer and gymnastics since she was five so naturally when the opportunity for barre none came, she took it relatively quickly
has her high school diploma and actually physically went to high school as opposed to having a set tutor and now is juggling barre none with one or two general ed courses at the local community college
i can’t believe all the hassan sibs are spoken for now aw lemme have a minute
is kind of a kissass to people she doesn’t really know but tbh she’s just cloyingly nice and has a hard time being mad
loves animals, though not as much as parker does and half the time she spends with parker she’s tending to the animals and playing with them
she really wants a morkie though someone get her a morkie
i am....painfully bad at intros.
is incredibly terrified of suffering a dance related injury and because of that she’s super health conscious and working out whenever possible
that said she’s also fallen asleep in her trailer more times than she can count bc naps are life
her guilty pleasure is ben and jerry’s cherry garcia
coffee order is (usually) a medium iced latte with two shots of espresso, one pump of hazelnut syrup, and almond milk
otherwise she’s chugging water obsessively
likes to know what’s going on, hates to be the last to know everything
she’s kept it under wraps but there’s a small part of her that clings to the hope that maybe their dad isn’t the most terrible man on the planet (of course she’s never said this outloud bc she knows how the other sibz feel abt him)
despite that hope she isn’t shy about admitting how mad their father made her when he stole parker’s money
10/10 would fight anyone who hurts her beloved fambam
has a hidden stash of oreos in her underwear drawer (bc they’re vegan so they must be diet approved, right??) that no one knows about
still a virgin ofc
uhhhhh loves cuddles
uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah she’s happy all the time pls don’t make her cry
i’m a slut for the bad boy/good girl trope

Leonardo Banucci Hengkang Juventus Kehilangan
(detikSport/l) http://dlvr.it/PVyBBH

DPR Setujui Hak Angket KPK
Kita tunggu saja," tutur Fahri. Upaya koreksi atas kerja KPK menurutnya seharusnya dilakukan lewat Panja Komisi III. "Saya diminta ikut fraksi. Koordinasi," ungkap Fadli singkat di depan ruang Sidang Paripurna. Aksi walk out sejumlah anggota DPR karena pimpinan sidang, Fahri Hamzah, tiba-tiba mengetok menyetujui usulan hak angket KPK. On the Right Track Wasekjen Partai Hanura, Dadang Rusdiana menegaskan persetujuan hak angket terhadap KPK bukan bermaksud untuk melemahkan lembaga antikorupsi. Tapi kan harus dijamin KPK on the right track," ujar Dadang kepada wartawan di gedung DPR. (detikcom/h) http://dlvr.it/P1GhTy
