Lots of people have been talking about how so many of the current storylines in AEW are connected/merging in some way, and I love it too, but I haven’t seen anyone talking about this connection (I’m sure someone has, but I haven’t seen it). Maybe it means nothing, but everything seems way too connected right now for it not to be.

Here it is:

The Gates of Agony are currently going after MJF

They are part of the Mogul Embassy

So is Swerve, who is currently feuding with Hangman

Hangman is in the Elite with Kenny

Kenny is about to have a match with MJF on Saturday and (I believe) team up with him on Wednesday

Maybe this leads to Hangman/The Elite and MJF helping each other out a bit more? MJF gets help with his Gates of Agony problem, and Hangman gets help with his Swerve problem? I don’t know, but I’ve been thinking about this ever since the Gates of Agony first called MJF out, and after Dynamite yesterday I think I might actually have something here.

Escape from New York (1981)

Escape from New York has some use of machine guns. One scene using them near the end has a strobe effect, but for the rest of the movie, they have a more realistic muzzle flash than the strobe-type ones one would normally see in a movie, where the moments between the flashes are imperceptible by the human eye.

A few scenes take place at extreme heights, including in aircraft. All of the camera work in this film is very smooth.

Flashing Lights: 2/10. Motion Sickness: 2/10.
