When Laira wildshapes into an animal, is it typically the same animal? Like when she turns into a cat is it always the same one or is it different ones?

I think her wildshapes are all pretty consistent! Some of her stripiness probably comes through too, even if it's hard to see on the coloration.

Hey been a while since I’ve posted any art I’ve done on here and like I’ve done A LOT this year already. I’m even taking commissions now! Check out my twitter @ Zanshlou for status on open slots.

These stained glass style pieces have been a lot of fun. Made a set based on the player character’s of JoCat’s Heart of Elynthi campaign and they got some good traction and attention. I’m glad my work has found an audience and the commissions have been keeping me busy enough to make it hard to find time for my own pieces but I’m having so much fun with the style.

I've been sitting on a rather concerning theory that could very well have a wide-reaching impact on the story and conclusion of The Heart of Elynthi.

In Pallitrios, Laira put on the "mood ring" vest that Fritz and Wurd found. It turned dark blue (or already was and stayed as such), because she was nervous.

However, she never explicitly stopped wearing the vest, and it was never described changing color again. This has led me to the obvious and reasonable conclusion that Laira has ostensibly been in a state of constant and active nervousness for the entire second half of the campaign.

My second theory of dire implication is that the campaign will culminate in a basketball showdown between the Pilgrims and the Underthrone Society, in which Buck will cross up Lord Tejero and-

I’ve been watching Heart of Elynthi and I love it so far! As a RwD fan though, I was wondering what Kyana and Laira would think of each other?

Okay, Heart of Elynthi theory/observation, spoilers for episode 18 below the cut

Shamaia has major death flags, right? She spends her time with Laira in episode 18 very deliberately calling her by name instead of “child”, she was like “one day I Will Die, but it’s chill you don’t need me”, and lastly, and most damningly, she’s a mentor.

Now obviously none of this is super solid, but those along with her kinda suddenly going “actually we need to just spend time hanging out Laira, also I consider you a daughter” implies to me that Jocat is giving himself proper setup to kill her off if he ever needs to motivate Laira or just as an interesting thing.

Giving Laira the exact opposite character development opportunity as Fritz would be an interesting parallel, I’m just saying.

Inktober - Expedition

I recently started the Heart of Elynthi DnD Playcast and I'm enjoying it a lot. I just finished Session 5, so have a Laira and Fritz.

Reasons to watch JoCat’s D&D Campaigns:

1. Art good

2. Story good

3. Everyone is hot

4. Music good

5. Shorter than most liveplays, at a minimum of 4 episodes, maximum of 22, and average of 2.5 hours per episode

6. The trailers are super pretty

7. The NPCs are some of the best I’ve ever seen and you’ll fall in love with them so easily… or hate them if they’re meant to suck

8. The pacing is on point
