No. 4: Do they have the same love language as each other?

i’d say they don’t.

I interpret Ethan’s love language to be Acts of Service, mostly due to all the Nemesis stuff. He sees love as a very give and take thing where him being useful gets him affection and even as Al and Rachel would try and get him out of that mindset, he’d still keep a couple remnants of it. I’d say he’d also value support swapping where Rachel or Al could do the social interactions he’d struggle with and he could do some of their boring work that would give him some quiet times.

Alabaster’s love language would be quality time, he’d probably enjoy body doubling and just getting to be around the people he cares about without it draining his energy. He probably would spend a lot of time just around Rachel and Ethan while Rachel paints and Ethan rests while Al might just doodle or something that wouldn’t make him think too much.

Rachel’s love language is words of affirmation, she loves letting people know how much she loves them. She would info dump a lot, which is kinda based in canon with how Percy talks..Ethan is definitely just a listener to her ramblings, but I’d say Alabaster would ask questions about anything he doesn’t understand or even just to get her talking.

I have many au prompts for them : my favorite being a bodyguard!Ethan where he survives TLO and becomes friend with Rachel, turning himself in her personal bodyguard (*cough* knight *cough*); and I also like the idea of them having to lead the camp together during the event of HOO.

For more traditional HCs, they mainly turn around them both being excluded from or feared by the campers, Ethan for his past mistakes and Rachel for being a mortal or her frightening and tiring power to look after.

I like the idea of Ethan training Rachel or him meeting her parents too.

Really any scenario where they can get protective over each other and threaten others is A+

sage starts tucking little notes into the books he's reading but since he reads so many she doesn't always know which one/ones he'll see first so she puts a little code on them so she can keep track

astrid/zara

the first time astrid had a vision that they were able to prevent involving zara was actually in person. they just happened to be at the store (definitely not trying to figure out if it would come true or not) and ran into zara at the exact moment where they could pull her away from the falling sign

because zara is a celebrity, once they do start going out, they agree to try to hide astrid's identity for a little while so they can have privacy. they both blow it pretty much immediately though

chan yeol/jae

there's one (1) girl jae thinks is good enough for chan yeol of the ones he is forced to go on dates with, but it turns out she's not interested either and jae finds that Proof in some way

once he's comfortable/secure that he's not gonna get fired, jae starts slipping little meetings or briefings into yeol's schedule with people who could actually improve the world in hopes that yeol accidentally greenlights one of their ideas without knowing he's been set up

charlotte/victoria

after the wedding, victoria lingers back home/near charlotte for an extra week before going back to california because she's not ready to face her real life yet

when they dated the first time around, they used to go to really pretentious museums and stuff like that because they both thought the other one liked it, oops

their original plan/contract includes a breakup date

elizabeth starts keeping clothes (work outfits mostly) at ryan's place way before the first time they have sex because they go back to his place just to hang out more often than they go to hers

Who cooks meals for the other?: Ooh, neither. I don’t think either of them would be safe in the kitchen. Adrian is also not a safe person to find places to eat at because he somehow always manages to eat at places that cause people to get food poisoning (a talent and a curse). 

Who spams the other with memes?: Both. They could probably communicate for a while just by using memes. 

Who likes to tidy around the house?: Neither... (These two are not going to be functional adults if they live together)

Who likes to play pranks on the other?: Sage. Adrian would attempt to but it would end up being too complicated and she’d miss it completely. 

Who asked the other to move in with them?: Adrian, and then warns her that he’d have to figure out where to put his books so she could actually move in with her own stuff too. 

Who is in charge of the music during a car ride?: Sage. Adrian would not be picky about the music, so he wouldn’t mind her choosing what they listen to. 

Who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly?: Neither? Sage? If she does, Adrian just lets it happen and awaits his death lol. 

Who needs to hold the other during scary movies?: Sage or neither. I think Adrian overthinks movies and points out illogical plot holes, so he manages not to get freaked out by them.

Who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest?: They must take turns because I don’t think either of them really wake up at a normal time... Who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking?: Sage. He questions her every time as to why she does that.

Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other?: Sage wakes up probably, but it’s like half and half whether or not Adrian is still awake. 

Chan-yeol/Jae

Who cooks meals for the other?: Yeol probably. 

Who spams the other with memes?: Jae. Yeol hates it. 

Who likes to tidy around the house?: Yeol. A tidy house just makes his life easier. 

Who likes to play pranks on the other?: Jae. And he finds it very amusing how annoyed Yeol gets over it. 

Who asked the other to move in with them?: Idk... I don’t think Yeol would, because then they’d be forced to live in the complex his parents own, so it would probably have to be Jae if it came to that. 

Who is in charge of the music during a car ride?: Jae. Yeol doesn’t care anyway, unless Jae is blasting it super loudly.

Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other?: Yeol. In general he also sometimes has a hard time staying asleep, so yeah. 

Charlotte/Victoria

Who cooks meals for the other?: Charlotte? That or they both take turns ordering take-out to bring home. 

Who spams the other with memes?: Victoria (all the memes are left unread for hours at a time because Charlotte forgets to check her phone lol).

Who likes to tidy around the house?: Charlotte, but only because she wouldn’t be able to find the things she needs to get out of the house.

Who likes to tidy around the house?: Ethan, maybe? Noah isn’t a slob, but she also doesn’t mind a mess.

Who likes to tidy around the house?: Astrid or neither. Zara isn’t necessarily messy, but she does have a lot of stuff so you can’t completely tell if things are clean or messy.

Who asked the other to move in with them?: Zara. She tries really hard not to ask Astrid to move in after a few months of dating lol.

Hello all! It's certainly been a while but I've come with good news!

There have been characters of Affinity that have been sold without others knowing, this has led others to get rather annoyed since they only think one person can buy these characters...

... Well, that ends today!

There are characters of Affinity that I don't have any use for anymore, the old designs from 2014-2020 that I don't use in my current AU have no use to me anymore, and I don't want for them to go to waste without a good home for them to have, which is why I've decided to announce that all the old designs from 2014-2020 that I don't use in my current AU are now available to be sold to the public!

about elizabeth “lizzy” hughes

she was born september 9th, 2003

she’s 20 years old

the youngest of the hughes siblings and Luke’s fraternal twin sister (she was born 5 minutes after Luke)

she’s a media girl for the Devils while also attending Rutgers University (Newark campus) where she is pursuing her degree in sports management so she can stay close to older brothers Luke and Jack

she transferred to Rutgers from Michigan when Luke signed his contract with NJ

she’s friends with some of the Michigan boys, current and former (notably Ethan, Seamus, Mark, Dylan, Tyler, Adam and Luca)

used to play hockey (and was a forward like Jack) but suffered a career ending knee injury so she doesn’t play anymore

she still skates though and helps her brothers practice in the offseason (and eventually Wyatt)

meets Wyatt at a Devils-Stars game in New Jersey in the 22-23 season and their relationship becomes official in January 2023

I love how it's canon in the Pjo books that Luke and Percy are the villain and hero respectively because Luke was a fascist and Percy is a punk.Luke grew up sheltered at Camp Half Blood where he was constantly given everything he wanted and needed and loved by everyone but went one quest and pussy'd out of being a good guy because he got a taste of the real world and it was enough to make him groom an entire army's worth of vulnerable children to do his dirty work while lying to them about having any other intentions except giving himself power and is also a misogynistic racist serial pedophile(see the FOUR underaged girls he was attracted to and no one else and treating Chris and Ethan like shit while not bothering with Travis and Connor).Meanwhile Percy is an audhd abuse survivor who grew up poor and was martyr'd by the gods the way Luke thinks he was and is also amab but feminine and acts completely unlike traditional men(nonconformity/most likely transgenderism),is a lifelong bully beater which escalated into fighting fullon authority figures in the form of an actual pantheon(direct action),'does not like to be restrained' and encourages the same of everyone else no matter what rules there are against it(anarchism),hates rich people and refuses to accept any kind of societal power(anti-capitalism),helped out the greco-roman beings that were seen as lesser by their society and participated in Rachel's charity events and protests with her(activism),looks out for younger minorities and even acts as a parental figure to ones with none including darkskin black kids like Hazel(sense of community)and gifted Nico a Ramones shirt(listens to punk music).That's how you know Luke was mayo on moldy bread white and why i know Percy was/should be afrolatino on top of being from El Barrio and deadass getting profield in the mortal world('demigod' excuse was used but it don't happen to any yt demigods!!).White man tears vs Black punk swagger

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 19 now and write very rarely) but I really wanna do it again.

So this is a list of characters/fandoms I write for as well as some rules for asks. Some things may be missing from this list so if you dont see something on this list, feel free to ask. :))

Do add as much detail as you want to a request and please ALWAYS have at least some sort of prompt, as i'm really not good with coming up with storys on my own yet.

I WILL NOT DO SMUT SO DONT REQUEST IT! I might however do spicy stuff (Nothing more than making out or somewhat implied stuff tho).

My writing will be mostly pg 13 but please still be careful if the fic-warnings include sensitive topics, and i might repost some 18+ things so be careful when navigating my blog.
