Ellie wished she was anywhere but here, because what if something went wrong?  But then again, she knew she couldn't be anywhere but here, because what if something went wrong?  What if—

Don't think about it, Ellie told herself.  Don't think about J—

Now wasn't the time to spiral.  Now wasn't the time to get lost in her head.  Dina needed her... didn't she?  Sure, she had the doctor or midwife or whatever she was, but she needed Ellie, too, since she didn't have Jesse (whose fault was that?), and maybe Dina wouldn't have wanted Jesse, maybe she would have wanted Ellie here anyway, but they would never know, would they, because—

 Stop.  Just... just stop.

"Breathe," the doctor said (Ellie was pretty sure she was a doctor, and even if she wasn't she was as close as they were going to get).  "You're doing great, Dina.  Just breathe."

"Fuck you," Dina grumbled, but she dragged in a shuddering inhale, letting it out slowly as her face contorted, then relaxed.  Her head flopped back on the pillow, rolling toward Ellie who stood uselessly next to the bed because what did she know about babies or childbirth or any of it?

Throwing this out there again. 21+ female roleplayer and writer looking for 21+ muns to write Dina/Ellie from TLoU Part II. I'm not too fussed about playing one character over the other, but I will not write with OCs - it's these two or nothing. I'm flexible when it comes to 'verses, though; I have a strong preference for canon and "AU Lite" plots within the LoU universe because both characters are very much molded by the world they live in, but I could be persuaded to go outside of that with a good premise. But no matter what 'verse, please come with ideas! There's a lot we haven't seen in canon, and if we go the AU route, the world is our oyster. I'm less concerned about plot/context/'verse and more interested in delving into the minds of these characters with other people who want to do the same.

I'd consider myself "advanced literate" and I've been in the rpc for well over a decade. This means I tend to do more than one paragraph per reply, but that being said I won't get upset as long as your replies have substance. Quality over quantity and all that. However, I will require a sample of your writing for chemistry purposes (it does not have to be TLoU-related - links to old rp accounts, docs, etc. are totally fine, and I'll probably stalk your blog anyway). I'm selective. I prefer Discord over Tumblr, but I could be persuaded to stay on this hellsite as well. In regards to activity, I totally understand that rp is a hobby. Life happens and that's fine. However, a couple of weeks between replies is about all I'll allow. This is for two reasons: one, it's really hard to maintain the muse for a particular thread or 'verse with that much dead space; and two, if we're on Discord, I hate a cluttered sidebar - unused servers will be deleted if they're left idle for too long. And none of this means that you can't tell me you're going on a long vacation or that you're taking a hiatus. Communication is key and I would love to be informed. But sometimes that's not possible and that's okay; if things fizzle out and I delete our server, it's not personal. It's just something I'm implementing for my own mental health. Also note that while I imagine we will get into NSFW stuff (have you seen these two?), it isn't my focus. I'm happy to accommodate/honor people's triggers and I love love LOVE ooc chatting about characters, headcanons, etc. - but I'd like IC threads to have momentum in addition to that!

When she gets caught out in the art room by quiet, nerdy Lexa, she has to decide whether to maintain her mask, or take a chance and show Lexa who she really is. Quotes: "Is that a drawing of me?" What's Mine Is Yours When Clarke shows up to work wearing Lexa's shirt, Lexa knows it's going to be a problem. The potentially bigger problem, though, is that she's not sure she cares. Quotes: "Is that my shirt?" "You were put on this earth to give me a headache."

Bartender's Oath Lexa has seen Clarke at the bar she tends before, but always with friends. Tonight she's drinking alone… and bad beer at that. One of the two Lexa could handle, but both? She has to intervene. Quotes: "You're pretty." "You're drunk." "You need a place to stay for the night?"

Make Me When Clarke walks into their shared dorm room and sees Lexa wearing her shirt, she demands that Lexa take it off. Lexa's reponse? "Make me." As if Clarke wouldn't… Quotes: "Is that my shirt?" "You heard me. Take. It. Off."

Public Eye When Lexa heads home from Hollywood for the holidays, she doesn't expect to run into anyone… least of all her high school frenemy (and crush) Clarke. Team Building Just when Clarke thought a day of team building at work couldn't get worse, she's forced to cooperate with her nemesis, Lexa, on a high ropes course. Fealty Following the death of the Queen - Clarke's mother - the difference between Clarke's station and Lexa's has never been more pronounced. Coalition Lexa did the impossible when she united the surrounding kingdoms and clans. Then refugees from the Sky Kingdom arrived and through everything into disarray. How far is she willing to go to keep the peace? Quote: "Tell me what you want."

Body Language Last time Lexa tried to talk to Clarke it was a disaster. Her crush continues unabated, but there's no way she's going to approach her again. When Anya tries to force the issue, Clarke ends up approaching her, and Lexa has to make a choice. Quotes: "Did I just say that out loud?" "Do you think of me when you touch yourself?"

Gal Pals When Clarke asks Lexa to pretend to be her girlfriend, Lexa doesn't know how to respond, considering they're on their fourth date… Quotes: "If I ask you to kiss me in front of all these people, will you do it?" "I need you to pretend we're dating."

Superstorm Despite the dire predictions of meteorologists about an oncoming storm, Clarke and Lexa show up to work at their local superstore. Holed up in the break room, alone in an abandoned store, they face their feelings for each other head-on for the first, and potentially last, time. Quote: "I guess dying with you isn't the worst way to go."

Enough Clarke and Lexa have been rivals for as long as they've known each other. In an attempt to one-up each other, a challenge is issued, but have they taken things too far? Or not far enough? Quote: "My friends get annoyed by how much I talk about you sometimes."

Worth The Wait Lexa is getting ready for her third date. Clarke doesn't approve of her choices. Quotes: "Wait a minute. Are you jealous?" "Don't go on that date." "Why?" "You know why." "Say it."

Key To Survival Clarke needs to get Lexa safely to the capital so she can save the world with the key in her head. The problem is they don't know what form the key takes, or how Lexa is supposed to use it, or what happens after. Is rebooting the world and getting everything back to the way it was worth the risk? Quote: "I will never apologize for saving your life, even if it costs me my own."

Playing For Keeps When Clarke blurts out three little words in the middle of a scrimmage, it puts a rift between her and Lexa… but maybe also starts to heal an older hurt? Quote: "I didn't mean to say that but yeah, I love you."

Let It Go In a cabin on the edges of a ski resort, Clarke encourages Lexa to let go... Quote: "Don't cover your face. I want to see you."
