Using tumblr is like living in a low class apartment building. You just get used to the landlord not fixing things, and then someone new moves in and you're helpfully like "oh yeah don't drink the tap water, it's got stuff in it that makes you sick" and then your neighbor you've had forever goes "oh they took the stuff out actually" and you're like "what? when was this?"

As the number of elders I inherited continues to dwindle, my predecessor, dear @grimbunnies​, lamented, “I’m probably not supposed to have favorites, but… This is honestly one of the hardest losses for me. She was a favorite <3��� I understand that pain, my dear. Ash, Marshmallow, and Thor were mine of that generation. And it is SO tempting to simply turn off Thor’s aging so that at least one of them will stick around for a long, long while.

Regarding the last Family Tree update, I truly appreciate the comments from, in order, @valiantlydecadentsuit​, @katatty​, and @charmandersims​:

It is impressive! The size of the family, and the website. Neither are my doing, of course. The website was picked and under the account of char, and the size of the family is because I’m playing the fourth generation, so it’s all up to the three previous players and their RoS/sadorandom game. Thank you, katatty, for starting this Round Robin! It’s a real joy to play them, and I’m sorry that I’m a slow enough player that it doesn’t fill all of my time. (That whole not being able to sit at the computer thing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Cracked. Broken bones. I’m hilarious?)
