Mother of monsters, indeed.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions! The Seelie King would have you believe this is a story about good versus evil, and it is, but the evil ones are not who the king suggests.

With the Seelie princess “stolen”, I almost hated Fia for how she reacted once placed in the Unseelie kingdom. But she soon learns not all Unseelie are terrible and that her “uncle” and his trusted advisors were wrong.

When Fia finally adjusts to her new home and her connection to the Unseelie Prince, I was so happy! And then their wedding brought forth the tears, as well as the misunderstanding afterwards, but Fia getting revenge cemented my love for her.

Oh and did I mention there’s a dragon..? Haha

* Why do I get the feeling Regin is going to be the jealous best friend?

* Her uncle wants to kill Colvin? Fuck him. I don’t even know this Prince but I like him so far..

* They’re taking her 😨 She’s to marry him. And boy was he not happy with the guard who pushed Fia and made her cut open her head. Yikes. That dude was gutted 😂

* Holy shit. Colvin and Fia getting hot and heavy in her closet.. 😏

* And then getting interrupted in his room by his mother 😂

* Even if this Seelie Princess of mine could somehow find it within herself to stomach my presence, to enjoy me as I did her, any future she might find herself able to envision would not arrive. No matter how much I wished to give her everything.

* A blood drinking dragon. Nice 😏

* The audacity of Regin to show up to the engagement ball and say he misses Fia. Fuck you, dude. And Fia, what the fuck?! He’s a traitor. Don’t entertain him.

* He was every fear I’d ever had and every wish I’d never known I’d longed for. A soul as dark as night and a heart of cloudless mornings, this contradiction of a male had me tethered tightly to him long before he made it irreversible.

* Holy hell. They mated!

* He’s poisoning himself 🥺

* Holy shit. Her dragon mate saved her from the bloodhounds. God I want a dragon.

* Lmao. He literally picked her up with his teeth and dropped her onto his back 😂

* You know.. I’m not even mad that the queen and Colvin knew Fia was his suspected mate long before she found him in that dungeon. The queen is right.. she would have rotted under her “uncle’s” thumb.

* “Right now, I need you to leave.” // “Fine, but don’t you dare forget… I fucking love you, Fia. I’ll love you regardless of what you choose to do with me. Until every star burns out.”

* They fucking drugged them at their wedding?! Fuck these assholes!

I didn’t do a whole lot of reading this week if I’m being perfectly honest. I managed to read one book and start another. And by start I mean I have only read the first seventy pages at the time of writing this, so I’m not very far into the book. But I managed to make some progress (art wise) on my own book. Also I hate the evil king in this book. Mans raising my blood pressure each time he shows up like the little bitch he is).
